[10:59] The region you have entered is running a different simulator version. Click this message for details.
[10:59] Opensource Obscure: my region, LOL, is now running on server 1.38! much less problems when avatars with heavy scripts log in .. apparently! wooo!
[11:00] Welcome to Linden office hours
[11:00] Bronson Blackadder: everywhere I went I was being chased by region restarts
[11:00] Ardy Lay: That was interesting. I teleported home and that one was going down too so I jumped next door to a sandbox and it was going down too.
[11:00] Opensource Obscure: first time i ask in a group chat .. "if you're wearing stiletto shoes please come here!"
[11:01] Opensource Obscure: i heard oskar linden talking about 20% of the grid.
[11:01] Daniel Voyager: yup lol
[11:01] Bronson Blackadder: hello everyone :)
[11:01] Daniel Voyager: *giggles*
[11:01] Rex Cronon: hi everybody
[11:01] Rex Cronon: hi bronson
[11:01] Daniel Voyager: well it is easter :D
[11:01] Keystone Gray: Oh right! Forgot about that.
[11:01] Opensource Obscure: i'm now getting 2 seconds pauses when people with those terrible shoes get in the sim
[11:01] Rex Cronon: wow. this sim has the new server version:)
[11:02] Opensource Obscure: 1 person just got in
[11:02] Opensource Obscure: time dilation went from 1 to 0.8 for 1-2 secs
[11:02] lonetorus Habilis: HAI SIMON
[11:02] Daniel Voyager: hey Simon
[11:02] Simon Linden: Hello
[11:02] Opensource Obscure: then went back to 1. quite better
[11:02] Rex Cronon: hi simon
[11:02] Opensource Obscure: hey simon
[11:03] Bronson Blackadder: ok really fast now.. who has a 1000 script 500 prim phallus thats running on Mno
[11:03] Bronson Blackadder: wear it now and seee what the sim does
[11:03] xstorm Radek: Simon Physics of round ball with a box shape bounding box is not working
[11:03] Opensource Obscure: hello andrew
[11:03] Andrew Linden: hello
[11:04] Rex Cronon: hi andrew. your vacation is over?
[11:04] Andrew Linden: Yes. Vacation is complete.
[11:04] xstorm Radek: hi Andrew :-) may i pick on the person that thinks round balls set to physics can stack ?
[11:04] Andrew Linden: I was completely off the net for about 6 days
[11:04] Andrew Linden: so it was a nice way to "reset".
[11:05] Keystone Gray: That's practically months in E-time.
[11:05] Andrew Linden: I even forgot to bring my cell phone charger with me.
[11:05] lonetorus Habilis: xstorm, you can stack physical spheres
[11:05] Opensource Obscure: hah
[11:05] Keystone Gray: Ouch. :| I've done that before. Went without cell phone service for a week in Hawaii.
[11:05] xstorm Radek: no you can not
[11:05] Opensource Obscure: welcome back to the matrix.
[11:05] lonetorus Habilis: xstorm, well a friend was shoowing me it is possible, perhaps a month ago
[11:05] Opensource Obscure: we're on Server 1.38.0.202982 here now
[11:06] Rex Cronon: lets hope u rested enough:)
[11:06] Keystone Gray: When you jack out of the Matrix, they sent bots to hunt you down and kill you. When you leave SL, you can come back whenever, but when you do get back you have to suffer a couple days of "where'd you go, how dare you leave us?"
[11:06] Keystone Gray: xD
[11:06] xstorm Radek: wind and other known serounding will make them fall
[11:06] Keystone Gray: So it's not quite as bad. ;)
[11:06] Opensource Obscure: it runs smoothly, apparently. people logging in the sim doesn't cause huge lag delays as before, as far as i can tell
[11:06] Eddi Decosta: Rezing
[11:06] Andrew Linden: I'm easing my way back into work. I happened to leave in the middle of a big spagetti-code-unravel project and have tried to pick that up first rather than work on some of the hot items that are waiting for me.
