• [15:13] Maestro Linden: let's say I have a box owned by me, set to "The Lindens" group
• [15:13] Moon Metty: true, it's not cloning, but copying

• [15:13] Moy Loon: Was the old bug, it saying you can't rez objects, beacuse you didn't have your tag set?

• [15:13] Moy Loon: Then...Why not only set it when it's not the same owner?
• [15:13] Maestro Linden: in older versions, an avatar who duplicated that box would own the duplicate,
• [15:13] Maestro Linden: but the group would still be set to the Lindens
• [15:14] Maestro Linden: and it's probably bad to have non-group-members having objects set to the group

• [15:14] CPU Core: i think copying a prim should copy the group its set too.. land requiring the correct group would be needing people to change groups to do simple tasks all the time otherwise

• [15:14] Maestro Linden: I think the new behavior (having the duplicate object set to the avatar's current group) is more consistent with other object rezzing too

• [15:17] Moy Loon: I'd find the shiftduping changing groups kinda annoying, as I've made the client do everything under the land group by default, regardless of what my active group is

• [15:22] Base Diavolo: i tested a buncha crap..made one jira.....the only other thing i discovered besides that rebaking thig was the rezzing of multiple objects with active scripts..like a buttload of bullets or grenades or temp items...

• [15:23] Base Diavolo: you can rez a 'wad' the 1st time and it works....if you try to rez it again within around ten seconds...the scripts dont work again
