- [12:11] Squirrel Wood: Wasn't there a blog post about traffic numbers?
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: me neither
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: I check every day and it's different
- [12:12] Yuu Nakamichi: I thought so too, Squirrl
- [12:12] JayR Cela: yeah / i thought that was a server side issued / and had been resolved
- [12:12] Multi Gadget: v1.54.2: Bridie Linden

- [12:13] Alexa Linden: not sure
- [12:13] Yuu Nakamichi: yup
- [12:13] Alexa Linden: Harleen did the agenda
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: next is VWR-5111[c
- [12:14] Yuu Nakamichi: is this specific o dealing with tiny prims?
- [12:14] JayR Cela: that is definately a RC 1.2 issue client side
- [12:14] Ellla McMahon: Alexa ... traffic issues status post [2] marked Completed
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: thank you Ellla
- [12:14] JayR Cela: camera panning problems
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: ya, we did this one in triage
- [12:15] Sheet Spotter: I've been tinkering in the last few minutes. I can repro it (sometimes) by trying to alt-click on an avatar title.
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: that's where my last post came out of
- [12:15] Aric Linden: let's take the 5477 since it has a repro
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:15] Aric Linden: and close 5111 as a dupe
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: next is
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: VWR-2095[c
- [12:16] Yuu Nakamichi: oh yeah
- [12:16] Yuu Nakamichi: hehe
- [12:16] Gellan Glenelg: I've seen those, but not recently
- [12:16] Yuu Nakamichi: I've seen them with one of the RCs
- [12:17] Yuu Nakamichi: RC 4 or 5
- [12:17] Yuu Nakamichi: now there's just a memory leak :)
- [12:17] JayR Cela: yuu * I agree
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: so aric, action on this one?
- [12:18] Yuu Nakamichi: oh
- [12:18] Gellan Glenelg: hmmm. it's the same as VWR-6389 / VWR-3943 (which are bothe against 1.20
- [12:18] Aric Linden: I'd ask if it's still a problem
- [12:18] Yuu Nakamichi: I commented on it a while ago describing a graphics driver crash
- [12:18] Aric Linden: ahh.
- [12:19] Aric Linden: then let's take it and assign it to bambers for repro
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:19] Aric Linden: he LOVEs this stuff
- [12:19] Yuu Nakamichi: hehe
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:19] Aric Linden: Oh, hi bambers, i missed you sitting over there
- [12:19] Gellan Glenelg: 3943 assigned to workingonit
- [12:19] Bambers Linden: heh - hi chief. I'm triaging incognito. ;)
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: next up is
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: SVC-2087[c
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: which looks to be a dup of the old VWR-2950
- [12:20] Multi Gadget: v1.54.2: Gigs Taggart
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: and yes, groups IM is still bad
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: even if I change my group to the group the IM is from
- [12:20] Aric Linden: It'd be nice to get a real repro tho
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: I still can't chat to the group
- [12:20] Sheet Spotter: I have problems with a group of only 50, so it's not a question of size.
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: same sheet
- [12:20] JayR Cela: group chat problems seem to come and go / for now apparent reason
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: I can write up the steps eric
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: but it does seem to be a hit or miss thing
- [12:21] Aric Linden: blinks
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: more misses
- [12:22] Bridie Linden: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Service_Disruptions
- [12:22] Bambers Linden: I haven't observed any fails in group chat recently when just running basic chat tests
- [12:22] Aric Linden: so Alexa, if you cold write up steps, even of a sort, please import and assign to me
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: next up is SVC-2336[c
- [12:24] Aric Linden: import and assign to sidewinder please
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: VWR-2358[c
- [12:24] Multi Gadget: v1.54.2: Delinius Demina
- [12:25] Squirrel Wood: would that be the cache cleaning stuff?
- [12:25] Bambers Linden: I think we're looking into something similar
- [12:25] Squirrel Wood: used to have it on the windows client which now happily stutters along when you start it with a non empty cache
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: do you have an internal number for if that I can tie this to?
