- [14:05] Bambers Linden: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Wednesday_Agenda
- [14:05] Yann Dufaux: i'm happi to see you Zen:)
- [14:05] Bambers Linden: new get-up, zen. Very nice
- [14:06] Zen Linden: danke

- [14:06] Squirrel Wood: deja vu :p
- [14:06] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-9974 - Snapshot: High-res snapshot results in 3 striped images or 9 tiled images
- [14:07] Bambers Linden: which is either a regression, or my search was rubbish
- [14:07] Zen Linden: i think we have something like this internally somewhere
- [14:08] Cummere Mayo: this is a regression. weve had this in the past
- [14:08] Gellan Glenelg: this looks similar to a 'glow' one we've seen recently
- [14:08] Bambers Linden: I'm sure I've seen it internally too. Alexa, can we check and re-test/reopen?
- [14:08] Yann Dufaux: i'm donwgrad to 1.23 pn yesterday, i think it is more stable of rc0
- [14:08] Techwolf Lupindo: Why is it that when I do a search for linux crash, I get 3,000 issues back on the jira? I think search is b0rked on there.
- [14:08] Latif Khalifa: VWR-9974 doesn't repro here
- [14:09] Alexa Linden: I can see if I can find an internal and tie to
- [14:09] Squirrel Wood: wants 1.23 rc1...
- [14:09] Bambers Linden: soon, my friends... sooooon....
- [14:10] Yann Dufaux: with correctif for symbole decimal? :)
- [14:10] Latif Khalifa: wants world peace and kindness towards man kind :D
- [14:10] Phillip Vought: just wants the winning lotto numbers
- [14:10] Latif Khalifa: lol
- [14:10] Latif Khalifa: about the same chance for both :P
- [14:10] Bambers Linden: Phillip - just use the version number
- [14:11] Moon Metty: :)
- [14:11] Phillip Vought: grins :)
- [14:11] Yann Dufaux: :)
- [14:11] Bambers Linden: we'll move to the next. Mark the last triaged and we'll try to repro internally?
- [14:11] Techwolf Lupindo: can't wait for 274648758
- [14:11] Alexa Linden: ok
- [14:11] Bambers Linden: :)
- [14:12] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13097
- [14:12] Bambers Linden: All transparency changes on an attachment not being reflected in viewer.
- [14:12] Yann Dufaux: ahaha yes i can confirm this!!
- [14:13] Latif Khalifa: related to VWR-12987 and about half dozen similar issues
- [14:14] Gellan Glenelg: I'm seeing it take several seconds to change but it does change
- [14:14] Techwolf Lupindo: I notice the fingers are spread out in the snapshot, it that a bug?
- [14:14] Bambers Linden: is the concensus import? Or is there a dupe we should look at first?
- [14:14] Bambers Linden: (checking VWR-12987)
- [14:14] Moon Metty: it could be serverside ...
- [14:15] Moon Metty: updates aren't coming through somehow
- [14:15] Latif Khalifa: i've seen llSetAlpha() changes not being visible until you alt-zoom
- [14:15] Latif Khalifa: Moon, never seen this one with 1.22
- [14:15] Bambers Linden: this is sounding more and more like import to me
- [14:15] Alexa Linden: ok
- [14:15] Alexa Linden: will do
- [14:15] Moon Metty: yes, investigate :)
- [14:15] Bambers Linden: the Edweard Muybridge bug
- [14:16] Bambers Linden: cheers
- [14:16] Yann Dufaux: I saw a goat that scare me, at the of party community transator:)
- [14:16] Bambers Linden: bonus point for who can tell me what Muybridge is famous for
- [14:16] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12877
- [14:16] Bambers Linden: alpha bug in 1.22
- [14:16] Bambers Linden: this is already in....
- [14:17] Bambers Linden: (checks his search criteria)
- [14:17] Gellan Glenelg: the "UI on clothing" is def. a dupe
- [14:17] Yann Dufaux: i notice this, if i have more lag
- [14:17] Cummere Mayo: um was he the photographer that did the extreme closeips?
- [14:17] Zen Linden: Driver bug on nvidia cards
- [14:18] Bambers Linden: aah, already in then Zen?
