- [14:03] Bambers Linden: here's the agenda: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Wednesday_Agenda
- [14:03] Yann Dufaux: Bambers, i have no choice too :)
- [14:03] Bambers Linden: first up: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13045
- [14:03] Moon Metty: before we start
- [14:03] Moon Metty: i have a question
- [14:04] Bambers Linden: sure Moon, shoot
- [14:04] Moon Metty: is it possible to post the agenda earlier?
- [14:04] Moon Metty: i often look at the agenda and prepare
- [14:04] Bambers Linden: it is possible
- [14:04] Techwolf Lupindo: made it
- [14:04] Moon Metty: it's also easier to follow the triage
- [14:04] Dirk Talamasca: Did she say despair?
- [14:04] Moon Metty: (when prepared)
- [14:04] Yann Dufaux: Bambers, i have make a proprer re-install in 2 time, and i have same result in 1.23pn
- [14:05] Bambers Linden: but this way I can keep you on your toes
- [14:05] Moon Metty: lol hmmm
- [14:05] Dirk Talamasca: heh
- [14:05] Moon Metty: ok, that was my question
- [14:05] Bambers Linden: but I'll try and post an earlier version in future
- [14:05] Moon Metty: cool
- [14:05] Bambers Linden: thank you Moon :)
- [14:05] Bambers Linden: ok, first up: Grey square in IM/friend list, Inventory or Preferances panel
- [14:06] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13045
- [14:06] Yann Dufaux: i can't say a clear reprod for this bugs ..
- [14:06] Gellan Glenelg: I've seen this or similar - some of the UI icons seem to need to be downloaded, rather than part of the code ... so on a fresh install, they take time to appear
- [14:07] Techwolf Lupindo: I get this when I work really fast on the viewer before it has a changed to load all the UI stuff.
- [14:07] Moon Metty: are these normal textures with an uuid?
- [14:07] Techwolf Lupindo: changed/chance
- [14:07] Bambers Linden: yeah, this might be expected
- [14:07] Moon Metty: maybe they have to be re-uploaded
- [14:07] Bambers Linden: some textures are pre-loaded otheres aren't loaded till needed
- [14:07] Gellan Glenelg: are they STAYING grey, yann?
- [14:08] Xaria Mistwallow: friendly greetings!
- [14:08] Cummere Mayo: i can repo this.
- [14:08] Bambers Linden: yeah, Yann - do they eventually resolve?
- [14:08] Bambers Linden: Cummere has a repro. Anyone else?
- [14:08] Xaria Mistwallow: I hope this meeting will not be disturbed by simcrashes
- [14:08] Bambers Linden: Hi Xaria
- [14:09] Xaria Mistwallow: hi Bambers Linden =)
- [14:09] Yann Dufaux: updated, with new picture, sorry
- [14:09] Xaria Mistwallow: understood my IM bambers?
- [14:09] Dirk Talamasca: Hiya Xaria
- [14:09] Bambers Linden: received.
- [14:09] Xaria Mistwallow: hi dirk =)
- [14:09] Techwolf Lupindo: arg...MISC-2723 was closed. :-(
- [14:10] Xaria Mistwallow: the doc team meeting got disturbed a lot of times, in total around 5 or 6 times a crash
- [14:10] Bambers Linden: with cummere and Yann reproing (I'm on default skin) I say import
- [14:10] Xaria Mistwallow: we had to proceed elsewhere
- [14:11] Alexa Linden: ok
- [14:11] Xaria Mistwallow: I thought it would be nice to inform you aswell since the crashes were in this area
- [14:11] Cummere Mayo: bambers do you need more pics form me or are the ones others provided enough?
- [14:11] Yann Dufaux: Bamber, i need to take my default skin, because if i change with this silver i have this result :)
- [14:11] Yann Dufaux: thank:)
- [14:11] Bambers Linden: I think the ones provided are enough
- [14:12] Bambers Linden: cool, OK - next up:
- [14:12] Cummere Mayo: ok well i commented that i can repo it. and ill ad my vote
- [14:12] Xaria Mistwallow: will be right back.
