- [12:10] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:10] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-14796 - Viewer 1.23.4 crashes from edit appearance menu if previous layer not saved before trying to replace

- [12:10] Moon Metty: viewer crashes, nice repro
- [12:10] xXdemonicpulseXx Parx: so many people 0.0
- [12:10] Soft Linden: My titler goes inactive when enough Lindens are nearby - assumes I'm in a meeting, and resets when they leave. So Rodney or whomever that was darting in and out made the titler keep resetting. Ha.
- [12:11] Evil Titler: Soft Linden needs a new title! To set it, anyone may say the text on /94. Soft is not able to change it.
- [12:11] Youri Ashton: 1.23.4 doesnt just crash on that JIRA, it crashes even out of the blue without warning or lead to it
- [12:11] Evil Titler: Soft Linden needs a new title! To set it, anyone may say the text on /24. Soft is not able to change it.

- [12:12] Soft Linden: Gone. Will add code to debounce it later. 3 lindens activates, 1 linden deactivates.
- [12:12] xXdemonicpulseXx Parx: whats going on here D:
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: thanks soft
- [12:12] Youri Ashton: 1.23.4 is far from stable, so is the last 2 snowglobe versions
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: makes cleaning up notes a pain :p
- [12:12] Ardy Lay: Follow the bouncing Linden(s).
- [12:12] Youri Ashton: this could however be something caused by communication between server and viewer somehow
- [12:13] Davy Linden: import this? if it repros reliably?
- [12:13] Soft Linden: I think this already exists internally
- [12:13] Soft Linden: But yeah.
- [12:13] Morgaine Dinova: Stability took a dive after 1.22.11 really.
- [12:13] Alexa Linden: moon said yes
- [12:13] Moon Metty: well, i tried it once
- [12:13] Alexa Linden: so I'd import

- [12:13] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-15114 - Graphic features, such as local lights, are unnecessarily restricted on graphic cards/platforms that can support them due to erroneous settings files. Please fix for next release and document.
- [12:13] Youri Ashton: its hard to repro, it just accures without warning
- [12:13] Soft Linden: Didn't we have this one last week?
- [12:14] Davy Linden: yeah
- [12:14] Squirrel Wood: deja vu, yep
- [12:14] Soft Linden: I think the resolution was to import and pass to Nyx, since he'd already commented on it
- [12:14] Ellla McMahon: VWR-14796 is a reproducable crash
- [12:14] JIRA-helper: http//jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-14796:
- [#VWR-14796] 1.23.4 crashes: from edit appearance menu if previous layer not saved before trying to replace
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: anything new or update date?
- [12:14] Harleen Gretzky: Yes, just marked as triaged though, so it will keep coming up
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: true
- [12:14] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:14] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-716 - Particles -> Inappropriate Alpha Sorting - as of 1.15.x

- [12:15] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1746 - An llSensor() whose scanning radius covers <0,0,0> will detect any avatar that is sitting within a sim.

- [12:16] Youri Ashton: hmm
- [12:16] Youri Ashton: didnt notice this one
- [12:16] xstorm Radek: lol that do not sound like a bug but a spy tool lol
- [12:16] Liisa Runo: llSimAgentKeyList();
- [12:16] Youri Ashton: i often use a avi with jetpack and i didnt see it (so far)
- [12:16] Soft Linden: Whoops, scanning back further
- [12:16] Moon Metty: it reminded me of a bug Yann reported
- [12:16] Moon Metty: avatars and attachments appearing at 0, 0, 0
- [12:16] Soft Linden: Let's import this per Darling's comment
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:16] Youri Ashton: could be driver related then?
- [12:16] Davy Linden: I wasn't able to repro this last week
- [12:17] Moon Metty: but in that bugreport it says the avatars are not picked up by the sensor
- [12:17] Youri Ashton: ill attach the jetpack, we can repro here (it it does repro)
- [12:17] Soft Linden: Ha. I spy a TWO_PI. That's not needed here.
- [12:17] Moon Metty: do you have the jira number handy, Yann?
- [12:17] Soft Linden: Nothing is more than PI degrees away from the forward vector.
