- [15:05] Bridie Linden: 2233 repro'd for me...
- [15:05] McCabe Maxsted: this one's bugged me for ages
- [15:05] Joeseph Albanese: Better yet can they be cashed in for larger ones

- [15:06] Bridie Linden: WElcome Ellla!
- [15:06] Bridie Linden: Kooky! welcome!

- [15:06] McCabe Maxsted: ahoy ella, kooky
- [15:06] Kooky Jetaime: Hey Ladies
- [15:06] Ellla McMahon: thank you ... hello everyone :))
- [15:06] Bridie Linden: We just got started...
- [15:06] Bridie Linden: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Wednesday_Agenda
- [15:06] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2233
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: well, i'd vote for importing - 5 votes seems like a lot these days ;)
- [15:07] Alexa Linden: I agree
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: VWR-1995[c
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1995
- [15:07] Garn Conover: pokes Harleen gently
- [15:08] Alexa Linden: I agree with McCabe's point
- [15:08] Gellan Glenelg: going back to VWR-2233: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-4212 is a duplicate, which has a patch and is already imported
- [15:08] Nya Linden: I vote we import 1995. Do we need a QA repro on it or no?
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: And Gellan gets the first Glod Sart of the day!
- [15:09] Gellan Glenelg: glod??
- [15:09] Joeseph Albanese: lol
- [15:09] Alexa Linden: Yay Gellan!
- [15:09] Alexa Linden: changing to dup
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: our spelling has gotten worse Gellan... :0
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: :)
- [15:10] Gellan Glenelg: haha
- [15:10] Bridie Linden: or our typing is more consistent?
- [15:10] Bridie Linden: ::)
- [15:10] Bridie Linden: where is voice chat setting for friends?
- [15:10] Alexa Linden: ok so 1995 to QA for repro
- [15:11] Gellan Glenelg: edit, prefs, voice chat, "Only acceptvoice calls from people on my friends list
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: is blind
- [15:11] Nya Linden: Alexa - we may not need a repro for it. it sounds likes it's got all the info we need. I think just import.
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: thx Gellan
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:12] Alexa Linden: k
- [15:12] Nya Linden: viewer triage
- [15:12] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:12] Garn Conover: pull the helm up Bridie so its not blockin ya eeys ;)
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: VWR-8613[c
- [15:12] Nya Linden: whoa.. that's not pretty.
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8613
- [15:12] Joeseph Albanese: I have a window that does this 90% of the time its rezzed
- [15:12] Alexa Linden: it's resolved dup
- [15:13] Linden Quintessa: hi
- [15:13] Gellan Glenelg: lots of possible duplicates. My question on this was: should they all be linked to [1] ?
- [15:13] Nya Linden: wow. it's like an earthquake hit those buildings.
- [15:13] Linden Quintessa: hello everybody
- [15:13] Joeseph Albanese: It seems like a render time issue. If it renders in time your good if not it will never rezz fully until you clear cache and relof
- [15:13] Zen Linden: more of a frank gehry building
- [15:14] Nya Linden: hmm... linked to 5647, but not a dup of it.
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: Ha
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: Hmm, I know Qarl did some work ono this recently...we'll have to track down which issue Alexa
- [15:14] Gellan Glenelg: that's what i meant, nya... linking them all to that meta might make it easier to identify future dupes
- [15:15] McCabe Maxsted: I'd pick one to focus on then resolve the rest as dupes, then link to 5647
- [15:15] Bridie Linden: yup
- [15:16] Bridie Linden: Let's keep moving...so others can have a chance @ some glod sarts
- [15:16] Bridie Linden: VWR-4854[c
- [15:16] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-4854
- [15:16] Kooky Jetaime: Considering that groups are in the communicate window, isn't that expected behavior?
- [15:17] Bridie Linden: is still trying to parse this one...