- [14:12] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12693
- [14:12] Bambers Linden: RelWithDebInfo build fails on MacOS due to the too large size of output
- [14:12] Cummere Mayo: cant repo. i dont have a mac :P
- [14:13] Xaria Mistwallow: bk
- [14:13] Bambers Linden: this is on 10.4 only - anyone here running Panther?
- [14:14] Moon Metty: i don't even have a sitting panther
- [14:14] Cummere Mayo: looks around and at the lack of response tentatively says, mark triage maybe ask qa to look at it, but hold off on import?
- [14:15] Bambers Linden: well, we have no sitting panthers or Crouching Dragon32s
- [14:15] Bambers Linden: mark triaged
- [14:15] Alexa Linden: k
- [14:16] Cummere Mayo: maybe we should ask for more repos too
- [14:16] Bambers Linden: yeah, perhaps, but just votes if it's 10.4
- [14:16] Bambers Linden: next up
- [14:17] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12960 - Fisheye effect camera
- [14:17] Gellan Glenelg: warning: HUGE file
- [14:17] Bambers Linden: this isn't just 1.23 - this is in everything back to 1.19 isn't it?
- [14:17] Bambers Linden: (is this the same as the Hitchcock Psycho-cam bug?)
- [14:18] Xaria Mistwallow: looks like it
- [14:18] Cummere Mayo: perhaps. link, update old and resolve as dupe
- [14:18] Cummere Mayo: is my vote
- [14:18] Gellan Glenelg: it does look (as harleen suggested) like they pressed ctrl-8
- [14:18] Yuu Nakamichi: I think someone reported this atQarl OH last Friday as well
- [14:19] Bambers Linden: yeah, harleen's comment wraps it up. yeah, dupe and old
- [14:19] Yuu Nakamichi: Moon, do you remmeber who that was?
- [14:19] Moon Metty: no sorry
- [14:19] Gellan Glenelg: but they claim they reset zoom
- [14:20] Bambers Linden: wait, yeah gellan. this may be different actually
- [14:20] Cummere Mayo: backs up her vote not catching that
- [14:21] Bambers Linden: unless it's a tiny avatar?
- [14:21] Gellan Glenelg: when i get the file, I'll attach a jpg version
- [14:21] Cummere Mayo: that didnt look like a tiny
- [14:21] Bambers Linden: are we changing our mind and importing? Or should we get more info as a repro would help
- [14:22] Vista Questi: I'm using linux, and that happens all the time when i scroll zoom in alot, but it always goes away when i zoom back a bit
- [14:22] Cummere Mayo: i'd say nmi
- [14:22] Alexa Linden: I can haveQA test
- [14:22] Cummere Mayo: ild ask for a repo and attach to mondays agenda
- [14:22] Bambers Linden: Tayra seems to claim this happened on login though
- [14:22] Vista Questi: I've never considered it to be a bug, 'cause it isn't sticky
- [14:22] Vista Questi: ah! i missed that . nvm, then. :)
- [14:22] Gellan Glenelg: it doesn't look zoomed to me - just camera further from AV than usual
- [14:23] Xaria Mistwallow: more info could always help out, isnt it? but in the meanwhile do try to figure out whats going on
- [14:23] Bambers Linden: ok, NMI then
- [14:23] Alexa Linden: k
- [14:23] Bambers Linden: a repro - perhaps they're changing a setting then relogging and something's awry
- [14:23] Bambers Linden: next up
- [14:23] Cummere Mayo: the next one looks like ramzi already asked for more info on. and it looks like no reply yet
- [14:24] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12914 - SL hangs quite often when doing a snapshot
- [14:24] Xaria Mistwallow: thats pretty easy one i think
- [14:24] Cummere Mayo: ramzi asked for more info no reply on it
- [14:24] Xaria Mistwallow: didnt we do the same one last week?