- [12:17] Davy Linden: youri, we're on SVC-1746
- [12:17] JIRA-helper: http//jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1746:
- [#SVC-1746] llSensor() whose: scanning radius covers <0,0,0> will detect any avatar that is sitting within a sim.
- [12:17] Questar Utu: Some people don't realise that sensors use two halves.
- [12:18] xstorm Radek: lol PI
- [12:18] Questar Utu: PI in rotation only covers half.
- [12:18] Morgaine Dinova: 6s freeze, let's see who arrived
- [12:18] Soft Linden: Let's import per darling's comment. If we can't repro, we can ask Darling to show us the content.
- [12:18] Davy Linden: ok
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: kk
- [12:18] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1388 - Avatar "Broken Back"

- [12:19] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: I will tie to original one
- [12:19] Davy Linden: no - it's happened to mme recently - no one else near
- [12:19] Questar Utu: It was completely random at the time when it happened to me.
- [12:19] Youri Ashton: think this resident received a animation that did this
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: yes
- [12:19] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1737 - MANY Residents Not Appearing in New Search
- [12:19] xstorm Radek: ? how did it start ?
- [12:19] Youri Ashton: ask to be sure
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: much like the eyes bugging
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: totally random
- [12:19] xstorm Radek: no script attack ?
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: has come and gone over the years
- [12:20] Questar Utu: Could someone note what I'm saying? <_< The folding in half thing did happen a while back, wasn't any AO or animation used, just happened.
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: I would doubt it
- [12:20] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Davy said the ame thing.
- [12:20] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: same*
- [12:20] xstorm Radek: well then its the old bent in half bug yet again
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: and I haven't seen a body folder that doesn't mash them more
- [12:20] Youri Ashton: wasnt there a similar JIRA ?
- [12:20] Questar Utu: Ah.
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: quite a few over they years
- [12:20] Soft Linden: On this, it would help to start getting system info, etc. Could be a hardware skinning bug or similar
- [12:20] Liisa Runo: i saw the folding happen randomly to everyone in area, last night, relog fixed it, i was only one able to see the folding
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: I will tie to the others
- [12:21] Questar Utu: There were two others near me at the time it happened, but this was, at least a year or two ago.
- [12:21] xstorm Radek: i have seen it befor
- [12:21] Sharron Schuman: i havn't seen that in some time
- [12:21] Youri Ashton: just over a year old as well
- [12:21] Soft Linden: There's not enough here for an engineer to spend time on it, with such a low vote count.
- [12:21] xstorm Radek: how did the bug get out ?
- [12:21] Soft Linden: NMI - system info, anything else about what they were doing when it happened
- [12:21] Davy Linden: ok

- [12:22] Davy Linden: 08
- [12:22] Soft Linden: Over a year old - any avatars not currently showing would help
- [12:22] Davy Linden: still happening?
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: ooph
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: ya
- [12:22] xstorm Radek: ?????? MANY Residents Not Appearing in New Search
- [12:23] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-269 - Sending an instant message to an object using llInstantMessage will result in an email to the owner with IM->Email checked in preferences, regardless of owner's online status
- [12:23] xstorm Radek: what if new people are turning off the search for them
- [12:23] Soft Linden: This should be imported
- [12:23] Davy Linden: ok
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: kk
- [12:23] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2936 - Duplicate inventory names inside objects don't append when max length reached (breaks scripts)
- [12:24] Youri Ashton: script needs to be added as well, just to see if its working propperly or not
- [12:24] Soft Linden: Import this too, please
- [12:24] xstorm Radek: what script ?
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:24] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3199 - llSetLinkTexture(LINK_THIS, foo, bar) permssions handling broken for given objects
- [12:24] xstorm Radek: did it have a stop command ?
- [12:24] Moon Metty: a no mod item does get a number appended, renamimh the item
- [12:24] Moon Metty: renaming*
- [12:24] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: is reminded of the audio player called "Foobar2000".

- [12:26] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: I think Que is on it?