- [15:17] Gellan Glenelg: it's strange that chooseing group CLOSES the window
- [15:17] McCabe Maxsted: oh, I was wrong about those numbers. 11 ways to open the floater, 13 ways to close it
- [15:17] Garn Conover: im confused and i have 3 heads
- [15:17] McCabe Maxsted: there's odd inconsistencies with how the communicate floater is toggled
- [15:17] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:17] McCabe Maxsted: this is one of 'em
- [15:17] Kooky Jetaime: Basically the complaint is the groups button on the Edit Menu, if Groups is already at the forground/active, it will close the iwndow
- [15:17] Kooky Jetaime: er window
- [15:17] Kooky Jetaime: Its old code from when Groups was an independant window
- [15:18] Alexa Linden: what would be the solution?
- [15:18] Kooky Jetaime: From a efficiency standpoint, yank the code, but there must be some reason it hasn't been done yet... or someones just lazy.
- [15:19] McCabe Maxsted: I'd just give the groups window focus; it'd make it consistent with the communicate flyout
- [15:19] Bridie Linden: I see...
- [15:19] Bridie Linden: kooky, would you mind adding a comment
- [15:19] Bridie Linden: Alexa let's import and give to Rx to noodle on
- [15:19] Alexa Linden: and McCabe
- [15:19] Alexa Linden: will do :)
- [15:19] Bridie Linden: Noodle on McCabe?
- [15:19] Bridie Linden: j/k
- [15:20] McCabe Maxsted: touches you all with his noodly appendage
- [15:20] Garn Conover: Nahms!
- [15:20] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:20] Bridie Linden: suddenly has 'Ramble On' in her head...
- [15:20] Bridie Linden: Rambling right along, next up is from joeseph
- [15:20] Bridie Linden: # VWR-8648[c
- [15:20] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8648

- [15:21] Joeseph Albanese: Yes Maam
- [15:21] Alexa Linden: picking out the BSI group :P
- [15:21] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:21] Joeseph Albanese: Just you
- [15:21] Alexa Linden: oof!
- [15:21] Kooky Jetaime: BTW, with that group bug, the Friends button does the same thing
- [15:22] Bridie Linden: Zen is this video card related?
- [15:22] Kooky Jetaime: So does the "Local chat" button
- [15:22] Zen Linden: possibly
- [15:22] Bambers Linden: hi zen - didn't spot you there :)
- [15:22] Zen Linden: ati has a habit of borking fonts...
- [15:22] Joeseph Albanese: It's random and I can't figure anything out to make it happen
- [15:22] Zen Linden: but
- [15:22] Zen Linden: this is nvidia
- [15:22] McCabe Maxsted: same thing happen if you use a different font?
- [15:22] Zen Linden: anyone else seeing this in bsi?
- [15:23] Harleen Gretzky: Not me
- [15:23] Gellan Glenelg: not me
- [15:23] Alexa Linden: nope
- [15:23] McCabe Maxsted: knaw; just the bottoms of my letters getting cut off :/
- [15:23] Zen Linden: Hmmm... i say we
- [15:23] Zen Linden: import and let qa
- [15:23] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:23] Zen Linden: test it on an 8600
- [15:23] Bridie Linden: and diff from this one? https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-4572
- [15:24] Harleen Gretzky: and I have nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX, so maybe it takes series 8
- [15:24] Zen Linden: bridie
- [15:24] Zen Linden: yes
- [15:24] McCabe Maxsted: yeah, lookds different
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: kk
- [15:24] Zen Linden: that's the ati issue
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:25] Bridie Linden: Next up, then...
- [15:25] Bridie Linden: VWR-7337[c
- [15:25] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7337
- [15:25] Gellan Glenelg: I had this happen to me earlier, but it's not consistent
- [15:25] Garn Conover: Alexa is tellin Bridie to hurry up ;) hehehe
- [15:26] Kooky Jetaime: I don't see this one..
- [15:26] Bridie Linden: is slow copy/paster today...
- [15:26] Bridie Linden: I haven't heard of this one before...
