- [9:31] Morgaine Dinova: Well that's how LL want it, xstorm. This is just a platform for business meetings. The "virtual" disappeared as a goal long ago, so thinking out of the box is quite non-PC.
- [9:31] Zha Ewry: Someoen is freezing?
- [9:31] Zha Ewry: I'd best rez a campfire then
- [9:31] Morgaine Dinova: I have a freeze monitor running Zha, want to see the freezes as people TP in.
- [9:32] Zha Ewry: ahh
- [9:32] Morgaine Dinova: Not too bad so far
- [9:32] Zha Ewry: Well, it ought to be pretty decent
- [9:32] Zha Ewry: While one doesn't know what the other 2 sims on the box are
- [9:32] Zha Ewry: this one has 5 aves attm.
- [9:32] Zha Ewry: If adding one when we're in the single digits stalls the sim
- [9:32] Zha Ewry: sheeeeeesh
- [9:33] Pixel Gausman: wonders if she should trust sitting next to the cat
- [9:33] Zha Ewry: I think you're safe as long as you avoid the catnip and milk saucer aves
- [9:33] Morgaine Dinova: Only freezes longer than 0.5s are displayed, otherwise it would get noisy.
- [9:33] Pixel Gausman: especially when the cat is holding a knife
- [9:33] xstorm Radek: so may be LL no longer wish for people in sl to own land and build there dreams but make it all white and put it back to IRC black and white chat rooms
- [9:33] Morgaine Dinova: Hiya Pixel :-)
- [9:34] Zha Ewry: How does it measure freeze?
- [9:34] Morgaine Dinova: It's just Moon's script from wiki with some minor embellishments. I'll give you a copy, lemme zap perms
- [9:36] Panel 3: Freeze of 1.909709s detected
- [9:36] Panel 3: Freeze of 2.242638s detected
- [9:36] xstorm Radek: pokes Aimee
- [9:36] Aimee Trescothick: oI!
- [9:36] xstorm Radek: :-)
- [9:37] Panel 3: Freeze of 0.561308s detected
- [9:37] Panel 3: Freeze of 1.626703s detected
- [9:37] Panel 3: Freeze of 1.560805s detected
- [9:37] Zha Ewry: thanks,Morg...
- [9:38] Panel 3: Freeze of 1.228835s detected
- [9:38] Morgaine Dinova: Damn, I should have put the URL of Moon's post in therre
- [9:38] Zha Ewry: Heh. I am not allowed to view that
- [9:38] Rex Cronon: hello everybody
- [9:38] Pixel Gausman: hi Rex
- [9:38] Zha Ewry: SL perms are *so* obvious
- [9:38] Morgaine Dinova: Fscking stupid perms system
- [9:38] Rex Cronon: hi
- [9:39] Morgaine Dinova: That visible?
- [9:39] Zha Ewry: Yep
- [9:39] Zha Ewry: Ah,. so it's just looiking to see if the timer events get stalled
- [9:40] Morgaine Dinova: Yeah
- [9:40] Zha Ewry: From what I can tell, this months buganoo is squid stalling
- [9:40] Morgaine Dinova: I'm surprised LL can't diagnose that trvially from server end
- [9:41] Zha Ewry: Almost all the stalling I've seen, this month, has been texture load stall, with scripts runnign great, and long agent times, and long pauses of very slow bandwidth from the sim
- [9:41] Zha Ewry: Anyw ay
- [9:41] Zha Ewry: This looks like a quorum
- [9:42] Morgaine Dinova: Definitely something funny happening with textures in last few weeks. If I were a graphics person, I'd probably be annoyed
- [9:42] Zha Ewry: Anyone who has been folllowing the snowglobe mailing list should be aware that Pixel's submitted a patch to include the current OGP support in the snowglobe tree
- [9:42] Pixel Gausman: it looks like it's ready to be committed. needed a few tweakies last week
- [9:42] Zha Ewry: So I'm going to let Pixel discuss al ittle bit what's in there
- [9:43] Morgaine Dinova: Cool
- [9:43] Zha Ewry: Yes, Merov said he was happy with it now
- [9:43] Zha Ewry: There is matching AD code if you peek in just the right place
- [9:43] Dahlia Trimble: gratz to Pixel :)
- [9:43] Pixel Gausman: tanx
- [9:43] Zha Ewry: Pixel has slaved over a lot of steaming hot code to get this one done
- [9:44] Pixel Gausman: it will be soooo cool to have OGP out-of-the-box
- [9:44] Zha Ewry: And, perhaps even worse, made lawyers happy too
- [9:44] Mojito Sorbet: I sat thru an entire office hour at Pathfinder's and the floor never showed up.