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: :p
- [12:26] Questar Utu: Me? No, I'm just making something. <_<;
- [12:26] Youri Ashton: empty JIRA is good :)
- [12:26] Soft Linden: I assume this needs to be a no-copy texture
- [12:26] Soft Linden: For the recipient
- [12:26] Imaze Rhiano: at least Morgaine is able to rezz object that I made and using that llSetLinkTexture
- [12:26] Youri Ashton: shows LL is doing its job in fixing things :p
- [12:27] Questar Utu: Don't mind me.. <o < I'll move this out of the ring if needed.
- [12:27] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:28] xstorm Radek: thats texture one im a bit lost on
- [12:28] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:28] xstorm Radek: what are they trying to do ?
- [12:29] xstorm Radek: if they use the texture UUID will it not work better ?
- [12:29] Questar Utu: Likely set the texture with a texture that's got permissions not allowed.
- [12:29] xstorm Radek: and if they use the UUID texture they will not have that problem
- [12:30] Moon Metty: yes
- [12:30] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: ...interesting texture you've got there, Soft. >.>
- [12:30] Soft Linden: Anyone willing to take and try rezzing this?
- [12:30] Soft Linden: I'll pass you a copy, just say who
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: who
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: j/k
- [12:30] Aimee Trescothick: go for it
- [12:30] Moon Metty: textures have to be full perm to apply from inventory
- [12:30] Youri Ashton: oh, please do send me a copy of the texture soft! :)
- [12:30] xstorm Radek: i will take a copy please
- [12:30] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: who :p

- [12:30] Arabella Steadham: me also please
- [12:30] Soft Linden: gave you Foo Test.
- [12:30] Sharron Schuman: me to please
- [12:30] Moon Metty: it makes selling texture packs impossible
- [12:31] Soft Linden: Try resetting scripts in the object
- [12:31] xstorm Radek: may i please have a copy i love bugs
- [12:31] Aimee Trescothick: can't reset, it's no mod

- [12:32] Alexa Linden: I can open the pic inside
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: or testure
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: but can't open the script
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: texture*
- [12:33] Soft Linden: Alexa - you declined the permissive version :3
- [12:33] xstorm Radek: Baz (no copy) (no Mod) (no Trans)
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: ack sorry
- [12:33] Morgaine Dinova: Not being able to reset a script you own just because it's no-mod seems wrong.
- [12:33] Harleen Gretzky: The weird thing about this is it only happens with llSetLinkTexture, llSetTexture works fine
- [12:33] Soft Linden: gave you Foo Test.
- [12:33] xstorm Radek: New script is the same in that box
- [12:33] Aimee Trescothick: hmm, i got notification of the second one, and clicked accept, but it's not appeared in my inventory
- [12:33] xstorm Radek: you can not reset scripts thats no C,M,T
- [12:34] Ardy Lay: pending downloads
- [12:34] Moon Metty: i see Harleen
- [12:34] Moon Metty: so it's inconsistent too
- [12:34] Soft Linden: Really could have saved time on this by having it reset on getting a new owner :3
- [12:34] Youri Ashton: Foo Test Permissive: Texture not copiable.
- Foo Test Permissive: Could not find texture 'Baz'.
- [12:35] Soft Linden: Okay, there's one.
- [12:35] Aimee Trescothick: Foo Test Permissive: Texture not copiable.
- Foo Test Permissive: Could not find texture 'Baz'
- [12:35] Youri Ashton: just received that one
- [12:35] Soft Linden: Let's take this in.
- [12:35] Davy Linden: kk
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: on second box, I was able to delete and save script
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:35] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3697 - Avatar with home point on group land should have home point reset to welcome area when they leave/are ejected from the group
- [12:35] Ardy Lay: ... or The Corn Field. :-)
- [12:36] Moon Metty: :)
- [12:36] Youri Ashton: hmm.. weird bug
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: interesting
- [12:36] Soft Linden: Is there still the issue where you can get to land you're banned from if you have a home set there? I think that's the real issue to fix here if so.
- [12:36] Youri Ashton: some testing perhaps?
- [12:36] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Yes it is.
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: would it have more to do with how the land has LM persset?
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: I don't think you can with banning
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: and that's easy to test
- [12:37] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: I've seen it some months ago. Someone was estate banned in FN but could still get in due to having a home in there.