- [15:26] Cummere Mayo: i havent had it happen every time but occasionally
- [15:26] Alexa Linden: me neither
- [15:26] McCabe Maxsted: the dupe has an environment: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8586
- [15:27] Garn Conover: Alexa prbly has a machine made to make it look liek shes workign while she counts her Sart collections
- [15:27] Cummere Mayo: figured it was one fo the memory errors
- [15:27] Alexa Linden: hahahahahah
- [15:27] Bridie Linden: lol
- [15:27] Alexa Linden: I keep them in my bottom drawer
- [15:27] Bridie Linden: 1001, 1002,...
- [15:27] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:27] Garn Conover: cerberus eye level.. good!
- [15:27] Kooky Jetaime: Cummere - I hate the crash on close memory error!)
- [15:27] Bridie Linden: Can we see if we can get more info on 7337...?
- [15:28] Harleen Gretzky: Isn't this teh same as VWR-8468 that we discussed last week
- [15:28] Alexa Linden: sure
- [15:28] Alexa Linden: yup
- [15:28] Alexa Linden: I can ask if this one is still a problem
- [15:28] Bridie Linden: Harleen are you ahead of us?
- [15:28] Harleen Gretzky: yes, sorry
- [15:28] McCabe Maxsted: it's still occurring in 1.20.15
- [15:29] Bridie Linden: On to VWR-5044[c
- [15:29] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5044
- [15:29] Bridie Linden: is it a dupe of 8468?
- [15:29] Alexa Linden: I'll see if I can get repro steps
- [15:29] Kooky Jetaime: 5044 - is a bug thats been around for awhile
- [15:29] Kooky Jetaime: since pre-Aug )&
- [15:29] Harleen Gretzky: technically 8468 would be a dupe of this
- [15:29] Kooky Jetaime: er 07
- [15:29] Alexa Linden: ya, I can close the older one and make sure all the info is on the main one
- [15:29] Bridie Linden: Great, thx
- [15:30] Bridie Linden: import?
- [15:30] Alexa Linden: will do
- [15:30] Bridie Linden: Let's skip Ramzi's...
- [15:31] Bridie Linden: Which brings us to...
- [15:31] Bridie Linden: VWR-8527[c
- [15:31] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8527
- [15:31] Kooky Jetaime: Bridie - we skipped 5044
- [15:31] Kooky Jetaime: Whoop n/m
- [15:31] Bridie Linden: :)
- [15:31] Bridie Linden: 8527 sounds familiar...
- [15:32] Kooky Jetaime: (Why do we close older reports of bugs and use the newer? SHouldn't we close new ones and always redirect to the older?
- [15:32] McCabe Maxsted: sounds like an older issue that was fixed
- [15:32] Alexa Linden: we keep the older
- [15:32] Alexa Linden: and close the new ones
- [15:33] Kooky Jetaime: ((OK.. it sounded like you were doing the opposite.))
- [15:33] Alexa Linden: and move info to the main one
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: It does McCabe but is a newish issue (newly reported)
- [15:33] Bambers Linden: they're linked so the closed, older ones can be plumbed for more information though
- [15:33] Bambers Linden: *closed, newer...
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: Alexa can we look for a dupe of 8527?
- [15:34] Bridie Linden: and try to repro?
- [15:34] Alexa Linden: I can look for one
- [15:34] Alexa Linden: if I don't find one do we want to import?
- [15:34] Bridie Linden: is doing quick search
- [15:35] Gellan Glenelg: bridie: maybe https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-998 ?
- [15:37] Bridie Linden: cool thx
- [15:37] Alexa Linden: first glance it looks like it
- [15:37] McCabe Maxsted: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1852 was what I was thinking of
- [15:38] Gellan Glenelg: that looks the same too
- [15:38] McCabe Maxsted: anyone try to repro real fast?
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: another good one
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: Let me know if anyone can repro...
- [15:38] Gellan Glenelg: altho VWR-1852 is "fixed"
- [15:39] Cummere Mayo: guys i'm sorry i have to duck out. i cant focus today
- [15:39] Bridie Linden: maybe 1852 got broken in 1.20??
- [15:39] Alexa Linden: hmmm
- [15:39] Bridie Linden: Next on agenda...