- [9:44] Pixel Gausman: i can haz lawyer dance
- [9:44] Morgaine Dinova: Well that's what happens when try to do it all in house, lot of slaving involved :P
- [9:45] Dahlia Trimble: now all we need is that er um AE..er...AC...er... whatever that part is called
- [9:45] Pixel Gausman: kitty is still grumbly today
- [9:45] Zha Ewry: [1]
- [9:45] Morgaine Dinova: Pixel: tut tut :-)
- [9:45] Zha Ewry: leads you off to git hub
- [9:45] Zha Ewry: since forge is still SVN
- [9:46] Zha Ewry: I'm testing the "How to instal his beast" note today
- [9:46] Morgaine Dinova: Oh cool, AD's going to github?
- [9:46] Pixel Gausman: Dahlia: so that's an open source AD implementation
- [9:46] Dahlia Trimble: gratz to Zha too :)
- [9:46] Zha Ewry: Well, I'm hoping Adam will get gridforge running git
- [9:46] Zha Ewry: But.. for now, we're shadowing it on github
- [9:47] Pixel Gausman: and Rob Smart and Alan Webb
- [9:47] Zha Ewry: Lots of stuff in there
- [9:47] Zha Ewry: including a pass at reflecting inventory to a single place, and caching assets between grids
- [9:48] Pixel Gausman: do assets can be distributed
- [9:48] Pixel Gausman: and the AD manages inventory
- [9:48] Zha Ewry: Our next way to punish pixel is to move that to caps
- [9:48] Morgaine Dinova: Explain "reflecting" pls
- [9:48] Pixel Gausman: sort of
- [9:48] Pixel Gausman: Morgaine: reflecting == my pain
- [9:48] Morgaine Dinova: Hehe
- [9:48] Zha Ewry: We trap the inventory calls at the region, and reflect them back to the AD host
- [9:49] Pixel Gausman: i deemed moving the inventory manipulation caps completely in the viewer off UDP, so for now, we have a reflector in the region
- [9:49] Zha Ewry: So inventory is managed there, not on the regions (except the client is so deeply into the Regoin holds inventory model) we did it via the current code first
- [9:49] Dahlia Trimble: moving things to caps is fun! *cough...gag...
- [9:49] Zha Ewry: We plan on torturing Pixel with some of that soon
- [9:50] Zha Ewry: But we'll do it in public, with the AD code out rather than in private
- [9:50] Zha Ewry: And. this should stay pretty much in sync with snowglobe patches if we do it all correctly
- [9:51] xstorm Radek: public hhmmm think of all them new eyes watching what steps are taken
- [9:51] Zha Ewry: The last releaesed OGP9 client, is what, 10 months backlevel now?
- [9:51] Morgaine Dinova: When you say you "trap inventory calls at the region", you mean you have a modified Opensim region, right? So this can't work in SL currently, not ven in Aditi.
- [9:51] Panel 3: Freeze of 0.852673s detected
- [9:51] Panel 3: Freeze of 1.215423s detected
- [9:51] Zha Ewry: Right, Morgaine
- [9:51] Pixel Gausman: yeah, i'm looking at viewer code trying to figure out the best way to reorganize things
- [9:51] Dahlia Trimble: dunno, I cant log in to anything with the last OGP client
- [9:52] xstorm Radek: i can not even log in to aditi
- [9:52] Zha Ewry: Inventory from Linden's asset cloud is Linden's policy, business and code
- [9:52] Pixel Gausman: the Snowglobe works with vaak on aditi, sort of... vaak has been fairly temperamental lately
- [9:52] xstorm Radek: it keeps telling me i have the wrong user name and password
- [9:52] Zha Ewry: And, of course, continues to work on both main grid, and Opensim
- [9:52] Pixel Gausman: but the inventory stuff obviously doesnt work with vakk, login and TP only. no assets
- [9:52] Dahlia Trimble: is there a liniux binary of the snoglobe version somewhere?
- [9:52] Panel 3: Freeze of 0.674614s detected
- [9:53] Zha Ewry: Hush. Hush. A linden!
- [9:53] Pixel Gausman: Dahlia: binaries wont show until after its committed
- [9:53] Pixel Gausman: and that should happen soon
- [9:53] Infinity Linden: oh! talking about SNOW-215?