- [12:37] Youri Ashton: i cant understand why it even would kick anyone in the first place, let alone ban
- [12:37] Youri Ashton: think a repro is in order
- [12:37] xstorm Radek: there is no such place as Harrys The Corn Field
- [12:37] Ardy Lay: -Harrys
- [12:37] Soft Linden: Let's won't-fix this, and JIRA the real issue. TP home should check parcel access.
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:38] Youri Ashton: lol, that blocked the camera for a min :p
- [12:38] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-10498 - Scripts "Revert" to Prior Versions after Save
- [12:39] xstorm Radek: OMG!! i hope not
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: you're to young to be swearing mister
- [12:39] Ardy Lay: That's a heavy HUD
- [12:39] Youri Ashton: clean cache, restart SL or reboot even, try again
- [12:39] Moon Metty: it's about an attachment ...
- [12:40] Questar Utu: It doesn't revert the script you see though, so you can keep trying to save it, or copy and paste it at a later time.
- [12:40] Youri Ashton: attachements need to be placed on the ground first, else scripts are hard to edit in laggy areas
- [12:40] Questar Utu: I've had that when the assets play up.
- [12:40] xstorm Radek: script is to long
- [12:40] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Paste scripts to Notepad for safety...
- [12:40] Morgaine Dinova: People need to stop this "Clear cache" recommendation. It's not going to scale into the future. If the cache is broken, fix it.
- [12:40] Questar Utu: Yeah.
- [12:40] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Or whatever text editor you hav.
- [12:40] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: have*
- [12:40] Youri Ashton: Created: 14/Nov/08
- [12:40] Youri Ashton: last message februari 2009
- [12:40] xstorm Radek: so they must be getting a text time out
- [12:41] Youri Ashton: think so as well xstorm
- [12:41] Imaze Rhiano: 70 odd scripts... that should be ILLEGAL!
- [12:41] xstorm Radek: think about it 70 odd scripts trying to save ?
- [12:41] Liisa Runo: usually we need tons of scripts to beat some silly limits ;)
- [12:41] Soft Linden: Let's take this in to investigate. I suspect they're detaching before the script has saved - we could add a guard for that.
- [12:41] xstorm Radek: in what langth of time ?
- [12:41] Youri Ashton: is there by any chance a asset server problem around that time?
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:42] Youri Ashton: could be a problem as well
- [12:42] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12400 - App/Roaming Files Containing Chat Logs Deleting Upon Installation
- [12:42] Soft Linden: Enjoy your "Can't save - compile pending" error, bishes!
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:42] Soft Linden: Can't detach, even.
- [12:42] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: W'ell just lay the blame on you, Soft. :P
- [12:42] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: We'll*
- [12:42] xstorm Radek: wwwhhhhaaa ?
- [12:42] Yann Dufaux: wirless saving is more safe
- [12:42] Moon Metty: hehe
- [12:43] Youri Ashton: saving logs to its own version? on new install add suffix?
- [12:43] Morgaine Dinova: Why not decouple saving and compiling?
- [12:43] Soft Linden: So, the issue here was that the settings directory changed in 1.22
- [12:43] Youri Ashton: could solve it
- [12:43] xstorm Radek: thats not SL problem its user error
- [12:44] xstorm Radek: 2 years of chat logs ?
- [12:44] Soft Linden: But really, the viewer could have migrated all the log files from the old directory to the new directory. A bit late for that now, though.
- [12:44] xstorm Radek: are they nuts not to backup ?
- [12:44] Soft Linden: I expect the chat logs are still there - just located in the other user directory.
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:44] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Heh.
- [12:44] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: I have SL to put my logs onto another drive.
- [12:44] Youri Ashton: something like: SL/logs/viewer name+ version/log file
- [12:44] Morgaine Dinova: Uh oh. now you've woken Squirrel with "nuts"
- [12:44] Soft Linden: It's too late to do anything with this now though. We're not going to have people migrating directly from 1.21 to the next viewer we release.