- [14:18] Bambers Linden: Cummere - he was a photographer, but not that guy
- [14:18] Zen Linden: yep
- [14:18] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12987 - Poseball Hiding and *Some* changes made by other residents are not visible until camera is zoomed.
- [14:18] Zen Linden: it's in
- [14:18] Bambers Linden: then we can check this one (which we just peeked at as related)
- [14:18] Cummere Mayo: *shrugs* the only other guess was the ne that did all the nude crowds
- [14:19] Squirrel Wood: I would assume its anything that does not trigger a full prim update
- [14:19] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13124 - Uninstalling the 1.23 RC can result in all chatlogs being deleted as well if logging is left to default location
- [14:20] Cummere Mayo: I havent tried to repo that. i find that kinda scarey though...
- [14:20] Cummere Mayo: *hugs her chatlogs*
- [14:20] Moon Metty: i didn't try it either
- [14:21] Dirk Talamasca: Can always resolve it as Refuse To Repro
- [14:21] Bambers Linden: heh
- [14:21] Moon Metty: hehehe
- [14:21] Harleen Gretzky: lol
- [14:21] Alexa Linden: you try... no you try......
- [14:21] Latif Khalifa: lol
- [14:22] Cummere Mayo: i vote import to qa and let THEM try?
- [14:22] Bambers Linden: ok, should we import this as "we'll try"?
- [14:22] Alexa Linden: deal :p
- [14:22] Zen Linden: yup
- [14:22] Bambers Linden: Alexa, please assign to the grumpiest member of the QA team this week
- [14:23] Squirrel Wood: uninstall tends to remove the folders so naturally to do such it has to take care of any stray files i them
- [14:23] Cummere Mayo: haha
- [14:23] Alexa Linden: lol
- [14:23] Moon Metty: lol
- [14:23] Cummere Mayo: evil.... I like it!
- [14:23] Bambers Linden: ok, we'll import. Next!
- [14:23] Zen Linden: suggest we give said qa member a laptop and tell him to go to grumpy's (bar near here)
- [14:24] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12968 - Disabled popups will become active again on relog
- [14:24] Moon Metty: heh!
- [14:24] Latif Khalifa: VWR-12968 has comment saying its a known issue and being worked on
- [14:24] Bambers Linden: heh - they'll all go
- [14:24] Cummere Mayo: hey it might get fixed if they all go and are able to have a good time
- [14:24] Bambers Linden: this is - we can ask if it still repros in RC1 (when it hits the ground)
- [14:25] Alexa Linden: I'll see if soemone can track down the internal one on that for me
- [14:25] Yann Dufaux: i have observer this after two restart of sl
- [14:25] Bambers Linden: you mean if they stop breaking the viewer?
- [14:25] Bambers Linden: :)
- [14:25] Latif Khalifa: haha
- [14:25] Bambers Linden: thanks Alexa. You rool
- [14:25] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12080 - Meta-Issue: Issues with ATI Catalyst 7.12-9.4
- [14:26] Bambers Linden: oh noes - I included a meta issue
- [14:26] Latif Khalifa: haha
- [14:26] Cummere Mayo: you included two
- [14:26] Cummere Mayo: lol
- [14:26] Bambers Linden: out of scope. sorry - my bad
- [14:26] Alexa Linden: ooph!
- [14:26] Bambers Linden: d'oh!!!
- [14:26] Yann Dufaux: yik
- [14:26] Cummere Mayo: vote we import them both though cuase i dont think either were
- [14:26] Techwolf Lupindo: Good. Maybe all the ATI user can get a break for once. ;-) I use nvidia to avoid that problem.
- [14:26] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13085 - Alt+Zoom to an avatar isn't zooming to the cursor position as intended
- [14:26] Moon Metty: oh yes
- [14:27] Moon Metty: i just discovered it's not always too low
- [14:27] Moon Metty: i'll update after the meeting
- [14:27] Dirk Talamasca: It is unpredictable
- [14:27] Bambers Linden: this is def internal actually
- [14:28] Moon Metty: ,
- [14:28] Dirk Talamasca: Yeah PN said camera was hosed when it was released.. Big red box.. CAMERA IS HOSED
- [14:28] Moon Metty: sorry my connection went down
- [14:29] Bambers Linden: yeah, there are some camera issues to correct
- [14:29] Moon Metty: i didn't crash O_O
- [14:29] Bambers Linden: breathes a sigh of relief
- [14:29] Bambers Linden: so mark as dupe?