- [14:24] Bambers Linden: yeah, new PN is already out. Does it still happen? NMI and move on
- [14:24] Bambers Linden: probably Xaria
- [14:24] Bambers Linden: :)
- [14:25] Bambers Linden: I think I mis-sorted a couple too so there may be repeats unnecessarily
- [14:25] Xaria Mistwallow: anyways, taking a screenshot using PRINTSCREEn button doesnt take long, but from SL to the servers or PC will due lag and time to get the data ready
- [14:25] Alexa Linden: :) all the faster we move then
- [14:25] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12965
- [14:25] Cummere Mayo: next one import
- [14:25] Cummere Mayo: i can repo
- [14:25] Bambers Linden: Copy to inventory from notecard crash viewer
- [14:25] Xaria Mistwallow: pretty much the same as any explorer, has the same issues
- [14:26] Yann Dufaux: hmm, interesting bug :)
- [14:26] Yann Dufaux: crash viewer , nice:)
- [14:26] Cummere Mayo: yeah link this to all the older ones and import it. and please make that a priority to fix for 1.24!
- [14:26] Moon Metty: open an embedded object?
- [14:26] Moon Metty: hmmm
- [14:26] Techwolf Lupindo: Hmm...I need to do this and add a full bt to it. What version of viewer would you like?
- [14:26] Xaria Mistwallow: hi zen
- [14:26] Techwolf Lupindo: bt=backtrace
- [14:26] Bambers Linden: workaround: Don't Ask somebody to put some fullperm object into a ntoecqard and pass it to you, open object from notecard and select "copy to inventory".
- [14:26] Moon Metty: hey Zen
- [14:27] Harleen Gretzky: Not open drag and drop into inventory
- [14:27] Zen Linden: heya, sorry i'm late, had another meeting
- [14:27] Bambers Linden: hi zen, no worries
- [14:27] Xaria Mistwallow: no worries =)
- [14:27] Dirk Talamasca: Hiya Zen
- [14:27] Bambers Linden: and I'll stop being flippant
- [14:27] Yann Dufaux: crap i can't build
- [14:27] Entering god: mode, level 150
- [14:27] Arawn Spitteler: Simon's is 60
- [14:27] Alexa Linden: build on :)
- [14:28] Bambers Linden: thanks alexa
- [14:28] Bambers Linden: proceed to crash yourselves.. :)
- [14:28] Dirk Talamasca: Wonder Twin Powers ACTIVATE!
- [14:28] Moon Metty: lol
- [14:29] Bambers Linden: anyone 'splode?
- [14:29] Xaria Mistwallow: as in using sploders?
- [14:29] Techwolf Lupindo: I need to get a notecard first.
- [14:30] Yann Dufaux: hmm, no crash
- [14:30] Bambers Linden: no Xaria - sorry. Just meant did anybody crash
- [14:30] Xaria Mistwallow: nope
- [14:30] Moon Metty: i'm alive
- [14:30] Xaria Mistwallow: not me atleast
- [14:30] Dirk Talamasca: No crash here
- [14:30] Vista Questi: not in he past 30 mins. :)
- [14:30] Bambers Linden: (of course, if they did they couldn't answer but, you know...)
- [14:30] Gellan Glenelg: may be linux-specific
- [14:31] Bambers Linden: lol Vista - thank you for the confidence boost :)
- [14:31] Alexa Linden: lol
- [14:31] Bambers Linden: yeah, could be
- [14:31] Bambers Linden: anybody have linux here?
- [14:31] Harleen Gretzky: I don't crash anymore, this was an old version of teh PN though, maybe it got fixed
- [14:31] Cummere Mayo: the inventory to notecard does crash me. not everytime though
- [14:31] Cummere Mayo: im on windows
- [14:31] Bambers Linden: who hasn't crashed yet?
- [14:31] Techwolf Lupindo: I was suprized when I went on a gridwide hunt that I tp to over 100 sims yesterday with only one problem sim.
- [14:31] Yann Dufaux: no crash:)
- [14:32] Moon Metty: you tped 100 times?
