I just wanted to add a note regarding my initial impressions of V2 and my subsequent rethinking.

Although V2 looks smart and seems slick, after only a couple of hours I found myself harassed and bamboozled. I tried again and again to get to grips with it but, to date have not managed to configure it in such a way that I can work with it without running into occasional frustrations. Even if those frustrations are only occasional they make simple tasks unbearably tiresome. I hope that in time V2 will become more like V1.23 (which I currently use happily) but with all the added goodies and some of the shiny black class and style that is/was so impressive. I intend no disrespect of Linden Labs or those who've worked so hard to code V2. I only seek to exclaim my more sober opinion regarding V2. It has many qualities but, it also has many floors. KB Seal misuse

This is a definite misuse of KB Seal. The KB Seal is for user pages that have been included in the KB, not for Linden pages to be flagged as being in the KB. The Seal clearly states "Although Linden Lab can't guarantee its accuracy, as part of the Knowledge Base it must meet high quality standards, and designated Reviewers must approve any changes. You can edit this article and make it better!" The problem is this article has been protected, only Administrators, Lindens and Translators can edit it. Good point! Backstory: it was gonna go in the LLO namespace but I believe it'll benefit from Resi contributions. Some weeks later, it's had "gel" time to stabilize. Now available for review! - on 2010-03-15 @ 11:37 AM Pacific
