- [15:03] McCabe Maxsted: rubs paws together
- [15:03] Bridie Linden: First up...
- [15:03] Bridie Linden: VWR-8605[c
- [15:04] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8605
- [15:04] Gellan Glenelg: as harleen says, I suspect this is due to https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8606 (the coordinates are missing)
- [15:05] Bridie Linden: is looking
- [15:05] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:06] norritt Xi: I had that problem as well I rememmber
- [15:06] norritt Xi: -m
- [15:06] Cummere Mayo: so link as possible cause?
- [15:06] Bridie Linden: Let's wait on importing 8605 then
- [15:06] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:06] Object: Glod: Sarts for all!
- [15:06] Harleen Gretzky: Import 8606 instead?
- [15:06] Bridie Linden: grins
- [15:06] Object: No: more Glod Sarts for you!
- [15:06] Cummere Mayo: lol
- [15:06] Object: Glod: Sarts for all!
- [15:06] Bridie Linden: 8606 is imported
- [15:07] Harleen Gretzky: ahh
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: # VWR-8513[c
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: squints @ McCabe
- [15:07] Zen Linden: lol
- [15:07] Bridie Linden: j/k
- [15:07] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:07] Cummere Mayo: 8606 is imported harleen lol
- [15:07] norritt Xi: How about hanging the color?
- [15:07] norritt Xi: *changing
- [15:07] Selena Beale: well.. let's see.. change it?
- [15:07] Alexa Linden: I like hanging better
- [15:07] Gellan Glenelg: If it's user-configuarable, I don't see the point of changing the default
- [15:07] norritt Xi: LOL
- [15:07] Selena Beale: yeah.. both are good ideas..
- [15:07] McCabe Maxsted: this is a problem with orange object chat and the new blue chat; the default colors are too dark. Dark text on a dark background = not ftw
- [15:07] Cummere Mayo: giggles probably should be feature request
- [15:08] Object: No: more Glod Sarts for you!
- [15:08] norritt Xi: Yeah I got a new keyboard three days ago I need some time to get used to it =)
- [15:08] McCabe Maxsted: eh, good defaults are important
- [15:08] norritt Xi: So sorry in advance for the typos
- [15:08] Bridie Linden: np norritt
- [15:08] Cummere Mayo: nto arguing with that mccabe. but i think import as feature request...
- [15:08] Zen Linden: good defaults are important, but yeah, this is a feature request
- [15:08] Bridie Linden: agreed...
- [15:08] Shibari Twine: I like the orange but hate the blue, but why change the defaults. Feature request though
- [15:08] McCabe Maxsted: you can really see it when you open the chat history in the classic skin
- [15:08] Bridie Linden: shall we see if it gains more votes?
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: I can ask someone from Rx to weigh in...
- [15:09] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:09] Nya Linden: sounds good.
- [15:09] Selena Beale: Well.. they could just change it?
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: Cool.
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: I couldn't repro next one...
- [15:09] Cummere Mayo: i had to change it. I coudlnt SEE the oarnge in half the rp sims i played in
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: VWR-8772[c
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8772
- [15:10] norritt Xi: Hi Garn!
- [15:10] Shibari Twine: I tried just before coming and could still repo, it took 6 clicks
- [15:10] Shibari Twine: then missed two
- [15:10] Bridie Linden: lemme try again
- [15:10] Bridie Linden: Hiya Garn!
- [15:10] Garn Conover: hewwo!
- [15:10] Garn Conover: what # we @?
- [15:10] Cummere Mayo: 8772 garn
- [15:10] Bridie Linden: ah, just repro'd!
- [15:11] Shibari Twine: good
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: Thx for tips McCabe + Shibari
- [15:11] Object: Glod: Sarts for all!
- [15:11] McCabe Maxsted: repro doesn't seem consistent but it'st here
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: Import, please
- [15:11] Alexa Linden: k
- [15:11] Cummere Mayo: as mccabe said. i get it too intermittantly
- [15:11] Object: No: more Glod Sarts for you!
- [15:11] Gellan Glenelg: I'm wondering if it'sa problem with that floater, or a general problem with missing mouse clicks
- [15:11] Cummere Mayo: hiya mina
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: Good question Gellan...
- [15:11] Shibari Twine: be nice if it stomps the missing clicks
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: VWR-8577 has been imported
- [15:12] Gellan Glenelg: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8577 is what we observed on aditi - missing mouse clicks all over the place after the lsl touch functions were added
- [15:12] Minakothegothicgeisha Kamachi: Hello Cummere-chan.