- [9:53] Zha Ewry: waves at Infinity
- [9:53] xstorm Radek: as long as its not Infinity
- [9:53] Zha Ewry: Yeps
- [9:53] xstorm Radek: oooppsss OMG!!
- [9:54] Zha Ewry: I have to say 215 inches of snow is a lot
- [9:54] Infinity Linden: yeah. creeping towards that "ban from gridnauts button."
- [9:54] xstorm Radek: has she got horns on im scared to look
- [9:54] Infinity Linden: which is, of course, my way of saying "good morning, xstorm"
- [9:54] Panel 3: Freeze of 0.693146s detected
- [9:54] xstorm Radek: good day :-) Infinity
- [9:55] Zha Ewry: Client builders can build from the patch attached to 215, tho, right?
- [9:55] Infinity Linden: but seriously... it looks like a good patch
- [9:55] Morgaine Dinova: That last freeze happened when Infinity TP'd in. The freezes correlate very well with TP entrances --- another right now as Latif entered.
- [9:55] Pixel Gausman: Zha: y
- [9:55] Infinity Linden: there were a bunch of patches attached to the jira
- [9:55] Infinity Linden: pix, which one is best?
- [9:55] Pixel Gausman: SNOW-215-llstartupAndMac.patch (145 kB)
- [9:56] Mojito Sorbet: I have no scripted attachements. I could leave and come back. See what happens. Then repeat with a HUD on
- [9:56] Morgaine Dinova: k
- [9:56] Infinity Linden: coolies
- [9:56] Pixel Gausman: it doesnt have the one line change for the shortcut
- [9:56] xstorm Radek: Infinity i still can not get in to Aditi do to the server keeps telling me i have the wrong password and user name so it that like a error for people thats had there accounts patch at one time ?
- [9:56] Pixel Gausman: i assume Merov will do that when he integrates
- [9:56] Dahlia Trimble: I've heard there is a freeze when scripts on an avie are deserialized and instantiated
- [9:56] Panel 3: Freeze of 0.797405s detected
- [9:57] Morgaine Dinova: No freeze reported Mojito, so much have been shorter than 0.5s if there way one.
- [9:57] Mojito Sorbet: Just attached Huddle
- [9:57] Infinity Linden: pix: i'll ping him and make suer
- [9:57] Pixel Gausman: xstorm: glad to see i'm not the only one harrassing Infinity abt vaak
- [9:57] Infinity Linden: he's about 10 feet away from my first life avatar
- [9:57] Dahlia Trimble: did it freeze when I tp'd in?
- [9:57] Infinity Linden: xstorm: ping me after the meeting and i'll try to see what's what with aditi
- [9:57] Infinity Linden: (though i don't have control of that grid)
- [9:57] Mojito Sorbet: Ok, Huddle loaded. I will leave and come back
- [9:57] xstorm Radek: ok thank you
- [9:57] Morgaine Dinova: Dahlia: I didn't see you enter, had window over the top scene :-)
- [9:58] Latif Khalifa: Mojito, you cause .5-.6s sim freeze on teleport
- [9:58] Mojito Sorbet: Ok, I will add X-LANG, another faily heavy weight HUD
- [9:59] Morgaine Dinova: Latif: must be close to my 0.5s cutoff then. I got a freeze when you entered, but not from Mojito.
- [9:59] Mojito Sorbet: And some scripted weapons
- [9:59] Mojito Sorbet: (en->ja)
- [9:59] Latif Khalifa: [9:56
- [9:56] HUD: 0.79: freeze
- [9:59] Latif Khalifa: that's what i say
- [9:59] Latif Khalifa: panel3 is yours?
- [9:59] Infinity Linden: lol. the tranlation of "and some scripted weapons" into japanese was kinda funny
- [9:59] Morgaine Dinova: Yeah
- [9:59] Mojito Sorbet: Just rezzing those things probably caused a bump
- [10:00] Infinity Linden: it came out as "angry washing machine"
- [10:00] Latif Khalifa: lol
- [10:00] Panel 3: Freeze of 1.092203s detected
- [10:00] Morgaine Dinova: That was Mojito
- [10:00] Latif Khalifa: you speak japanese infinity?
- [10:00] Mojito Sorbet: Clearly the more stuff I have on, the bigger the effect
- [10:00] Latif Khalifa: yup1s freeze now
- [10:00] Pixel Gausman: Inf speaks everything
- [10:00] Dahlia Trimble: this is the first thing in my chat log after I tp'd: Panel 3: Freeze of 1.228835s detected
- [10:00] Zha Ewry: Just rezzing my sword doesn't.
