I have been in Second Life for almost a year. What began as an adventure has turned into an exploration of relationships. My pictures are a documentary of my experiences filtered through the emotions I've felt, and they also reflect a strong narrative influence. I make sense of my life through story and roleplaying. As I become part of different SL communities - Second Life Profiles, roleplaying sims, Flickr - my work changes to reflect my relationship to those communities. I also try to push boundaries with my art - I don't think I'm there yet, but I'm heading in that direction, as I learn to open myself up and try things in SL that I've only thought about and kept to myself before. I'm hoping to be a support for other women who want to discover themselves and become stronger.
