- [12:03] Alexa Linden: we're on https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-4843 soft
- [12:04] Moon Metty: hi Soft
- [12:04] xstorm Radek: hi Soft
- [12:04] Alexa Linden: with 2 comments tied to in on the main agenda
- [12:04] Henri Beauchamp: waves hi to the incoming ones.
- [12:04] Soft Linden: Hey hey hey
- [12:04] Alexa Linden: [1]
- [12:04] Yann Dufaux: thx for this morning:)
- [12:04] xstorm Radek: hi Bridie
- [12:04] Bridie Linden: waves
- [12:05] Alexa Linden: I would say to leave it as-is since it's still open publically?
- [12:05] Dessie Linden: Hi everyone!
- [12:05] xstorm Radek: hi Dessie
- [12:05] Harleen Gretzky: sounds like a plan
- [12:05] Alexa Linden: and wait for it to be resolved internally
- [12:05] Harleen Gretzky: Hi Dessie
- [12:05] Henri Beauchamp: agrees
- [12:05] Yann Dufaux: hello Dessie :)
- [12:05] Soft Linden: I'm going to nudge the priority on 4843 internally though.
- [12:05] Moon Metty: ooo, Prospero too
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: thank you soft :)
- [12:06] Moon Metty: uuelcome
- [12:06] Soft Linden: It's set "small," but I think it wants more attention if we really want the in-world browser taken seriosuly.
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:06] xstorm Radek: hi Prospero
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: next up we have https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3015
- [12:06] Henri Beauchamp: Wow, lot's of Lindens today... :-)
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: comment tied to this one is
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: According to Escort DeFarge on SVC-3579[c], this has been fixed but never marked as fix and the fix is one of the causes of SVC-3579[c].
- [12:07] Henri Beauchamp: Which is wrong...
- [12:07] Eata Kitty: 3015 sounds strange. I've had that sometimes, when assets are slow, but it always went away on relog
- [12:07] Alexa Linden: hi Eata :D
- [12:07] Moon Metty: it never changed, i think
- [12:07] Henri Beauchamp: See my comment on Escort's note.
- [12:07] Gellan Glenelg: This still happens occasionally (last saw it yesterday), but I've never had it persist across logins
- [12:07] Kona Linden: back =)
- [12:08] Eata Kitty: Hola :P
- [12:08] Harleen Gretzky: So was it supposedly fixed and not marked as such as Escort claims?
- [12:08] Henri Beauchamp: This issue still happens but has nothing to do with SVC-3579[, which can be reproduced independently
- [12:08] Soft Linden: I saw a bit of this over th e weekend and this morning. It's symptomatic of a slow asset server or a region that's choked with a ton of downloads at once
- [12:08] Moon Metty: yes Soft
- [12:08] xstorm Radek: to many updates all running at the same time
- [12:09] Soft Linden: I'm not sure there's anything to do with this issue right now
- [12:09] Alexa Linden: leave as-is?
- [12:09] Eata Kitty: Should there not perhaps be some handling for that situation so you don't get stuck in having to relog to be able to use the "locked" attachment point
- [12:09] Henri Beauchamp: In fact it happens whenever an attachment is being "Worn", but has still not rezzed: the veiwer then refuses to "Wear" another attachment, till the first rezzes
- [12:09] Soft Linden: Yeah. After LLNet is deployed and images are mostly offloaded to http, we can reexamine whether coms are chocked enough for this to happen.
- [12:10] Eata Kitty: I thought images were already cached on a squid
- [12:10] Yann Dufaux: i have noticed, ghost avatar on differant sim too..
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: so soft, am I just marking this with a triaged date?
- [12:10] xstorm Radek: why not a 3 part inventory system ?
- [12:10] Soft Linden: I don't think there's any safe handling we could add that would deploy more quickly than those bandwidth fixes.
- [12:10] Soft Linden: Alexa - yeah, I would
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:11] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3579
- [12:11] Alexa Linden: Note from Henri Beauchamp 16:44, 23 February 2009 (UTC): no, VWR-3015[c
- [12:11] xstorm Radek: split textures to one part and so on
- [12:11] Soft Linden: Ugh, I thought this was fixed.
