  • [14:06] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18385] Shared Media, unable mouse scrolling when worn as HUD
  • [14:06] Zai Lynch: that one is EXT
  • [14:07] Dessie Linden: right - moving on
  • [14:07] Alexa Linden: so tie to EXT? ok
  • [14:07] Bambers Linden: yeah, already in the system
  • [14:07] Zai Lynch: /m enods

  • [14:07] Alexa Linden: have any of you seen this?
  • [14:07] Bambers Linden: I have
  • [14:08] Dessie Linden: clone?
  • [14:08] Bambers Linden: I think... you receive Nobody....
  • [14:08] Dessie Linden: or bambers - is it already and ext?
  • [14:08] Dessie Linden: *an
  • [14:08] Bambers Linden: ...if someone offers you a TP from an IM?
  • [14:08] Alexa Linden: oh really? I can add that into the comments and test
  • [14:08] Zai Lynch: ah
  • [14:08] Bambers Linden: I don't believe it's EXT. I actually saw it yesterday and have notes here
  • [14:09] Zai Lynch: right... is even localized in the german viewer
  • [14:09] Dessie Linden: then lets clone it
  • [14:09] Bambers Linden: yes
  • [14:09] Zai Lynch: (niemand)
  • [14:09] Zai Lynch: ^^
  • [14:09] Alexa Linden: ok, I'll import it then and add comments
  • [14:09] Bambers Linden: I saw it in English too
  • [14:09] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18382
  • [14:09] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18382] Clicking a menu a second time does not close it.
  • [14:09] Davy Linden: that repros
  • [14:09] Bambers Linden: I think it's if you trigger a system message that should be FROM the person
  • [14:09] Zai Lynch: repros and is a regression
  • [14:09] Bambers Linden: yes
  • [14:10] Dessie Linden: import
  • [14:10] Alexa Linden: importing then
  • [14:10] Dessie Linden: definitely
  • [14:10] Youri Ashton: ello
  • [14:10] Bambers Linden: Hi Youri!
  • [14:10] Zai Lynch: ellow :)
  • [14:10] Youri Ashton: hey dessie :)
  • [14:10] Alexa Linden: the next one has already been resolved so skipping it
  • [14:10] Dessie Linden: hey youri!
  • [14:11] Youri Ashton: nice seeing you again! hope you are doing great!
  • [14:11] Alexa Linden: so one thing that's new to these triages
  • [14:11] Alexa Linden: is this
  • [14:11] Dessie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18380
  • [14:11] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18380] Available LInden dollars are not recognized by viewer
  • [14:11] Alexa Linden: becuase this is a beta viewer
  • [14:11] Dessie Linden: oops, sorry alexa
  • [14:11] Bambers Linden: dessie - next one :)
  • [14:11] Dessie Linden: didn't mean to step on you
  • [14:11] Alexa Linden: we will be looking at feature requests
  • [14:11] Dessie Linden: right
  • [14:11] Bambers Linden: alexa is really building up the tension today
  • [14:12] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18375
  • [14:12] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18375] Put Link/Unlink in Edit Panel
  • [14:12] Dessie Linden: and also because so much of the viewer has changed
  • [14:12] Youri Ashton: sorry Alexa, didnt mean to take over, just havnt seen Dessie for a long time now :)
  • [14:12] Dessie Linden: :-)
  • [14:12] Alexa Linden: I'm not sure if we have enough Pie pieces for this
  • [14:12] Alexa Linden: if he's talking about the pie menu
  • [14:13] Davy Linden: pie menu?
  • [14:13] Zai Lynch: I think he means the build floater
  • [14:13] Dessie Linden: no pie menus in v2
  • [14:13] Bambers Linden: no, build floater
  • [14:13] Youri Ashton: @bug: think this needs to be checked out. perhaps some code is messed up? missing bracket or something?
  • [14:13] Alexa Linden: ya.. was looking at that sorry
  • [14:13] Bambers Linden: possibly build menu up top also?
