Fast Track Import

(Move bugs here that have solid repros, or valid patches that you have reviewed)

Hot by Vote

High Voted Bugs

  • SVC-1459 - Votes: 22 - Mature avatars may be moved to PG telehubs on login, due to last region unavaliable - jessica hultcrantz
    • Seems to be more than a feature request than a bug, changed status on JIRA and if people disagree will re-add. GW (T|C) -- 22:47, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
    • Currently reopened. This effect is probably unintentional, and while not a bug in the strictest sense, should be triaged along. --Geneko Nemeth 00:11, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
  • VWR-8775 - Votes: 13 - Prim Deformation and Object Bounce/Jiggle at high altitudes - Poe Tatum
  • VWR-5985 - Votes: 12 - Sound starts to crackle sometimes - this includes parcel-stream & any UI sound, also it's affected by camera moving - Dandare Daniels
  • VWR-10929 - Votes: 11 - Unable to Load Picks and Tatoo on Avatars Body like Leotards that I am not wearing at all - Belle Twine

Imported

Resolved

  • VWR-5287 - Votes: 12 - Prims turning Phantom on their own - stacyanne homewood
    • Request for more info by Soft Linden posted after last time this came up on triage and no new info seems to have been posted since. GW (T|C) -- 22:47, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
  • SVC-2987 - Votes: 8 - Batch-converting scripts between LSL2 and Mono enables disabled scripts in an object - Creem Pye
    • Won't finish per Scouse Linden, seems to only have been reopened to allow continued voting. GW (T|C) -- 22:55, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
  • SVC-994 - Votes: 2 - World Map download unnecessarily slow. Map Data is not stored in Viewer - it should be. Off screen map data should not be downloaded till needed. Home map data to persist. - Al Supercharge
    • Does not appear to be a bug despite creator's classification as one (and my refusal to get into a fight over it). GW (T|C) -- 23:16, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
    • This may be the kind of issue the type "Improvement" may be suitable for.
  • VWR-3707 - Votes: 0 - Local Lighting exposes Invisiprims - eren padar

Creating An Agenda

Community members generally collaborate on the agenda for bug triage meetings. Here's how you can quickly fill in an otherwise blank agenda:

Setting up

  • Go to Bug_Triage/YYYY-MM-DD where YYYY is the four digit year code, MM is the two digit month code, and DD is the day code
  • Write and save {{subst:Triage Template}} as the only content of your new page. This will copy the complete markup from Template:Triage Template as a starting point for your agenda.
  • Fill in the relevant time, date, and location info for the upcoming meeting. The easiest way to do this is to copy the entire block of information from an earlier meeting of the same type (RC, regular, etc...) and modify the date and time as needed.

Populating the issue listings section(s)

<perl>

  1. !/usr/bin/env perl

use XML::Simple;

my $bugs = XMLin($ARGV[0]);

foreach my $item (@{$bugs->{channel}->{item}}) {

 $title = $item->{title};
 $title =~ s/^\^\*\] //;
 $key = $item->{key}->{content};
 $votes = $item->{votes};
 $reporter = $item->{reporter}->{username};
 print "* $key - Votes: $votes - $title - $reporter\n";

}

</perl>

  • Pick a reasonable cutoff point, and copy the output into the appropriate section of your newly created page.