- [14:32] Xaria Mistwallow: not in 40 minutes
- [14:32] Arawn Spitteler's: been stable since leaving Beaumont
- [14:32] Vista Questi: i've been linuxed in sl since day one
- [14:32] Yann Dufaux: allow to copy for all group:)
- [14:32] Yann Dufaux: try to crash :P
- [14:32] Xaria Mistwallow: on the map i dont see any sims offline either
- [14:33] Bambers Linden: ok, are we all talking about this notecard crash? Because we should be
- [14:33] Vittorio Asbrink: hola
- [14:33] Vittorio's translator: hi
- [14:33] Xaria Mistwallow: i noticed something simular
- [14:33] Dirk Talamasca: Way to keep order Bambers
- [14:33] Vista Questi: I've not got any repro on that problem, so far
- [14:33] Bambers Linden: lets mark as NMI and get more repros and logs
- [14:33] Xaria Mistwallow: only no idea why it actually crashed
- [14:33] Bambers Linden: cummere, if you can attach a log it would help too
- [14:33] Morgaine Dinova: I can't make it crash, and am on Linux (always). But it's 1.22.11
- [14:33] Xaria Mistwallow: actually crashes during saving mostly
- [14:34] Yann Dufaux: yep i keep this on watch, the crash is interesting for me :)
- [14:35] Xaria Mistwallow: I didnt see the crash for 1 month now tho
- [14:35] Xaria Mistwallow: crash of notecard saving that is
- [14:35] Bambers Linden: alexa (et al) - Need more info (and more full logs?)
- [14:35] Yann Dufaux: i have make the setting with bulk premission and no trouble :)
- [14:35] Alexa Linden: ok
- [14:35] Bambers Linden: done
- [14:35] Bambers Linden: NEEEEXT :)
- [14:35] Yann Dufaux: :))
- [14:36] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12974
- [14:36] Bambers Linden: Water Reflections Visible Through Shiny/Full Bright Objects
- [14:36] Harleen Gretzky: Repros for me
- [14:36] Alexa Linden: me too
- [14:36] Thunderclap Morgridge: hello!
- [14:36] Dirk Talamasca: Both Ellla and I saw this clearly and reproduced it on two different regions quite easily running (117724) however as of (118316) we haven't seen it. There was nothing in release notes that stated anything had been changed with regard to graphics, yet we can no longer duplicate this.
- [14:36] Zen Linden: yep
- [14:36] Moon Metty: yeah
- [14:36] Zen Linden: import and ask big papi or runitai about it
- [14:36] Bambers Linden: yes
- [14:36] Alexa Linden: kk
- [14:36] Xaria Mistwallow: Alexa, I gave Torley informationa bout the crashes, I can give the same to you, but im sure he will give it aswell
- [14:36] Bambers Linden: I believe it's already internal actually
- [14:36] Yann Dufaux: wah :)
- [14:36] Zen Linden: yeah, i figured
- [14:36] Cummere Mayo: havent tried to repo it and havent really noticed it, but i vote import as well baed on others repoing it
- [14:37] Bambers Linden: but we shall
- [14:37] Xaria Mistwallow: most likely yeah
- [14:37] Yann Dufaux: hello Zen :)
- [14:37] Bambers Linden: ok, import. Next!
- [14:37] Zen Linden: heya
- [14:37] Xaria Mistwallow: my guess is they were DDOS attacks
- [14:37] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12984 - 1.23 Public Nightly: Water flickers and disappears in patches around 1000 meters
- [14:37] Gellan Glenelg: sounds similar to one from last week
- [14:38] Xaria Mistwallow: talk about LL moving sims isnt going further after 2 weeks
- [14:38] Cummere Mayo: im wondering if this is cause of thier draw distance set?
- [14:38] Bambers Linden: I think this is a dupe - there's another bug along the lines of "land turns to water"
- [14:38] Yann Dufaux: yep, confirmed for me!
- [14:38] Yann Dufaux: thx bamber :)
- [14:38] Cummere Mayo: *setting
- [14:38] Yuu Nakamichi: yes, and not specific to PN
- [14:38] Harleen Gretzky: Tried different draw distances, didn't make a dfiference
- [14:38] Bambers Linden: ok
- [14:38] Yuu Nakamichi: occurs with the current official viewer also
- [14:38] Harleen Gretzky: FOr em it is specific to teh PN
- [14:38] Bambers Linden: anyone have that dupe?
- [14:38] Yann Dufaux: i have noticed this in .22rc too
- [14:38] Xaria Mistwallow: the water does the same on my videocard currently
- [14:38] Alexa Linden: me too
- [14:38] Cummere Mayo: then i guess import
- [14:38] Xaria Mistwallow: sicne 2 or 3 weeks
- [14:38] Gellan Glenelg: looking
- [14:38] Zen Linden: I'd import and ask runitai. Might be a quick fix, might not.
