- [15:04] Torley Linden: Oh nice Garn!

- [15:04] Garn Conover: must be Pastrami :)
- [15:04] Bridie Linden: Let's dive in!
- [15:04] Gellan Glenelg: RC2's the first time SL's given me blue screens of death :(
- [15:04] Harleen Gretzky: Hi Aric
- [15:05] Mastorian Kingsford: rc2 works great for me but the same 3 bugs exist in it thats been in all wls before they became the combined client
- [15:05] Bridie Linden: First up...
- [15:05] Aric Linden: hiya Harleen
- [15:05] Bridie Linden: VWR-6604[c
- [15:05] Bri Gufler: I have been trying to run RC2 as much as possible to take advantage of the 3dConnexion mouse but it does freeze up so often :(
- [15:05] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6604
- [15:05] Squirrel Wood: I would assume that's the ruth problem?
- [15:05] Bridie Linden: repros repros repros Bri :)
- [15:05] Alexa Linden: no, it looks different
- [15:05] Bri Gufler: Im trying :( unfortunately it has been somewhat random.
- [15:05] Alexa Linden: I've read about this in the forums too
- [15:05] Bridie Linden: I haven't seen 6604 anyone?
- [15:06] Torley Linden: I haven't seen VWR-6604 myself yet...
- [15:06] Garn Conover: i spent an hour last week conbining all the nvida crash jira's
- [15:06] Bridie Linden: screenshots would be great and of course a repro
- [15:06] Alexa Linden: me neither
- [15:06] Soap Clawtooth: Me either
- [15:06] Bambers Linden: nor I
- [15:06] Torley Linden: Needs more info.
- [15:06] Harleen Gretzky: me either
- [15:06] Soap Clawtooth: But then i use somewhat unique shape - but not identified it on other AV's.
- [15:06] Xugu Madison: Not seen
- [15:06] Alexa Linden: I will see if I can get the pics from the forums I saw
- [15:06] Bambers Linden: a before and after screenshot would be good
- [15:06] Alexa Linden: and will request some from the poster
- [15:06] Aric Linden: screenshots should have a before and after too
- [15:06] Bridie Linden: Nvidia bug that we are tracking internally: VWR-6343
- [15:06] Xugu Madison: I've got a bunch of AVs and haven;t noticed anything od
- [15:06] Aric Linden: so we can compare
- [15:06] Bri Gufler: I have seen this one. My partner looks different on my screen under 1.20 than on his with 1.19. I will try to get pictures of that on both versions.
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: Oh great Bri
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: Let's leave it open for now then
- [15:07] Alexa Linden: k
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: adds self as watcher
- [15:07] Alexa Linden: I'll add triage date and request
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: BTW, does everyone know about watching PJIRA issues?
- [15:07] Garn Conover: emails aren't working for some ppl
- [15:08] Bridie Linden: When you're a 'watcher' on an issue, you'll be emailed when the issue is updated
- [15:08] Bridie Linden: Orly Garn?
- [15:08] Bridie Linden: Next on the list...
- [15:08] Bridie Linden: VWR-6581[c
- [15:08] Garn Conover: there was some1 else in 6243 as well
- [15:08] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6581
- [15:08] Bridie Linden: which i think is likely a dupe of
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6343
- [15:09] Harleen Gretzky: agrees
- [15:09] Torley Linden: Yeah I think I've had that too.
- [15:09] Torley Linden: *reads up and down*
- [15:09] Garn Conover: but yes i been watching 6343 for a few days and havent gotten an email- same withToysoldier Thor (comments on bottom)
- [15:10] Squirrel Wood: crash on login... had that three times yesterday... cache clear did not help. turned out it was a specific avatar nearby which caused it....
- [15:10] Bridie Linden: For late comers, we have some fixes in the *next* RC (RC3) that think will help with the Nvidia issues...
- [15:10] Colton Linden: <--- haz Nvidia issues yay
- [15:10] Soap Clawtooth: lol.
- [15:10] Bridie Linden: Garn were there updates that you missed?
- [15:10] Xugu Madison: Colton, good news is that's got to help with testing, right? :)
- [15:10] Torley Linden: :D
- [15:10] Garn Conover: a good 10 comments
- [15:11] Squirrel Wood: and the nice thing is that the crash reporter fails 100% at trying to send the reports :(
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: Ok, Garn thx for info
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: I've seen plenty of Nvidia crashes that made it through however...