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: hmm, but we appear not to have been able to repro internally..
- [15:13] Bridie Linden: Alexa, let's be sure to link these 2 up
- [15:13] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:13] Gellan Glenelg: odd, cos Vektor was complaining about it, a lot
- [15:13] Bridie Linden: But not sure if the 2 are related...
- [15:13] Cummere Mayo: allot of the bugs ive seen in the 1.21 dont repo consistantly... its goign to make it hard to find them. they repo intermittantly *shrugs*
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: We're on 1.24 here...
- [15:14] Zen Linden: server that is
- [15:14] Zen Linden: :)
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: yes
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: thx Zen
- [15:14] Cummere Mayo: I say link, but import this one as well...
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: yup
- [15:14] Selena Beale: THat would be a good idea, since you were able to repo it here.. right?
- [15:15] Bridie Linden: Moving right along...
- [15:15] Bridie Linden: and just in case I haven't said it before, many thx to our BSI folks reporting issues
- [15:15] Bridie Linden: VWR-8516[c
- [15:15] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8516
- [15:16] Bridie Linden: Didn't someone mention that text was now wrapping for him/her now?
- [15:16] Shibari Twine: is that jpg in the report an XP "feature" as the mac looks the same as it always has, none of the per line shading
- [15:16] Selena Beale: Yes, it does wrap now
- [15:16] Gellan Glenelg: that was me, bridie
- [15:16] Cummere Mayo: it does wrap usually now
- [15:16] Bridie Linden: Wrapping too early or ok?
- [15:16] Gellan Glenelg: still a problem for you mccabe?
- [15:17] Harleen Gretzky: The Restore Down bug causes it to wrap early until you reset your settings file
- [15:17] Bridie Linden: looks @ McCabe
- [15:17] Harleen Gretzky: TO me it just looks like ConsoleBackgroundOpacity is defaulting too high
- [15:17] McCabe Maxsted: I'd resolve as wont' finish
- [15:17] McCabe Maxsted: the default chat background was changed to be darker in 1.21 which was causing huds to be unreadable on teh right when a lot of chat was scrolling; it's not much ofa problem now that the chat area has been reverted
- [15:18] Shibari Twine: that didnt wrap
- [15:18] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:18] Cummere Mayo: nope didnt wrap for me either
- [15:18] Selena Beale: It is fixed now?
- [15:18] Bridie Linden: which build are you using?
- [15:19] Bridie Linden: McCabe reproted with 1.21.0.93713
- [15:19] Cummere Mayo: (94985)
- [15:19] Shibari Twine: is on Mac 1.21.0 (94985)
- [15:19] McCabe Maxsted: hehe well less broken than before; unless you're on a widescreen rounded_square.tga will cover whatever hud you have on the right
- [15:19] McCabe Maxsted: the issue was when the transparency was chagned to one too dark
- [15:20] McCabe Maxsted: (rounded_square.tga is the background of the chat text inworld, btw)
- [15:20] Selena Beale: That is good to know *nods* hmm...
- [15:20] Alexa Linden: smiles at Panda McCabe
- [15:20] Bridie Linden: So how'd it look to you Cummere?
- [15:21] Cummere Mayo: honestly please import this. I dodnt usually have a hud on that slot but when i do it still soemtimes gets covered
- [15:21] Cummere Mayo: its bad enough i cant see the one on the lower left at all without the box open
- [15:21] Alexa Linden: rx?
- [15:21] Garn Conover: my radars on top because it was always getting covered
- [15:21] Simon Kline: it didn't wrap for me on the nightly viewer but remember it being fine on 1.20
- [15:21] Selena Beale: uses chat boxes anyway and is use to moving things around
- [15:21] Bridie Linden: Could someone add some more screen shots first?
- [15:22] Bridie Linden: +1 Selena ;)
- [15:22] Bridie Linden: Let's keep moving
- [15:22] Cummere Mayo: ok if i find soem mythological free time, ill add antoehr screen
- [15:22] Simon Kline: this is some long text to se can get a screenshot of how it doesn't wrap anymore!! this is some long text to se can get a screenshot of how it doesn't wrap anymore!! this is some long text to se can get a screenshot of how it doesn't wrap anymore!! this is some long text to se can get a screenshot of how it doesn't wrap anymore!!
- [15:22] Bridie Linden: The next one has been imported and will be fixed in later build...
