The world map and mini-map

You can use the Second Life Viewer's world map and mini-map to help navigate and find new places in the Second Life world. For a detailed overview of these features, see |The world map and mini-map.

SLurls

A SLurl is a hyperlink to a Second Life location, and can be shared in the same way you might share a link to a web page. SLurls can direct Residents to a Second Life location from inside Second Life, or from an outside resource, like a webpage, email, or chat session. For more details about SLurls, see SLurls.