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: At any rate, let's resolve 6581 as a dupe of 6343
- [15:12] Alexa Linden: noted
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: The next one I think is also a dupe...
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: VWR-6585[c
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6585
- [15:12] Soap Clawtooth: Oh dear, i've had this since 1.19.1. whatever
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: dupe of
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6274
- [15:12] Garn Conover: hey Brindie if u conbine 2 jira do u resolve the 'old' one?
- [15:12] Torley Linden: I haven't had this particular one but I've had the "cross a region and half the screen flashes black" one.
- [15:12] Torley Linden: Garn: Resolve as Dupe, link to the remaining open one.
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: nods to Torley
- [15:12] Soap Clawtooth: Yeah i know what that was, its your name tag renders across half the screen (i noted the gloss)
- [15:13] Alexa Linden: newer ones are closed as dup of the older one
- [15:13] Garn Conover: ok i did all but 3 of the 6343 ones and wasn't sure how to tie em off :)
- [15:13] Alexa Linden: since sometimes older ones have aready been imported
- [15:13] Bridie Linden: right
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: Agreed that 6585 is dupe of 6274?
- [15:14] Alexa Linden: looks for raised hands
- [15:14] Xugu Madison: Agreed
- [15:14] Gellan Glenelg: looks like it
- [15:14] Alexa Linden: :)
- [15:14] Alexa Linden: noted
- [15:14] Bri Gufler: Yes it does.
- [15:14] Soap Clawtooth: agrees
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: Yay!
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:14] Torley Linden: Looks similar enough to me too.
- [15:15] Bridie Linden: # VWR-6553[c
- [15:15] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6553
- [15:15] Soap Clawtooth: You can program the buttons at all on a mac. The software is set up different.
- [15:15] Bridie Linden: UPDATE - This is an issue with the 3DConnexion drivers themselves
- [15:15] Soap Clawtooth: can't*
- [15:16] Torley Linden: Are we handling those 3Dconnexion issues in a specific way? I've seen several of them now and wonder what our organization is for 'em.
- [15:16] Alexa Linden: same
- [15:16] Bridie Linden: Not sure, Aric what say you?
- [15:16] Soap Clawtooth: For me the buttons have two default settings , left is flycam mode, right is 'fly up'
- [15:16] Alexa Linden: meta issue?
- [15:16] Gellan Glenelg: there's a meta issue, torley -VWR-6363 from memory
- [15:16] Torley Linden: META issue sounds like a great idea if it doesn't already exist... I didn't look yet!
- [15:16] Torley Linden: (Been buried in Video Tutorial stuffage.)
- [15:16] Soap Clawtooth: If yo try to change that in the software, say you wanted to change the right button to zoom only, it becomes useless.
- [15:16] Torley Linden: *checks*
- [15:16] Garn Conover: i havent figured out how to set my right button yet
- [15:17] Soap Clawtooth: It shows you how to do that in torley's tutorial, garn.
- [15:17] Bridie Linden: looks forward to getting a Space Navigator
- [15:17] Torley Linden: Ah yeah Gellan, that is... wow, there's a lot of issues related to https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6363 (META-issue for SpaceNavigator)!
- [15:17] Garn Conover: they are great Brindie, tho moving and tilting takes some getting used too
- [15:18] Alexa Linden: torley, do you want me to tie all the 3dconnex to 6363?
- [15:18] Bridie Linden: Well, we should make sure Aric and Steve know about the meta issue...
- [15:18] Aric Linden: sorry, looking at my other screen
- [15:18] Aric Linden: scrolling back
- [15:18] Soap Clawtooth: I think there should be a toggle option to let you move your AV in the same way flycam works too. (it would be fun)
- [15:19] Garn Conover: Alexa i have a list of all spacenav jira's via the group
- [15:19] Torley Linden: Yes please Alexa, and that sounds good to me Bridie — I wasn't sure who our current engineering liaisons to 3Dconnexion were.
- [15:19] Aric Linden: the issues are being gathered and sent to 3dconnexion
- [15:19] Alexa Linden: can you IM them to me Garn?
- [15:19] Alexa Linden: or a notecard
- [15:19] Garn Conover: nods
- [15:19] Alexa Linden: and I'll get everyting together
- [15:19] Alexa Linden: thank you ^^
- [15:19] Torley Linden: And be sure to see that META-issue (https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6363) Alexa. ^_^
- [15:19] Soap Clawtooth: Like i said, theres still no way to program the buttons on a mac. :(
- [15:19] Bridie Linden: Ty Alexa!