- [15:23] Bridie Linden: Nice Simon!
- [15:23] norritt Xi: e
- [15:23] Alexa Linden: lol
- [15:23] Simon Kline: (sorry) heh
- [15:23] Bridie Linden: np
- [15:23] Bridie Linden: next up
- [15:23] Garn Conover: lol Simon
- [15:23] Bridie Linden: VWR-8742[c
- [15:23] Selena Beale: giggles "Umm.. why? make them smaller, then move them around, love keeping my mouse moving anyways"
- [15:23] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8742
- [15:23] Cummere Mayo: blinks "i didnt see a dev on that when i added it..."
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: Np
- [15:24] Gellan Glenelg: I can't repro this :( not sure if it's any use to see the action / crash log. if so, import
- [15:24] McCabe Maxsted: another hard to repro one :/
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: Yeah...
- [15:24] Cummere Mayo: hard to repo and intermitant but i swear this is there
- [15:24] norritt Xi: Yeah it is hard to repro but I had the Public Nightly crashing several times on clicking an URL too recently
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: I think we should keep this one open...see if others can repro before we import
- [15:24] Bridie Linden: I'll add myself as a watcher
- [15:25] Cummere Mayo: norrit will you comment on that one please?
- [15:25] norritt Xi: So I can tell as well that it is there.
- [15:25] Alexa Linden: I'll mark with the traiged date
- [15:25] Alexa Linden: triaged*
- [15:25] Bridie Linden: Thx
- [15:25] Object: Glod: Sarts for all!
- [15:25] Harleen Gretzky: Restore Down bug that causes your chat to wrap early: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1279
- [15:25] Object: No: more Glod Sarts for you!
- [15:25] Object: Glod: Sarts for all!
- [15:25] Object: No: more Glod Sarts for you!
- [15:25] Alexa Linden: that thing hords sarts :(
- [15:25] norritt Xi: I can do but I can't provide much more information then what has already been stated
- [15:25] Bridie Linden: Thx Harleen
- [15:25] Bridie Linden: norritt are you on Windows?
- [15:26] norritt Xi: Yes Xp Sp2
- [15:26] Garn Conover: Harleen
- [15:26] Bridie Linden: kk
- [15:26] Garn Conover: im on the RC .14 and that bug has stopepd for me as of last week
- [15:26] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:26] Bridie Linden: VWR-8784[c
- [15:26] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8784
- [15:27] DreamE Dreamscape: I'm on a Imac too, 6 months new, the only issue I had was resolved 2 months back and that was when uploading a photo the SL client would crash
- [15:27] norritt Xi: Okay if we cut the advertising out the statement is " Client crashing in hight load environments"
- [15:27] Simon Kline: i crashed earlier when more than 10 ppl turned up here.. but logged in ok again
- [15:27] Gellan Glenelg: ask for a crash report?
- [15:27] Zen Linden: Hmmm...
- [15:27] Cummere Mayo: pretty much
- [15:27] norritt Xi: I think that could be related to your "Change view and flight direction quickly" crash Cummere?
- [15:27] Bridie Linden: Yeah...
- [15:27] Cummere Mayo: I cannot play cola in the currant nightly .... it wont stay on
- [15:27] Bridie Linden: link?
- [15:28] Cummere Mayo: very possibly
- [15:28] norritt Xi: Basically the problem seems to occur when the client can't catch up with the calculations any more
- [15:28] Bridie Linden: feels like that sometimes ;)
- [15:28] Cummere Mayo: which for some reasonson seems to occur sooner now then before
- [15:28] norritt Xi: I'm on a Q6700 here and I couldn't repro these crashes
- [15:28] Zen Linden: hmm... takes 2.5/3 hrs?
- [15:29] norritt Xi: Prolly because I just can't produce enough load here
- [15:29] Zen Linden: ooh 5 min
- [15:29] Zen Linden: at hair fair
- [15:29] Alexa Linden: hahahahaha
- [15:29] Cummere Mayo: 2.5 hours is how long he can run same place with the .20
- [15:29] norritt Xi: Yeah Hair Fair must have been a mess
- [15:29] McCabe Maxsted: 1.21 crashing after 3 or so is fairly normal...
- [15:29] Bridie Linden: Let's see if others can repro this one...