  • [14:13] Alexa Linden: old terms :p
  • [14:13] Davy Linden: I read it as 'put buttons to link/unlink on the edit floter
  • [14:13] Bambers Linden: yes
  • [14:13] Davy Linden: they are already in the build menu
  • [14:13] Alexa Linden: what do you all think?
  • [14:13] Dessie Linden: though there is a push to add an edit panel to the sidebar, but this is a different thing
  • [14:14] Zai Lynch: the view times I build, I use Ctrl+L ... I think most builders will do(?)
  • [14:14] Dessie Linden: perhaps ask for more info as unclear?
  • [14:14] Davy Linden: me too
  • [14:14] Alexa Linden: I do Zai
  • [14:14] Alexa Linden: ok I can ask
  • [14:14] Youri Ashton: I usually have inventory opened
  • [14:14] Youri Ashton: while building
  • [14:14] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18373
  • [14:14] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18373] Back button in navigation bar causes teleport. Would rather want to have the buttons in 'Places' sidepanel
  • [14:14] Youri Ashton: but thats pretty much impossible in 2.0
  • [14:15] Zai Lynch: that one has 2 issues by now
  • [14:15] Dessie Linden: this is as designed
  • [14:15] Zai Lynch: one is the lack of teleport warning when you press the back button
  • [14:15] Davy Linden: move to FR?
  • [14:15] Zai Lynch: when you double click a LM, you get a warning and are asked if you're sure that you'd like to TP
  • [14:15] Dirk Talamasca: I request there actually be some features besides MOAP and Additional clothing layers
  • [14:15] Zai Lynch: doesn't happen on "back*
  • [14:15] Dessie Linden: definitely a FR
  • [14:15] Zai Lynch: the other is, that the OP confused the buttons as related to search
  • [14:16] Drew Dwi sneaks in late
  • [14:16] Youri Ashton: back options needs to go back, not do a teleport
  • [14:16] Dirk Talamasca: Hiya Drew!
  • [14:16] Alexa Linden: hey Drew!
  • [14:16] Youri Ashton: so hardly call that good
  • [14:16] Zai Lynch: heyas :)
  • [14:16] Dessie Linden: hey drew!
  • [14:16] Alexa Linden: ok so move to Feature Request....
  • [14:16] Alexa Linden: anything else?
  • [14:16] Drew Dwi: :) is there a agenda / jira list?
  • [14:16] Dessie Linden: but in the nav bar, back does request a tp
  • [14:16] Alexa Linden: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Wednesday_Agenda
  • [14:16] Drew Dwi: ty
  • [14:16] Youri Ashton: think it needs to be placed under bug, not feat req
  • [14:16] Zai Lynch: the lack of TP warning might actually be called a bug altho it's by design atm... design bug
  • [14:16] Alexa Linden: working on https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18373
  • [14:16] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18373] Back button in navigation bar causes teleport. Would rather want to have the buttons in 'Places' sidepanel
  • [14:17] Dessie Linden: right, zai
  • [14:17] Alexa Linden: so moving and marking last triaged?
  • [14:17] Bambers Linden: yes
  • [14:17] Alexa Linden: kk
  • [14:17] Youri Ashton: true zai
  • [14:17] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18372
  • [14:17] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18372] Disclose shared media URL before action
  • [14:17] Bambers Linden: we can still move it internally too
  • [14:17] Alexa Linden: ok babmers
  • [14:17] Alexa Linden: bambers*
  • [14:17] Bambers Linden: :)
  • [14:18] Dessie Linden: we'll just call you babs
  • [14:18] Youri Ashton: think every resident needs to be able to set this on or off, and by default set to off
  • [14:18] Bambers Linden: oh dear me, please no
  • [14:18] Dessie Linden: I'm not sure this is true, is it?
  • [14:18] Youri Ashton: else people with slow pc's will have problems loading
  • [14:19] Alexa Linden: you can set whether you want to see the media of others in preferences
  • [14:19] Dessie Linden: if you hover over shared media, you can see the url
  • [14:19] Youri Ashton: eh?
