Severed link

The issue as it may or may not be called is severed link.I understand this issue of uploading photos,files and such need you to access your own file system.I notice when doing this to chose a photo to upload that a dos window was open on my desktop of windows XP.At the bottom there were two secondlife windows opened at once.I closed one and the link to secondlife was gone.Why do I need two windows opened at once?Know wonder I crash 3 times or more aday.There I thought it was because of 5 or 10 gestures missing notice in communications window on secondlife.The resourses this uses is 75% or more of my mem.hardisk and cpu.This has to be a bug in 18.2.0 version.I am testing 18.3 now.We will see.I have an idea on why some of these crashes happen as well.I am always connected to the internet it hardly ever goes down.Just a link severed at SecondLifes end I guess.This should prove interesting and challenging to fix,The Severed Link.