- [15:29] Ellla McMahon: updated comment on that issue .. please refresh
- [15:29] Alexa Linden: ya but I saw someone there with a 12K ARC rating O.o
- [15:29] norritt Xi: My girlfriend was there and finally they asked visitors to undress to reduce the lag XD
- [15:29] Cummere Mayo: in low load envrionments i can run .21 almost indefinately
- [15:29] Prospero Linden: niiiice
- [15:30] Zen Linden: i'm leaning towards importing and having qa see if they can repro on an 8600.
- [15:30] Cummere Mayo: in highload 5-30 min 30 if im VERY lucky
- [15:30] Bridie Linden: Hi Prospero!
- [15:30] Zen Linden: Cogs might be able to help with that
- [15:30] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:30] Prospero Linden: Hey -- thought I'd drop by and lurk :)
- [15:30] Zen Linden: hey Prospero!
- [15:30] Alexa Linden: I'll import then?
- [15:30] Zen Linden: yeah
- [15:30] Alexa Linden: assign to........
- [15:30] Cummere Mayo: lurk away
- [15:30] Bridie Linden: Sure, QA Team
- [15:30] Garn Conover: pounces and facewashes Prospero
- [15:30] Zen Linden: see if cogs is interested
- [15:30] Alexa Linden: k
- [15:30] Zen Linden: he helped with one of these types before
- [15:30] Bridie Linden: Thx
- [15:31] Bridie Linden: takes it as a good sign that Prospero Linden has shown up...
- [15:31] Cummere Mayo: sorry for trumping the .20 but it seemed lie .21 was building up allot of bugs and yall want rc0 out soon
- [15:31] McCabe Maxsted: possibly related to https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8340 too?
- [15:31] Cummere Mayo: *like
- [15:32] Bridie Linden: Possibly McCabe...
- [15:32] Zen Linden: well, we're going to see a LOT of crashes with gl debugging turned on for now
- [15:32] Bridie Linden: link?
- [15:32] Bridie Linden: Con't Zen!
- [15:32] Harleen Gretzky: had to turn of GL debugging to even use 1.21
- [15:32] Shibari Twine: I've had one crash in two days heavy use :/
- [15:33] Cummere Mayo: I'll try turning it off to see if that helps let me add myslef as a watcher to that issue
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: BTW, next one is already imported and will be addressed in future build
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: (#
- # VWR-8738[c] Votes: 1: - Crash when Advanced->Rendering->Info Displays-> Show Depth Buffer selected - Opensource Obscure )
- [15:33] Zen Linden: hehe. We've been getting some REALLY good crash stacks from doing it though
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: Zen did you want to say anything further about the process...
- [15:34] Cummere Mayo: hmmm I couldnt find that in my menu
- [15:34] Cummere Mayo: still cant
- [15:34] Garn Conover: brb
- [15:34] Zen Linden: basically it crashes when gl gets wonky instead of recovering. We're hoping to find more places where
- [15:34] Harleen Gretzky: In [3] Ramzi explains how to turn it off
- [15:34] Opensource Obscure: Show Depth Buffer has been removed in last release if i'm right
- [15:34] Zen Linden: we're using GL incorrectly
- [15:35] Shibari Twine: I read it was removed too
- [15:35] Zen Linden: it's arguably one of the best things we're getting from BSI right now
- [15:35] Zen Linden: but yeah, you crash more with it on
- [15:35] Bridie Linden: So we can expect a little more (intentional) crashiness in 1.21 RC0 when it's available?
- [15:35] Zen Linden: but the info is invaluable to us
- [15:35] Zen Linden: yep
- [15:35] McCabe Maxsted: always suspected there was some sort of crashing conspiracy going on! ;)
- [15:35] Cummere Mayo: then um i vote clsoe, wont complete?
- [15:35] norritt Xi: Well I crash at once with that
- [15:35] norritt Xi: Takes about 2 minutes and I'm gone
- [15:35] Zen Linden: hahah
- [15:35] DreamE Dreamscape: courtsies, waves and sneaks off, smiles
- [15:35] norritt Xi: Every time
- [15:35] Shibari Twine: As it's been removed I vote close too
- [15:36] Opensource Obscure: closed , resolved
- [15:36] Zen Linden: you're welcome to turn it off, but those crashes are gold for us
- [15:36] Cummere Mayo: ill live with it I jsut wotn play in cola with it lol
- [15:36] norritt Xi: OKay tell me how many you need multiply with 2 and then you now in how many minutes I'm finished delivering those reports ;)
- [15:36] Bridie Linden: Thx Opensource
- [15:36] Opensource Obscure: =)
- [15:36] Alexa Linden: :)
- [15:37] Bridie Linden: Shall we see what issue are in the 1.20 pile?