- [14:29] Dirk Talamasca: Yeah I was real worried too
- [14:29] Alexa Linden: dup of?
- [14:29] Bambers Linden: oh, you want me to do work? damn
- [14:30] Alexa Linden: lol
- [14:30] Alexa Linden: we can do after
- [14:30] Cummere Mayo: lol theres several similar ones i think. I am pretty sure theres an identical one from the 1.21 days...
- [14:30] Dirk Talamasca: slackers
- [14:30] Bambers Linden: heh
- [14:30] Moon Metty: my connection is bad, i can only follow parts ...
- [14:30] Dirk Talamasca: lol
- [14:30] Cummere Mayo: up my stipend i'll go looking for it for you
- [14:31] Cummere Mayo: giggles mostly kidding
- [14:31] Bambers Linden: :) I'll track it down
- [14:31] Bambers Linden: next
- [14:31] Yann Dufaux: Aiie :)
- [14:31] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13110 - Lighting > Only 2 lights visible when "Basic Shaders" are active.
- [14:31] Cummere Mayo: VWR-7237 is one it kinda dupes
- [14:32] Zen Linden: i think that's by design
- [14:32] Cummere Mayo: also VWR-6788
- [14:32] Zen Linden: 7300 is a really low end card and can't hanlde that many lights when shaders are on
- [14:32] Bambers Linden: ask them if it repros in 1.22 release? Or did the expected behaviour change in 1.23?
- [14:33] Zen Linden: it causes the shader instruction limit to be met, so we had to lower the number of lights, iirc
- [14:33] Zen Linden: should repro in 1.22
- [14:33] Zen Linden: if not, then, hmm
- [14:33] Bambers Linden: NMI - does it repro in release version. If no, we should take a look.
- [14:34] Zen Linden: yup
- [14:34] Bambers Linden: sound fair?
- [14:34] Bambers Linden: ok
- [14:34] Bambers Linden: next:
- [14:34] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-10112 - Regularly, but intermittently, being logged out...
- [14:34] Harleen Gretzky: HIs comment says in 1.22 he only had to disable atmo shaders, in 1.23 he has to also disable basic shaders
- [14:35] Cummere Mayo: god i hate that :-/
- [14:35] Squirrel Wood: suggest graphics card upgrade.
- [14:35] Cummere Mayo: gets that time to time always at the worst possible time
- [14:35] Bambers Linden: a regular, intermittent log out?
- [14:36] Cummere Mayo: yep
- [14:36] Latif Khalifa: sounds like network problems
- [14:36] Moon Metty: i've been logged out like that several times
- [14:36] Cummere Mayo: i suspect its actally a svr isue
- [14:36] Cummere Mayo: *issue
- [14:36] Yann Dufaux: i need to upgrqad mine for 9800gtx of 512mb i hope i can't active my shadow after :)
- [14:36] Cummere Mayo: its NOT my connection
- [14:36] Moon Metty: at the time my connection was normal
- [14:36] Squirrel Wood: according to rumors there might be broken animations that eventually cause the client to crash/disconnect.... but those are rumors.
- [14:36] Latif Khalifa: Cummere, network problem does not have to be on your end :)
- [14:37] Latif Khalifa: sims have plenty of network issues on their own
- [14:37] Dirk Talamasca: I always get it just before I am about to send a huge and topic timely paragraph into a group chat
- [14:37] Alexa Linden: lol
- [14:37] Cummere Mayo: i can have two chars logged in and one willg et bumped even with no loss and the other wont
- [14:37] Bambers Linden: heh
- [14:37] Latif Khalifa: In the same sim?
- [14:37] Cummere Mayo: yeah
- [14:38] Cummere Mayo: btu if they are close to eachother in the same sim they can sometimes both be bumped
- [14:38] Moon Metty: hard to catch this one
- [14:38] Bambers Linden: yeah - if this is true we need solid repro steps
- [14:39] Alexa Linden: nmi - repro steps?