- [15:19] Aric Linden: you should import this and make assign the meta issue to steve and make me a wathcer please
- [15:19] Torley Linden: That's where a... LOT... of them are. @_@
- [15:20] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:20] Aric Linden: Soap, some of these issues are imiplementation probs on their side
- [15:20] Bridie Linden: Give the 'wathcer' a gold sart, pls
- [15:20] Bridie Linden: ;)
- [15:20] Soap Clawtooth: I expected as much.
- [15:20] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:20] Aric Linden: not ours so we need to work with them to smooth them out
- [15:20] Soap Clawtooth: Ah. ok.
- [15:20] Bridie Linden: More dupes ahead...
- [15:20] Bridie Linden: VWR-6433[c
- [15:20] Torley Linden: Yeah that definitely sounds dupeish!
- [15:20] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6433
- [15:21] Bridie Linden: A combo dupe of both VWR-6343[c
- [15:21] Pastrami Linden: hehe
- [15:21] Bridie Linden: 2 for 1
- [15:21] Alexa Linden: I'l send to 6343
- [15:21] Alexa Linden: since I have an earlier one going there
- [15:21] Bridie Linden: Pastrami any update on the flickering issue to share?
- [15:21] Pastrami Linden: well, runitai's been looking at it
- [15:22] Pastrami Linden: I expect some movement within a week
- [15:22] Garn Conover: gave you 3DConnexion JIRA Issues.
- [15:22] Pastrami Linden: problem is we're seeing some "I have the same setup and don't get it" phenomenon
- [15:22] Bridie Linden: hmms
- [15:22] Mastorian Kingsford: would be nice to see a midnight sky someday
- [15:22] Soap Clawtooth: Might be hardware specific?
- [15:23] Pastrami Linden: as always, get the newwest drivers ;)
- [15:23] Torley Linden: Seems like we need to be astute about (1) having the info presented to us from Resis in a uniform format and (2) a checklist of what they already tried (e.g., YEAH GET THE NEWEST DRIVERS) to rule out dissimilarities.
- [15:23] Soap Clawtooth: mac = no drivers, lol.
- [15:23] Bridie Linden: Maybe Bambers or another QAer could help Pastrami?
- [15:23] Torley Linden: I remember a similar method helping us with earlier WindLight bugs.
- [15:23] Pastrami Linden: let me check something
- [15:23] Torley Linden: I'm going to check something quickly too, BRB over the border.
- [15:23] Bambers Linden: yup - can do that brindie
- [15:24] Mastorian Kingsford: same skies three cats later and no its not fixed lmao
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: scowls @ Bambers
- [15:24] Pastrami Linden: is that like a brined bridie?
- [15:24] Soap Clawtooth: This still texture flicker? o.O
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: scowls @ Pastrami
- [15:24] Pastrami Linden: :)
- [15:24] Bambers Linden: :)
- [15:24] Aric Linden: would laugh but wants to avoid trouble
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: X(
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: j/k
- [15:24] Torley Linden: OK, I'm not seeing texture flickering but I do have that prob (if you already know about) where I cross a region and the top half of the screen flashes black.
- [15:24] Bambers Linden: slinks out the side door
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: Well, next up is...
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: VWR-6674[c
- [15:24] Soap Clawtooth: oh everything flickers for me now, sky, sea, ground, trees, you name it, it flickers.
- [15:25] Bridie Linden: Which I thin is a dupe of VWR-2610
- [15:25] Harleen Gretzky: Doesn't look like a duplicate to me, VWR-2610 concerns the login screen before you are even in SL, and VWR-6674 concerns Linden water
- [15:25] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6674
- [15:25] Gellan Glenelg: that sounds like out-of-date drivers too
- [15:25] Pastrami Linden: yeah, re: flickering, it's in Dave's hands
- [15:25] Pastrami Linden: not much else to say
- [15:26] Gellan Glenelg: I had black sea on first versions of windlight. updating graphics drivers fixed it
- [15:26] Torley Linden: Pastrami, do you know if https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6585 is also being checked out by him? Solid repro for me.
- [15:26] Soap Clawtooth: Sounds like the sea black thing is related my issue of everything black.
- [15:26] Torley Linden: Er, not that one...
