Why the reverts?

We need to know why you reverted the edits of Rolig Loon. Reverts are used sparingly and always with some explanation as to why. Maybe you would like to take a look at LSL Portal Poetry Project. I for one have no problem with poetry, in moderation of course, in the articles and Haiku exemplifies moderation. I could guess that to be your reasoning but I really don't know, it could be person for all I know. We must discuss where we go from here. -- Strife (talk|contribs) 19:18, 12 April 2014 (PDT)

You seriously need an explanation as to why someone would revert edits on script documentation pages of additional text that serves no practical purpose, does not assist in readability, causes confusion for amateur scripters, wastes space on the page, necessitates editing every single LSL Portal page on the Wiki, and has no official purpose or standardization beyond a page created by a self-appointed, non-LL "wiki representative"? Can you justify making edits to all of these LSL Portal pages beyond a vague reasoning of making them "more accessible", which it does not? Nelson Jenkins 11:16, 14 April 2014 (PDT)
You seriously need an explanation as to why someone would revert edits...?
Yes - All reverts needs explanation. It keeps peoples feelings from being hurt. It avoids edit wars.
"wiki representative"
oooooooh scare quotes, taking the high road I see. I think you will find I'm actually quite an agreeable person and open to suggestions.
wastes space on the page
We can configure the section to be collapsed by default, like the Signature subsection.
serves no practical purpose
Like the Signature subsection? Like the function/event numbers?
causes confusion for amateur scripters
Really? You have asked amateur scripters? If you could get them to comment on or better still contribute to the documentation we would greatly appreciate it.
self-appointed, non-LL "wiki representative"
LL has a very las fair approach when it comes to the LSL Portal. In the LSL Portal's seven year history there has never been a discussion with LL about LSL Portal direction or layout. They rarely contribute content. More over, there appears to be no LL wiki representative. We can't even get LL to update the syntax highlighter for LSL. Don't take that to mean LL doesn't ban people from the wiki. The last person got perm banned for something I considered a simple misunderstanding of wiki etiquette.
necessitates editing every single [page]
There is no requirement nor expectation that you contribute to this frivolity, we are all volunteers, we all choose our projects.
Can you justify making [these] edits...? & does not assist in readability
^_^ It's an April Fools joke, it's spelled out in red in Category:Articles_in_need_of_haiku. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting anyone would actually take it seriously. Regardless, a major goal of the project was to encourage people to contribute to the wiki. You yourself went from having not contributed in the last 5 months to adding to User:Kireji_Haiku/How_to_deal_with_lists_in_LSL. I consider that a win. -- Strife (talk|contribs) 13:09, 14 April 2014 (PDT)