- [12:11] Soft Linden: Editing an avatar part and then losing the changes to a rewear stinks stinks stinks
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: import?
- [12:12] Henri Beauchamp: See my comment at the end of SVC-3579
- [12:12] Soft Linden: It's imported - let's see the status
- [12:12] Henri Beauchamp: It's in fact a duplicate
- [12:12] Harleen Gretzky: SVC-3579 was imported in December but remains open
- [12:12] Soft Linden: Internally, it's mistagged as core/lsl - I'm moving it to core simulation
- [12:12] Eata Kitty: I have experienced 3579 a few times recently
- [12:12] Henri Beauchamp: See VWR-7039, which shares the same cause as SVC-3579.
- [12:12] Moon Metty: shopkeepers should be happy when people are trying to exploit this bug, they will sell much more
- [12:13] Moon Metty: as long as it repros only 1 in 5 times
- [12:13] Kona Linden: yep import
- [12:13] xstorm Radek: ? and if some one finds a way to attack that hole ?
- [12:14] Moon Metty: right!
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: any notes that need adding to this?
- [12:14] Henri Beauchamp: Yes: fix it quickly ! ;-P
- [12:14] Soft Linden: Nope. I updated the component internally and added clarification.
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: thanks
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: I'll add a triaged date to this
- [12:15] Soft Linden: There are more eyes on the core/simulation pool, so it should happen sooner.
- [12:15] Kona Linden: excellent
- [12:15] Henri Beauchamp: Good news.
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: next one has already been taken care of
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3114
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: this was from last week
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5588
- [12:15] Kona Linden: Alexa, you mark this a duplicate? =P
- [12:16] Kona Linden: lol
- [12:16] Gordon Wendt: I think 3114 was brought up because the oriiginal listing was a dupe
- [12:16] Gellan Glenelg: the OP states it is a dupe
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: it was as a dup of another that had more info on it
- [12:16] Gordon Wendt: and the person who substituted it in didn't realize that the original was already dealt with
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: we tied to the other and the other was imported
- [12:16] Harleen Gretzky: Yes, VWR-10769 was marked as a dupe of SVC-3114
- [12:16] Eata Kitty: Is 5588 related to the one with avatars where attachments disappeared at certain angles?
- [12:17] Soft Linden: No. 5588 is a problem of the interest list being generated from the avatar position, not the overridden camera position
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: ir reading
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: is*
- [12:17] xstorm Radek: like hair and dresses he he he'
- [12:17] Moon Metty: i tested 5588 today, at some point i couldn't see the prims at all
- [12:18] Prospero Linden: Yeah, I've been observing this myself.
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: ditto
- [12:18] Moon Metty: i was using 1.21
- [12:18] Moon Metty: maybe it has something to do with how coalesced objects are cached ..
- [12:18] Prospero Linden: I suspect that this is intended behavior -- that "draw distance" dosen't mean what it suggests, and that draw distance is really a function of object size.
- [12:18] Moon Metty: i will do more tests
- [12:19] Soft Linden: Are we still talking 5588?
- [12:19] Prospero Linden: VWR-5588
- [12:19] Henri Beauchamp: Yes, Prospero: small objects disappear faster than big ones when zooming away
- [12:19] Soft Linden: Draw distance affects visibility from the avatar's standing position, not the overridden camera position.
- [12:19] xstorm Radek: i was thinking the program do not know how to handle the angles
- [12:19] Soft Linden: That's by design.
- [12:19] Gordon Wendt: Prospero, the current behavior for what objects get rezzed and when is non intuitive
- [12:19] Prospero Linden: Soft : right... what I notice is that smaller prims well within the draw distance of my avatar are not seen
- [12:19] Yann Dufaux: hi prospero
- [12:19] Gordon Wendt: especially when if the system is hiccuping if because a key word
- [12:20] Soft Linden: It will also happen with occlusion. Small objects inside a box won't be visible from just a few meters away.
