If flash wont play cause you only installed though firefox or through the automated browser detection it wont work on SL2. To fix it you go to : http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/thankyou/?installer=Flash_Player_10_for_Windows_-_Other_Browsers and install that then restart SL2. Now you tube will play for me.