- [12:26] Bambers Linden: steve does I think
- [12:26] Qie Niangao: next-to-last comment on getCurrentRSS() loop?
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: ok - I'll touch base with him and get an internal issue to tie this to :)
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: thanks
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: next up is VWR-7269[c
- [12:27] Gigs Taggart: my client is female
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: greedy client
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: LOl
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: Hi Gigs :D
- [12:27] Gigs Taggart: hi
- [12:28] Squirrel Wood: I have noticed that some people seem to suffer from a memory leak which I just cannot repro on my machine...
- [12:28] Bambers Linden: dupe?
- [12:28] Aric Linden: so we've been having a lot of internal discussion about memory grabbing and leaking
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: ya, I would think it's a dup
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: need to find the main Pjira for that
- [12:28] Aric Linden: I don't think this particular issue does much to advance the argument tho
- [12:28] Aric Linden: sadly
- [12:29] Multi Gadget: v1.54.2: Lillie Yifu
- [12:29] Entered chat: range: Lillie Yifu
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: I'll find the main pjira and tie it to that one and close as a dup
- [12:29] Qie Niangao: VWR-2997, I think
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: thanks Qie :D
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: next we have VWR-5311[c
- [12:30] Aric Linden: ahh yes
- [12:30] Aric Linden: I had a ping on this over the weekend
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: is this a different flavor of the same issue we just had?
- [12:31] Aric Linden: I think so, Alexa
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: will tie together
- [12:31] Lillie Yifu: It seems like the gneral issue with group IM
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: onto patches
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: VWR-1422[c
- [12:32] Aric Linden: I see that benjamin has commented on this
- [12:32] Aric Linden: I think it should be imported and assigned to Rx for monitoring as they move through their planning around related issues
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: great
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: will do
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: VWR-7086[c
- [12:33] Aric Linden: Ramzi rulez
- [12:33] Aric Linden: import and assign to triage, please
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: noted
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: VWR-4371[c
- [12:34] JayR Cela: Alexa O have not noticed that problem
- [12:34] Gigs Taggart: this one was noticed when we started working on making the wind more efficient
- [12:34] Gigs Taggart: we noticed the wind noise wasn't being mixed right :P
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: wasn't there once a tab just for wind?
- [12:34] Aric Linden: heh
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: or an option
- [12:34] Aric Linden: let's take this and assign to triage
- [12:34] Gigs Taggart: wind is now "ambient"
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:35] Gigs Taggart: as far as I know there's nothing else controlled by the "ambient noise" slider other than wind
- [12:35] Aric Linden: hey, while I'm thinking about it - a reminder that there will be NO triage next Monday
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: you're right gigs
- [12:35] Aric Linden: Alexa, would you mind posting that as well?
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: yup :)
- [12:35] Aric Linden: thanks
- [12:36] Bambers Linden: aric - do you have your typing anim off?
- [12:36] JayR Cela: @Gigs / ambient noise also controls things such as high heel shoe clicks while walking / or at least it used too
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: ack
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: that's good to know jayR
- [12:36] Aric Linden: no, bambers, but i'm not wearing headphones so I can only bother others with my typing
- [12:36] Aric Linden: grins
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: next we have VWR-7271[c
- [12:37] Bambers Linden: heh
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: that one's all greek to me :P
- [12:37] JayR Cela: me 2
- [12:37] Aric Linden: /let's take that one. assign to triage please
- [12:37] Bambers Linden: it's all geek to me
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: hahaha
- [12:37] Aric Linden: Rob, maybe we can assign directly to soft or tofu?
- [12:37] Bridie Linden: :)
- [12:37] Rob Linden: Aric, let's put that on *triage*
- [12:37] Aric Linden: let's just pass to triage
- [12:37] Aric Linden: jinx
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: ok :)
- [12:38] Aric Linden: coffee
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: hahaha
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: VWR-7234[c
- [12:38] Bambers Linden: coffee... mmm.... better than sheet's suggestion methinks
- [12:38] Rob Linden: import...assign to triage
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: next is VWR-6891[c
- [12:39] Bambers Linden: not sure how good an idea that would be in conjunction with Remember Password...