- [14:39] Cummere Mayo: I cant give you a solid one
- [14:39] Moon Metty: lol
- [14:39] Bambers Linden: or a sufficiently compelling reason to suspect internal network issues
- [14:39] Moon Metty: repro: log in
- [14:39] Cummere Mayo: i dont think its network either
- [14:39] Phillip Vought: I do wonder if this is just UDP doing what UDP does
- [14:39] Bambers Linden: cummere - if you login with 2 avs are you on the same machine using --multiple?
- [14:39] Cummere Mayo: tried it btoh ways
- [14:39] Cummere Mayo: two machines and one machine multiple
- [14:40] Bambers Linden: ok, wondering if you could be seeing something else
- [14:40] Cummere Mayo: doesnt make a differance
- [14:40] Bambers Linden: cool
- [14:40] Cummere Mayo: what DOES make a differance
- [14:40] Cummere Mayo: is agent numbers
- [14:40] Latif Khalifa: the more people in the sim, the more often you get disconnected?
- [14:40] Cummere Mayo: lots of agents in a small area (like here) doing lots of stuff at one time seems to up it. especially if multiple agents are in group chats
- [14:40] Bambers Linden: yeah, I think trying to nail down a repro is the way to go I'm afraid
- [14:41] Alexa Linden: ok
- [14:41] Cummere Mayo: so i suspect its a glitch or an overload in the way the sim handles tracking agents
- [14:41] Moon Metty: well, fortunately it doesn't happen that often
- [14:42] Bambers Linden: I'd like it if the summary made a touch more sense
- [14:42] Bambers Linden: ok, next up?
- [14:42] Moon Metty: yup
- [14:42] Cummere Mayo: i'd bet money if they ever fix svc-2708 that this bug gets fixed too
- [14:43] Bambers Linden: Still no Eardweard Muybridge..? Horses?
- [14:43] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11420 - Objects are removed from viewer memory too aggressively
- [14:43] Alexa Linden: this is dan's
- [14:44] Bambers Linden: looks like he's after more info then
- [14:44] Phillip Vought: I cheated.. Edward created the first pictures of a horse in motion
- [14:44] Phillip Vought: [1]
- [14:44] Alexa Linden: lol
- [14:44] Alexa Linden: winner!
- [14:45] Dirk Talamasca: may the horse be with you
- [14:45] Dakota Schwade: Which proved that SL can have all four servers off the ground, simultaneously :-)
- [14:45] Bambers Linden: bingo - he figured out where a horses legs were at any given point. Which our viewer seems to have a problem with according to https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13097
- [14:45] Dirk Talamasca: nice segway
- [14:45] Moon Metty: ohh
- [14:45] Bambers Linden: ;)
- [14:46] Phillip Vought: dont encourage him.. he thinks he has a sense of hunour :P
- [14:46] Phillip Vought: n==m
- [14:46] Bambers Linden: does anyone have more info for dan's memory / texture bug?
- [14:46] Bambers Linden: Or should we move on
- [14:46] Moon Metty: no, just that it happens
- [14:46] Alexa Linden: last triaged on his?
- [14:47] Bambers Linden: (the rumours of my sense of humour have been wildly exaggerated)
- [14:47] Yann Dufaux: heya Saij! sorry i don't see you after:)
- [14:47] Moon Metty: heehee
- [14:47] Latif Khalifa: funny he says don't set video ram to more than 512mb, which is impossible anyway
- [14:47] Cummere Mayo: ow is that impossible?
- [14:47] Cummere Mayo: *how
- [14:47] Latif Khalifa: its artificially limited to 512
- [14:48] Bambers Linden: dan's a magic man
- [14:48] Latif Khalifa: lindes explained once why, i forgot :P
- [14:48] Cummere Mayo: uh theres plenty of patches to get around that ll limit.
- [14:48] Yann Dufaux: Latif i limite mine to 256mb in hardware option .. but i have 1024mb
- [14:48] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13081 - Avatar skin intermittently becomes 100% transpatent
- [14:48] Latif Khalifa: i think it was zen
- [14:48] Bambers Linden: it's always zen
- [14:49] Zen Linden: yeah, it's limited to 512
- [14:49] Dirk Talamasca: can't fix what isn't supported
- [14:49] Yann Dufaux: oh!!!!!! hallowenn av moon? :)
- [14:49] Zen Linden: got rid of some driver issues
- [14:49] Cummere Mayo: has 512 on her card. when on her sisters machine she has 512 in all four cards
- [14:49] Moon Metty: sshhh, i'm thinking
- [14:49] Zen Linden: wow a geforce 4400!
