Background

When I would go volunteer on an OI, I would always choose one of OI 3, 4 or 6. Occasionally, I would try to find a sparsely populated OI and go there. I noticed that I never went to certain OI's, even though they were there -- occasionally, I'd see people on them. Starting around April 2008 I began to ask the question, "which OI's are occupied at different times of day, if at all?"

Thus started my little excursion, my foray into answering this question. What started out as a quick and dirty little project turned into a very large one, and I was determined to keep it quiet for as long as I could.

The Basic Problem