- [15:39] Bridie Linden: VWR-8557[c
- [15:39] McCabe Maxsted: SVC-998 is dated before 1852 was addressed in the 1.19.1 rc
- [15:39] Bridie Linden: which i think we chatted about last week
- [15:39] Alexa Linden: did we get a pic?
- [15:40] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8557
- [15:40] Gellan Glenelg: yeah - took some this morning
- [15:40] Bridie Linden: we did!
- [15:40] Alexa Linden: WOOT
- [15:40] McCabe Maxsted: take care cummere
- [15:40] Alexa Linden: bye!
- [15:40] Gellan Glenelg: I thought about putting a "mugshot" height ruler in background
- [15:40] Bridie Linden: You've lost weight in 2nd pic Gellan
- [15:40] Alexa Linden: hahahahahahaha
- [15:40] Bridie Linden: :)
- [15:41] Alexa Linden: thanks for the clarification print with the pics
- [15:41] McCabe Maxsted: woah, leno disease
- [15:41] Bridie Linden: 'Clear cache/Relog: DOES fix it'
- [15:41] Gellan Glenelg: haha
- [15:41] Gellan Glenelg: it did for me
- [15:41] Bridie Linden: but happens every time you log in?
- [15:41] Bridie Linden: just to your jaw?
- [15:41] Kooky Jetaime: Maybe that should be renamed the Leno Bug
- [15:41] Zen Linden: weird!
- [15:41] Gellan Glenelg: no - but it happens often
- [15:42] Alexa Linden: I winder if this is like the saggy eye bag bug
- [15:42] Gellan Glenelg: and once it's happened, i need to clear cache to fix it
- [15:42] Bambers Linden: kooky +1
- [15:42] Alexa Linden: wonder*
- [15:42] McCabe Maxsted: do you see it on agni with the nightly?
- [15:43] Gellan Glenelg: not yet - but that top pic was on aditi, with latest nightly
- [15:43] Bridie Linden: there's also this one: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1620
- [15:43] Alexa Linden: ya
- [15:43] Alexa Linden: this and they the saggy eye one
- [15:44] Alexa Linden: just these slihgt physical changes
- [15:44] Alexa Linden: slight*
- [15:44] Bridie Linden: can we link them all up, if they aren't already?
- [15:44] Alexa Linden: yup
- [15:44] Bridie Linden: not sure what else to do if we can't reliably repro...
- [15:45] Bridie Linden: note locations when it happens? ping BSI group?
- [15:45] Alexa Linden: it would be nice to find a connection
- [15:45] McCabe Maxsted: really needs to sort through VWR-2149, too...
- [15:45] Joeseph Albanese: I just duped VWR-8527
- [15:45] Al Sonic: VWR 1620 might be the reason my friend called me ruthed once recently.
- [15:46] Nya Linden: yeah.. I was wondering if it was something to do with ruth.
- [15:46] Bridie Linden: repro'd you mean Joeseph?
- [15:46] Joeseph Albanese: yes sorry
- [15:46] Bridie Linden: thx!
- [15:46] Bridie Linden: Well let's keep the shape changers open...
- [15:47] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:47] Bridie Linden: VWR-8549[c
- [15:47] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8549
- [15:47] Gellan Glenelg: doesn't repro for me
- [15:47] Bridie Linden: nor me
- [15:47] Alexa Linden: me neither
- [15:47] Alexa Linden: was building last night
- [15:47] Bridie Linden: wonders if they're on wireless?
- [15:48] McCabe Maxsted: wonder if that's their environent or their friends
- [15:48] Alexa Linden: I can ask both
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: please
- [15:48] Kooky Jetaime: Sounds like connection problems
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: yup
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: Next up...
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: VWR-8597[c
- [15:48] Kooky Jetaime: They are also suffering occasional loss of connection when fetching their inventory and moving across sim boundaries. <--
- [15:48] Alexa Linden: They can edit the offending object
- [15:48] Al Sonic: Mindyou this is now with the particle-avatars to replace missing data... but might our shape still get ruthed if the data goes through wrongly somehow?