- [12:39] Aric Linden: vwr-7234
- [12:40] Bambers Linden: (or maybe I should read more :)
- [12:40] Aric Linden: sorry distractions abound
- [12:40] Aric Linden: import and assign to Rx
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:40] Aric Linden: but if I get a vote, I'd vote no on this. I don't think it's a good idea
- [12:41] Alexa Linden: next
- [12:41] Alexa Linden: VWR-6754[c
- [12:41] Aric Linden: import -> triage
- [12:41] Sheet Spotter: Only change I see is in halign.
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: noted
- [12:42] Bambers Linden: are my eyes and brain not working?
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: ?
- [12:42] Rob Linden: halign="center" is the diff
- [12:42] Bambers Linden: yeah - I missed it 1st time :)
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: VWR-3725[c
- [12:43] Rob Linden: sounds like another Rx issue
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: noted
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: and the last patch is
- [12:43] Alexa Linden: VWR-7030[c
- [12:44] Aric Linden: import, pass to tofu
- [12:44] Aric Linden: please

- [12:44] Alexa Linden: onto misc.
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: VWR-6746[c
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: this has to do with the dazzle skins?
- [12:44] Multi Gadget: v1.54.2: Lillie Yifu
- [12:44] Entered chat: range: Lillie Yifu
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: WB Lillie
- [12:45] Gellan Glenelg: looks like it - dark red on dark grey
- [12:45] Bambers Linden: looks like the icons can conflict with user skins
- [12:45] Bambers Linden: or vice versa -
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: ya
- [12:45] Aric Linden: import please
- [12:45] Bambers Linden: are the icons editable now?
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:45] Aric Linden: bambers, do you think there's enough repro here?
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: I can go to a combat sim and try it out
- [12:46] Lillie Yifu: hihi
- [12:46] Sheet Spotter: I think it's the "100%" text beside the icon that's a concern.
- [12:46] Aric Linden: i think more detailed steps would be good
- [12:46] Bambers Linden: I dare say I could create a skincovered in hearts and lose the heart icon in the noise...
- [12:46] Gigs Taggart: lillie WTF!
- [12:46] Aric Linden: classic "what you see" "what you expect" repro would be good
- [12:46] Bambers Linden: yeah
- [12:47] Aric Linden: i didn't know avs could get st vitus dance
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: ok I can try with reg and dazzle client and post side-by-side differences
- [12:47] Aric Linden: alexa, cool. when you do that assign it to triage please
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:48] Bambers Linden: are we saying that's NOT a custom GUI though Alexa?
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: not sure, that's why I want to try it on a clean dazzle
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: and see what I get versus what they posted
- [12:48] Multi Gadget: v1.54.2: Bambers Linden
- [12:48] Entered chat: range: Bambers Linden
- [12:48] Bambers Linden: ok - but that top menu should be light blue/grey, not transparent as depicted
- [12:49] Qie Niangao: mouselook
- [12:49] Alexa Linden: yes
- [12:49] Bambers Linden: dur
- [12:49] Bambers Linden: sorry - and thanks Qie :)

- [12:49] Alexa Linden: hahahahaha
- [12:50] Bambers Linden: ;)
- [12:50] JayR Cela: yeah the transparent menue stuff in dazze is an annoyance sometimes
- [12:50] Aric Linden: onto vwr-2728?
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: VWR-2728[c
- [12:50] Bambers Linden: yup
- [12:51] Aric Linden: I'd like to know if this is still a problem now that windlight has been merged
- [12:51] Bambers Linden: I believe it is
- [12:51] Aric Linden: anecdotally I hear it is
- [12:51] Multi Gadget: v1.54.2: Aurora Bentham
- [12:51] Yuu Nakamichi: viewer freezes?