- [15:26] Torley Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6393
- [15:26] Torley Linden: Similar/same?
- [15:26] Torley Linden: I'll close dupes if it is.
- [15:26] Garn Conover: IMMY! hehe
- [15:26] Pastrami Linden: I've seen that too
- [15:27] Pastrami Linden: It might be the same
- [15:27] Pastrami Linden: let me email Runitai and bring his attention to it
- [15:27] Bridie Linden: reads up
- [15:27] Torley Linden: Thanks!
- [15:27] Bambers Linden: yeah - seen the screen flicker on region crossing too
- [15:27] Alexa Linden: same
- [15:27] Bri Gufler: I see the screen flicker every time I do a region crossing.
- [15:27] Soap Clawtooth: For me i got no flicker, but my name tag covered half the screen for a split-second
- [15:27] Alexa Linden: yup
- [15:27] Bridie Linden: Let's import 6393 just to be sure (sorry Alexa this is out of order from agenda)
- [15:27] Soap Clawtooth: (which made the screen black)
- [15:28] Alexa Linden: triage?
- [15:28] Bambers Linden: oh - it's a name tag! of course!
- [15:28] Bridie Linden: Pastrami
- [15:28] Alexa Linden: k
- [15:28] Pastrami Linden: yep
- [15:28] Soap Clawtooth: I noticed the gloss on it
- [15:28] Pastrami Linden: assign to moi
- [15:28] Bambers Linden: I noticed rounded edges the first couple of times
- [15:28] Bambers Linden: cool
- [15:29] Bridie Linden: VWR-2610 does mention the login screen...
- [15:29] Mastorian Kingsford: gave you Snapshot : LindenVillage - Bridie Linden, Levenhall (138, 37, 3.
- [15:30] Mastorian Kingsford: midnight skies bug for 6 months now in wl
- [15:30] Colton Linden: Thanks Mastorian
- [15:30] Mastorian Kingsford: only skie to have a white ring on the 360 horizon
- [15:31] Bridie Linden: Sorry the internal issue on 2610 ends up with the 'black sea' issue as in 6674
- [15:31] Bridie Linden: but maybe we should separate out the issues? Pastrami?
- [15:32] Pastrami Linden: ecking
- [15:32] Pastrami Linden: checking
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: ok, let's move on while Pastrami is checking...
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: VWR-6642[c
- [15:33] Pastrami Linden: so you're asking if the white band and the black sky should be seprated?
- [15:33] Pastrami Linden: as issues?
- [15:33] Soap Clawtooth: Not on OS X, no.
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6642
- [15:34] Torley Linden: Hmmm 4 votes on that, wonder if they're all actually having it. Repro is clear enough though
- [15:34] Mastorian Kingsford: no we should not have the white band lol i see the cluds i see the stars i have this lame white band that is 1 inch of sky full 360 at midnight setings
- [15:34] Pastrami Linden: Mastorian you see it too with all shaders turned off?
- [15:34] Bambers Linden: Would vista security settings be significant for writing logs?
- [15:34] Harleen Gretzky: Appears to be a dupe og VWR-6265, except for the Vista specific stuff
- [15:35] Xugu Madison: I was about to say, sounds like Vista's tightened security is the issue
- [15:35] Mastorian Kingsford: all the other skies perfect all times of day perfect except midnight skie time
- [15:35] Alexa Linden: for 6642 harleen?
- [15:35] Harleen Gretzky: yes
- [15:35] Pastrami Linden: yeah, Mastorian, what about with all shaders off?
- [15:35] Bridie Linden: nods to Harleen
- [15:35] Mastorian Kingsford: what shaders diffent on midnight skie then other skies
- [15:35] Alexa Linden: thanks
- [15:36] Harleen Gretzky: The settings themselves are not being saved is VWR-6265
- [15:36] Pastrami Linden: just go into Graphics Preferences and set it to Low
- [15:36] Mastorian Kingsford: shouldnt there be a full black sky as far as can see
- [15:36] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:36] Pastrami Linden: alright, we'll look into it
- [15:36] Bridie Linden: VWR-6584[c
- [15:36] Pastrami Linden: don't want to burn much more triage time
- [15:36] Mastorian Kingsford: its on all setings all screen resolutions
- [15:36] Bridie Linden: another dupe of VWR-6274?