- [15:48] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:48] Kooky Jetaime: that right there says it has nothing to do with editing child prims
- [15:48] Kooky Jetaime: I was ruthed yesterday
- [15:48] Kooky Jetaime: right clothes, wrong body
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8597
- [15:49] Alexa Linden: Straylight is lagtastic
- [15:49] Al Sonic: Ah, so it's certainly been happening.
- [15:49] McCabe Maxsted: this happens to me whenever I open preferences or map, sporadically
- [15:50] Kooky Jetaime: I don't have minutes
- [15:50] Kooky Jetaime: but I do get hiccups
- [15:50] Kooky Jetaime: wher eit locks my whole PC up for seconds
- [15:50] Kooky Jetaime: Which shouldn't happen because I'm on a dualcore.
- [15:51] Joeseph Albanese: Similar when I open the texture choosing dialog
- [15:51] Bridie Linden: Reporter has MacBook Pro w/ATI card...
- [15:51] Alexa Linden: I get it sometimes but I blame it on my video card
- [15:51] Kooky Jetaime: and I've seen SL stall, and it doesn't resume unless I minimze it and restore it
- [15:51] Kooky Jetaime: to the point that I can get d/c from it
- [15:51] Kooky Jetaime: XP-SP2 here
- [15:52] Bridie Linden: Nya's had some hardware issues...
- [15:52] McCabe Maxsted: same kooky; odd that they say it's at random though
- [15:52] Kooky Jetaime: I know that voice chat screwes me over
- [15:52] Bridie Linden: Anything we can suggest trying here, Zen or Bambers?
- [15:52] Kooky Jetaime: If I transition from a parcel with no voice to voice, I hang
- [15:52] Kooky Jetaime: and then pick back up seconds later.
- [15:53] Zen Linden: hmmm... haven't been using my ati x1600 MBP recently
- [15:53] Zen Linden: but i did fix
- [15:53] Kooky Jetaime: I don't want voice on my parcel, but I have to turn it on, otherwise every time I cross the parcel boundry I freeze
- [15:53] Zen Linden: the stalls on the 8600M MBP
- [15:53] Kooky Jetaime: I've even been thrown across sim borders from it.
- [15:53] Zen Linden: (or at least hope)
- [15:53] Zen Linden: by turning off impostors and occlusion culling
- [15:53] Nya Linden: interesting... I wonder if it IS voice... the only times I've locked up recently have been in meetings with voice..
- [15:53] Bridie Linden: interesting...
- [15:54] Bridie Linden: kooky can you write that up in a bug report?
- [15:54] Zen Linden: I'd try turning off impostors
- [15:54] Zen Linden: yep
- [15:54] Alexa Linden: I don't use voice at home and still get it sometimes
- [15:54] Zen Linden: and occlusion... i'll add that
- [15:54] Bridie Linden: Zen, would you mind commenting in 8597?
- [15:54] Alexa Linden: I'll try that zen
- [15:54] Zen Linden: bridie... yep, doing so
- [15:54] Bridie Linden: merci!
- [15:54] Alexa Linden: thanks :)
- [15:54] Bambers Linden: nya
- [15:55] Bridie Linden: Skipping the next one and going to our last one of the day...
- [15:55] Bridie Linden: VWR-8035[c
- [15:55] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8035
- [15:55] Gellan Glenelg: this repros
- [15:55] Bambers Linden: nvm
- [15:55] Gellan Glenelg: it's as if the Z coord on top bar is lagging.... until you hit gounrd, then it catches up
- [15:56] Bridie Linden: i see
- [15:56] Bridie Linden: Let's import this one, but i agree with the priority...
- [15:56] Garn Conover: yea seems like lag
- [15:56] Alexa Linden: tough to know when to pull the chute :P
- [15:56] Bambers Linden: maybe the parachute shows your body's altitude, while the top bar shows the altitude of your stomach?
- [15:56] Alexa Linden: kerspat
- [15:56] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:57] Alexa Linden: stares at the glod sart
- [15:57] Joeseph Albanese: quit drooling
- [15:57] Bridie Linden: alright... let's call it a wrap for today!