- [12:51] Aric Linden: but I haven't seen steps
- [12:51] Aric Linden: yes Yuu
- [12:51] Bambers Linden: but I also believe it could be any one of a number of Mac freeze issues
- [12:51] Lillie Yifu: I have one
- [12:51] Yuu Nakamichi: oh yeah
- [12:51] Lillie Yifu: iTunes
- [12:52] Bambers Linden: afk
- [12:52] Squirrel Wood: viewer freezes have turned into [3] for me
- [12:52] Lillie Yifu: iTunes and Sl regularly results in a freeze.
- [12:52] Yuu Nakamichi: on vista as well - I think there's a crash
- [12:52] Aric Linden: it's cuz iTunes wants to own everything and everyone
- [12:52] Yuu Nakamichi: relating to viewer freezes in RC6
- [12:52] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:52] Aric Linden: let's take this one in. the log info might be useful to Steve
- [12:52] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:52] Lillie Yifu: It's an issue for those of us that use it to ipcast.
- [12:52] Aric Linden: assign to triage please
- [12:53] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:53] Alexa Linden: VWR-6512[c
- [12:53] Aric Linden: ask for log
- [12:53] Alexa Linden: noted
- [12:53] Squirrel Wood: iTunes? Aren't they still selling drm protected crap encoded at inferior making-your-ears-bleed low bitrates?
- [12:53] JayR Cela: Alexa / is this still a problem on Visat / pre - SP1 or post SP1 ??
- [12:54] Alexa Linden: that would be a question for Aric and team
- [12:54] Yuu Nakamichi: this is not the BAD MEM POINTER dialog?
- [12:55] Aric Linden: iTunes DRM? I wouldn't even buy that shit for a ring tone
- [12:55] Yuu Nakamichi: hehe
- [12:55] Yuu Nakamichi: and one more thing
- [12:55] Aric Linden: ohhh
- [12:55] Squirrel Wood: ringtones - easily made yourself.
- [12:55] Aric Linden: you're talking about vista issue
- [12:55] Bambers Linden: sorry - back
- [12:55] Alexa Linden: WB
- [12:55] Squirrel Wood: vista is an issue in itself :p
- [12:55] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:55] Yuu Nakamichi: bug #1
- [12:56] JayR Cela: @ Aric / the out of memory issue with Vista / is it Pre or Post Vista SP1??
- [12:56] Yuu Nakamichi: on ubuntu
- [12:56] Squirrel Wood: you must have admin rights to move the mouse. input password.
- [12:56] Squirrel Wood: you must have admin rights to use keyboard. input password.
- [12:56] Aric Linden: Don't know JayR
- [12:56] Yuu Nakamichi: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6939
- [12:56] Aric Linden: Let's take that one and assign to Bambers
- [12:57] Aric Linden: wow, there's some weird lag stuff going on here
- [12:57] Alexa Linden: noted
- [12:57] Squirrel Wood: monitor not displaying vista? Need admin rights! input pass...
- [12:57] Aric Linden: k
- [12:57] JayR Cela: @ Aric / Squirell / that may be a Vista UAC issue / most users cant figure out how to use UAC on Vista
- [12:57] Bambers Linden: Squirrel, you can switch off EVERY WARNING on the entire system to avoid that mouse and keyboard issue ;)
- [12:57] Squirrel Wood: where would be the fun in that?
- [12:57] Alexa Linden: Thank you all for a great Triage

- [12:57] JayR Cela: :_)
- [12:57] Aric Linden: almost broke the record today
- [12:57] Squirrel Wood: I mean, it takes you 20+ minutes to replace a system dll on vista only to have it restored after a reboot. :p
- [12:58] Bambers Linden: I should change my name to Et Al Linden.....
- [12:58] JayR Cela: bye-byee everyone :_)
- [12:58] Alexa Linden: thanks again everyone
- [12:58] Ellla McMahon: thank you everyone .. great triage :)
