- [15:14] Marigold Devin: Ha.Ha.Ha.
- [15:14] Nalates Urriah: gross eck
- [15:14] Marigold Devin: Or it might be a cat allergy
- [15:14] Oskar Linden: sooo LeTigre with no real changes to simulator got promoted to main channel
- [15:14] Oskar Linden: so if you noticed nothing then yay
- [15:14] Oskar Linden: I'm wearing a suit today
- [15:15] Oskar Linden: in case I sounded more proper
- [15:15] Oskar Linden: *ahem*
- [15:15] Oskar LindenOskar Linden sits taller
- [15:15] Marigold Devin: Photo or we don't believe you ! ;P
- [15:15] Oskar Linden: :-)
- [15:15] Oskar Linden: black on black on black with a custom painted white tie featuring a stormtrooper
- [15:15] Oskar Linden: and a dapper hat
- [15:16] Oskar Linden: so but yeah
- [15:16] Marigold Devin: I can picture it now
- [15:16] Oskar Linden: BlueSteel and LeTigre
- [15:16] Oskar Linden: they have the same changes as before
- [15:16] Oskar Linden: with a fix for SVC-8124
- [15:16] Oskar Linden: we actually put the SVC-8124 fix on all RC's
- [15:17] Theresa Tennyson: It LOOKS like it works. Did you see my note in the forum on one of the Magnum sandboxes being non-Magnum?
- [15:17] Nalates Urriah: Did the Lab see an overall spike in bandwidth used?
- [15:18] Oskar Linden: yeah I haven't looked into it yet
- [15:18] Maestro Linden: Yeah, Magnum sandbox 1 and 4 are running on the main channel right now
- [15:18] Maestro Linden: I bugged support to move them back yesterday, but it looks like that didn't happen
- [15:18] Maestro Linden: I'll bug them again
- [15:19] Kallista Destiny: That way it will get promoted (most likley)
- [15:19] Oskar Linden: I just bugged coyot
- [15:19] Maestro Linden: Well, SVC-8146 is reported against the RCs (all of them)
- [15:19] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-8146] llRezAtRoot() does not set correct parameters (for sale) on rezzed object in Second Life RC BlueSteel 12.08.03.263047 https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8146
- [15:20] Maestro Linden: as are SVC-8177 and SVC-8178 (pretty much the same issue, I think)
- [15:20] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-8177] There is different behaivior between the RC channels and the main channel involving permissions, objects loose modify permissions https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8178
- [15:20] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-8178] Certain items change from no transfer to transfer after rezzing on an RC region https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8178
- [15:20] Maestro Linden: but those last two only seem to be affecting certain objects with 'corrupt' permissions, which nobody seems to be able to recreate in new objects
- [15:21] Kallista Destiny: I'm in touch with the group that makes the mention object... tyring to find if they can recreate it. with a new object.
- [15:22] Oskar Linden: repros help
- [15:22] Oskar Linden: especially when developers are like "dis aint brokd"
- [15:22] Oskar Linden: and maestro and I are like "well look at this"
- [15:22] Maestro Linden: Some devs are looking at the permissions issue to see how big it actually is. Kitto seems to consider SVC-8146 a blocker for promotion, but that ParcelOverlay fix might overrule it..
- [15:22] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-8146] llRezAtRoot() does not set correct parameters (for sale) on rezzed object in Second Life RC BlueSteel 12.08.03.263047 https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8146
- [15:23] Maestro Linden: We'll see :)
- [15:23] Oskar Linden: hard decisions
- [15:23] Kallista Destiny: well the object in question is clearly not working on all RC .. and is working on main
- [15:23] Oskar Linden: we'll see in the AM
- [15:23] Oskar Linden: *sigh*
- [15:23] Theresa Tennyson: Is the SVC-8124 fix something you can separate out?
- [15:23] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-8124] Excessive "ParcelOverlay reliable" messages sent by regions since last rolling restart (2012-08-08) https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8124
- [15:24] Maestro Linden: Probably, but with our process it would still need to spend a week in RC
- [15:24] Oskar Linden: we can do anything, but it all takes a week
- [15:24] Oskar Linden: we put it into each RC because we really wanted the fix to go out
- [15:24] Kallista Destiny: nods
- [15:25] Oskar Linden: silly bugs
- [15:25] Kallista Destiny: some people are getting hit in the pocketbook
- [15:25] Marigold Devin: I can't wait to see what happens when some of them get their bills.
- [15:26] Nalates Urriah: Did the Lab see a bandwidth use spike from 8124?
- [15:26] Oskar Linden: not that I know of
- [15:27] Nalates Urriah: I've been using NetWorx monitor and is consistently way be low what I see in the Viewer Stats... how accurate is the bandwidth meter in the viewer?
- [15:27] Kallista Destiny: One person said their bill was $45.00 higher now exactly what dollar they're reporting ... my guess Oz.
- [15:28] Oskar Linden: I have no idea how accurate the vwr bw monitor is
- [15:28] Oskar Linden: or what it measures
- [15:28] Marigold Devin: Anyway, if the fix has been included, there's nothing more to be done.
- [15:29] Marigold Devin: Although I felt a warning of some kind should have been put on the log in screens, just in case not everyone is on fixed usage tarrif etc
- [15:29] Nalates Urriah: NetWorx is showing 8k right now and my viewer is showing 24k... I suppose for 8124 it is all relative anyway
- [15:29] Marigold Devin: I don;'t even understand that sentence
- [15:30] Marigold Devin: Not many of us here today; it's more like group therapy. Should have brought yoga mats or something
- [15:30] Oskar Linden: :-)
- [15:30] Kallista Destiny: OMMMMMM
- [15:30] Oskar LindenOskar Linden hands Marigold a kitten
- [15:30] Nalates Urriah: Viewer stats show 24k bw and Networx monitor shows 8k of use...