[11:06] Rex Cronon: nice ave melchizedek:)
[11:06] lonetorus Habilis: last time i heard wind did not affect physical objects
[11:06] Eddi Decosta: hey wb Andrew! ㋡
[11:06] lonetorus Habilis: or was it the other way around
[11:06] lonetorus Habilis: physiucal objects not affecting wid
[11:07] lonetorus Habilis: wind
[11:07] Melchizedek Blauvelt: thanks Rex :)
[11:07] Keystone Gray: Don't you just hate leaving unfinished work? When you get back you've lost the groove.
[11:07] Eddi Decosta: hi Simon ㋡
[11:07] Andrew Linden: So Falcon was telling me that Havok7 is up and running on some of the Beta grid regions (aditi)
[11:08] lonetorus Habilis: there you go
[11:08] lonetorus Habilis: my gray balls are phys
[11:08] Opensource Obscure: yeah andrew!
[11:08] lonetorus Habilis: and stacked
[11:08] Opensource Obscure: oooh gravity
[11:08] Andrew Linden: He's found several new crash modes in Havok7 but so far they have been little one-liner fixes.
[11:08] Eddi Decosta: i love this 1.38 its more stable with the 2.0 for the textures and prims loading ...
[11:08] Ardy Lay: 990 scripted bricks up
[11:09] xstorm Radek: Simon what havok is this ?
[11:09] Ardy Lay: 990 scripted bricks down
[11:09] Ardy Lay: Booyah!
[11:09] Simon Linden: That's nice to hear Eddi
[11:09] xstorm Radek: and what sim class ?
[11:09] Melchizedek Blauvelt: That's very nice
[11:09] Simon Linden: I think this is a class 7 server
[11:09] Eddi Decosta: cause some time i get a ping of 5000msec + on startup with the viewer 2 lol
[11:09] xstorm Radek: ok what happen yester day ?
[11:09] Andrew Linden: xstorm, did you send me a friendship request on United Avatar? I think I got one from you but I'm not accepting friendship requests there until they work out their account verification stuff.
[11:10] Opensource Obscure: verification on AU is enabled now
[11:10] Simon Linden: yeah, we're on a class 7 server and the other regions only have 2 people on them
[11:10] Opensource Obscure: that works together with id.secondlife.com
[11:10] xstorm Radek: yes i think so
[11:10] Opensource Obscure: a recent thing - as in a few days
[11:10] Opensource Obscure: andrew was off the grid : )
[11:11] Andrew Linden: Yeah, I need to authenticate my own account probably ;-)
[11:11] xstorm Radek: so do i
[11:11] xstorm Radek: lol
[11:11] Opensource Obscure: it's a very quick and easy process. cool
[11:12] Opensource Obscure: well let's talk about servers not AU
[11:12] Opensource Obscure: or .. any announcements?
[11:12] xstorm Radek: lol Open your on AU
[11:13] Simon Linden: Sorry, afk a bit...
[11:13] Opensource Obscure: yeah xstorm - my URL is also in my profile
[11:13] Eddi Decosta: em, Simon question about fps, and flash , do you know why my fps drop when i open some game in flash?
[11:13] Andrew Linden: I think we're going to have to go through some more stress testing of Havok7 if we hope to get it into server-1.40
[11:13] Andrew Linden: I expect the few Havok7 regions on aditi will be updated soon with Falcon's fixes
[11:13] Opensource Obscure: i asked for my region to be copied to Aditi. i'd be glad to help with testing
[11:14] Andrew Linden: and maybe eventually we'll have a more formal announcement of it
[11:14] xstorm Radek: ok Andrew please stress test the mainland sim Trendone
[11:14] Andrew Linden: hrm... maybe we'll have to open up a way to test specific regions on the test grid again
[11:14] Opensource Obscure: I guess after the restricted test, all of Aditi will me moved to Havok 7. makes sense?
[11:15] Andrew Linden: I think Oskar's office hours are the place to go for Havok7 coordination.