- [15:37] Cummere Mayo: lol norritt
- [15:37] norritt Xi: BTW I found a bug in the mono software this week I think dunno if this is of any interest for you
- [15:37] Bridie Linden: ?
- [15:37] Bridie Linden: wb Garn
- [15:37] Prospero Linden: norritt, what is it?
- [15:37] Garn Conover: test
- [15:37] norritt Xi: Just wanted to mention I'm in touch with a novell developer to fix it
- [15:37] Garn Conover: nope wth
- [15:38] Prospero Linden: Oh, you mean in *Mono*, not in the SL mono implementation
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: oh!
- [15:38] norritt Xi: Well I wrote a ultralightweight client for SL using libopenmv and it crashes after constant time
- [15:38] norritt Xi: Yes
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: :O
- [15:38] Garn Conover: uuug old UI.. must have Retro Dazzle!
- [15:38] norritt Xi: The Mono software itself
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: Cool norritt
- [15:38] norritt Xi: The crash is perfectly reproducable
- [15:39] Bridie Linden: Crashes your client?
- [15:39] norritt Xi: After 1 - 1,5 hour running the program perfectly fine I get this - always:
- [15:39] norritt Xi: Unhandled Exception: System.ExecutionEngineException: Couldn't create thread
- at (wrapper managed-to-native) System.Object:__icall_wrapper_mono_delegate_begin_invoke (object,intptr)

- at OpenMetaverse.NetworkManager.IncomingPacketHandler () [0x00000]]
- [15:39] norritt Xi: Yes it does
- [15:39] norritt Xi: And I should remark it doesn't crash when I run the App under .NET
- [15:39] Bridie Linden: i see
- [15:40] Bridie Linden: Moving back to the agenda...(but thx for interesting sidebar norritt)
- [15:40] Bridie Linden: VWR-8775[c
- [15:40] Prospero Linden: Hrm... are you sure it's a Mono bug per se, and not a SL client bug that for whatever reason .NET is insensitive to?
- [15:40] norritt Xi: Wanted to mention because it might be interesting together with the mono introduction
- [15:40] Minakothegothicgeisha Kamachi: excuse me all i have a class to attend. be well and good luck

- [15:45] Cummere Mayo: ok silly question i know
- [15:45] Shibari Twine: this is a dupe of the mac freeze bug, long running isnt it?
- [15:46] Cummere Mayo: but... wth doesnt ramzi import his own created jiras?
- [15:46] norritt Xi: Well not for minutes here but the viewer has hiccups now and then
- [15:46] Zen Linden: no, this one was a little different
- [15:46] Zen Linden: we have a lot of these older mbps around the office
- [15:46] Zen Linden: any lindens on an older mbp notice this too?
- [15:46] Cummere Mayo: *her own
- [15:46] Prospero Linden: older = ATI graphics card?
- [15:47] norritt Xi: Usually minimizing it to the task bar and resizing it back solves that problem
- [15:47] Zen Linden: yes
- [15:47] norritt Xi: I'm on nVidia 9800 GTX here
- [15:47] norritt Xi: I have that too
- [15:47] Alexa Linden: ours go through the same process, a lot of times we need feedback too - see if others experience the same thing
- [15:47] norritt Xi: Under Windows
- [15:47] Bridie Linden: i have same card as reporter
- [15:47] Zen Linden: the ATI Mobility 1600
- [15:47] Shibari Twine: I have an ATI X1600 in my MBP and rarely stall unless my draw is up
- [15:47] Zen Linden: ok, yeah, i hadn't noticed it on mine
- [15:47] Bridie Linden: No freezes here
- [15:47] Prospero Linden's: MBP has NVidia 8600M GT, used to get entire system freezes until he started turning qualities down, etc., to reduce heat.
- [15:48] norritt Xi: Yes that's the Notebook chips
- [15:48] Zen Linden: yeah, i'm suspecting heat for her
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:48] norritt Xi: nVidia has borked that productline badly
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: anything in 1.21 that could help, Zen?
- [15:48] Zen Linden: not really
- [15:48] Zen Linden: just low settings
- [15:48] norritt Xi: They have many troubles with replacing burned gpus in notebooks now so nothing unusual
- [15:48] Zen Linden: i'll add to the jira
- [15:48] Zen Linden: and comment some more

- [15:50] Cummere Mayo: anyone read about the newest imacs tendance to melt the hdd?