- [14:49] Yann Dufaux: let me find the picture i past on this jira :D
- [14:49] Latif Khalifa: my nvidia gtx-260 has 890mb ram
- [14:49] Alexa Linden: cousin it
- [14:50] Yann Dufaux: Zen, i have used an radon 9250 pro, with sl 1.20, when muy 7600gs are burned! :(
- [14:50] Bambers Linden: Are we still on memory limits for the texture aggressiveness bug?
- [14:51] Zen Linden: hehe
- [14:51] Alexa Linden: no, avatar skin transparent bug
- [14:51] Moon Metty: i think it's the same as VWR-12906
- [14:51] Moon Metty: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12906
- [14:51] Cummere Mayo: i have seen it but cant reliabl repo it
- [14:51] Latif Khalifa: yeah looks like dupe, and VWR-12906 is already imported
- [14:52] Bambers Linden: dupe
- [14:52] Alexa Linden: yup
- [14:52] Alexa Linden: thanks moon
- [14:52] Bambers Linden: cool next
- [14:53] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13010 - Alt+Cam on an avatar causes the camera view to be abutply pointed skyward
- [14:53] Bambers Linden: hmmm
- [14:53] Cummere Mayo: isn't that one another dupe of one we already looked at today as a dupe of others?
- [14:53] Bambers Linden: shall we skip?
- [14:53] Bambers Linden: yes, I think you're right
- [14:53] Moon Metty: mmm
- [14:54] Moon Metty: i've seen the camera go skyward, but not very often
- [14:54] Latif Khalifa: wonders how come camera gets broken every RC cycle :P
- [14:55] Bambers Linden: likewise - could be megaprim related, and I think it's already internal somewhere
- [14:55] Moon Metty: i'll do some tests later :)
- [14:55] Bambers Linden: Latif - everyones camera seems to break after a vacation.
- [14:55] Cummere Mayo: I wonder that too latif...
- [14:55] Techwolf Lupindo: My camers goes skyward when enting or leaving mouselook, but this is with 1.22.11
- [14:56] Yann Dufaux: https://jira.secondlife.com/secure/attachment/23699/avatar+of+(Halloween).png <= added picture :)
- [14:57] Bambers Linden: ok. I'm sure it's adupe but we'll have to find the relevant issue
- [14:57] Bambers Linden: 3 minutes....
- [14:57] Techwolf Lupindo: I see a grid watch hud, is that aviable?
- [14:57] Dakota Schwade: Simon Kline sells that.
- [14:57] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13095 - Transparent Avatars when using Models on the JVA Software & other similar software.
- [14:58] Moon Metty: another version of the transparent avatars
- [14:58] Moon Metty: ,
- [14:58] Cummere Mayo: yeah
- [14:58] Cummere Mayo: plus bot abuse to boot >.>
- [14:58] Latif Khalifa: i get transparent avatar when they teleport in since 1.20
- [14:58] Yann Dufaux: the grid watch are very nice :D
- [14:59] Latif Khalifa: until alt-zooming past them
- [14:59] Latif Khalifa: i really wish that was fixed
- [14:59] Bambers Linden: would someone turn Yann over? That side's done
- [14:59] Alexa Linden: system info would be nice
- [14:59] Bambers Linden: would help. Would that be same issue as the avatars though?
- [15:00] Zen Linden: quite possibly
- [15:00] Zen Linden: NMI
- [15:00] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:00] Bambers Linden: a location would be helpful too
- [15:00] Cummere Mayo: 13137 is yet another dupe of the invitisble avi too
- [15:00] Bambers Linden: or steps to repro so we can see how the models are done
- [15:00] Cummere Mayo: *vwr
- [15:01] Cummere Mayo: easy fix: Hire non-bbot models
- [15:01] Latif Khalifa: Do you guys see only prim attachments when an avi teleports in?
- [15:01] Bambers Linden: heh
- [15:01] Cummere Mayo: >.>
- [15:01] Latif Khalifa: bots have lower carbon footprint :)