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: looks up
- [12:45] xstorm Radek: yes pop them on to a USB drive for backup or raid
- [12:45] Soft Linden: This wouldn't have been an issue for anyone using a non-default log location.
- [12:45] xstorm Radek: thats right
- [12:45] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Probably why I was never affected.
- [12:45] xstorm Radek: i use a USB drive
- [12:45] Youri Ashton: could be soft
- [12:45] Moon Metty: me neither
- [12:46] Youri Ashton: repro may be a good idea to do
- [12:46] Soft Linden: Anyway. Can won't-finish on this. We can't undo the 1.22 and 1.23 migrations that already happened.
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:46] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13022 - ubuntu 9.04 delay in voice microphone bigger and bigger with time
- [12:46] Morgaine Dinova: Soft: time travel unit broken?
- [12:46] xstorm Radek: can we just put this in the case of user error ?
- [12:46] Soft Linden: Time travel unit not feature complete. Had to put time in on too many other issues here. All your fault!
- [12:46] Squirrel Wood: I have noticed that increasing delay on windows systems too
- [12:47] Morgaine Dinova: Hehe
- [12:47] xstorm Radek: every one in the world must know to keep backups
- [12:47] Squirrel Wood: though it happens only occassionally
- [12:47] Squirrel Wood: and in no reproducable way
- [12:47] Youri Ashton: thats a error caused in ubuntu i think, doesnt sound like SL viewer
- [12:47] Soft Linden: The last one was not user error. It was an LL screw up. But it's a screwup that's already happened.
- [12:47] Imaze Rhiano: stop talking about backups... I just lost my tertiary computer because I haven't hug him enough :(
- [12:47] Youri Ashton: could be a faulty driver or sound card infact
- [12:48] xstorm Radek: lol
- [12:48] xstorm Radek: lmao@Imaze
- [12:48] Youri Ashton: see, thats why your pc starts loosing its memory, you hug it to tightly so it wont get any fresh air :p
- [12:48] Soft Linden: Ha. On this, I wonder if the sample rate is mismatched. I bet others are hearing them speaking slow and deep if so :3
- [12:49] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Eep.
- [12:49] Ardy Lay: Send them to Echo Canyon.
- [12:49] Youri Ashton: my voice is messed up aswell, but on skype or other programs there are no problems what so ever
- [12:49] Soft Linden: Not a bad idea, Ardy. They could go to Echo Canyon and see if their voice sounds pitched correctly
- [12:49] Youri Ashton: think xstorm can tell more how my voice is coming over
- [12:50] xstorm Radek: why not just give it to rodney to have him teach them about drive path and backups ?
- [12:50] xstorm Radek: what voice ?
- [12:50] Youri Ashton: my vocie
- [12:50] Youri Ashton: boive*
- [12:50] Youri Ashton: ugh, typos
- [12:50] Sharron Schuman: lol
- [12:50] Morgaine Dinova: I haven't heard a samplerate fault in either direction (chipmunks nor growling) since FMOD got left behind.
- [12:50] Rodney Linden: gave what to me?
- [12:50] xstorm Radek: can not hear a thing
- [12:50] Rodney Linden: my voice is down, so ive im missing a voice convo, sorry.
- [12:50] Ardy Lay: Voice Echo Canyon, Public region available for testing voice through an echo channel. You will only be able to hear yourself and no one else.
- [12:50] Youri Ashton: lol
- [12:51] Questar Utu: :D
- [12:51] Imaze Rhiano: I don't think that sample speed could cause 10 seconds delay
- [12:51] Youri Ashton: i got SL sound muted atm
- [12:51] xstorm Radek: is voice on ?
- [12:51] Youri Ashton: not atm
- [12:52] Questar Utu: finished my detector. <o <
- [12:52] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: lol hon
- [12:52] xstorm Radek: eeppp my ears
- [12:52] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: A lot different to what I had expected from you. :p
- [12:52] Questar Utu: How so? :o
- [12:53] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: expected something bigger. >.>
- [12:53] Davy Linden: what shall we do with this one? NMI and suggest echo canyon?
- [12:53] Questar Utu: Small for now due to the crowd. :p
- [12:53] Questar Utu: And it's dampened.