- [10:00] Infinity Linden: skoshi nihongo dekimas
- [10:01] Dahlia Trimble: did I win? :)
- [10:01] Morgaine Dinova: Need to combine the freeze monitor with a sensor to detect arriving avs
- [10:01] Dahlia Trimble: woudnt a sensor freeze too?
- [10:01] xstorm Radek: gave you San Diego City is For Sale! - Press Release 13-Sep-2009.
- [10:02] Latif Khalifa: i have been monitoring this for a while, it's not only arriving avatar with running scripts that causes freezes
- [10:02] Morgaine Dinova: Sure, but at least it'll allow correlating freezes with arrivals in logs
- [10:02] xstorm Radek: im starting to think much of the freezing is do to textures , scripts and voice
- [10:02] Mojito Sorbet: I saw a blip when I attached a HUD
- [10:02] Pixel Gausman: So, anyone in the AWG groupies interested in running a test AD with the new code?
- [10:02] xstorm Radek: unless the friends list is a problem ?
- [10:02] Dahlia Trimble: sensors only see 16 avies tho :/
- [10:03] Latif Khalifa: Pixel, new code in opensi?
- [10:03] Latif Khalifa: +m
- [10:03] Morgaine Dinova: Switching off freeze monitor to not distract from OGP
- [10:03] Infinity Linden: if someone can tell me which packages i have to install on ubuntu to get opensim 0.6.6 to compile and run, i'd be happy to help test it
- [10:03] Pixel Gausman: [2]
- [10:03] Pixel Gausman: Latif: ^
- [10:03] Infinity Linden: <- has been lazy lately about banging her head against the wall with proper patch management on ubuntu 9.04
- [10:03] Dahlia Trimble: Infinity, better to build the latest mono release from source
- [10:04] Infinity Linden: k. i'll try tyat
- [10:04] Infinity Linden: that
- [10:04] Pixel Gausman: and Zha will be posting some install/build/configure instrctions soon
- [10:04] Infinity Linden: i'll definitely try that before throwing stones in the "OMG! you checked stuff in that broke the build!" glass house
- [10:05] Infinity Linden: cool.
- [10:05] xstorm Radek: i have to go a sim has crash and they have no clue why :-)
- [10:05] Zha Ewry: I'm testing them now. Which is hard, because I know how it all works
- [10:05] Rex Cronon: tc
- [10:05] Dahlia Trimble: bye xstorm
- [10:05] Zha Ewry: But, I need to act as if I don't. But we'll have them up for you to tell me what I missed shortly
- [10:05] Infinity Linden: hmm... we should try setting vaak up to trust BOTH the LL AD and some other OS AD just to see what happens
- [10:05] Zha Ewry: Thatt would be fun, Infinity
- [10:06] Morgaine Dinova: That would be excellent
- [10:06] Dahlia Trimble: is vaak opensim?
- [10:06] Zha Ewry: I *think* we may need a tickmore X.509 in our impl to make that happy, but that's probably on my short list anyway
- [10:06] Pixel Gausman: Inf: way cool
- [10:06] Saijanai Kuhn: wouldn't there be the firewall issue for that?
- [10:06] Zha Ewry: Good Morning Saij!
- [10:06] Zha Ewry: And which firewall issue?
- [10:06] Dahlia Trimble: someone's sword is interacting with one of my hud scripts
- [10:07] Infinity Linden: @zha. i'll put that on the list of things to do earlier rather than later
- [10:07] Mojito Sorbet: I was just putting on and off my new bow. COuld that have been it?
- [10:07] Dahlia Trimble: probably
- [10:07] Infinity Linden: i think it dovetails nicely with the "behind the firewall" projects needs too
- [10:08] Zha Ewry: I'm probably going to have a AD up on my personal box at home in the next week or so, along with a region or three
- [10:08] Dahlia Trimble: I may set one up
- [10:08] Latif Khalifa: or 16 megasim pack :D
- [10:09] Morgaine Dinova: So, can we take two Opensim instances and two of these ADs from forge, once per sim, and start checking things out?
- [10:10] Zha Ewry: I don't see why not. We dont' have any AD-AD flow attm, tho, just the "Region trusts the AD" level stuff
- [10:10] Pixel Gausman: Morgaine: you can have one AD with multiple opensim instances as well
- [10:10] Morgaine Dinova: Pixel: sure, but that's growing one world, rather than interop'ing two of them. They're both good use cases.
