- [12:12] Gellan Glenelg: Bug or Feature Request? Dupe of [2] ?
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: and the comments are priceless :P
- [12:12] Nya Linden: laughs that it's a dup.
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: I'd say so
- [12:13] Nya Linden: I say dup, as Gellan suggested.
- [12:14] Bridie Linden: I say, let's move on
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: k

- [12:15] Alexa Linden: eeeeeew
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: ebol O.o
- [12:15] Gordon Wendt: doesn't look like there's a repro for this?
- [12:16] Bridie Linden: Resolve as NMI while we wait...
- [12:16] Nya Linden: yep.
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:16] Nya Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-9269
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: feature request
- [12:16] Gellan Glenelg: I like this
- [12:16] Gellan Glenelg: "save to inventory" is useful, but not easy to get to
- [12:16] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:17] Nya Linden: seems really useful.
- [12:17] Nya Linden: import to viewer triage?
- [12:17] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: noted
- [12:17] Nya Linden: okay.. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7786

- [12:18] Alexa Linden: gotcha :)
- [12:18] Gellan Glenelg: this was reported again, today
- [12:19] Bridie Linden: it was?
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: there were a lot of reports at the end of last week re: this
- [12:20] Gellan Glenelg: SVC-3113 (already marked dupe) was today
- [12:20] Bridie Linden: thx Gellan
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: gold sarts for Gellan
- [12:21] Gellan Glenelg: ty
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: holy cow
- [12:21] Bridie Linden: ?
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: did anyone see the gold stars?
- [12:21] Bridie Linden: gold sarts?
- [12:21] Data Landau: y
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: particles
- [12:21] Gellan Glenelg: hehe
- [12:22] Gellan Glenelg: gold sarts for bridie
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: O.o
- [12:22] Bridie Linden: omg omg omg
- [12:22] Nya Linden: hah!
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: who did that!
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: WANT!
- [12:22] Gellan Glenelg: me :)
- [12:22] Bridie Linden: hoorays!
- [12:22] Aimee Trescothick: :D
- [12:22] Squirrel Wood: typo!
- [12:22] Nya Linden: that's brilliant.
- [12:22] Bridie Linden: ossm!!
- [12:22] Gellan Glenelg: see me afterwards, alexa :)
- [12:22] Squirrel Wood: should say GLOD Sart :p
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: you're my hero Gellan!
- [12:22] Squirrel Wood: and I is back. :p
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: yay! WB Squirrel :D
- [12:23] Bridie Linden: So as for 7786, do we have any sure fire repros?
- [12:23] Gellan Glenelg: nope :(
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: I can ask for repro steps
- [12:24] Bridie Linden: yeah, and files that are failing
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: and see if it's still a problem and ask about types of files
- [12:24] Gellan Glenelg: and more crash reports?
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:24] Nya Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-9252
- [12:25] Gordon Wendt: anyone have a mac to english translation of that?
- [12:25] Bridie Linden: Try with 1.21?
- [12:26] Nya Linden: snorts.
- [12:26] Bridie Linden: wonders about type of network
- [12:26] Gellan Glenelg: I'm not sure this is mac only. Seenm to remember a similar issue for windows... looking. ..
- [12:26] Nya Linden: mac has a bad habit of switching your output and input in the mac sound preferences.
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: I'll ask for full environment
- [12:26] Gordon Wendt: usb detection issues as well it seems
- [12:26] Bridie Linden: possible
- [12:26] Squirrel Wood: mac? Is that headset from apple? If not, may be "incompatible" with the OS :p
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: hahaha
- [12:27] Nya Linden: suggest checking in mac sound prefs and making sure it's also set to USB for input and output.
- [12:27] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:27] Bridie Linden: check if you're using Nya's headset too
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: will do
- [12:27] Bridie Linden: :P
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: hahaha
- [12:27] Nya Linden: almost every time I unplug my headset it switches the mac prefs.
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: or have a cell phone close?
- [12:27] Gellan Glenelg: ask for logs too - I often see multiple reconnect attempts in debug
- [12:27] Nya Linden: cell phone is probably something different.
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: :P
- [12:28] Nya Linden: sticks her tongue out at bridie.
- [12:28] Nya Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-254
- [12:28] Bridie Linden: is glad that that will be captured in transcripts
- [12:28] Gellan Glenelg: I tried to repro the related issue, https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1573 ... and it no longer repros
- [12:28] Nya Linden: forever and ever.
- [12:29] Alexa Linden: thanks Gellan!
- [12:30] Gordon Wendt: hmm, that's a cylinder, 92 hollow, -160 e twist value
- [12:30] Bridie Linden: did anyone try to repro this one?
- [12:30] Gordon Wendt: that's what I'm reproing now
- [12:30] Nya Linden: Gordon just did.
- [12:30] Gordon Wendt: or was before autoreturn hit me
- [12:30] Nya Linden: looked like a cylinder to me.