- [12:20] Gordon Wendt: *becomes
- [12:20] Soft Linden: If anything, maybe we could import with the ask of a knowledgebase article on how the interest list works.
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:20] Prospero Linden: Soft : even a transparent box? One case I was fighting with ahd the objects inside a mostly-transparent box
- [12:20] Soft Linden: Since it's been a frequent point of confusion
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: sounds good
- [12:20] Soft Linden: I don't know how smart the interest list is about transparency.
- [12:20] Prospero Linden: Also, if it's behaving in a way that doesn't make sense, perhaps it should be given to RX to find out if perhaps we need to twiddle with the algorithm?
- [12:21] Gordon Wendt: Asking for a wiki article on how it works would probably work better and wouldn't be subject to the legal issues currently surrounding use of KB articles
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: next up is https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-814
- [12:22] Gellan Glenelg: already imported
- [12:22] Harleen Gretzky: Already imported
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: yes
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: as is the next one https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3181
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: let's move on to https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3057
- [12:23] Gordon Wendt: yeah sorry about that, very messy trying to merge last week's agenda with today's so some things (such as culling these issues) didn't get done in time
- [12:23] Kona Linden: no worries
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: np :)
- [12:24] Eata Kitty: 3057 isnt new. Thats just the loaded particle system triggering on the client again. That always happened unless you set a blank system
- [12:24] Yann Dufaux: i have to many request assistance for this SVC-3181
- [12:24] Henri Beauchamp: Yes, particles get re-triggered after TPs (on attachments), or right clicks on in-world objects
- [12:24] Moon Metty: i tested the particles too today, each time you come in the neighbourhood, the particles are triggered
- [12:24] Gordon Wendt: Alexa, for SVC-3057 I'd venture to say working as intended, they're relying on a behavior that isn't constant when dealing with particles
- [12:24] Gordon Wendt: that's what I gather at least
- [12:24] Moon Metty: i think it's more a VWR issue
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: me too
- [12:24] Soft Linden: For SVC-3057, I'd import. We should go ahead and fix that, even if it's ancient.
- [12:25] Eata Kitty: It would be nice it is very annoying!
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: move to vwr then import?
- [12:25] Soft Linden: I can't see where anyone would be relying on edit operations reenabling particles for legitimate use
- [12:25] Soft Linden: Yeah.
- [12:25] Henri Beauchamp: I think the code for llParticleSystem() could be redone so to issue an empty system after MAX_AGE.... It would make more sense
- [12:25] Eata Kitty: I have to blank all my particle systems to remove them
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: skipping next imported
- [12:25] Kona Linden: =)
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: and next
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: and on to https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2934
- [12:26] Gellan Glenelg: this repros
- [12:26] Gordon Wendt: Someone should really make a meta for state based glitches in LSL
- [12:26] Kona Linden: "poor form" =)
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: import?
- [12:26] Kona Linden: yep
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5894
- [12:26] Gellan Glenelg: if you get the "pay" floater... even if the state changes to one with no money event, you can still use the floater you got
- [12:27] Soft Linden: This should be in SVC
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:27] Soft Linden: But should be imported, yeah.
- [12:27] Eata Kitty: You can get a slightly similarish thing with the "left click to pay this object" thing sticking, although it tells you that you cant pay the object
- [12:27] Henri Beauchamp: I don't think 5894 is there any more... It was an old bug
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: shall I ask?
- [12:27] Eata Kitty: I think thats a viewer bug
- [12:28] Soft Linden: Alexa - sorry - I was replying to the money() one
- [12:28] Soft Linden: I didn't catch that we moved on
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: ahhh ok
- [12:28] Henri Beauchamp: Yes, ask for confirmation it's still there
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: back to 5894 then :)
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: still a problem - needs more info :)
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: and move to svc
- [12:28] Alexa Linden: gotcha :)
- [12:28] Kona Linden: yep
- [12:29] Soft Linden: There's another JIRA already for text vanishing on child prims
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: dup that I can tie to?