- [15:36] Garn Conover: sounds like it
- [15:36] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6584
- [15:37] Harleen Gretzky: sounds like it to me also
- [15:37] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6274
- [15:37] Bridie Linden: kk
- [15:37] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:37] Torley Linden: Clones!
- [15:37] Mastorian Kingsford: it is the only sky that has a band 1 inch on horizon whats diffent with this sky
- [15:37] Bridie Linden: Next up...
- [15:37] Bridie Linden: VWR-6226[c
- [15:37] Bambers Linden: Invasion of the jira snatchers!
- [15:37] Dale Irata: Hi! Office hour?
- [15:37] Alexa Linden: O.o
- [15:37] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6226
- [15:37] Soap Clawtooth: Yes dale :)
- [15:38] Mastorian Kingsford: been telling you guys since last october hahaha
- [15:38] Garn Conover: i wish inworld view would remember im logged in lol
- [15:38] Dale Irata: (Rezzing...)
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: Is this a dupe Torley? it sounds familiar...
- [15:38] Torley Linden: *looks*
- [15:38] Soap Clawtooth: I reported that shiny prims flash linked to texture flicker.
- [15:38] Torley Linden: What a long summary.
- [15:38] Soap Clawtooth: Similar-ish
- [15:38] Dale Irata: Wondering if any of the LIndens are going to be attending the Web 2.0 Expo at Moscone Center this week.
- [15:39] Torley Linden: It sure does sound similar, Bridie.
- [15:39] Alexa Linden: I have this guys
- [15:39] Bridie Linden: ok, I'll dig for issue later...
- [15:39] Bridie Linden: next up floating camera
- [15:39] Bridie Linden: VWR-6424[c
- [15:39] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6424
- [15:40] Torley Linden: wonders if that's related to confusion with the new camera sliders.
- [15:40] Torley Linden: *looks at the comments*
- [15:40] Soap Clawtooth: Yes, it takes longer for the camera to come to rest in lag. would seem like 'floating'
- [15:40] Mastorian Kingsford: yeah i have this issue too
- [15:40] Bambers Linden: ah yes
- [15:40] Torley Linden: This would be an example where a video repro would be useful. ;)
- [15:40] Garn Conover: sounds like it Torley
- [15:41] Torley Linden: But I have seen the weird "outlines don't move in sync with the object" thing.
- [15:41] SquallLeonhart Aeon: shouts: hmmmmm strange tardis
- [15:41] Torley Linden: I think Michi Lumin reported that as... VWR-6301 and already imported.
- [15:41] Phillip Vought: Yup.. I can confirm that too
- [15:41] Soap Clawtooth: I noticed that it happens in 1.19.1.4 too
- [15:41] Mastorian Kingsford: also when you use camera controls any avs move near you and camers wiggles while moving
- [15:41] Torley Linden: So, "Fix Pending" for that particular "outline" distress. But as for the camera issue which appears to be different...
- [15:41] Garn Conover: the Camera issue is the sliders
- [15:42] Garn Conover: 2nd or 3rd comment fixed it for them
- [15:42] Harleen Gretzky: Outlines in edit mode are VWR-6244 and VWR-6301
- [15:42] Soap Clawtooth: Turn the feathering off: priblem solved.
- [15:42] Soap Clawtooth: problem*
- [15:42] Bridie Linden: no prib!
- [15:42] Torley Linden: SO perhaps, no issue here then, since the "outlines" issue is already handled as Harleen said.
- [15:42] Bridie Linden: ;)
- [15:42] Soap Clawtooth: lol!
- [15:42] Bambers Linden: primblob?
- [15:42] Bridie Linden: Let's resolve this one, pls
- [15:42] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:42] Torley Linden: I recommend resolve and leave a comment encouraging camera slider tweakage.
- [15:43] Harleen Gretzky: Also if you zoom in on prims with ctrl-0 teh outlines get huge and you can;t see teh prims anymore
- [15:43] Bridie Linden: nods to Torley

- [15:46] Torley Linden: He mistakenly thought I rudely closed it, OMG... I need to let him know that wasn't so. :)
- [15:46] Mastorian Kingsford: /vWR-00000 Lack of Linden Bear Hand Outs do to deep love to keep their bears :-)
- [15:46] Bridie Linden: Pls resolve as dupe, Alexa

- [15:47] Soap Clawtooth: lol.
- [15:47] Bridie Linden: Alexa another candidate for the big list o' space nav issues:
- [15:47] Bridie Linden: VWR-6678[c
- [15:47] Bridie Linden: or a dupe...
