I was wondering if [[llInstantMessage]] shouldn't be added to the list of the many ways to chat with others, but I guess that, from the perspective of how this section was organised, 'chat' was defined as ''two''-way communication, while [[llInstantMessage]] only provides programmatically one way — the recipient cannot reply back.
I guess that's why it is listed under {{c|LSL_Communications}} but not here?

Is instant messaging a 'type' of chat?

I was wondering if llInstantMessage shouldn't be added to the list of the many ways to chat with others, but I guess that, from the perspective of how this section was organised, 'chat' was defined as two-way communication, while llInstantMessage only provides programmatically one way — the recipient cannot reply back.

I guess that's why it is listed under LSL Communications but not here?
