Overview

A laid back cat, more specifically a shadow tiger, who has worked in many capacities inside of Second Life. A virtual jack of all trades he now spends his days in Second Life pursuing jobs that pique his catlike interest. He is most often found working on scripts with one of his few building partners.

History

Early Experiences

Certified Lunasea began his Second Life experience wandering around looking at interesting sights and generally being a "noob". He was able to make friends relatively easily and seeing how his friends looked and the items they had obtained he became interested in gaining money for in-world purchases. He decided he would need to obtain a job inside Second Life in order to make the improvements to his avatar he wished to make.

His first job in Second Life was as security at a small nightclub. This job was short lived due to the club he worked at closing unexpectedly. He was not unemployed long as he shortly started work at two different nightclubs. At one he worked security again, and at the other he was placed in a management position. It was at this time that he began to tinker with building and minor scripts.

Creative Discoveries

Certified soon became enamored by the possibilities of Second Life and threw himself into his new interests. At the nightclub he was managing he was asked to help modify and later build a building for the business to operate in. This progressed to landscaping and eventually led back to scripting minor scripts.

As time progressed Cert, as those that knew him well referred to him, experienced a renewed interest in Second Life scripting. It was then that he began taking free scripting classes at Sensual Stoneworks under the tutelage of Toady Nakamura. The classes helped Cert to understand the LSL scripts more easily than his previous efforts and his efforts were soon rewarded as he began making greeter devices that could be user configured and in-world vendor items that mimicked some of the functions of what is now the Second Life Marketplace.

Recent Activity

Certified can now often be found working with Savage McBride on one of his many projects which can range from the mundane to the insanely complicated. He has recently been seen standing silently seemingly doing nothing while working deep in LSL scripting code. He has also worked recently on amusement park facades and sculpting using various programs and tools to complete complex looking builds.