  • [14:19] Bambers Linden was saying no to dessie, not youri :)
  • [14:19] Zai Lynch: the FR requests the URL in a hovertip. I think that's reasonable... ?
  • [14:19] Alexa Linden: and yes with what dessie said too
  • [14:19] Drew Dwi: I didn't get a chance to test this one, but if it doesn't show the url, I like the idea
  • [14:19] Dessie Linden: but zai, doesn't the moap control constitute that?
  • [14:19] Drew Dwi: the problem with this is, there can be many faces with different urls
  • [14:19] Bambers Linden: seems reasonable (except it means more hovertips)
  • [14:20] Bambers Linden: :)
  • [14:20] Drew Dwi: and the tip only shows info on the object as a whole
  • [14:20] Zai Lynch: he's speaking of a hovertip when the media is not yet activated. no auto play
  • [14:20] Drew Dwi: so would it list all urls?
  • [14:20] Dessie Linden: hrm
  • [14:20] Alexa Linden: screen behind us
  • [14:20] Zai Lynch: then there's no MoaP navigation bar. and therefor no info which URL will be loaded on click
  • [14:20] Bambers Linden: good point drew - there may be more technical complexity - perhaps not the concern
  • [14:20] Alexa Linden: hovering does show me the url
  • [14:20] Bambers Linden detects can open, worms all over the place
  • [14:20] Dessie Linden: I don't have media set to auto-play, so all I see is the control and then either choose to load it or not
  • [14:21] Davy Linden: but only if you have media enabled, alexa?
  • [14:21] Alexa Linden: let's see
  • [14:21] Zai Lynch: oh, the avatar inspector shows the URL
  • [14:21] Alexa Linden: what does or doesn't anyone see
  • [14:21] Zai Lynch: err... object inspector
  • [14:22] Dessie Linden: actually, I think you're right... this is a legitimate issue
  • [14:22] Drew Dwi: oops
  • [14:22] Alexa Linden: LOL
  • [14:22] Youri Ashton: i use 1.23 nighty, so dont ask me :p
  • [14:22] Davy Linden: if media is disabled, need to click the (i) to see url
  • [14:22] Zai Lynch: ^^
  • [14:22] Drew Dwi: ok
  • [14:22] Youri Ashton: hi kitty :)
  • [14:22] Drew Dwi: if you click the (I)
  • [14:22] Dessie Linden: but might it be a bug instead of a FR?
  • [14:22] Dirk Talamasca: It is kinda screwy if it is a long URL though and you can throw a redirect at then end of a URL in a snap
  • [14:22] Drew Dwi: you do get the current url
  • [14:22] Zai Lynch: yuss, you get the URL in the inspector... so is already fixed ^^
  • [14:22] Youri Ashton: doesnt tell anything, i do have media on
  • [14:22] Drew Dwi: with media off you still get the url
  • [14:23] Youri Ashton: doesnt even look like there is anything besides music here
  • [14:23] Alexa Linden: so fixed then?
  • [14:23] Zai Lynch nods
  • [14:23] Alexa Linden: kk
  • [14:23] Alexa Linden: woohoo
  • [14:23] Bambers Linden has to step away. Sorry all, brb asap
  • [14:23] Dessie Linden: if there is associated media, shouldn't the url be available on the object profile?
  • [14:23] Drew Dwi: this seems fixed, need more info if they think otherwise
  • [14:24] Alexa Linden: next up
  • [14:24] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18371
  • [14:24] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18371] Shared Media permissions proposal
  • [14:24] Dessie Linden: very similar issue
  • [14:24] Alexa Linden: yes
  • [14:24] Alexa Linden: dup or link....
  • [14:24] Alexa Linden: and would we say resolved for this too?
  • [14:24] Dessie Linden: but the requested ability already exists
  • [14:24] Drew Dwi: probably needs to be fleshed out, what if the url is another prim, does that count as a url not from SL?
