Note to UI Triagers

If you find new issues which might be suitable for solution through open source programmers (many UI issues tend to fall into that category) please add them to/link them from VWR-1577^[c] (Nicholaz 06:59, 20 July 2007 (PDT))

• VWR-1408^[c] - Votes: 4 - Online status viewable via Groups even if "Make my online status visible only to my Friends" is set - Cloud Bracken
  • Patch attached provides client side masking of online status in Group info Hamncheese Omlet.
    1. I'm online - For friends that can see my online status: display "online" (no change)
    2. I'm online - For friends that cannot see my online status: display today's date
    3. I'm online - For others not in my friends list: display today's date
    4. I'm offline - For all: last online date (no change)
  • Note patch affects what's shown on group info and role tabs
  • Note patch introduces yet another place where date is shown as US vs. international but needed to do so to match what is coming back from server for last online date for everyone else
  • Note patch should follow SVC-85^[c] and not before.
  • Should ask at triage if functionality should move to server side vs client side masking.
