Hello, seems that you keep changing the 3D Max workaround page. 3D Max 2012 and 2013 aren't able to export meshes compatible for Second Life (not at 100%). Suggesting to not use the converter will result in confusion in most of users, as is happening already. Second Life uses COLLADA 1.4.0 (despite of the info saying that is compatible with COLLADA 1.4.1) so doesnt work correctly with FBX plugin/converter above of 2011.3.1 (wich cant be installed in newer versions than 3D Max 2011).
The issues are various. The meshes gives error at time to upload if they contain spaces on either meshes or material/textures names. The mesh can be uploaded but doesnt works properly when using more than one material ID per mesh. Thats why I wrote that on the wiki.