- [14:38] Xaria Mistwallow: and i aint even on that altitude
- [14:39] Harleen Gretzky: This goes away for me when I use 1.22.11
- [14:39] Bambers Linden: cheers gellan.
- [14:39] Zen Linden: low priority
- [14:39] Cummere Mayo: it usually only does it to me if my draw distance is set low
- [14:39] Xaria Mistwallow: i have a feeling it has something to do with lighting
- [14:39] Gellan Glenelg: [1] ?
- [14:39] Xaria Mistwallow: land turned to water = sim crash
- [14:39] Bambers Linden: yeah, that looks like it
- [14:39] Xaria Mistwallow: most likely
- [14:40] Harleen Gretzky: Draw distance did not matter for me, tried 64 - 512 with lots of steps in between
- [14:40] Morgaine Dinova: asks self how one can possibly do automated regression tests on these odd issues
- [14:40] Bambers Linden: we can't regress all tests automatically Morgaine
- [14:41] Harleen Gretzky: I left the platform there for anyone who wants to repro
- [14:41] Xaria Mistwallow: harleen, it isnt that issue, the problem is the lighting mapping most likely. which makes you see white flashes and it could look like a strobescope
- [14:41] Bambers Linden: ok, let's import
- [14:41] Morgaine Dinova: Bambers: there is always a way. I just don't know how ... yet :P
- [14:41] Alexa Linden: done
- [14:41] Bambers Linden: assign to runitai or bigpapi and get their opinion
- [14:41] Xaria Mistwallow: it aint good actually for those that are sensitive for it
- [14:41] Alexa Linden: yup :)
- [14:41] Harleen Gretzky: Don't know what yothat means, if I turn of water it goes away
- [14:41] Bambers Linden: oh, alexa rules, I'm asleep
- [14:41] Bambers Linden: neeext!!!
- [14:41] Moon Metty: lol
- [14:42] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12936 - Get Top Script in Debug menu (Region/Estate) give all script as 0,00ms
- [14:42] Xaria Mistwallow: I seen alot of games that has the same issue with lighting mapping as SL has currently
- [14:42] Thunderclap Morgridge: i dont know if this has been asked but what is up with VWR-12962 the skin layer issue
- [14:42] Bambers Linden: did I skip it?
- [14:43] Thunderclap Morgridge: i dont know i just got here
- [14:43] Cummere Mayo: i dont see it on the agenda
- [14:43] Bambers Linden: oh. It's not up for discussion yet. If we have time we can look
- [14:43] Thunderclap Morgridge: oh ok sorry
- [14:43] Moon Metty: Thunder, that issue was discussed at Nyx' hour, it will be fixed
- [14:43] Xaria Mistwallow: I dont know much about that, so ill shush =P
- [14:43] Thunderclap Morgridge: when was that
- [14:43] Bambers Linden: currently on https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12936 - Get Top Script in Debug menu (Region/Estate) give all script as 0,00ms
- [14:44] Harleen Gretzky: hour ago
- [14:44] Yuu Nakamichi: do they mean mono script time?
- [14:44] Harleen Gretzky: This does not repro for me
- [14:44] Gellan Glenelg: I don't see this
- [14:44] Thunderclap Morgridge: :(
- [14:44] Cummere Mayo: i dont have estate powers anywhere right now so i cant check
- [14:44] Harleen Gretzky: Mono time was fixed in 1.23
- [14:44] Gellan Glenelg: again, maybe linux-specific?
- [14:44] Xaria Mistwallow: correction, 2 hours ago :p
- [14:44] Bambers Linden: possibly
- [14:44] Dirk Talamasca: Me either..
- [14:44] Yuu Nakamichi: yes, it wasn't functional until 1.23
- [14:45] Cummere Mayo: can we ask if its still happening to this person then?
- [14:45] Xaria Mistwallow: not everyone has 1.23 yet
- [14:45] Xaria Mistwallow: best wait untill the new release
- [14:45] Cummere Mayo: they reported it on a 1.23 viewer so...
- [14:45] Harleen Gretzky: The OP's environment says 1.23
- [14:46] Vista Questi: i have not had this happen for me on my sim, yet.
- [14:46] Cummere Mayo: ild say ask them if its still happening and for screens?
