- [12:07] Aric Linden: shall we start?
- [12:07] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:07] Soft Linden: [1]
- [12:08] Aric Linden: bleh, i just closed my browser
- [12:08] Aric Linden: is having a funky day
- [12:08] Alexa Linden: VWR-6244[c
- [12:08] Aric Linden: thanks Alexa
- [12:08] Alexa Linden: :)
- [12:09] Gellan Glenelg: lots of questions/complaints about this on HIP recently
- [12:09] Harleen Gretzky: Easily reproducable, just select something and rotate your camera around it
- [12:09] Gellan Glenelg: yeah - and it's floating text, parcel lines, avatara tag tooo
- [12:10] Aric Linden: Let's take this one. I'm pretty sure it'll be fixed in the update coming out soon, but work knowing for sure
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:10] Aric Linden: it can be assigned to steve
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: VWR-6301[c
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:11] Soft Linden: Not sure this is intentional - kind of looks like it's ending up in render pass for glow effects or something. But hard to build with, yeah.
- [12:11] Bridie Linden: why are you cursing @ us Alexa?
- [12:11] Bridie Linden: ;)
- [12:11] Harleen Gretzky: This may be teh cause of the first one, not sure
- [12:12] Aric Linden: Let's take this one and pass to pastrami please
- [12:12] Gellan Glenelg: it has a patch now too
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: SVC-688[c
- [12:13] Harleen Gretzky: This was just reopened becasue of the blog entry
- [12:13] Alexa Linden: this last one?
- [12:13] Harleen Gretzky: 688
- [12:13] Harleen Gretzky: There was a blog entry that said to post to this JIRA if you still had failing objects
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: ahhh
- [12:14] Soft Linden: Yes, there was a specific problem with mail service over the weekend.
- [12:14] Soft Linden: Could be imported and passed to whoever authored the blog post if we want more data on it.
- [12:14] Harleen Gretzky: [2]
- [12:14] Harleen Gretzky: Matthew is the OP of teh blog
- [12:15] Soft Linden: He'd know who was working on it then
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: assign to him?
- [12:16] Soft Linden: With a comment asking him to pass it to whoever worked on that, would work.
- [12:16] Aric Linden: yep, good idea
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: next is VWR-6259[c
- [12:17] Gellan Glenelg: on 1.20, yes - slurl's don't work
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: agreed
- [12:18] Aric Linden: let's take it and give it to Steve
- [12:18] Soft Linden: Seems a straightforward import for this - launching a secondlife:// link doesn't detect an already-running viewer.
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:18] Soft Linden: Ya.
- [12:18] Aric Linden: grumbles that this should've been caught in QA
- [12:18] Squirrel Wood: More stuff for QA to test ^^
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: SVC-2093[c
- [12:19] Aric Linden: continues mumbling
- [12:20] Bridie Linden: I believe SLURL issues is fixed for next RC
- [12:20] Aric Linden: let's import and pass to sidewinder
- [12:20] Soft Linden: Seems like this should go to the havok guys to confirm. I think they're actively looking for the small bits of content that got worse, not better under havok4.
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:20] Squirrel Wood: I wonder if it may be the "certain avatars" which cause havok to hiccup?
- [12:20] Aric Linden: maybe, squirrel, I don't know
- [12:20] Soft Linden: Nah. Actually, avatars are all treated as spheres. Attachments and stuff don't collide.
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: next up is
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: VWR-6243[c
- [12:21] Squirrel Wood: Yes!
- [12:21] Soft Linden: Or "ovoids" or such.
- [12:21] Squirrel Wood: I would suggest that in the future when LL plans to remove something they gather usage data first
- [12:21] Soft Linden: This is more an Rx issue...
- [12:21] Soft Linden: Pass it straight on through?
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: agreed on Rx and do think it's a biggie
- [12:22] Aric Linden: agrees
- [12:22] Harleen Gretzky: Not too many issues get 125 votes in that short a time, lol
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: sending to Rx :)
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: next is # VWR-6240[c
- [12:23] Aric Linden: wonders if Discrete is having fun
- [12:23] Discrete Dreamscape: Yes, verily!
- [12:23] Discrete Dreamscape: I just relogged into Dazzle for the first time, actually.
- [12:24] Discrete Dreamscape: Any bug-related info I have isn't covering the stuff listed in the triage page for today.. <
- [12:24] Soft Linden: Have we previously triaged VWR-6240, or is this a dupe? I thought we imported this with 1.19
- [12:24] Aric Linden: grins
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: this just started for me
- [12:24] Aric Linden: Soft, I don't recall this particular issue
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: neither do I
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: not for a long time
- [12:25] Soft Linden: This is when taking snapshots sized larger than the screen. I thought it was a Windlight bug, even. I'm searching notes...
- [12:25] Aric Linden: I thought that was specific windows not snapshots per se
- [12:26] Soft Linden: I could be misremembering. I'll keep looking and link it up if I find it.