- [12:29] Henri Beauchamp: yes, it was an old viewer bug
- [12:29] Soft Linden: VWR-1448
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: ty
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-758
- [12:29] Gordon Wendt: skipped one Alexa
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: did I?
- [12:30] Gellan Glenelg: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5899
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: looks back
- [12:30] Gordon Wendt: VWR-5899
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: ty gellan
- [12:30] Gordon Wendt: Resolve NMI, ask if still an issue for this one?
- [12:30] Gordon Wendt: since it's such an old issue
- [12:30] Harleen Gretzky: 5899is not on my list
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: I see it now
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: hidden :p
- [12:31] Kona Linden: =)
- [12:31] Kona Linden: damn hidden jiras
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: ok so 5899 still a problem?
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: NMI?
- [12:31] Gordon Wendt: Kona, story of my life
- [12:32] Kona Linden: lol, Gordon
- [12:32] Soft Linden: I'd ask if this is still happening. I know there was a lot of work done since this date on how the crash reporter is called.
- [12:32] Gellan Glenelg: I wonder if it's expected behaviour: there are 2 types of "do you want to send crash report" - one when you crash, one when you run SL after a crash... is the preference meant to affect both?
- [12:32] Gordon Wendt: Kona, I'd be accused of diverting if I went into it here but ask Soft about my views on SEC sometime and you'll understand
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: so next up
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: from what I'm seeing is https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-970
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: which is imported
- [12:33] Gordon Wendt: Soft, I'll give you guys credit on that, the crash logger triggers a lot better too isntead of just having silent crashes
- [12:33] Gordon Wendt: Alexa, try refreshing your page, I think you have the old list from earlier
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: so next after that I have https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3813
- [12:33] Beware Hax: hi
- [12:33] Moon Metty: hehe
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: I did refresh and re-opened
- [12:33] Kona Linden: Gordon, I remember they made the crash reporter more "sensitive" for that exact reason of silent crashes
- [12:33] Henri Beauchamp: WEB-970 ?
- [12:33] Gordon Wendt: hmm
- [12:33] Moon Metty: hi Beware
- [12:34] Gordon Wendt: ok, maybe I have the old list then, I'll refresh
- [12:34] Harleen Gretzky: what happened to SVC-758 and VWR-11054?
- [12:34] WolfPup Lowenhar: sorry im late
- [12:34] Beware Hax: id like to mention some issues, at some point, when/if appropriate
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: relaoding again
- [12:34] Gordon Wendt: Harleen, that's why I asked, SVC-758 is the one I really wanted brought up
- [12:34] Henri Beauchamp: Err... we skipped WEB-970 ?
- [12:34] Soft Linden: SVC-3813 is by design. The group is a new owner if you share with group.
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: Hi beware, we are working off a traige agenda right now :)
- [12:35] xstorm Radek: hi Beware Hax :-)
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: web 970- is imported
- [12:35] Beware Hax: i, as usually, didn't think of the triage at the right time so i take i missed the window?
- [12:35] Henri Beauchamp: ok, thanks
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: next I have https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3813 ?
- [12:35] Soft Linden: This is by design.
- [12:36] Prospero Linden: Did we skip SVC-758? Or did I become confused?
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: expected behavior
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: got it
- [12:36] Gordon Wendt: yeah, we skipped two
- [12:36] Henri Beauchamp: lol
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3813
- [12:36] Harleen Gretzky: My list was VWR-5894, then SVC-758, but for some reason we skipped two to VWR-5899
- [12:36] Gordon Wendt: same here, even after refresh
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: 5899 was NMI
- [12:37] Henri Beauchamp: I think 3813 would be the expected behaviour and not a bug...
- [12:37] Eata Kitty: Sounds like it
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: agreed
- [12:37] Henri Beauchamp: If it's no-tfr, you can't shre it with anyone, even less a group
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: expected behavior
- [12:37] Gordon Wendt: Can we feed the two skipped ones in next Alexa?
