Selected object information

Shows the number of objects selected, their total land impact, and the remaining capacity of the current parcel. See Build Tools - Advanced for more information.

Content tab

Displays a list of all objects, LSL scripts, notecards, and other inventory items contained in this object. An object can hold any kind of inventory you can hold in your own inventory. However, an object can't hold nested folders; dragging a folder onto an inventory's contents simply transfers or copies the items to the same level under Contents.

Also unlike your own inventory, an object can't contain two items with exactly the same name. If you attempt to add an item with the same name as an item already in the object, the new item is renamed with a number on the end to distinguish it from the existing item or items.

New Script   Creates a new LSL script called "New Script" in the Contents section of this tab.
Permissions   Opens Edit_Content_Permissions, which allows you to edit the next-owner permissions of everything in this object's inventory.
Contents   Lists all inventory contained in this object. You can right-click each item for a list of options for that inventory item, which is a simplified version of the inventory's own context menu:
  • Open - Behaves according to the specific item type: For example, Open previews a notecard or LSL script for viewing or editing. Does nothing for certain items like clothes. Open in Inventory contents does nothing for certain item types - EXT-5342
  • Properties - Opens the item's Inventory Object Profile in the sidebar.
  • Rename - Renames the selected inventory item.
  • Delete - Deletes the selected inventory item. If the item is copyable, no confirmation is given and you can't undo.