- [14:46] Cummere Mayo: might be sim specific
- [14:46] Vista Questi: script times look reasonable, nothing zeroed.
- [14:46] Xaria Mistwallow: could be some server glitch
- [14:46] Cummere Mayo: so maybe ask for sim location too
- [14:46] Bambers Linden: thank you cummere
- [14:47] Xaria Mistwallow: might be handy indeed
- [14:47] Cummere Mayo: sorry bambers jsut trying to think of things that might be other factors
- [14:47] Bambers Linden: NMI then
- [14:47] Bambers Linden: nps
- [14:47] Xaria Mistwallow: you could be right, Cummere
- [14:48] Yann Dufaux: cummer, true if you have more factore to reprod a bugs, its the gest:)
- [14:48] Yann Dufaux: best* sorry
- [14:48] Bambers Linden: yeah, so NMI please alexa
- [14:48] Alexa Linden: yup
- [14:48] Bambers Linden: neext uuuuuup!!
- [14:48] Bambers Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8748 - rapid flying, while zoomed out, over a period of time, causes the viewer to hang on drawing and then crash with rapid direction change
- [14:49] Yann Dufaux: :)
- [14:49] Gellan Glenelg: I've spent hours trying to repro this. it doesn't
- [14:49] Cummere Mayo: i can still repo on 1.22 so far NOT on 1.23
- [14:49] Bambers Linden: this sounds like an old memory leak bug from way back when
- [14:50] Yann Dufaux: other crash reprod on watch for me :))
- [14:50] Zen Linden: cummere, i'm seeing one crash in the crash reporter for you over hippotroppolis
- [14:50] Xaria Mistwallow: isnt that the same as driving around in a vehicle too hard crossingt he sim line?
- [14:50] Xaria Mistwallow: you simply crash
- [14:50] Zen Linden: that one of em?
- [14:50] Bambers Linden: and not new to 1.23 either
- [14:50] Xaria Mistwallow: sounds like plain stupidity to me =P
- [14:50] Moon Metty: :)
- [14:50] Cummere Mayo: uh not sure?
- [14:51] Xaria Mistwallow: SL was not made to fly/drive/sail very fast
- [14:51] Yann Dufaux: i happy if i can crash my viewer i allways send my crashreport :P
- [14:51] Bambers Linden: can anybody consistently repro? Gellan couldn't - anyone else try?
- [14:51] Xaria Mistwallow: all those enhancers may be nice, but they do cause lagg and during simcrossings they cause crashes
- [14:51] Cummere Mayo: i carshes allot on that bug in 1.21 and 1.22 so far not in 1.23 so im willing to tentatively say fixed in 1.23 and resolve it
- [14:51] Zen Linden: yeah, unfortunately lacked call stacks. The viewer had been running for 800 minutes, though
- [14:51] Vista Questi: it's not known if it's really a sim-crossing issue, is it?
- [14:51] Thunderclap Morgridge: :(
- [14:51] Bambers Linden: oh, please always send your crash reports - we do use them! :)
- [14:51] Zen Linden: suspects slow mem leak
- [14:51] Zen Linden: PLEASE SEND THEM
- [14:52] Bambers Linden: yup Zen
- [14:52] Cummere Mayo: i try
- [14:52] Xaria Mistwallow: if you go straight up, then yuo could use it, but not when going horizontally
- [14:52] Zen Linden: PRETTY PRETTY PLZ
- [14:52] Dirk Talamasca: okay okay I'll send em
- [14:52] Cummere Mayo: but mine arent going through on 1.23:(
- [14:52] Dirk Talamasca: LOL
- [14:52] Thunderclap Morgridge: i always do
- [14:52] Morgaine Dinova: Xaria: that comment makes no sense. SL wasn't *made* to be slow either. If there's a viewer crash from normal flying/travel, it's a real problem.
- [14:52] Techwolf Lupindo: Where do we send them if we are using --coreoncrash?
- [14:52] Yann Dufaux: Alexa, do you know i i can past the handing error?
