Usage

Syntax for use: {{Automatically populated category|templatename1|templatename2|...|templatename21}}

This category is automatically populated with pages that include one of the following templates: Template:PlaceTemplate:List/,Template:Feature, and Template:Infobox. You can use this category manually, but most uses should be via application of the indicated template.


This used to be called "APCH", an initialism for "Automatically Populated Category Header" (that name redirects here in the template namespace). The point of this template is to provide a consistent header to affix to all categories which are automatically populated by use of, for instance, Template:Place or Template:KeyDescription. The point of such a header is to inform users that they should generally use the indicated template to add a page to the category, though this does not ban people from manually affixing the category to a page.