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:30] Gordon Wendt: one sec I'll rez it again
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: so that's 2 can't repros
- [12:31] Gellan Glenelg: make it big enough to walk into?
- [12:31] Nya Linden: so resolve as no repro?
- [12:31] Gordon Wendt: looks like it
- [12:31] Bridie Linden: i love my job
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: I love show & tell :D
- [12:31] Gordon Wendt: let me know when I can get rid of it
- [12:32] Nya Linden: heh.. you can take it back.
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: gold sarts to Gordon
- [12:32] Gordon Wendt: hey this is serious work, that happens to take the form of rezzing random objects
- [12:32] Gordon Wendt: jumps to catch the gold sarts
- [12:32] Joeseph Albanese: lol
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: beams
- [12:32] Nya Linden: ossm.
- [12:32] Nya Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-357
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: k - makring can't repro on last one
- [12:33] Nya Linden: yep. and I think import to web on 357.
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: same
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: off to WEB it goes
- [12:33] Nya Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-349
- [12:33] Joeseph Albanese: Wasnt there a similar report of the whole template page getting a refresh?
- [12:33] Nya Linden: hmmm.....
- [12:33] Gordon Wendt: Nya, that's an external thing with the vendor for the verification right?
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: you switched to IE. The browser of old people.
- [12:34] Gordon Wendt: should be noted though that only the first 2 or 3 comments are on topic and the last one is just a rant against age verification and is off topic
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: LMAO
- [12:35] Nya Linden: Gordon - I'm not sure. I've never had to be verified. heh.
- [12:35] Gordon Wendt: hey, IE is good for some tasks, such as updating windows (which requires you use ie or ie inside firefox)
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: this is from dec. 2007
- [12:35] Squirrel Wood: verification usually fails if you do not type the name exactly as its on your passport ot DL
- [12:35] Gordon Wendt: Nya, the hypocrisy
- [12:36] Aimee Trescothick: hmmm, a potential underage Linden ZOMG!
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: looks around the room.. "Where?!?"
- [12:36] Nya Linden: hahaha. I know, I know. I'm an old hypocrite, though.
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: I wonder if this is still a problem
- [12:36] Nya Linden: I suggest we import to QA to try to repro.
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: cool
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: will do
- [12:37] Nya Linden: maybe it'll be me. :)
- [12:37] Nya Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-788
- [12:37] Nya Linden: hah! nice one.
- [12:38] Squirrel Wood: 788 not a bug. works as intended me say!
- [12:38] Gellan Glenelg: agreed
- [12:38] Joeseph Albanese: yep
- [12:38] Gellan Glenelg: it's distance from camera position
- [12:38] Bridie Linden: nods
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:38] Squirrel Wood: since rendering is done based on the camera position...
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: misfiled - not a bug
- [12:38] Gordon Wendt: there's probably a way to make it clear in documentation that that's the case
- [12:39] Squirrel Wood: yet prim visibility is based on avatar position....
- [12:39] Gordon Wendt: I don't think it's noted anywhere that distance is from camera
- [12:39] Nya Linden: huh. seems confusing to me.
- [12:39] Squirrel Wood: so if you have like, 64m draw distance, anything past 64m from your av will not be rendered. even if you move your camera past that distance
- [12:40] Gordon Wendt: import maybe?
- [12:40] Squirrel Wood: or something like that. It can get a bit confusing
- [12:40] Gordon Wendt: to whoever you have doing documentation for that
- [12:41] Gordon Wendt: I don't see changing how the distance to av being changed but it could be made more clear in the information on the site and the wiki
- [12:42] Gordon Wendt: anyone still alive in here?
- [12:42] Nya Linden: heh.
- [12:42] Bridie Linden: wha?
- [12:42] Nya Linden: I was thinking.
- [12:42] Bridie Linden: j/k
- [12:42] Joeseph Albanese: lol
- [12:42] Aimee Trescothick: nope
- [12:43] Bridie Linden: we can ask for clarification
- [12:43] Gordon Wendt: testing something -- [3]
- [12:43] Nya Linden: okay. we're importing to give to Knowledge Base.
- [12:44] Nya Linden: moving to https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7935
- [12:44] Gordon Wendt: odd, I think I just found a new bug while opening all those JIRAs for this meeting, the use internal web browser setting does not always persist when opening urls, sometimes it switches to external browser without you clicking the always use my browser button
- [12:44] Gellan Glenelg: looked on KB. I don't see any mention of distance in relation to navigation beacons
- [12:44] Bridie Linden: I'd like to rename this issue to "avatars who look like kenny rogers"
- [12:44] Squirrel Wood: 7935.... saw torley with that bug last thursday on rc2...
- [12:44] Nya Linden: yes. we do love this video card issue.
- [12:45] Gellan Glenelg: is this another form of the nvidia bug?