- [15:48] Phillip Vought: you need a greenies style mashed Jira on the underside of the pan
- [15:48] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:48] Torley Linden: That's already related to the META-issue.
- [15:48] Garn Conover: Alexa thats not on the list
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: VWR-6680[c
- [15:48] Alexa Linden: is now ;)
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6680
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: Gold sart to Alexa!
- [15:48] Alexa Linden: does the sarts dance
- [15:48] Garn Conover: :O
- [15:49] Harleen Gretzky: This repros for me
- [15:49] Gellan Glenelg: me too
- [15:49] Soap Clawtooth: VWR-6678 doesn't specify OS, if its mac, then it comes back to mine and will just have to live with it.
- [15:49] Soap Clawtooth: oh ignore ,e.
- [15:49] Soap Clawtooth: me*
- [15:49] Bri Gufler: I have seen 6680 as well
- [15:49] Soap Clawtooth: My bad
- [15:49] Bridie Linden: Let's import 6680
- [15:50] Alexa Linden: assign to?
- [15:50] Bridie Linden: triage
- [15:50] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:50] Bridie Linden: VWR-6260[c
- [15:50] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:50] Alexa Linden: lol pastrami
- [15:51] Garn Conover: haha!
- [15:51] Squirrel Wood: sounds like proper behavior to me... no focus, no top window
- [15:51] Gellan Glenelg: 6260 repros
- [15:51] Gellan Glenelg: i disagree squirrel... maybe it's badly worded
- [15:51] Torley Linden: The Mini-Map is a weird thing, focus-wise.
- [15:52] Soap Clawtooth: A new window should pop up over a current window.
- [15:52] Gellan Glenelg: if you have minimap have covered by stats... and click on minimap... it SHOULD bring it to front
- [15:52] Torley Linden: Camera Controls also has similar oddities.
- [15:52] Gellan Glenelg: half* covered
- [15:52] Torley Linden: E.g., click on Camera Controls when Statistics are in front.
- [15:52] Bridie Linden: hmms
- [15:52] Bridie Linden: Let's import and see what other folks say
- [15:52] Torley Linden: Sounds like an Rx-y design thing to make windowing model more consistent.
- [15:52] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:53] Cummere Mayo: ild vote for importing that not that it matters to me, since i cant run the canidate at all
- [15:53] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:53] Bridie Linden: :( Cummere
- [15:53] Torley Linden: This certainly isn't new, but it is kinda strange.
- [15:53] Alexa Linden: Rx it is!
- [15:53] Bridie Linden: cool
- [15:53] Soap Clawtooth: Me neither cummere :(
- [15:53] Alexa Linden: :(
- [15:53] Garn Conover: depends what version
- [15:53] Bridie Linden: Next one for the frying pan...
- [15:53] Bridie Linden: VWR-6026[c
- [15:53] Torley Linden: wants to run the RC more and hopes RC3 will crash less.
- [15:53] Cummere Mayo: yeah 1.20 is blue screen of death on load for me
- [15:53] Garn Conover: RC0 was perfect, RC1 crashes every so often, RC2 a complete bust
- [15:53] Alexa Linden: noted
- [15:54] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6026
- [15:54] Torley Linden: Hmmm Lisa should supply a better screenshot in VWR-6026, that's not a good enough reference.
- [15:54] Bridie Linden: Not the trend I prefer, Garn, just for the record...;)
- [15:54] Torley Linden: Sunset and sunrise ARE orangey (and I need add that Pastrami tweaked many many times)...
- [15:54] Mastorian Kingsford: thats what i been telling you since last year at dusk and dawn for 1 min colors go crazy
- [15:54] Torley Linden: and there IS a Balanced preset in the Environment Editor.
- [15:54] Garn Conover: hehe
- [15:54] Aric Linden: that's why they're orangey Torley
- [15:54] Torley Linden: Yes...
- [15:54] Alexa Linden: this goes back to the feature request?
- [15:54] Alexa Linden: umm...
- [15:54] Torley Linden: SO we need to rule out whether this is a graphics technical issue or aesthetic shift, I side with the latter.
- [15:54] Pastrami Linden: Alexa, I'd close that as Won't Fix with an explanation that once WL becomes estate setable,
- [15:55] Pastrami Linden: and tradeable
- [15:55] Cummere Mayo: thats a dupe anyays
- [15:55] Pastrami Linden: all will be able to do this themselves
- [15:55] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6543
- [15:55] Alexa Linden: send them there?