- [12:37] Gordon Wendt: then we'll be back on track I think
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: which ones?
- [12:37] Gordon Wendt: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-758 is the first one
- [12:38] Harleen Gretzky: SVC-758 and VWR-11054
- [12:38] Gordon Wendt: Assigning key as list element at declare time in the global scope converts it to a string.
- [12:38] Gordon Wendt: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11054 is the second one
- [12:38] Gordon Wendt: Group role "Eject and Freeze" does not include Ban option - problems for renters and landlords
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: also please in the future, can we keep from last minute editing when possiblr :P
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: the meetings normally go much smotther :)
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: smoother*
- [12:39] Kona Linden: it is going smoother
- [12:39] Gordon Wendt: bites his tongue
- [12:40] Kona Linden: Gordon, just don't swallow now
- [12:40] Gordon Wendt: hah
- [12:40] Gordon Wendt: meant hold my tongue btw not bites
- [12:40] Kona Linden: ;)
- [12:40] Gordon Wendt: err holds
- [12:40] Henri Beauchamp: Juts hit SHIFT+Reload in your browser before meeting and it shall go extra-smooth... ;-)
- [12:40] Gordon Wendt: anyway back to the issues...
- [12:40] Kona Linden: so lemme drive for a sec
- [12:41] Soft Linden: Are we on a specific JIRA now?
- [12:41] Moon Metty: lol
- [12:41] Soft Linden: Alexa's choice!
- [12:41] Kona Linden: so back to SVC-758
- [12:41] Gordon Wendt: SVC-758 seems odd since it's only effecting LSL2 and not mono
- [12:41] Kona Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-758
- [12:41] Harleen Gretzky: And key is the only type that does this and only in LSL, in Mono it works correctly
- [12:41] Yann Dufaux: okey go to this loll i have to many web-tab open lol
- [12:41] Prospero Linden: recommends import
- [12:42] Kona Linden: yep, import
- [12:42] xstorm Radek: if it works in Mono now why fix it ?
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:42] Moon Metty: and link to svc-1276
- [12:42] Prospero Linden: xstorm : 'cause we still support LSL vm... I'm not sure if/when the LSL vm is supposed to be phased out, or disabled for new scripts.
- [12:42] Henri Beauchamp: Because LSL and Mono should behave the same way, xsurom
- [12:42] Kona Linden: next puppy...https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11054
- [12:43] Gordon Wendt: xstorm, because a lot of luddites refuse to use mono
- [12:43] Kona Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11054
- [12:43] Eata Kitty: Hmm my client decided puppy was part of the link... theres a new issue!
- [12:43] Kona Linden: lol
- [12:43] Moon Metty: lol
- [12:43] Henri Beauchamp: giggles
- [12:43] Gordon Wendt: Prospero, I gather there are still a lot of people who won't code in mono since even though it's pretty much the same now in behavior they want to be safe
- [12:43] Beware Hax: id like to say something about lsl versus mono. i found somethingf experimentally (and reproducably) which directly opposes a conclusion made by lindens earlier
- [12:44] xstorm Radek: its time to start doing away with the older bugy stuff
- [12:44] Eata Kitty: That approach would get rid of half of SL xstorm
- [12:44] Henri Beauchamp: Mono is buggier than LSL for now, xstorm, so...
- [12:44] Kona Linden: k, pausing on VWR-11054
- [12:44] Prospero Linden: Re: VWR-11054.... is this expected behavior? Harleen's last comment would seem to indicate maybe this is a feature request? Unsure.
- [12:45] Beware Hax: SVC-2967: babbage linden concluded that an idle mono script takes more time than an idle lsl script, but i found it takes the same time, it is only reported as using more
- [12:45] Gordon Wendt: Prospero, depends on how you define fixed and feature request
- [12:45] Harleen Gretzky: This was caused by the fix for VWR-4195
- [12:45] Henri Beauchamp: lol bug = feature for many...