[11:15] Opensource Obscure: sure. fine
[11:15] xstorm Radek: im starting to think some sims on some servers are not working right
[11:16] Andrew Linden: Yeah Opensource, I'd expect all (most) of aditi to have Havok7 for some point -- probably before Havok7 is actually accepted into server-1.40 though, so it would be slightly different from what we usually put up on all of aditi
[11:16] Andrew Linden: xstorm, you mean you think some specific "regions" don't work right on some servers?
[11:17] xstorm Radek: yes
[11:17] Andrew Linden: Or do you man that some server-1.XX versions dont' work right on some server machines?
[11:17] Bronson Blackadder: I would agree with X
[11:17] Bronson Blackadder: seems like no matter what server its on
[11:17] Andrew Linden: What are the symptoms of "not working right"?
[11:17] Bronson Blackadder: some regions are just garbage
[11:17] xstorm Radek: i have been watching some sims are having problems
[11:18] Bronson Blackadder: bouncingtime dilations
[11:18] Bronson Blackadder: bouncing sim FPS
[11:18] Eddi Decosta: nice my fps is set to 1.4 llol
[11:18] Bronson Blackadder: bouncing physics fps
[11:18] Bronson Blackadder: stuff like that
[11:18] Andrew Linden: what are the names of some of these regions?
[11:18] Bronson Blackadder: I really need to start taking names
[11:18] xstorm Radek: such as a larger number of avatars and oject ghosting and phantom
[11:18] xstorm Radek: physics is not the same
[11:19] Simon Linden: I think some of aditi was going to be 1.38.1 without havok 7
[11:19] xstorm Radek: even doing testing on bandwith is off
[11:20] xstorm Radek: is there any sort of problem with network timing ?
[11:20] Andrew Linden: xstorm, do you remember the names of the regions in which you see the problems
[11:20] Eddi Decosta: ping sim at 590msec
[11:20] Eddi Decosta: 757 now
[11:20] xstorm Radek: i have screen shots from one sim
[11:21] xstorm Radek: and trendone is another
[11:21] Eddi Decosta: poor ping sim lol
[11:22] xstorm Radek: Sistiana physics gone crazy in there sim
[11:22] Eddi Decosta: 1009msec with 0.5 on fps
[11:22] xstorm Radek: i got to see people fly and slide off the sim for a split sec
[11:22] Andrew Linden: ok, I'll try to examine Sistiana later today
[11:22] Andrew Linden takes notes
[11:23] xstorm Radek: even there doors i must say and ghost prims too
[11:23] Eddi Decosta: awmdrew can you look the trouble sot with my ping sim?
[11:23] Eddi Decosta: shot*
[11:23] Andrew Linden: I think the deadline for getting bugs fixed and tested for server-1.40 will be around April 20th.
[11:24] lonetorus Habilis: so, 1.40 is still in line for general deployment early may?
[11:25] Andrew Linden: So that will probably be my focus for the next couple weeks... coordinating what can be done in time.
[11:25] Andrew Linden: (sorry, was interrupted in RL)
[11:26] xstorm Radek: i do know in many cases the bandwith can hit some thing like 9000 then drop to 0 for a split sec in one sim but a sim next to it is fine
[11:26] Andrew Linden: server-1.40 will probably branch sometime around April 20th, so that would put it for... late May deploy rather than early.
[11:27] Andrew Linden: My main side project right now is working on region crossing bugs, but that relates to the spagetti I'm trying to unravel.
[11:27] xstorm Radek: if a sim network timing is having problems and another sim is not will this not make sim crossings a problem ?
[11:28] Andrew Linden: I need to add some new "features" to the region-region communication, but am trying to clean stuff up before I do.
[11:28] Simon Linden: Crossings and TPs definitely become worse with network problems
[11:28] Simon Linden: I've been working in that area too, moving some of the processing to threads so there's less lag for everyone else when it happens
[11:28] Opensource Obscure: mm andrew .. what .. new things .. regions have to talk about?