- [12:26] Soft Linden: Otherwise - looks like an import for triage?
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:26] Bridie Linden: soft, VWR-3984?
- [12:27] Soft Linden: Bridie - no, was definitely related to jumbo snapshots
- [12:27] Bridie Linden: ah,ok
- [12:27] Gellan Glenelg: possibly related to [3] , [4] ?
- [12:27] Aric Linden: let's grab it and pass to steve
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:27] Gellan Glenelg: oops - second of those should be 4586
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: next up is
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: VWR-2909[c
- [12:28] Squirrel Wood: [5] - A Sculptmap... just as an example....
- [12:28] Discrete Dreamscape: Every time I move my camera, the laptop resets to its default rotation and starts moving again. :\
- [12:29] Harleen Gretzky: That was JIRAed this morning, Discrete
- [12:29] Discrete Dreamscape: Sweet.
- [12:29] Aric Linden: I think svc-2909 should go to RX
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: Rx it is :)
- [12:29] Aric Linden: Although I'm not sure that they're really the right resource for perms
- [12:30] Harleen Gretzky: The images do say Second Life Search on them now though
- [12:30] Discrete Dreamscape: RX?
- [12:30] Aric Linden: actually, let's take it to triage first
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: SVC-1975[c
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: we had this and asked for actual comparisons
- [12:31] Carlitos Compton: mpees
- [12:31] Carlitos Compton: pees
- [12:31] Soft Linden: There's a nice script in there to capture the maximum height reached in a jump. It would be easy to run that on an old and new sim for comparison.
- [12:32] Aric Linden: nods
- [12:32] Aric Linden: please assign to me
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: next is SVC-2060[c
- [12:34] Aric Linden: Let's pass this one to our close personal friend Sidewinder
- [12:34] Soft Linden: I'm wondering if interpenetrating objects aren't being reset to physical on restart.
- [12:34] Soft Linden: Yeah.
- [12:35] Soft Linden: When physics throttling happens, it will let objects interpenetrate a while even if they're physical. If the sim saves in that state, it might not re-set physical to avoid explosive separations again.
- [12:36] Soft Linden: There's one more that could have gone with the earlier map one - [6]
- [12:36] Soft Linden: That's only at 10 votes, but it had both the main scripter channels up in arms over the weekend
- [12:37] Aric Linden: shall we link?
- [12:37] Discrete Dreamscape: I like the new functionality. :o
- [12:37] Discrete Dreamscape: It kills off mapdest spam tools.
- [12:37] Gellan Glenelg: but it breaks everything else too :(
- [12:37] Soft Linden: Might be another go to through Rx
- [12:37] Discrete Dreamscape: Breaks how?
- [12:37] Gellan Glenelg: I no longer get the map screen when I want it
- [12:37] Harleen Gretzky: Some seem to like it though, so maybe it needs to be a preference option
- [12:38] Aric Linden: thinks soft is onto something
- [12:38] Discrete Dreamscape: For a triage noob, what's RX? :)
- [12:38] Soft Linden: Resident eXperience
- [12:38] Discrete Dreamscape: I see.
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: resident experience
- [12:38] Soft Linden: The guys who look over UI and usability issues.
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: so soft, is this a dup fo 6399?
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: of*
- [12:39] Aric Linden: are we ready for patches?
- [12:39] Aric Linden: thinks about clowns everytime he says that
- [12:40] Discrete Dreamscape: :3
- [12:40] Dusty Lindley: nnh
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: wait what is my action on 2060?
- [12:40] Dusty Lindley: whats goin on here? o:
- [12:40] Soft Linden: Is which a dupe of 6399?
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: 2060?
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: trying to find the action on this item
- [12:41] Soft Linden: Oh, sorry - no - separate
- [12:41] Aric Linden: I believe 2060 is fixed in a coming release
- [12:41] Alexa Linden: ok thanks
- [12:41] Soft Linden: 2060 was import for Sidewinder, 2399 for Rx I think
- [12:41] Soft Linden: 2060 was non-physical on restart, 2399 was llMapDestination changing in 1.20
- [12:41] Soft Linden: Just to keep those numbers straight :)
- [12:41] Aric Linden: agrees with soft
- [12:41] Harleen Gretzky: *6399
- [12:42] Soft Linden: right
- [12:42] Soft Linden: Just to -not- keep those numbers straight. *sage nod*
- [12:42] Aric Linden: I'm pretty sure simon fixed the lltarget bug but it never hurts to over communicate
- [12:43] Dusty Lindley: wow
- [12:43] Dusty Lindley: what perfect timing
- [12:43] Aric Linden: ?
- [12:43] Dusty Lindley: about to ask um.
- [12:43] Dusty Lindley: is the VBO bug fixed?