- [12:45] Kona Linden: you mean exploit
- [12:45] Eata Kitty: 11054 - I don't see why you would want to let someone eject but not ban,
- [12:45] Gordon Wendt: according to harleen's commen ts on the jiara.... well see her comments above right here
- [12:45] xstorm Radek: lol
- [12:45] Kona Linden: Eata, agreed
- [12:45] Harleen Gretzky: In order for group members to be able to ban someoen they now need full access to the banlist
- [12:45] xstorm Radek: i say exploit
- [12:45] Soft Linden: Could be related.
- [12:46] Phillip Vought: Eata.. to get someone unstuck is one reason
- [12:46] Prospero Linden: Harleen : previously, they were able to ban but not unban?
- [12:46] Soft Linden: I'd import this and link it to DEV-9688, ask if they're related Alexa
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:46] Gordon Wendt: A way to handle this would be to outline a more granualar way to handle this sort of permissions system and bug soft about it until he gives in
- [12:46] Eata Kitty: Although fine controls for access would be ideal. So you could checkbox every estate power they had
- [12:46] Harleen Gretzky: That is correct, Prospero
- [12:46] Soft Linden: It may be intended behavior, but internal triage can make sure.
- [12:46] Eata Kitty: I agree with Gordon!
- [12:46] Kona Linden: ok now let's move forward with https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11054
- [12:46] Kona Linden: lol
- [12:46] Prospero Linden: OK... some functionality that was used has been lost in the fix.
- [12:47] Kona Linden: sounds like it
- [12:47] Gordon Wendt: make different permissions settings for people for all of these options such as view list, kick, ban, unban
- [12:47] Harleen Gretzky: It is only intended behavior because somoen complained about being able to Eject and Ban in VWR-4095 and LL fixed it
- [12:47] Soft Linden: Ah - the import and link I referred to was for VWR-11054
- [12:47] Harleen Gretzky: *VWR-4195
- [12:47] Soft Linden: Did we change issues again?
- [12:47] Prospero Linden: The list of permissions as shown in the viewer : is that hardcoded in the viewer, or is that downloaded from the server? That is, if we add group permissions, does it require both viewer and server fixes?
- [12:47] Prospero Linden: Sot : I believe we're on VWR-11054
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: seems so soft?
- [12:47] Prospero Linden: Soft
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: we are
- [12:47] Kona Linden: yep
- [12:48] Kona Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11054
- [12:48] Kona Linden: lol
- [12:48] Kona Linden: I say import
- [12:48] Soft Linden: Yes. That's the one where we should import, link to DEV-9688, and ask if it's intentional.
- [12:48] Kona Linden: kk
- [12:48] Gordon Wendt: If it requirs a client upgrade to work I'm guessing making granual permissions a reality is probably a no go then right?
- [12:48] Gordon Wendt: *granualr
- [12:48] Kona Linden: one more time, gordon
- [12:48] Kona Linden: 3rd time is a charm
- [12:49] Prospero Linden: Soft : I would also add a note on the import that the fix to VWR-4195 removed some functionality that resis had used : that is, giving group roles the ability to ban without unbanning
- [12:49] Eata Kitty: Granular should definately be at least a long term goal
- [12:49] Harleen Gretzky: To satisfy both VWR-4195 and VWR-11054 you would have to mkae more granular group permissions
- [12:49] Prospero Linden: Well... a long term goal should be a lot of work on groups in general :)
- [12:49] Soft Linden: Actually, I'd make a separate issue proposing ban and unban as separate role abilities.
- [12:50] Gordon Wendt: I'm not sure I'm up for laying out a whole plan for it but if someone does make an issue suggesting that please ping me about it and I'll vote
- [12:50] Soft Linden: It's going to get lost in the noise if it's just in a note on the other JIRA.
- [12:50] Soft Linden: Yus.
- [12:50] Eata Kitty: Groups should have things like calenders, comments, irc style chat room and and and... *dreams*
- [12:50] Prospero Linden: Eata : and a pony
- [12:50] Moon Metty: :)
- [12:50] Eata Kitty: Pony Linden
- [12:51] Prospero Linden: Garages for every car, pot for every chicken...