  • [14:24] Drew Dwi: an in world prim
  • [14:25] Dessie Linden: good question, drew
  • [14:25] Alexa Linden: Dessie, would you want to comment on this one?
  • [14:25] Alexa Linden: or want me to comment?
  • [14:25] Dessie Linden: sure, will do
  • [14:26] Alexa Linden: and then any other action on my part?
  • [14:26] Dessie Linden: not just yet, I don't think
  • [14:26] Dessie Linden: let's move on
  • [14:27] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [14:27] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18370
  • [14:27] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18370] Window Title Mini Map redundant
  • [14:27] Zai Lynch: I don't think the title will go away... but maybe the header could go transparent when it's not in focus. just like it's currently in the nearby chat floater
  • [14:28] Dessie Linden: it's a standard that all windows have titles
  • [14:28] Youri Ashton: more a feature request i think
  • [14:28] Davy Linden: 1.23 has a title bar - just no label... not sure how adding the label takes more space
  • [14:28] Youri Ashton: but i do agree
  • [14:28] Dessie Linden: that would be reasonable
  • [14:29] Dessie Linden: it's probably just perception, davy
  • [14:29] Zai Lynch: @davy: it takes space cause it's not transparent
  • [14:29] Youri Ashton: i as well have it most of the time opened and that little bit of extra space it takes away is infact a thorn in the eye so to say
  • [14:29] Davy Linden: oic
  • [14:29] Dessie Linden: right
  • [14:29] Drew Dwi: oo my nemises the mini map
  • [14:29] Zai Lynch: make it like in the nearby chat floater. it has a transparent label when not focused
  • [14:29] Alexa Linden: so moving to FR
  • [14:29] Youri Ashton: perhaps add a button that allowes the user to switch between old style and new style?
  • [14:29] Drew Dwi: yea, def FR
  • [14:29] Dessie Linden: comment that it should go semi transparent
  • [14:30] Dessie Linden: as zai mentioned
  • [14:30] Alexa Linden: anything else or we good to go
  • [14:30] Alexa Linden: ok will add that as a comment
  • [14:30] Dessie Linden: good to go, I think
  • [14:30] Drew Dwi: it does not go semi transparent, but thats a different bug maybe
  • [14:30] Dessie Linden: no... the request would be that it go semi-transparent
  • [14:30] Dessie Linden: right?
  • [14:30] Zai Lynch: yes
  • [14:30] Dessie Linden: not that it be removed
  • [14:30] Zai Lynch nods
  • [14:31] Dessie Linden: so change the title on import
  • [14:31] Drew Dwi: it not going transparent would be a bug, having the bar removed would be a FR
  • [14:31] Alexa Linden: ok
  • [14:31] Drew Dwi: i'll file against transparency gone
  • [14:31] Drew Dwi: can make this a FR
  • [14:31] Alexa Linden: next up
  • [14:31] Alexa Linden: yup I'm moving to FR Drew
  • [14:31] Zai Lynch: the only floater that has transparency is the nearby chat floater. all others don't have it, by design
  • [14:32] Dessie Linden: actually, no part of the mini map is semi transparent
  • [14:32] Dessie Linden: right, zai
  • [14:32] Youri Ashton: as i said, perhaps a good idea to have a option so each resident can choose for themselfs
  • [14:32] Zai Lynch: (that's pretty crappy imho... I think I had a report once, requesting all floaters to go semi-trasparent on lost focus... should dig it up or file new...)
  • [14:33] Drew Dwi: if we are expecting the same functionality as 1.23.x then it should go semi-transparent when not in focus
  • [14:33] Alexa Linden: next is https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18369
  • [14:33] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18369] Freezing and crashes
  • [14:33] Dessie Linden: there may already be a pjira about making all floaters semi-transparent when not in focus
  • [14:33] Dirk Talamasca: Yeah and it is massively lame on the nearby chat floater because when you click in to type it goes transparent although you may not wish that to be so
  • [14:33] Drew Dwi: the crash one needs more info, at least a crash log/secondlife.log
  • [14:33] Zai Lynch nods
  • [14:34] Youri Ashton: noticed the same on my ATI card
  • [14:34] Youri Ashton: even get black screens
  • [14:34] Davy Linden: and ask if reverting to previous driver helps?