- [10:11] Infinity Linden: well... AD <-> AD will be important for group messaging / voice
- [10:11] Infinity Linden: i think our last thoughts were that we didn't want the protocol to depend on a global registry
- [10:12] Zha Ewry: AD-AD is clearly somethign we'll need to get our heada around
- [10:12] Infinity Linden: so we would want to be able to create a group on one AD that references an agent on a different AD
- [10:12] Infinity Linden: yeah. we've not been thinking about it too much.
- [10:12] Morgaine Dinova: Every grid in existence is going to have their own AD or world service a la Cable Beach. Obviously we'll have to support that, but not sure what the model is for it yet, if any.
- [10:12] Infinity Linden: but the cool thing is we now have some code that peeps can use as a testbed for AD <-> AD stuff
- [10:13] Morgaine Dinova: Yeah
- [10:13] Infinity Linden: 'cause i've said it before, and i'll say it again, it's A LOT easier to modify OpenSim than it is the linden AD code base
- [10:13] Zha Ewry: The trick, is going to be to try and not blow up on the various NxM potential meltdowns
- [10:13] Pixel Gausman: yeah, not having an open source implementation of AD has been a real PITA
- [10:13] Zha Ewry: You know Infinity, given the pain needed to keep the patches in synch with the OpenSim codebase this summer, that is a scary statement, but probably still true
- [10:14] Zha Ewry: Its been real chicken and egg. I'm looking forward to having both a client and an AD out there for people to play with
- [10:15] Morgaine Dinova: Should be easier now with git. Opensim still operates as a cathedral with its core devs, but with git distributing deltas it opens up a lot more.
- [10:15] Infinity Linden: well.. keep in mind that our system is designed for large deploys
- [10:15] Zha Ewry: Infinity, have we seen a notice from the IESG yet?
- [10:15] Infinity Linden: so you have to go through a lot of hoops to deploy, even on vaak
- [10:15] Infinity Linden: i was just looking that up. nothing on ietf-announce yet
- [10:16] Zha Ewry: So.. I'll gently say, that we expect, very shortly, for the VWRAP charter to get sent tot he IETF on the whole for the 2 week sanity check
- [10:16] Infinity Linden: it's supposd to go out sometime today
- [10:16] Saijanai Kuhn: back, and hey all
- [10:17] Zha Ewry: At which point, baring some unexpected events, we should end up with a working group.
- [10:17] Rex Cronon: hi sai
- [10:17] Saijanai Kuhn: firewall issue was about the fact that vaak wouldn't accept avatars with a non-secondlife URL at one point, I thought
- [10:18] Morgaine Dinova: Discussions are already in the post-charter agreement phase anyway. There wasn't any point in making the charter a stumbling block, beyond making sure it didn't lock important things out.
- [10:18] Infinity Linden: having a working group will be nice. then we can bicker about the contents of specs, instead of the contents of draft charters (as $DIET{Y|IES} intended)
- [10:18] Zha Ewry: nods
- [10:18] Zha Ewry: +1 to both
- [10:18] Saijanai Kuhn: or rather that the secondlife.com was the only url sims could use to talk to each other
- [10:19] Infinity Linden: why would that be an issue? there's nothing in any of the current work that even mentions that
- [10:19] Saijanai Kuhn: something like that (recallig half understood offhand comment from more than a year ago)
- [10:19] Zha Ewry: One of the first things that I know I want to work on is rolling the deployment models information into the intrdocution
- [10:19] Infinity Linden: just because something's not in a spec, doesn't mean it's required
- [10:20] Infinity Linden: right. i'm just about finished incorporating the last month's feedback into the existing intro
- [10:20] Zha Ewry: That ought to explain the range of ways we anticipate people building stuff, and flatten any confusion about "world" "worlds" or "sanboexes"
- [10:20] Morgaine Dinova: Zha: great merit in that. People want to know "what can it do?" :-))
- [10:20] Latif Khalifa: oh pixes, this is not a patch, its a whole opensim code?
- [10:20] Infinity Linden: i can take a hack at rolling your stuff into the doc if you want
- [10:20] Zha Ewry: When you have a stable version, Infinity, pass me the token and I'll edit it in?
- [10:21] Infinity Linden: k
- [10:21] Zha Ewry: Latif, the OGP patch? Yes. Its built off reasonably stable trunk, and git ought to manage a merge.