- [12:45] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7957
- [12:45] Joeseph Albanese: Messy dye job?
- [12:45] Nya Linden: dup.
- [12:45] Nya Linden: heh.
- [12:45] Bridie Linden: hee
- [12:45] Squirrel Wood: I would assume its a timeout on loading textures from the servers... so the client bakes with missing textures ?
- [12:45] Alexa Linden: so dup of VWR-7957?
- [12:46] Nya Linden: yep
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:46] Squirrel Wood: and in that process gets some pointers wrong so it uses the wrong textures on the wrong body parts?
- [12:46] Gordon Wendt: this is a new one to me, secondlife disagrees with nvidia cards?
- [12:46] Nya Linden: er.. very much in disagreement.
- [12:46] Gordon Wendt: ok granted I stay away from the vid card issues for teh most part
- [12:46] Gordon Wendt: *the
- [12:46] Squirrel Wood: SL does not use all the nifty features of my gtx-280 and performs about the same as on my old 7950 gt :p
- [12:47] Nya Linden: runs screaming from the vid card issues and directly to: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-290
- [12:47] Gordon Wendt: I'm guessing they aren't on the supported list even
- [12:47] Squirrel Wood: how can the latest vidcard generations not be on the supported list? :p
- [12:47] Gordon Wendt: ask if it's still relevant, cc and other payment changes take awhile to update
- [12:47] Gellan Glenelg: Reporter still shows as "No Payment Info on File" in search. Suggest they contact support to get it updated?
- [12:47] Gordon Wendt: just like the payment info on file and used flags
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: ya
- [12:48] Gordon Wendt: I've heard of cases where people have never had it update without support intervention, but that's another issue I think
- [12:48] Squirrel Wood: humm....
- [12:48] Hylonome Quintessa: Anybody heard of a "chibi"Unknown animation state"?
- [12:48] Gellan Glenelg: of course, now they're > 30 days old, they won't be able to use most money trees!
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: we're into golden oldies......
- [12:48] Squirrel Wood: could that "game" refer to an ingame "bank" account ?
- [12:49] Nya Linden: looks like billing updated just got updated today.
- [12:49] Nya Linden: I suggest close as fixed and ask them to try again.
- [12:49] Gordon Wendt: Nya, oh there's a cycle to it?
- [12:49] Nya Linden: It's not a cycle. I was checking for that specific user.
- [12:49] Gordon Wendt: ahhh
- [12:49] Alexa Linden: next up is https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-269
- [12:49] Gordon Wendt: db access, it's a privilege
- [12:50] Nya Linden: and a burden. :)
- [12:50] Squirrel Wood: dbs? That's where I store part of my nut supply :p
- [12:51] Gordon Wendt: this one seems simple, have one of your web monkeys just change one line of html in the heading
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: thanks for the info Squirrel ;)
- [12:52] Squirrel Wood: so if the asset server is slow its just busy resorting the nuts by shae, form, type, color and about a couple dozen other criterias :p
- [12:52] Gordon Wendt: it isn't the header though is it? it's the left sidebar description that says what it's in
- [12:52] Squirrel Wood: that issue should go to the web team?
- [12:53] Squirrel Wood: easy fix methinks
- [12:53] Alexa Linden: ya
- [12:53] Nya Linden: yeah.
- [12:53] Alexa Linden: will do
- [12:53] Nya Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-266
- [12:54] Gordon Wendt: web team again?
- [12:54] Alexa Linden: ya, easy enough to test
- [12:54] Nya Linden: yep
- [12:54] Nya Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-263
- [12:54] Gordon Wendt: probably 15 minutes if that to reproduce and fix if needed internally
- [12:55] Gordon Wendt: woohoo, another crazy repro
- [12:55] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:55] Alexa Linden: [4]

- [12:57] Nya Linden: sounds good to me.
- [12:57] Nya Linden: thankd for the quick testing!!
- [12:57] Gordon Wendt: someoen's going through and changing all these things on the jira right?
- [12:57] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:57] Alexa Linden: I do them after the meeting
- [12:57] Nya Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6669
- [12:57] Gordon Wendt: sneaks in and resolves this one before alexa can get to it
- [12:57] Gordon Wendt: bwa ha ha
- [12:58] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:58] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:59] Gellan Glenelg: sounds like they're using llLoadURL(llGetOwner().....
- [12:59] Gellan Glenelg: which won't work if owner is a group
- [12:59] Nya Linden: NMI for specific repro?
- [12:59] Gellan Glenelg: yeah - ask for the code
- [12:59] Gordon Wendt: damn autoreturn
- [12:59] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:59] Alexa Linden: and that's it for today!
- [13:00] Squirrel Wood: OMy
- [13:00] Bridie Linden: thx all!
- [13:00] Alexa Linden: thank you all for being here and all your OSSM help!