- [15:31] Oskar Linden: also SVC-8136 got fixed
- [15:31] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-8136] Attachment point pelvis not being released https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8136
- [15:31] Marigold DevinMarigold Devin purrs and feels BP go down slowly but surely
- [15:31] Theresa Tennyson: You mentioned only seeing 12% of the viewer figure in Networx - that would suggest the viewer is in kiloBITS and Networx is in kiloBYTES.
- [15:31] Oskar Linden: in case your pelvic attachments were stuck
- [15:31] Kallista Destiny: Bits of data VS Bytes including headers?
- [15:31] Marigold DevinMarigold Devin looks down at my pelvic attachments - sh1t am I still wearing a strapon ^^^
- [15:31] Kallista Destiny: *chuckles*
- [15:31] Oskar Linden: :-)
- [15:32] Theresa Tennyson: It seemed mostly to be AKK horses...
- [15:32] Kallista Destiny: General region
- [15:32] Oskar Linden: hmm
- [15:32] Theresa TennysonTheresa Tennyson strokes Cappuccina's withers.
- [15:32] Marigold Devin: Just wanna say to Theresa, your advice to the dude about his kittycats on the forums was marvellous. Made me go "awww" in RL.
- [15:32] Marigold Devin: (or was it a dudess?)
- [15:32] Theresa Tennyson: Thank you...
- [15:33] Theresa Tennyson: I have one too. Or technically, my granddaughter (me on Agni) does.
- [15:33] Marigold Devin: Crikey Oskar, is it someone's last day at Linden Lab? Or have you got a good hacker in at Ahern/Morris? (or is it just clever photoshopping)?
- [15:33] Oskar Linden: what?
- [15:34] Marigold Devin: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Abuse-and-Griefing/I-was-logged-out-and-given-a-bizarre-error-that-contained/qaq-p/1646769
- [15:34] Marigold Devin: Sorry, it's so quiet here I popped out for a moment. Laughed at the photo he linked to though.
- [15:35] Oskar Linden: weeeeeeeeeeeird
- [15:36] Oskar Linden: I'll have someone look into it
- [15:36] Kadah CobaKadah Coba is finally not afk
- [15:36] Marigold Devin: Yeah weird. My alt has given him advice - but if you could - thanks.
- [15:36] Oskar Linden: yay kadah
- [15:37] Oskar Linden: magnum has some new fixes in it
- [15:37] Oskar Linden: SVC-7641
- [15:37] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-7641] Object on land sending excessive messages https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7641
- [15:37] Oskar Linden: SVC-8146
- [15:37] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-8146] llRezAtRoot() does not set correct parameters (for sale) on rezzed object in Second Life RC BlueSteel 12.08.03.263047 https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8146
- [15:37] Oskar Linden: SVC-8124
- [15:37] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-8124] Excessive "ParcelOverlay reliable" messages sent by regions since last rolling restart (2012-08-08) https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8124
- [15:37] Oskar Linden: and SVC-8136
- [15:37] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-8136] Attachment point pelvis not being released https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8136
- [15:37] Oskar Linden: some of the same fixes
- [15:37] Oskar Linden: some new
- [15:38] Lucia Nightfire: ...missed half teh meeting
- [15:39] Oskar Linden: Lucia: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Server_Beta_User_Group
- [15:39] Oskar Linden: that's the agenda
- [15:39] Oskar Linden: and we talked about cats
- [15:39] Oskar Linden: and Margold had to take high bloos pressure medicine
- [15:39] Oskar Linden: blood
- [15:40] Lucia Nightfire: did I miss any more ranting on SVC-8124?
- [15:40] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-8124] Excessive "ParcelOverlay reliable" messages sent by regions since last rolling restart (2012-08-08) https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-8124
- [15:40] Oskar Linden: it is fixed in all RC's
- [15:41] Oskar Linden: but you will still see it on main channel or on a region bordering a main channel
- [15:41] Oskar Linden: besides the upcoming threaded region crossing stage 2 code I don't think we have much upcoming
- [15:41] Marigold Devin: Passed you notecard so far Lucia, speed read if you can
- [15:42] Lucia Nightfire: faster than I'd get waiting on a copy of the OH on the web, heh
- [15:42] Lucia Nightfire: that'd be 2 weeks from now, lol
- [15:43] Theresa Tennyson: What's the ETA on the Phase 2 region-crossing project?
- [15:43] Marigold Devin: Oskar has to heavily edit it for all the obscenities (and cat conversations ) ;))
- [15:43] Kadah Coba: *Looks at agenda* What was wrong with llAttachToAvatarTemp?
- [15:43] Oskar Linden: stuff
- [15:43] Oskar Linden: security issues iirc
- [15:43] Kadah Coba: Ah
- [15:43] Oskar Linden: or something
- [15:43] Lucia Nightfire: llAttachToAvatarTemp() will fry v1 clients if you select the attachment, lol
- [15:43] Kadah Coba: It would be nice if there was a way on the LL viewer to detach rigged temp attachments.
- [15:43] Lucia Nightfire: and I'm not kidding
- [15:44] Kadah Coba: I don't have that issue, Lucia.
- [15:44] Marigold Devin: That's gonna be me fried then :((((((

- [15:44] Lucia Nightfire: forgive the tpv jira ref
- [15:44] Marigold Devin: But someone's gotta test with the old stuff until the last light goes out
- [15:45] Theresa Tennyson: Ooo, the sun went down right after you said that...
- [15:45] Kadah Coba: I'll try to repro that again, but I haven't been so far.
- [15:45] Theresa Tennyson: Is there a rough timeframe on the new avatar-rendering server thingies?
- [15:46] Marigold Devin: spooky - I am truly a witch