  • [14:34] Dessie Linden: windows 7
  • [14:34] Youri Ashton: thats black for almost everything of the viewer, except the UI
  • [14:34] Ellla McMahon: the Nvidia driver they were using has MAJOR issues
  • [14:34] Dessie Linden: which we don't yet fully support, I don't think
  • [14:34] Alexa Linden: ok, NMI for this
  • [14:34] Youri Ashton: tried old and new drivers, even a clean windows install
  • [14:34] Alexa Linden: I'm on W7 at home
  • [14:34] Youri Ashton: so its the viewer most likely
  • [14:34] Drew Dwi: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-16964 - is that transparency bug if anyone was looking
  • [14:35] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-16964] PLEASE allow adjustable transparency of "Nearby Chat" window, Chat History and Chat "Toasts" in Viewer 2.0!
  • [14:35] Drew Dwi: the global one
  • [14:35] Dessie Linden: thanks, drew
  • [14:35] Alexa Linden: NMI - Asking for logs
  • [14:35] Zai Lynch: that doesn't cover mini-map, script editor etc
  • [14:35] Zai Lynch: script editor is huge for me. blocks the screen....
  • [14:35] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18368
  • [14:35] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18368] Region/Estate Settings Allowed Residents and Allowed Groups
  • [14:35] Zai Lynch: expected behavior
  • [14:36] Drew Dwi: this is something emerald has made people expect
  • [14:36] Drew Dwi: by default, if public access is allowed, you don't see allowed groups/people
  • [14:36] Drew Dwi: untill public access is turned off
  • [14:36] Alexa Linden: yes this is EB
  • [14:36] Zai Lynch nods
  • [14:36] Drew Dwi: in emerald, you see the lists no matter what
  • [14:36] Drew Dwi: oskar and I tested it out so yea def EB
  • [14:36] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18367
  • [14:36] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18367] Alpha Clothing Layers for attachments e.g. feet/arms/hands
  • [14:37] Zai Lynch: is already implemented
  • [14:37] Dessie Linden: yup
  • [14:37] Drew Dwi: they want more layers
  • [14:37] Drew Dwi: they want a layer just for hands
  • [14:37] Drew Dwi: for example
  • [14:37] Zai Lynch: I think he didn't understand that he can mask only parts of his avi
  • [14:37] Youri Ashton: wasnt Nyx working on something like this?
  • [14:37] Drew Dwi: not the entire shirt layer
  • [14:38] Alexa Linden: this exists
  • [14:38] Alexa Linden: right
  • [14:38] Zai Lynch: nyx has a FR for more than one layer, yeah
  • [14:38] Youri Ashton: well, not sure alexa
  • [14:38] Youri Ashton: perhaps ask Nyx for more info
  • [14:38] Alexa Linden: you have to import the alpha is you want just a hole in your chest for example
  • [14:38] Youri Ashton: think he is the best person to answer the question
  • [14:38] Bambers Linden: hi, back
  • [14:38] Youri Ashton: since its his department
  • [14:38] Drew Dwi: wb!
  • [14:38] Youri Ashton: wb bambers
  • [14:38] Dessie Linden always wanted a hole in her chest... :-P
  • [14:38] Alexa Linden: I will ping him and the rest of the dept.
  • [14:38] Zai Lynch: lol
  • [14:38] Youri Ashton: lol dessie
  • [14:38] Dessie Linden: sucking chest wound
  • [14:38] Drew Dwi carves one in Dessie
  • [14:38] Dessie Linden: sl-style
  • [14:39] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18364
  • [14:39] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18364] so far we have been unable to see the live media screens (except for the control panel above) on two different University systems (Ohio U and Shawnee State U) They work at home using Time-Warner
  • [14:39] Youri Ashton: could do it with the old style invisi prims, but that makes thinks look messy...