- [12:43] Dusty Lindley: my client just exploded
- [12:43] Dusty Lindley: xD
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: we are working off an agenda Dusty
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Monday_Agenda
- [12:44] Dusty Lindley: oh oh oh.
- [12:44] Ghost Menjou: Funny you said that Dusty , I just updated that issue on the jira
- [12:44] Dusty Lindley: o: /me goes to look
- [12:44] Aric Linden: this mighty mouse bug is killing me
- [12:45] Aric Linden: onto vwr-6430 I think
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: VWR-6430[c
- [12:45] Aric Linden: VWR-6430
- [12:45] Gellan Glenelg: yes, it is
- [12:45] Soft Linden: This is pretty straightforward, just a dialog layout issue - could go to the dazzy guys
- [12:45] Aric Linden: Let's take this one and pass to RX
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: importing to dazzle
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: Rx
- [12:45] Bridie Linden: Sorry to jump back to VWR-6243 for a sec, it's already been addressed and will return in next RC
- [12:46] Bridie Linden: Alexa, I'll link up the issues and resolve.
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: thank you :D
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: next up is MISC-431[c
- [12:46] Gellan Glenelg: yes please!
- [12:46] Aric Linden: um, I suspect that the dev answer to this will be "use mono" but...
- [12:47] Dusty Lindley: lol
- [12:47] Squirrel Wood: mono only on beta :p
- [12:47] Soft Linden: Can import and ping babbage on it - but yeah.
- [12:47] Aric Linden: going out soonish
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:47] Aric Linden: agrees with sof
- [12:47] Aric Linden: t
- [12:47] Soft Linden: Ostensibly, LSL is locked out and not changing one bit, new functions, no grammar changes.
- [12:47] Aric Linden: soft
- [12:47] Soft Linden: s/locked out/locked down/
- [12:47] Harleen Gretzky: Andrew said Mono was not compatiable with H4 though
- [12:48] Squirrel Wood: will have to test if mono still slows down to a crawl under specific circumstances
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: next we have
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: VWR-6482[c
- [12:49] Soft Linden: I'd bet that Ruinitai would have a look at this. He's had the most hand in 3Dconnexion stuff, I believe?
- [12:49] Aric Linden: um, not so much
- [12:49] Aric Linden: he did the first little bit, then they did a bunch of stuff via open source and passed it back, we did a round of testing and steve did some fixes
- [12:49] Aric Linden: runitai only did the initial flycam
- [12:50] Aric Linden: let's take this and pass to triage please
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: got it
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: following that is VWR-6354[c
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: also to triage?
- [12:51] Aric Linden: yes please
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: done
- [12:52] Discrete Dreamscape: Oops.
- [12:52] Alexa Linden: into the Misc section
- [12:52] Alexa Linden: we have VWR-6298[c
- [12:52] Gellan Glenelg: Definite problems saving settings in 1.20
- [12:52] Gellan Glenelg: Looks related to [7] , maybe [8] and [9]
- [12:52] Gellan Glenelg: And... same underlying cause as IM options problems [10] and [11] ?
- [12:52] Harleen Gretzky: Also VWR-6265
- [12:52] Harleen Gretzky: beat me to it
- [12:53] Gellan Glenelg: hehe
- [12:53] Alexa Linden: smiles
- [12:54] Alexa Linden: close as a dup?
- [12:54] Gellan Glenelg: of which one?
- [12:54] Ghost Menjou: Will VWR-3258 be discussed sometime soon?
- [12:54] Ghost Menjou: Since it has been updated
- [12:54] Aric Linden: this mighty mouse bug is killing me
- [12:54] Gellan Glenelg: 3258 isn't on the list for today, Ghost
- [12:55] Ghost Menjou: :/
- [12:55] Dusty Lindley: ):
- [12:55] Dusty Lindley: wants 3258 discussed as well.
- [12:55] Aric Linden: we can take a minute to look at it as we end tho, if that works
- [12:56] Alexa Linden: so is there any action on 6298?
- [12:56] Squirrel Wood: points at the time ^^
- [12:56] Gellan Glenelg: I think it needs looking at alexa... not sure which is dupe of which tho
- [12:56] Alexa Linden: agreed
- [12:56] Gellan Glenelg: needs some links... don't know what to what
- [12:57] Harleen Gretzky: Most of the others are probably dupes of this one
- [12:57] Aric Linden: I'm looking at the internal comments hold on please
- [12:57] Soft Linden: I just looked, btw - 3258 is already imported, and it's open and marked critical internally. Someone's on that.
- [12:58] Dusty Lindley: yay!
- [12:58] Aric Linden: yep
- [12:58] Aric Linden: being worked actively
- [12:58] Dusty Lindley: has been waiting for that one forever ^.^
- [12:58] Squirrel Wood: good to hear :)
- [12:58] Ghost Menjou: Soft , I just updated it so you might need to review , it was tagged as ATI only Nvidia is effected too
- [12:58] Aric Linden: I think, with that, we'll wrap up
