  • [16:47 SLT] Rika Linden: Sakura isn't sure regarding a few days to a week in reference to due dates.
  • [16:47 SLT] Lexie Linden: The articles should not be over 500 words and it would be 1 or 2 per month while we "beta-test" this project

  • [16:48 SLT] Lexie Linden: I think 486 was the average word count on the 10 posts I checked recently
  • [16:48 SLT] Rika Linden: She said the KB is taking more time, which is true for JP.

  • [16:48 SLT] Lexie Linden: Its very understandable if other projects are keeping translators busy
  • [16:49 SLT] Rika Linden: Lexie, how many words do you think the KB articles have on average?
  • [16:49 SLT] Rika Linden: Is it more than 500?
  • [16:49 SLT] Lexie Linden: The three languages we are starting with are German, French and Japanese

  • [16:50 SLT] Lexie Linden: My guess would be 400-500
  • [16:50 SLT] Rika Linden: There are approximately 5 people translating the JP KB articles, she stated.

  • [16:51 SLT] Lexie Linden: So maybe we need to try to get more Japanese translators involved before we have more projects?

  • [17:09 SLT] Lexie Linden: If we do it in wiki..we can make it any way we like. If its a blog page..I am not sure yet
  • [17:09 SLT] Rika Linden: I think it'll look strange with a Japanese title, then the whole article in English....

  • [17:12 SLT] Rika Linden: no point of posting them in English I think?
  • [17:13 SLT] Lexie Linden: I think they would just be closed. No action unless it is something that is still good/important information that we can reopen later
  • [17:13 SLT] Rika Linden: Sakura is thinking there will be English AND Japanese titles mixed up all over if we don't translate the titles.
  • [17:13 SLT] Rika Linden: I was thinking that we won't post the non-translated articles at all?