- [12:51] Moon Metty: labradors!
- [12:51] Soft Linden: SL Groups Stimulus Package.
- [12:51] Henri Beauchamp: Group should simply work... ;-P
- [12:51] Gordon Wendt: ok, if that's all done
- [12:51] Eata Kitty: I was thinking profiles should work like Myspace pages and it would all tie into groups and friends so there was a whole community network...
- [12:51] Phillip Vought: ohh please.. if groups worked we could have more than 25 :P
- [12:51] Kona Linden: we done folks!~
- [12:51] Gordon Wendt: where were we before we went to these lost issues?
- [12:51] Eata Kitty: If a few dozen lindens are bored for a few months and need something to do
- [12:51] Kona Linden: lol
- [12:52] Kona Linden: Eata, not gonna happen
- [12:52] Prospero Linden: VWR-9024?
- [12:52] Kona Linden: bored...lol
- [12:52] Soft Linden: I think there should be a mouse gesture that rolls freshly minted $20 bills out of the CD tray.
- [12:52] Kona Linden: +1
- [12:52] Eata Kitty: Can I mention a pet bug or two?
- [12:52] Gordon Wendt: SVC-3813 was the last one posted by Alexa

- [12:53] Alexa Linden: then goes to get ice cream and dance
- [12:53] Eata Kitty: I want that new notification design that was shown, with the tabs. Mmm
- [12:53] Kona Linden: ouch
- [12:53] Prospero Linden: confirms wiki unresponsiveness
- [12:53] Gordon Wendt: let me know if you're going to SEC that one, I'll add it to my wiki page of disappeared issues
- [12:53] Kona Linden: gah, damn wiki
- [12:53] Beware Hax: [2] <- my #1 pet peeve for almost a year
- [12:53] Beware Hax: totally no linden activity here
- [12:54] Beware Hax: it has been triaged before
- [12:54] Gordon Wendt: VWR-9204 seems to be a prime target for it too since that's a serious bug
- [12:54] Kona Linden: Beware, someone is working on it
- [12:54] Beware Hax: working, as in, working, or as in, working
- [12:55] Phillip Vought: bye all
- [12:55] Gordon Wendt: can anyone confirm the version effected on 9204? the issue says 1.20 but the comment at the bottom says 1.22.4
- [12:55] Gordon Wendt: err 1.22.5
- [12:55] xstorm Radek: bye Phillip
- [12:55] Kona Linden: bye Phillip
- [12:55] Gordon Wendt: umm.... Beuller
- [12:55] Dessie Linden: cya Phillip
- [12:55] Beware Hax: [3] <-- media auto play bug
- [12:55] Gellan Glenelg: comment at bottom says Using the RC 1.22.5 Viewer, this issue is STILL present, so I'm assuming it affects both
- [12:56] Eata Kitty: How do we submit issues for next week?
- [12:56] Gordon Wendt: import?
- [12:56] Alexa Linden: anyone can add issue to the agenda Eata
- [12:57] Gordon Wendt: Eata, go to [4] there'll be a link there to next week's main triage next monday in a few minutes once I get aroudn to changing the dates and putting in the new schedule template
- [12:57] Soft Linden: I'm confused about why we moved off the agenda D:
- [12:57] Eata Kitty: Rebellion
- [12:57] Alexa Linden: the wiki is down
- [12:57] Gordon Wendt: Soft, I'm still on it
- [12:57] Gellan Glenelg: 9204 is on the agenda
- [12:57] Gordon Wendt: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-9204
- [12:57] Gordon Wendt: is o[n the agenda, it's the next one
- [12:57] Gordon Wendt: *on
- [12:57] Kona Linden: WOOT GORDON!
- [12:57] Eata Kitty: This is interesting. I assume prospero is rendering as an imposter for me so he's clipping through the prims he sits on
- [12:57] Soft Linden: 9204 is no brainer - that's a bug, should import, yeah.
