  • [15:06] Oskar Linden: :-)
  • [15:06] Lucia Nightfire: lol
  • [15:06] Oskar Linden: so as you all are more than well aware
  • [15:06] Nalates Urriah: Fun day
  • [15:06] Lucia Nightfire: Monday, the "funnest" day many have had in a long time.....
  • [15:06] Oskar Linden: some of the tools in the experience tools project on Magnum got abused over the weekend
  • [15:06] Coyot Linden: oh yeah, great "fun"
  • [15:06] Oskar Linden: Monday morning was pretty much firedrills all day
  • [15:06] Oskar Linden: I rolled out of bed and logged in and BAM
  • [15:07] Oskar Linden: even before my coffee
  • [15:07] Coyot LindenCoyot Linden needs a fire capt. hat
  • [15:07] Rex Cronon: hi everybody
  • [15:07] Oskar Linden: we do take active griefing vectors seriously
  • [15:07] Motor Loon: I hope it all resulted in some nice bans
  • [15:07] Oskar Linden: determined a fix for the issue
  • [15:07] SonicAnd Miles: I was off last wends.-yesterday so i missed everything. Was on vacation riding roller coasters. sry.
  • [15:07] Oskar Linden: we got it tested and deployed Monday afternoon
  • [15:07] Rex Cronon: bans? because of monday incident?
  • [15:08] Motor Loon: for the greifers rex
  • [15:08] xstorm Radek: what this about seim freez that region not server right ?
  • [15:08] Jonathan Yap: Was the fix fully deployed by Tuesday morning at 3am (because I know of an experience tool abuse that happened that)?
  • [15:08] xstorm Radek: if the server is freezing then its more then viewer
  • [15:08] Oskar Linden: xstorm you know I open up discussion after I get the agenda done
  • [15:08] Rex Cronon: is not like whoever griefs thinks they will get a tanky u note from u:)
  • [15:09] xstorm Radek: ok sorry
  • [15:09] Lares Carter: is there some Jira link available about the issue? I missed Monday.
  • [15:09] Oskar Linden: jonathan the exploit was patched by then
  • [15:09] Oskar Linden: it was still possible to sue the tools as expected
  • [15:09] Oskar Linden: that might have been seen as griefing
  • [15:09] Oskar Linden: the griefing exploit was unintentional
  • [15:09] Jonathan Yap: sorry for interrupting Oskar
  • [15:09] Oskar Linden: np
  • [15:10] Oskar Linden: the exp tools project was removed from the grid this week
  • [15:10] Oskar Linden: it lost its slot on Magnum because of other security issues
  • [15:10] Oskar Linden: those that were addressed in this meeting actually
  • [15:10] Tiberious Neruda: ...my question is why didn't it require permissions?
  • [15:10] Motor Loon: ouch
  • [15:10] Oskar Linden: I want to thank all of you for the feedback you gave to Huseby last week
  • [15:10] Oskar Linden: it did Tiberious
  • [15:10] Lucia Nightfire: one method didn't Oskar
  • [15:11] Oskar Linden: the issue was a backwards compatible bug
  • [15:11] Lucia Nightfire: there were two methods that were beign exploited
  • [15:11] Oskar Linden: it's a bug
  • [15:11] Oskar Linden: it was not intentional
  • [15:11] Oskar Linden: it did require permissions, but it didn't work
  • [15:11] Tiberious Neruda: we found ourselves going from the mesh user group to both The Corn Field, and a sim called Hell
  • [15:11] xstorm Radek: no such thing as bugs lol
  • [15:11] Oskar Linden: oh tere certainly are thigns as bugs
  • [15:12] Coyot Linden: Yeah, Blue, the Corn Field actually wound up in my Incident Postmortem
  • [15:12] Oskar Linden: we're updating the test plans and the code to more precisely test these cases
  • [15:12] Motor Loon: I went to orientation island... which was alot worse than hell °͜°
  • [15:12] Oskar Linden: heh
  • [15:12] Coyot Linden: ha
  • [15:12] xstorm Radek: ?
  • [15:12] Oskar Linden: we took the bumpy road in stride and got ready for the Wednesday RC release
  • [15:12] xstorm Radek: is that not gone ?
  • [15:13] Oskar Linden: by Wednesday we were back on track
  • [15:13] Nalates Urriah: The devil is trying to lease the island...
  • [15:13] Coyot Linden: \o/
  • [15:13] Oskar Linden: more or less
  • [15:13] Oskar Linden: but yes
  • [15:13] Oskar Linden: three RC's are on the grid this week
  • [15:13] Coyot Linden: \o/
  • [15:13] Rex Cronon: at least it was possible to only tp u. could u imagine what could have happened if it were possible to do money transffer and with access to your inventory...
  • [15:13] Oskar Linden: BlueSteel is the code it had last week
  • [15:13] Motor Loon: ouch
  • [15:13] Oskar Linden: the server changes to process prebaked avatar textures for library outfits
  • [15:14] Oskar Linden: Rex, the function worked as intended unintentionally
  • [15:14] Tiberious Neruda: I don't think anything in the new tools would allow for THAT, would it? Just what was seen in Linden Realms, right?
