A big thanks!
Hi!
I'm pretty sure that you've not as active on the SL Wiki as a decade ago, but I just wanted to profusely thank you for your revisions/critiques of existing scripts, pointing out how badly written they are. That's precious knowledge you're giving us! It's just a pity that you find it so annoying; remember, not everybody has the same qualities and deep understanding of how LSL works as you do...
I, for one, certainly benefited from your explanations, and would like to encourage you to review even more code! The LSL Portal is full of all sorts of examples, but few reviews/critiques, so residents simply copying them will never know how good or how bad they are...
Perhaps we should somehow label those scripts with a warning, e.g. "untested", or "poorly written code", or "generates unnecessary lag", and reward the well-written ones with a badge saying "well-written & efficient code". What do you think?