- [15:55] Alexa Linden: after closing/
- [15:55] Pastrami Linden: yeppers
- [15:55] Torley Linden: Good idea, Alexa. :)
- [15:55] Colton Linden: Gotta run, take care everyone :)
- [15:55] Torley Linden: Have a good one, Colton!
- [15:55] Alexa Linden: bye Colton
- [15:55] Cummere Mayo: later coldton. nice meeting you
- [15:55] Bri Gufler: Take care Colton
- [15:56] Cummere Mayo: *colton
- [15:56] Bambers Linden: cya colton
- [15:56] Torley Linden: It's important to make clear that (1) the orange-y ness is intentional, but (2) like Pastrami said, the future will be more controllable.
- [15:56] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:56] Bridie Linden: well put Torley
- [15:56] Pastrami Linden: I really would like to see what people want for usnset
- [15:56] Pastrami Linden: sunset
- [15:56] Torley Linden: Emphasis on "physically-accurate lighting model" and the sun tends to be orangissshhh and HOT...
- [15:56] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:56] Pastrami Linden: and sunrise
- [15:56] Bridie Linden: Time for one more...
- [15:56] Bridie Linden: VWR-6510[c
- [15:56] Soap Clawtooth: So, the future is bright the future is orange, torley?
- [15:56] Torley Linden: Pastrami it is gonna be such a blast to go around to all those regions and do a tour.
- [15:56] Soap Clawtooth: lol.
- [15:56] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6510
- [15:56] Mastorian Kingsford: did you ever noticed my picture billboard it showed the color change at dusk and dawn also the weird midnight white horizon ring i thought pictures would be better to show it
- [15:57] Pastrami Linden: I mean, sunset and sunrise *are* those colors- I look every day :)
- [15:57] Torley Linden: I agree it'd be useful that the Object Owners list could be stretched vertically in About Land.
- [15:57] Squirrel Wood: about land has always been non resizable..
- [15:57] Torley Linden: As well as the ban lists.
- [15:57] Bambers Linden: it's more of a feature request
- [15:57] Torley Linden: This is more of a feature request (it's been this way for a long time) but I think it's a good idea.
- [15:57] Torley Linden: *nods to Bambers*
- [15:57] Xugu Madison: Low priority?
- [15:57] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:57] Bambers Linden: jinx
- [15:57] Torley Linden: Heee heeee.
- [15:57] Gellan Glenelg: no, squirrel, I've been able to extend it downwards to see full list of object owners, in previous versions
- [15:57] Bri Gufler: 1.19.4 allows About land to be resized on Windows at least.
- [15:58] Bridie Linden: So apologies that this was the Triage des Dupes today!
- [15:58] Soap Clawtooth: lol.
- [15:58] Torley Linden: Bri hmm really? I gotta check that later, hope it's not a regression. @_@
- [15:58] Bambers Linden: hmmm - I'm not running 1.19.4 but I am on RC2
- [15:58] Bri Gufler: I just did it right now. Im on 1.19.4
- [15:58] Aric Linden: felt even more useless than usual today
- [15:58] Bridie Linden: I'll try and resolve more before we meet next time, but ask that you all help too :)
- [15:58] Bambers Linden: no resize here. Could be something?
- [15:58] Bambers Linden: :)
- [15:59] Harleen Gretzky: It is resizeable on 1.18.5.3 also
- [15:59] Bri Gufler: On the 1.19.4 I am running on windows right now its fully resizable.
- [15:59] Torley Linden: Hmm then I'd say that's a bug if it infact is resizable on older versions! XD
- [15:59] Bri Gufler: This is useful when trying to clean up land where there are lots of object owners.
- [15:59] Torley Linden: I agree Bri.
- [15:59] Cummere Mayo: its resizable on 1.91.1 -if- you open it fromt he menu
- [16:00] Bambers Linden: Yeah, I think this does look like a bug
- [16:00] Bambers Linden: I'll mention it to Bridie
- [16:00] Garn Conover: wb :)
- [16:00] Bambers Linden: and as if by magic, the triage keeper appeared
- [16:01] Torley Linden: :D
- [16:01] Soap Clawtooth: lol.
- [16:01] Torley Linden: Summon teh Bridie!
- [16:01] Torley Linden: For more gold sarts and great justice!