- [14:52] Cummere Mayo: they just hang and fail
- [14:52] Cummere Mayo: but getting back to thhe bug. I -think- this is fixed in 1.23
- [14:52] Xaria Mistwallow: going down may help aswell a bit, but dont go all the way to the ground, simply has to load everything on the ground and the viewer crashes because ther eis way to much information coming in at once
- [14:53] Xaria Mistwallow: it isnt a bug, its plain logically thinking
- [14:53] Cummere Mayo: thsi version i mean
- [14:53] Morgaine Dinova: Too much information at once is not a valid reason for crashing. That's what throttles are for.
- [14:53] Bambers Linden: cummere - your comment says still an issue in 1.23 - you want to add more info?
- [14:53] Cummere Mayo: not the first
- [14:53] Xaria Mistwallow: im not on 1.23
- [14:53] Cummere Mayo: it crashe3d on this the first time
- [14:53] Cummere Mayo: but not on this one
- [14:53] Xaria Mistwallow: im on 1.21
- [14:53] Cummere Mayo: is confused now
- [14:54] Cummere Mayo: since the last time i installed a 1.23 version its stopped.
- [14:54] Bambers Linden: me too
- [14:54] Xaria Mistwallow: I rather wait till full releases. everything in betweeen is usually buggy and can cause sirious problems
- [14:54] Bambers Linden: ok, in that case NMI - is it still happening in RC0
- [14:54] Alexa Linden: ok
- [14:54] Bambers Linden: Xaria - that's the point ;)
- [14:55] Xaria Mistwallow: =)
- [14:55] Cummere Mayo: /em tries to uncomfuse herself.. gives up and applies for brain xplant
- [14:55] Bambers Linden: this is how we make those full releases stop crashing :D
- [14:55] Bambers Linden: neext
- [14:55] Xaria Mistwallow: okay, i have to leave for next meeting, ill be off! thank you everyone! bye bye, till next week!
- [14:55] Moon Metty: see you Xaria

- [14:56] Bambers Linden: known issue, working on it
- [14:56] Cummere Mayo: this seems account specific
- [14:56] Moon Metty: yup
- [14:56] Gellan Glenelg: I've seen this with the "are you sure you want to quit" popup
- [14:56] Alexa Linden: yay
- [14:56] Harleen Gretzky: repros for me on the teleport popup
- [14:56] Alexa Linden: me too
- [14:56] Moon Metty: are you really really sure you want to quit?
- [14:56] Gellan Glenelg: but its NOT all the time - sugarcult might be right about it being related to using more than one AV
- [14:56] Alexa Linden: super sure?
- [14:56] Thunderclap Morgridge: got to go!
- [14:56] Moon Metty: lol
- [14:56] Thunderclap Morgridge: bye and can i have some bears.
- [14:56] Cummere Mayo: i agree with gellan
- [14:56] Thunderclap Morgridge: thanks
- [14:56] Bambers Linden: do we need to link this to something? It's an internal known
- [14:57] Vista Questi: ooo! i have that one ,too!

- [14:58] Bambers Linden: hope so
- [14:58] Vista Questi: oh ..actually it doesnt ghost the disable button afterwards, it seems
- [14:58] Cummere Mayo: plllease import
- [14:58] Gellan Glenelg: this has got to be a dupe, surely?
- [14:58] Bambers Linden: Has OS been edited out?
- [14:58] Moon Metty: yes Gellan
- [14:58] Bambers Linden: I think this may well be a dupe
- [14:58] Alexa Linden: I'm not seeing this
- [14:58] Cummere Mayo: osx
- [14:59] Cummere Mayo: doesnt say which version of osx though
- [14:59] Morgaine Dinova: Dirk's comment on that one is fascinating
- [14:59] Yann Dufaux: confirmed for me, i thing the sculpt texture load befor the simple texture
- [14:59] Bambers Linden: yeah - looks like it's been edited out to show hardware
- [14:59] Yann Dufaux: i think*
- [14:59] Bambers Linden: but either way, that's not important. I think this is a dupe
- [15:00] Bambers Linden: ding ding - last call
- [15:00] Bambers Linden: votes?
- [15:00] Cummere Mayo: vodka and whiskey?
- [15:00] Dirk Talamasca: Yeah you can see what I mean really well here at this texture store.. It sits in 3 regions [2]
- [15:00] Morgaine Dinova: sync; sync; sync