- [10:22] Zha Ewry: Eeep. Crashed Pixel
- [10:22] Infinity Linden: uh oh. we scared pix away with talk of merging
- [10:22] Latif Khalifa: i'm checking out from the git url pixel gave
- [10:22] Pixel Gausman: viewer crashed
- [10:22] Latif Khalifa: its almost a 100mb i was wondering what it is
- [10:22] Zha Ewry: That will give you a full tree
- [10:23] Infinity Linden: that must be the bit of code i put in a while ago. when the server see's the terms "OGP" and "merge" in the same region where pix is logged in, it sends her the "crash now" packet
- [10:23] Zha Ewry: git tho, should be able to let you do branch meres
- [10:23] Zha Ewry: *merges
- [10:23] Pixel Gausman: OGP merge
- [10:23] Dahlia Trimble: I've been running emerald for several days now, pretty stable since I turned off slvoice
- [10:23] Infinity Linden: you know... to protect her from statements that might cause insanity
- [10:23] Zha Ewry: reminds herself not to use and avatar with the string "pix" in it name as an alt
- [10:23] Infinity Linden: darn. didn't happen a second time. must have just been a regular viewer crash
- [10:24] Zha Ewry: So, that's what we've been up to
- [10:24] Aimee Trescothick: no pix-ies for you then
- [10:25] Zha Ewry: Therre's plenty more testing, and hardening to do on the code, but we can share that pain with all of you
- [10:25] Latif Khalifa: hm checkout failed, after 100mb download ;)
- [10:25] Infinity Linden: okay. since there's a pause int he conversation
- [10:25] Latif Khalifa: warning: remote HEAD refers to nonexistent ref, unable to checkout.
- [10:25] Infinity Linden: ack. now there's not
- [10:26] Zha Ewry: Sigh. About once a month I think all source code control systems, beyond FTP are evil.
- [10:26] Morgaine Dinova: Github must be running on a cellphone.
- [10:26] Latif Khalifa: puts git on the hate list
- [10:26] Aimee Trescothick: stick to using post-it notes
- [10:26] Morgaine Dinova: Hehe
- [10:27] Zha Ewry: Well, git got so crankly last month I revered to using the USB key between machines in my office
- [10:27] Pixel Gausman: Latif: what was the specific error, so i can tell the developer i had stuff it there?
- [10:27] Pixel Gausman: oh, i see now
- [10:27] Pixel Gausman: warning: remote HEAD refers to nonexistent ref, unable to checkout.
- [10:27] Latif Khalifa: yes

- [10:28] Latif Khalifa: git downloads everything then comes up with the error lol
- [10:28] Dahlia Trimble: it was 102 Mb when I cloned it
- [10:28] Infinity Linden: dances in glee knowing she's working with mercurial rather than SVN or CVS
- [10:29] Pixel Gausman: Latif: you are lkalif in irc, right?
- [10:29] Latif Khalifa: yes
- [10:29] Morgaine Dinova: Still on 40% of received objects here
- [10:29] Zha Ewry: sighs as she realizes that, of course, 5 people banged on the 100MB download at once
- [10:29] Techwolf Lupindo: Made it. Hi everyone.
- [10:29] Morgaine Dinova: Hehe
- [10:29] Pixel Gausman: Inf: any idea when the mercurial will go to the public viewer ?
- [10:30] Morgaine Dinova: Hi Tech
- [10:30] Rex Cronon: hi tech
- [10:30] Saijanai Kuhn: still doesn't understand svn... :-/
- [10:30] Latif Khalifa: linden lab basically stopped syncing svn about 6 months ago
- [10:31] Infinity Linden: mmm.. i don't know, pix
- [10:31] Mojito Sorbet: I like SVN.
- [10:31] Infinity Linden: i chatted informally with merov, cg and robla
- [10:31] Latif Khalifa: i never had an issue with svn either
- [10:31] Infinity Linden: i think they wanted to see extern support
- [10:31] Infinity Linden: er... externals

- [10:33] Infinity Linden: and plus. it's totally a merov/robla call
- [10:33] Infinity Linden: so i don't want to put words in their mouths
- [10:33] Latif Khalifa: hopes LL goes back to opensource once all this viewer 2.0 hoopla is over
- [10:33] Pixel Gausman: honestly, i havent investigated how it would make my life happier if we were on mercurial
- [10:34] Infinity Linden: mm... i've been using it fora while
- [10:34] Techwolf Lupindo: I've dropped a few ebuild of the some of the svn brances due to getting stale and out of date.
- [10:34] Morgaine Dinova: Tech: refreshing layman
- [10:34] Infinity Linden: i _was_ skeptical, being a svn and pe
