MM Board

"MM Board" refers to a prize giving system designed to draw participating players, thus creating traffic.

The first original implementation was created by Lucky Designs, who created "Midnight Mania" - giving the popular name "MM" to the device.

The game involves a board which displays a prize. Participating avatars touch (or "slap") the board, adding to the number of participants displayed. If the "target" number of avatars is reached by midnight Second Life time, the prize is awarded. Optionally, the board may either reset at midnight, or may roll over to the next day. Normally, once the target number of avatars is reached, the board will be "locked down" and further players may not participate. The owner of the board may also choose to end the contest early.