[11:28] Andrew Linden: (SVC-22 for posterity)
[11:28] Vehicles crossing region borders aren't always treated as vehicles and can get incorrectly returned if the destination parcel is no-entry or parcel-full
[11:29] xstorm Radek: ok so if there is a timing problem in one sim and people see bandwith problems then sim crossings will be harder
[11:29] Andrew Linden: SVC-22 specifically -- the neighboring region needs to know the edge parcels and their access settings
[11:29] Opensource Obscure: ha-ah! helpful for megaprims ?
[11:30] Simon Linden: yeah, that would be a good change. Currently it doesn't find out about some access limits until after it's tried to move into another region and parcel
[11:30] Opensource Obscure: cross-sim parcel boundaries
[11:30] office hours is half over
[11:30] Andrew Linden: Opensource: yes. Edge parcel perms are needed for proper "prim encroachment" handling across region boundaries too.
[11:30] xstorm Radek: oh do not get me started on mega prims to many new people dropping out mega prims blotting out sims now
[11:31] Opensource Obscure: great
[11:31] Opensource Obscure: ok you didn't started xstorm : ) let's listen to andrew
[11:31] Opensource Obscure: and simon!
[11:31] xstorm Radek: may i vote to have Opensource train all new people about mega prims ?
[11:32] Opensource Obscure: :D
[11:32] xstorm Radek: k
[11:32] Liisa Runo: can also poke normal prims to other peoples parcels, megaprim or not, AR will take care of the problem rather fast
[11:33] Andrew Linden: I don't want to get started on megaprims either.
[11:33] Arawn Spitteler: Maybe we could have collision tests for Parcels?
[11:33] Andrew Linden: All I'll say is that megaprim liberation depends on solving "prim encroachment"
[11:33] Bronson Blackadder: well no
[11:34] Andrew Linden: and "prim encroachment" depends on improved region boundary crossings/communication
[11:34] Bronson Blackadder: AR doesnt do anything
[11:34] Arawn Spitteler: I ARred Governor Linden, a couple weeks ago, and got an instant repsonse, almost
[11:35] Arawn Spitteler: Seemed more efficient than filing a ticket
[11:35] Andrew Linden: I'll also say that I think the "mesh" project wants to enable mega-meshes, so the priority for these various dependencies are going to heat up
[11:35] Opensource Obscure: i'm going to wear an hud to test it. should it do strange things, please don't hit me too bad with the ban hammer
[11:35] TKD Nitro HUD V2.0: TKD Nitro HUD V2.0 [script:TKD NITRO RUN V2.0] Script run-time error
[11:35] TKD Nitro HUD V2.0: System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException: serializationStream supports seeking, but its length is 0
 at System.Runtime.Serialization.Formatters.Binary.BinaryFormatter.NoCheckDeserialize (System.IO.Stream serializationStream, System.Runtime.Remoting.Messaging.HeaderHandler handler) [0x00000]
[11:35] Keystone Gray: 'Too bad' being the operative phrase! ;)
[11:36] Simon Linden: Interesting mono error
[11:36] Memorial Dae snickers
[11:36] Adamburp Adamczyk: onigokko
[11:36] Kitsune Zipper: I see grey people
[11:36] Bronson Blackadder: oh wow
[11:36] Kitsune Zipper: I hear gesturebaors
[11:36] Arawn Spitteler: But they don't know they're grey
[11:36] Bronson Blackadder: I forgot about this
[11:36] Keystone Gray: I'm gray!
[11:36] Kitsune Zipper: *gesturebators
[11:36] Chaley May: i dont think encroachment should be worried about too much... people dont want to break rules and risk losing land anyway
[11:36] Andrew Linden: yeah so we are on server-1.38 in this region. Did the pilot roll start today?
[11:36] Andrew Linden reads his email.
[11:37] Keystone Gray: Bronson, can you please not do that?
[11:37] Chaley May: but we all want bigger prims
[11:37] xstorm Radek: ???