  • [14:39] Zai Lynch: they need to configure their firewall.... does anyone know the ports for SLPlugin?
  • [14:39] Dessie Linden: holy-moly... longest title ever!
  • [14:39] Zai Lynch: hehe
  • [14:39] Dirk Talamasca moves the hole in Dessie's head to her chest
  • [14:39] Dessie Linden: hey!
  • [14:39] Drew Dwi: they need to check to see if the urls work in their normal browser
  • [14:39] Dirk Talamasca: LOL
  • [14:40] Davy Linden: should this be contact support?
  • [14:40] Drew Dwi: and probably post a secondlife.log
  • [14:40] Alexa Linden: ya, I agree with davy
  • [14:40] Alexa Linden: contact support
  • [14:40] Drew Dwi: works for me ^^
  • [14:40] Dessie Linden: there is a similar issue having to do with the types of supported media
  • [14:40] Bambers Linden: +1
  • [14:40] Dessie Linden: and media players
  • [14:40] Alexa Linden: we get enough "my music stream doesn't work" type issues
  • [14:40] Dessie Linden: I just saw it yesterday
  • [14:40] Youri Ashton: agreed
  • [14:41] Alexa Linden: that often don't ahve to do with SL issues
  • [14:41] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18363
  • [14:41] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18363] Version 2 beta no longer works with VIrtual Audio Cable on Windows - eliminates various use cases for recording and machinima
  • [14:41] Zai Lynch: a virtual cable? o.O
  • [14:41] Zai Lynch: is that like a w-lan cable?
  • [14:41] Youri Ashton: think thats as well for support
  • [14:42] Youri Ashton: special cable zai
  • [14:42] Youri Ashton: not sure what its for... but oh well, support issue anyways
  • [14:42] Youri Ashton: :p
  • [14:42] Zai Lynch: ^^
  • [14:42] Drew Dwi: I don't see why/how viewer 2.0 would break that
  • [14:42] Alexa Linden: off to support it goes
  • [14:42] Bambers Linden: I know VAC
  • [14:42] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18357
  • [14:42] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18357] Limited (and possibly costly) Xstreet Functionality with web on a prim
  • [14:43] Bambers Linden: it's a driver type thing that lets you patch any one app's audio to any other app's input
  • [14:43] Bambers Linden: etc
  • [14:43] Dessie Linden: alexa - the other video issue is Bug EXT-6301
  • [14:43] Alexa Linden: ty
  • [14:43] Dessie Linden: I will link the two, okay?
  • [14:43] Alexa Linden: kk
  • [14:43] Bambers Linden: (and it's likely down to Virtual Audio Cable's developers to come up with a patch for their software)
  • [14:43] Drew Dwi: hrm
  • [14:44] Drew Dwi: 18357 should not be able to happen without some type of security issue
  • [14:44] Drew Dwi: unless they shared the computer, which should be fixed now since the cookies are per account not per viewer install
  • [14:44] Davy Linden: they say they were able 'to log in'
  • [14:44] Alexa Linden: now this could change with the changes that roll out to Xstreet
  • [14:44] Davy Linden: did they know the password?
  • [14:44] Youri Ashton: good Q davy
  • [14:44] Drew Dwi: there is no save my password for SL logins
  • [14:44] Youri Ashton: thinking the same thing
  • [14:44] Drew Dwi: so hmmm need more info
  • [14:44] Alexa Linden: it's the pop up windows
  • [14:45] Youri Ashton: think its again something for support
  • [14:45] Alexa Linden: I have talked to xstreet about this already
  • [14:45] Davy Linden: I'd like to know, step-by-step what they did
  • [14:45] Youri Ashton: think its a good idea to have more info indeed davy
  • [14:46] Alexa Linden: so I'll ask them if they want me to mark as under advisement
  • [14:46] Youri Ashton: hey ardy
  • [14:46] Davy Linden: did they (for example) log on as a friend who had previously been using the same pc?