- [12:53] Soft Linden: Davy - I'd do that.
- [12:53] Arabella Steadham: your voice sounded as if there was a lot of interference Qestar
- [12:54] Soft Linden: Ask them to specifically check their pitch
- [12:54] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Que wasn't talking.
- [12:54] Questar Utu: I didn't use voice. o.o
- [12:54] Arabella Steadham: well whoever it was
- [12:54] Davy Linden: that was youri
- [12:54] Youri Ashton: that was me i guess
- [12:54] Questar Utu: Youri's top of the active speakers list.
- [12:54] Arabella Steadham: ah ok
- [12:54] Bug Triage: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13286 - Crash/hang when enabling anisotropic filtering or anti-aliasing
- [12:54] Arabella Steadham: I don't have my list open
- [12:54] Youri Ashton: my voice is messed up in SL, but on anything else, no problem
- [12:54] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: ...
- [12:54] Davy Linden: lol soft
- [12:54] Youri Ashton: lol
- [12:55] Youri Ashton: my voice should be clear as well, not sure whats going on. tried everything
- [12:55] Questar Utu: This thing's actually going along with the song I'm listening to a bit. o.o
- [12:55] Davy Linden: squirrel, you sound lower pitched than usual ;P
- [12:55] xstorm Radek: eeeeppppp woody Squirrel ?
- [12:55] Soft Linden: All set on that?
- [12:55] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: didn't hear Squirrel. o.o
- [12:55] Youri Ashton: not just anti anilazing
- [12:56] Youri Ashton: enable OpenGL vertex buffer objects does the same
- [12:56] Soft Linden: Are we done or ?
- [12:57] Soft Linden: Seem to be just - sittin' here :3
- [12:57] Moon Metty: welcome back Harleen
- [12:57] Morgaine Dinova: I bet the crash is caused by the same thing as https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-14301 --- font reload in GL at the time, as a result of GL reset.
- [12:57] [[User:JIRA-helper: [#VWR-14301|JIRA-helper: [#VWR-14301]]:
- [12:57] Harleen Gretzky: ty :)
- [12:57] Ardy Lay: Harleen, was that a positive repro crash?
- [12:57] Morgaine Dinova: And 14302
- [12:57] Youri Ashton: I even had the "blue screen of death" with that damn vertex buffer
- [12:57] Yann Dufaux: crash? what is? lol
- [12:58] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Youri - ATI?
- [12:58] Harleen Gretzky: No, I am on Windows
- [12:58] Youri Ashton: lol, how did you know? :p
- [12:58] Youri Ashton: prolly drivers, i know
- [12:58] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Because I ditched a HD3850 because it didn't work.
- [12:58] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: ATI blame LL.
- [12:58] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: LL blame ATI.
- [12:58] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: It's never going to be fixed. :/
- [12:58] Youri Ashton: i update em every time, every time it gets fixed and a new version of sl messes it up again for some reason
- [12:58] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: I spewed out 90 for a 9800GT so I could pull more than 10 FPS.
- [12:59] Youri Ashton: i know it never will
- [12:59] Soft Linden: Let's import this guy
- [12:59] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:59] Morgaine Dinova: I've given up on the crashing on font reload in Linux, as there's no sign it's going to be addressed despite the diagnosis. I just hack the settings files to get the setup as required instead.
- [12:59] Davy Linden: ok - and we're out of time, fols
- [12:59] Davy Linden: folks
- [12:59] Youri Ashton: ATI even blocked me on their email server because i knew to much
- [12:59] Davy Linden: thanks, everyone
- [12:59] Moon Metty: thanks Davy :)
- [12:59] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Just don't buy an ATI card.
- [12:59] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: They're crap.
- [13:00] Youri Ashton: im going back to NVIDIA, never had a problem with that
- [13:00] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Support for OpenGL 3.1 - suuuuure.
- [13:00] Yann Dufaux: thanks Davy!
- [13:00] xstorm Radek: ATI has to many small problems
- [13:00] Alexa Linden: thanks everyone for your help and knowledge!
- [13:00] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: See you. :o
- [13:00] Youri Ashton: thanks for having us!