[11:37] Bronson Blackadder: talk to adam
[11:37] Ardy Lay: stop
[11:37] Simon Linden: Andrew - yes, 20% of the sims this morning
[11:37] Bronson Blackadder: hes the one who started it
[11:37] Liisa Runo: [10:27] Oskar Linden: 1.38 is rolling out to the grid now
[11:37] Kitsune Zipper: Andrew, you're bald
[11:38] Kitsune Zipper: are you normally Bald?
[11:38] Memorial Dae: Well larger prims that the mesher can handle correctly seems to be fine now other than the fact we can not fabricate them. Most of the issue I have seen with the large meshes has been physics
[11:38] Arawn Spitteler: Andrew's an Engineer, born to be efficient
[11:38] lonetorus Habilis: i cant recall andrew not being balled
[11:38] lonetorus Habilis: -l
[11:38] Andrew Linden: No, I just don't like the default hair and refuse to wear attachments.
[11:38] Bronson Blackadder: lol
[11:38] Bronson Blackadder: lego hair not your speed?
[11:38] Rex Cronon: hiadam
[11:38] Kitsune Zipper: fair enough
[11:38] lonetorus Habilis: so the folluw up question is, does your avie look like your rl typist?
[11:38] lonetorus Habilis: XD
[11:39] Chaley May: wowi didnt know it would be released so soon
[11:39] Simon Linden: He also has the best av rendering cost :)
[11:39] Andrew Linden: No, i don't look like my avatar.
[11:39] Eddi Decosta: need to back
[11:39] xstorm Radek: ?
[11:39] lonetorus Habilis: simon, thats good, cant have all this resource hogging from lab employees
[11:39] xstorm Radek: ok i lost track of topic now
[11:40] Chaley May: does that mean we can start seeing how much memory we use on this sim?
[11:40] Andrew Linden: Simon, didn't some simulator diagnostics tools get included in server-1.38?
[11:40] Simon Linden: Chaley - good question. Do you know where in the viewer that should be displayed?
[11:41] Andrew Linden: I think Squid Linden got some performance tools/logging into server-1.38
[11:41] lonetorus Habilis: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Beta_Server/1.38
[11:41] Chaley May: i believe its in about land
[11:41] Andrew Linden: but would have to refresh my memory of exactly what
[11:41] Chaley May: but i am not on viewer 2
[11:41] Simon Linden: I think there was something added, but I'm not sure what
[11:41] Opensource Obscure: yeah - if you're using a Viewer 2, you can use it here and now
[11:41] Kitsune Zipper: wow, a featur for the beta viewers :/
[11:41] Opensource Obscure: it's in About Land > General > Script Info
[11:42] Simon Linden: ah, yes, I just found that too
[11:42] Andrew Linden: I don't think the performance logging/diagnostics are listed on that public wiki page.
[11:42] Opensource Obscure: Region data are available to region owner/managers , while the Avatar tab works on your own attachments
[11:42] Simon Linden: Looks like my sailboat is the biggest memory hog
[11:43] Andrew Linden: LL isn't doing active development on the old viewer-1.23 -- unless it is a security bug or something
[11:43] Arawn Spitteler: Memory used: 3216 kb out of 0kb; -3216 kb available?
[11:43] xstorm Radek: Andrew it be great if there was a page for that on the main secondlife webpage
[11:44] Andrew Linden: xstorm, a page about what?
[11:44] xstorm Radek: after all if people are paying prem accounts why not add error logs ?
[11:44] Arawn Spitteler: Nobody using HTTPIn?
[11:44] lonetorus Habilis: i do
[11:45] Simon Linden: I haven't found a reason to use http in yet
[11:45] Opensource Obscure: i do .. here are some basic scripts http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/User:Opensource_Obscure/Chromutate
[11:45] Opensource Obscure: i make people control my SL installation from a web page
[11:45] Arawn Spitteler: I'm thinkiing it would go nice with llSetMoaP
[11:45] Opensource Obscure: so i often see it changing colors
[11:45] Opensource Obscure: or rezzing things
[11:46] Opensource Obscure: and that makes the region a bit more dynamic. most SL is boringly static
[11:46] Chaley May: we will be able to make nonphys vehicles that move naturally now
[11:46] Bronson Blackadder: ok I just have to say here... I am running down a road with one of my alts now and teh rgion crossings are alot better
[11:46] Keystone Gray: Phase shifting vehicles is really taxing on sim performance
[11:46] Andrew Linden: Bronson, not all regions are running server-1.38
[11:46] Andrew Linden: are you sure you're on 1.38?