  • [14:46] Zai Lynch: heyas ardy :)
  • [14:46] Alexa Linden: as it may come in the future when the whole purchasing process is streamlined
  • [14:46] Drew Dwi: yea, i'm w/davy we need more info
  • [14:46] Bambers Linden: +1
  • [14:46] Bambers Linden: step by step repro would be lovely if possible
  • [14:47] Drew Dwi: I got the transparent mini-map thing filed -> http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18396 and its linked to the FR
  • [14:47] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18396] Mini Map does not go transparent when not in focus
  • [14:47] Alexa Linden: next is https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18356
  • [14:47] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18356] Object search in about land is not showing group deeded object name's corectly
  • [14:47] Dessie Linden: thanks, drew
  • [14:47] Drew Dwi: this is expected behavior
  • [14:47] Youri Ashton: lol, just added i see
  • [14:47] Drew Dwi: in 1.23.x it shows (nobody) I think
  • [14:48] Youri Ashton: did you check your settings?
  • [14:48] Zai Lynch: the inspector part of this issue is already filed internally. dunno about the group name....
  • [14:48] Youri Ashton: im on 1.23.3 nighty, i see everything just fine on mini map
  • [14:48] Dessie Linden: zai - do you have the jira for that?
  • [14:48] Zai Lynch: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/EXT-6268
  • [14:48] Dessie Linden: darn... you're good!
  • [14:48] Zai Lynch: ^^
  • [14:49] Zai Lynch: only covers the inspector part tho. not the name part
  • [14:49] Dessie Linden: right - I'll link as related tho
  • [14:49] Zai Lynch nods
  • [14:50] Youri Ashton: lol, zaipedia turns into zaijira? :p
  • [14:50] Zai Lynch: lol
  • [14:50] Dessie Linden: lol
  • [14:50] Alexa Linden: ya, I'm not able to bring up what items on this parcel are set to group and who owns what
  • [14:51] Youri Ashton: just teasing a little zai :) you know i think very highly of you :)
  • [14:51] Drew Dwi: I feel like it never showed the group, need to double check in 1.23.x though
  • [14:51] Zai Lynch: you're not the land owner
  • [14:51] Zai Lynch: hehe ^_^;
  • [14:51] Alexa Linden: but I'm in god mode
  • [14:51] Alexa Linden: so for that I can pull the same results
  • [14:51] Youri Ashton: well, if you are alexa...
  • [14:51] Dessie Linden: gee, youri... those both sounded like compliments to me!
  • [14:51] Alexa Linden: and ya, I need to check on 1.23
  • [14:51] Dirk Talamasca: It always comes back as none in Estate tools in 1.23
  • [14:51] Youri Ashton: should it not be that you are invisible to us non lindens?
  • [14:52] Drew Dwi: thats what I thought Dirk, so this is expected behavior or really a FR for SVC-?
  • [14:52] Youri Ashton: kinda is dessie :)
  • [14:52] Alexa Linden: that's always been a linden-myth
  • [14:52] Drew Dwi: don't know if the server returns the actual group name, but guessing not
  • [14:52] Dessie Linden: you mean we're not really invisible on mapswhen in god mode?
  • [14:52] Youri Ashton: im affraid zai is the smartest in wiki for sure, and im affraid jira is no match for her either ;)
  • [14:52] Zai Lynch: nah, lindens in god mode are really hidden from sensors (in case they're in the same region)
  • [14:52] Zai Lynch: aawww ^_^ ty
  • [14:53] Dessie Linden: :-)
  • [14:53] Youri Ashton: well, if i understood right, when in godmode, no one is suppost to see yuour avi
  • [14:53] Youri Ashton: i see hers
  • [14:53] Dessie Linden: so we import this one, alexa?