- [15:50] Prospero Linden: Neuro Linden's mainboard has gone twice in the last 1.3 years

- [15:51] norritt Xi: Yeap Aplles can get hot in times -> [9]
- [15:51] Selena Beale: Umm.. umm.. double the crashy goodness?
- [15:51] Bridie Linden: is this more of a feature request?
- [15:51] Cummere Mayo: happens very occasionally for me for all.20 windows versions
- [15:52] Cummere Mayo: no its a bug bridie
- [15:52] norritt Xi: I didn't realize that double dialog problem yet
- [15:52] Bridie Linden: Or change pref?
- [15:52] Cummere Mayo: soemtimes even after sending the crash report .20 's crashlogger forgets to delete the file
- [15:52] norritt Xi: But I also checked "Send automatically" so that might be the reason....
- [15:52] norritt Xi: Though the first time you are asked and IIRC I only got one dialog then
- [15:52] Cummere Mayo: or add the file
- [15:53] Bridie Linden: Me too Norritt
- [15:53] Cummere Mayo: whichever tells sl the crashlogger ran
- [15:53] Selena Beale: Yeah.. that may be built in.. or something.. asking if you want to send it..
- [15:53] Bridie Linden: Hmm, maybe i'll change my preference to see...
- [15:54] Bridie Linden: I'd vote for leaving this one open for now
- [15:54] Cummere Mayo: to me its a very very occasional thing
- [15:54] Bridie Linden: One more today?
- [15:54] Bridie Linden: # VWR-8411[c
- [15:54] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8411
- [15:55] Gellan Glenelg: did antialiasing get disabled?
- [15:55] norritt Xi: I think she's referring to the textures loading incredibly slowly in the recent releases
- [15:55] Bridie Linden: Strange
- [15:55] norritt Xi: That makes stuff look blurry for quite some time before it sharpens
- [15:55] Selena Beale: has happened to me too..
- [15:56] Selena Beale: But.. umm.. just hte images
- [15:56] Bridie Linden: '~ confirmed right glasses prescription - *sigh*
- '
- [15:56] Cummere Mayo: lol
- [15:56] Selena Beale: Yeah, I don't wear glasses.. can't repo that step
- [15:56] norritt Xi: I'm not sure what happend there I supected that it might have to do with some changes that have been don to the client texture cache management maybe?
- [15:56] Garn Conover: lol nice!
- [15:56] Selena Beale: But.. really.. I think it's only a small thing..
- [15:56] Nya Linden: hmm.. we did some comparison testing on textures and they seem to be loading at the same rate between 1.20 and 1.21.
- [15:56] Cummere Mayo: honestly ild import
- [15:57] norritt Xi: Yes but try to compare with 1.19
- [15:57] Zen Linden: i'm looking at the images...
- [15:57] Cummere Mayo: I also would up the priority a bit
- [15:57] Bridie Linden: Well, this was reported in July
- [15:57] norritt Xi: 1.20 was already slow
- [15:57] Cummere Mayo: 1.21 slower
- [15:57] McCabe Maxsted: can someone attach these as screenshots too?
- [15:57] Cummere Mayo: ><
- [15:57] Nya Linden: d'oh norrit - sorry! I meant 1.20 and 1.19.
- [15:58] Nya Linden: We're still trying to track down where we can repro the slow texture loading. It may have something to do with lag..?
- [15:58] Shibari Twine: just go shopping
- [15:58] Garn Conover: try Kuula? we dont call it Kuulag for nothin
- [15:58] Cummere Mayo: i think its all realted to the sim performance thing
- [15:58] Cummere Mayo: srv 2708 i think
- [15:58] Bridie Linden: Thoughts Zen?
- [15:58] norritt Xi: Well it might also be related to the Assetserver walking on its last legs
- [15:59] Cummere Mayo: but i think theres a viewer component to this too
- [15:59] Zen Linden: I think she's refering to aa
- [15:59] Zen Linden: anti-aliasing
- [15:59] Bridie Linden: yeah
- [15:59] Bridie Linden: Comment Zen? ask if it's still happening?
- [15:59] Zen Linden: yeah, i'll comment
- [16:00] Selena Beale: those legs covered in pink fishnet panty hose? *chuckles* Sorry..
- [16:00] Bridie Linden: That brings us to 4pm folks