[11:46] Bronson Blackadder: I know this
[11:47] Liisa Runo: nonphysics is always less laggy compared to physics
[11:47] Andrew Linden: what is "phase shifting" for vehicles?
[11:47] Opensource Obscure: chaley, that's interesting. can you tell some more detail? or point me to a page?
[11:47] Bronson Blackadder: but I am running on the roads in regions that I was being chased down by region restarts
[11:47] Memorial Dae: I will check Hyboria later on this evening and turn my recorder on
[11:48] Keystone Gray: I've never scripted one, but I've worked with people who have - I'm not entire sure how it works, so I may not be the right person to ask. I just know that it's a nonphysical way to move vehicles in a natural way that are made with more than 30 prims.
[11:48] Kitsune Zipper: sorry was typing on chanel 6 XD
[11:48] Chaley May: well i havent tried it but if you use llSetLinkPrimitiveParamsFast on the root prim you move the object Fast too :)
[11:48] Andrew Linden: hmpf -- I think restarting the region often cleans up some performance problems, so testing region crossings on a newly restarted row might not prove to be a reliable test for general performance
[11:48] Liisa Runo: even nonphys vehicles that have 30 sub scripts to beat the delay, sill lag less than one physicsl prim, i have tested this a lot
[11:49] Andrew Linden: there aren't any region crossing bugs fixe or optimizations in 1.38 are there Simon?
[11:49] Kitsune Zipper: ok, I'm having issues when crossing mainland
[11:49] lonetorus Habilis: argh
[11:49] Andrew Linden: oh... SVC-3895 was fixed and should help a little
[11:49] Rezzing Mono scripted object cripples sim FPS
[11:49] Simon Linden: Not in 1.38
[11:49] lonetorus Habilis: i just realized that i cant compile the new lsl functions in a 1.23 based cleint
[11:49] Arawn Spitteler: New LSL?
[11:49] Simon Linden: I think that's the big change from Babbage - the repeated mono rezzing lag
[11:50] Kitsune Zipper: what about those that won't use vewer 2, will there be any way to se the "enhancements" in the standfard viewers?
[11:50] Kitsune Zipper: *standard
[11:50] lonetorus Habilis: arawn, http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Beta_Server/1.38
[11:50] Liisa Runo: im on Second Life 1.23.5 (136274) Oct 14 2009 13:31:23 (Second Life Release Candidate) and i can compile the new script suff
[11:50] lonetorus Habilis: im on 1.23.5 too
[11:50] Ardy Lay: Compiling is in the SIM. Go for it.
[11:50] Liisa Runo: the client dont show it as valid code, but it still compiles
[11:50] Keystone Gray: Oh, I've been wanting to mention to someone - I hang out in a lot of combat sims, and combat arenas with more than one sim end up having to have their participants toggle Velocity interpolation on, because otherwise, after large scale battles where a lot of bullets are crossing over sim borders, client-side framerate drop occurs.
[11:51] Andrew Linden: lonetorus, what compile error are you getting?
[11:51] xstorm Radek: :-( sorry have to go and report a mega prim again
[11:51] Kitsune Zipper: I see that the new enhancements for the "see free memory for SIM" isn't actually working well for 1.23 compatible
[11:52] lonetorus Habilis: never mind, i was getting a bloody syntax error, it works fine, if you look on my balls here, changeing colour with fast link set
[11:52] Ardy Lay: That's a lot of update traffic.