  • [14:53] Youri Ashton: yw zai :)
  • [14:53] Dessie Linden: VWR-18356
  • [14:53] Alexa Linden: well did we decide this is more of a FR?
  • [14:53] Drew Dwi: yea this is FR and I think it will require a server change
  • [14:53] Dessie Linden: kk, go for it
  • [14:53] Drew Dwi: as I'm not sure the server sends the group name of the object
  • [14:54] Alexa Linden: FR it is!
  • [14:54] Dirk Talamasca: I think it is expected.. Even if you go to the object directly and return it. It asks if you want to return the object without stating the residents name. If you return an object other wise it will ask if you want to return items belonging to John Smith etc etc
  • [14:54] Alexa Linden: and this is the last issue for the day
  • [14:54] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-18354
  • [14:54] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-18354] Online Contacts available - Where are the Offline contacts?
  • [14:54] Zai Lynch: telling from his snapshot, it's a bug for him
  • [14:54] Youri Ashton: was wondering the same thing
  • [14:54] Zai Lynch: there's much broken in the snapshot...
  • [14:55] Dessie Linden: eww
  • [14:55] Youri Ashton: i dont see it either, but for some reason LL added a darned button for that
  • [14:55] Youri Ashton: o_0
  • [14:55] Youri Ashton: just keep it as it was i'd say
  • [14:55] Dirk Talamasca: Yeah this one is lame.. I have no offline contacts either and the top of my friends list has text overlay that shouldn't be there
  • [14:56] Youri Ashton: you always need someone that may be offline, how you ever get that person up if you cant see offline residents???
  • [14:56] Drew Dwi: I do...
  • [14:56] Drew Dwi: thats strange
  • [14:56] Davy Linden: dirk, could you add your specs, so we can try to spot a pattern?
  • [14:56] Zai Lynch: @Dirk: Do you have a recent tab? Or is that gone as well?
  • [14:56] Dirk Talamasca: I have a recent tab
  • [14:56] Youri Ashton: besides, not everyone actually messes with preferences etc
  • [14:56] Dessie Linden: another windows 7 one
  • [14:56] Dessie Linden: is that an older ati card?
  • [14:57] Drew Dwi: I am on windows 7 64bit, and have the proper tabs, something else is going on here
  • [14:57] Youri Ashton: so i think best kept as it is with option to make them "dissapear"
  • [14:57] Drew Dwi: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530 Series
  • [14:57] Drew Dwi: mobility arn't supported I don't think
  • [14:57] Alexa Linden: I like Windows 7!
  • [14:57] Dessie Linden: wait - 64-bit
  • [14:57] Alexa Linden: don't be haters
  • [14:57] Youri Ashton: im still stuck on vista :(
  • [14:57] Zai Lynch: Ubuntu FTW
  • [14:57] Dessie Linden: not a hater, just a not supporter :-P
  • [14:57] Dessie Linden: yet
  • [14:57] Alexa Linden pat pats poor Youri
  • [14:58] Youri Ashton: boehoehoe :p
  • [14:58] Dessie Linden: so alexa - the 64-bit may actually be part of the problem
  • [14:58] Dessie Linden: anybody here on 64-bit?
  • [14:58] Drew Dwi: don't think so
  • [14:58] Drew Dwi: i'm on 64bit
  • [14:58] Drew Dwi: no issue
  • [14:58] Alexa Linden: import this?
  • [14:58] Dessie Linden: hrm
  • [14:58] Youri Ashton: darned vista doesnt even get the full capability of this pc... ever
  • [14:58] Dessie Linden: sure
  • [14:58] Alexa Linden: I don't either
  • [14:58] Drew Dwi: my only guess is his install got messed up maybe
  • [14:58] Alexa Linden: and DING DING DING
  • [14:58] Zai Lynch: tho Dirk has it too
  • [14:58] Alexa Linden: that's it for today!
  • [14:58] Youri Ashton: think it needs to be tested and probably fixed
  • [14:59] Dirk Talamasca: What was the concensus on that one?