[11:52] lonetorus Habilis: yus
[11:53] lonetorus Habilis: its a fast timer
[11:53] lonetorus Habilis: and a loop doing the llsetprimparam
[11:53] Andrew Linden: Keystone, just curious -- you're using viewer-1.23, snowglobe, or viewer-2.0?
[11:54] Simon Linden: Can you change the object with the script's name? I"ll see where it shows up in scriopt usage
[11:54] Keystone Gray: I haven't updated my viewer since I reformatted last month.
[11:54] Keystone Gray: So probably 1.23
[11:54] lonetorus Habilis: its named colourspheres
[11:54] Keystone Gray: Yeah, 1.23.5.
[11:54] Andrew Linden: viewer-1.23 is no longer under active development.
[11:55] Andrew Linden: All dev work is going into snowglobe and viewer-2.0 -- mostly viewer-2.0
[11:55] Keystone Gray: Alright. I'll see if the issue persists with those.
[11:55] Calvin SecretSpy: wonderful, a rquird update every day for SL viewer Beta
[11:55] office hours is almost over
[11:55] Opensource Obscure: your days are very long Calvin! : )
[11:55] Andrew Linden: I think the next effort will be to merge viewer-2.0 work into snowglobe and maybe our server codebase to pick up some of the unit tests that have been added to our common libs
[11:56] Calvin SecretSpy: I don't use it often
[11:56] Arawn Spitteler: I haven't sen a lot of updates, but am not in the BSI
[11:56] Opensource Obscure: BSI is no more
[11:56] kafkas wave floor whispers: Precomputing...
[11:56] kafkas wave floor whispers: Done.
[11:56] Calvin SecretSpy: the prowser look isn't raly "me" and "me" is into pie menu :(
[11:56] Opensource Obscure: mmm pie.
[11:56] Memorial Dae: Pi!
[11:57] Arawn Spitteler: Pie Menu could be optionalised?
[11:57] Calvin SecretSpy: mmm, yes bring on the pie :3
[11:57] Andrew Linden sheds a tear for the pie menu.
[11:57] Simon Linden: The script time is pretty low for those ... I see 3 scripts with about 0.1 ms each
[11:57] Keystone Gray: Pi^Pi
[11:57] Arawn Spitteler: Ever see the Square Root of Ten?
[11:57] Simon Linden: Making lots of updates, of course :)
[11:57] Eddi Decosta: back
[11:57] Keystone Gray: Wait, will the Pie Menu be phased out?
[11:57] Keystone Gray: And if so, I demand a funeral.
[11:58] Rex Cronon: wb
[11:58] Opensource Obscure: hahah
[11:58] lonetorus Habilis: simon, same as before then 0.1 ms, but its so much faster now
[11:58] Andrew Linden: viewer-2.0 doesn't have a pie menu.
[11:58] Liisa Runo: yea, in v2 you need to click atleast 9 times to do anything
[11:58] Arawn Spitteler: Someone was asking me about Linden Jobs, earlier, and I couldn't find a page.
[11:58] Keystone Gray: Yeah, I know that. :(
[11:58] Simon Linden: Finding the jobs page is the first part of the application
[11:58] Keystone Gray: Hehe.
[11:58] Andrew Linden: http://lindenlab.com/employment/
[11:58] Opensource Obscure: it's on lindenlab.com Arawn
[11:58] Memorial Dae: I never have to click in v2.0 im using the air mouse option
[11:58] Memorial Dae: :p
[11:58] Arawn Spitteler: K, I'll mention that, nexxt time someone asks
[11:59] Rex Cronon: i heard that the developers working on v2 got hungry and had to eat thepie. is it true:)
[11:59] Memorial Dae: I am sure that is just a rumor!
[11:59] Arawn Spitteler: Unbtrue, they carefully hired devs with no taste for Pie
[11:59] Andrew Linden: viewer-2.0 received a lot of attention by UI designers and they ate the pie.
[12:00] Arawn Spitteler: You should see how they worked roations in SVC-93
[12:00] ROTATION and llSetRot incorrectly implemented for child prims
[12:00] Memorial Dae: That would make sense