  • [15:14] Oskar Linden: there was never a function for any of the other stuff you mentioned
  • [15:14] xstorm Radek: see not a bug
  • [15:14] Oskar Linden: it's not like llsetrot was tping you
  • [15:15] Oskar Linden: the tp function tps people. it's all it can do
  • [15:15] Rex Cronon: i was just reflecting about other possibly worse scenarios
  • [15:15] Oskar Linden: the bug was that it didn't respect permissions
  • [15:15] Oskar Linden: it can't grant additional permissons tht it doesn't have
  • [15:15] Tiberious Neruda: surprised they didn't also force attach things to us
  • [15:15] Oskar Linden: it's a not possible scenario
  • [15:15] xstorm Radek: oh permissions >:)
  • [15:15] Jonathan Yap: A bug I ran into on Tuesday was an unwanted force attach, I wrote a SEC for it
  • [15:15] Oskar Linden: the exp tools lsl changes do not haev anything to do with L$
  • [15:16] Oskar Linden: LeTigre has the infrastructure changes it had last week
  • [15:16] Oskar Linden: those were what was going to be promoted this week
  • [15:16] Oskar Linden: but we had to sideline it a week because of Monday
  • [15:17] Oskar Linden: the code on LeTigre will most likely be promoted to the main channel next week
  • [15:17] Oskar Linden: Magnum is what had the Exp Tools code
  • [15:17] Oskar Linden: but that has been removed as I said
  • [15:17] Oskar Linden: in its place is a fix for SVC-7902
  • [15:17] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-7902] Problem of not being able to rez on my land continues https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7902
  • [15:17] Oskar Linden: which should make some of you happy
  • [15:18] Tiberious Neruda: but having it require the person accept the teleport or attachment could break a lot of things too
  • [15:18] Oskar Linden: That will most likely see a main channel deploy the week after next.
  • [15:18] Oskar Linden: the functions, when functioning correctly do require user permission to work
  • [15:19] xstorm Radek: oh i remember that its like the griefer teleport gun they had back in the day lol
  • [15:19] Rex Cronon: how easy is to recall the permissions once they were given?
  • [15:19] Motor Loon: what was the problem then on 7902 ?
  • [15:19] Tiberious Neruda: ...I'd honestly prefer that the little box just show the name of the person using those functions on you
  • [15:19] Oskar Linden: easy enough Rex
  • [15:19] Oskar Linden: just took us a day
  • [15:19] Oskar Linden: oh you mean when working as expected?
  • [15:19] xstorm Radek: only a day to fix not bad
  • [15:19] Oskar Linden: I'm not sure
  • [15:19] Rex Cronon: yes. when working righ
  • [15:19] Rex Cronon: right*
  • [15:19] Tiberious Neruda: because at this point, what's the difference between llTeleport and llMapDestination?
  • [15:20] Oskar Linden: you mean like when the code is all out there
  • [15:20] Oskar Linden: and completed
  • [15:20] Oskar Linden: and you accept a permission from an object
  • [15:20] Oskar Linden: how long does it last?
  • [15:20] Nalates Urriah: So, exp tools are anticipated to make main grid in 2 weeks? Or did I misunderstand?
  • [15:20] Coyot Linden: / hand
  • [15:20] Jonathan Yap: yes Oskar
  • [15:20] Oskar Linden: no Nalates
  • [15:20] Oskar Linden: yes coyot
  • [15:20] Coyot Linden: Just to say this about these kinds of emergency rolls:
  • [15:20] Rex Cronon: yes. how long it lasts and how easyis to revoke the perm once granted
  • [15:20] Oskar Linden: it's a good question Rex. I'll try to find out
  • [15:20] Coyot Linden: 1) we only do it when we have to
  • [15:20] xstorm Radek: will that work on stopping vampire biting people with out asking permission too ?
  • [15:20] Maestro Linden: Jonathan, when your agent joins an experience, you remain in the experience for the whole session
  • [15:21] Coyot Linden: 2) we generally do it for you - to stop griefers and the like
  • [15:21] Coyot Linden: 3) there is a price:
  • [15:21] Maestro Linden: or until you join a different experience
  • [15:21] Jonathan Yap: Thank you maestro.
  • [15:21] Coyot Linden: everyone gets set back a week
  • [15:21] Oskar Linden: how are experiences defined maestro?
  • [15:21] Coyot Linden: except the one that failed (EXP) which is likely to get set back at least two or three weeks
  • [15:22] Coyot Linden: They have to go back to the drawing board and start from scratch
  • [15:22] Coyot Linden: <EOF>
  • [15:22] Maestro Linden: Well, I'm not quite sure how it's implemented for the beta,
  • [15:22] Maestro Linden: but for LR for example, there's an LR experience
  • [15:22] Jonathan Yap: I can see how it would be useful for someone to be able to pick a menu entry, like Stop All Animations "Revoke Experience Permissions"
  • [15:22] Rex Cronon: maybe u can set a free sim where u could go to have your "experienc" reset?
  • [15:22] Maestro Linden: I believe that for resident-controlled experiences, you'll see a permissions-type prompt to join the experience
  • [15:23] xstorm Radek: ? and turn it off ?
  • [15:23] Motor Loon: It certainly would be nice to be able to see a list of what objects currently hold your perms (and for what) ... and who owns those objects
  • [15:23] Maestro Linden: then any script which is also part of that experience can obtain certain permission typse (animate avatar, take controls, attach, control your camera, read your camera) automatically, without a 2nd prompt
  • [15:23] Motor Loon: might sort alot of the griefing with animations permissions too
  • [15:23] Tiberious Neruda: Maestro, last I heard about this is that you needed to actually apply for and be accepted in order to use these new tools, right?
  • [15:23] Motor Loon: avatardeformers and such
  • [15:23] Maestro Linden: Yes I believe that's the case, Blue
  • [15:24] xstorm Radek: oh good
  • [15:24] Tiberious Neruda: so then, why neuter the script functions so much?
  • [15:24] Maestro Linden: like why not grant them debit perms automatically? :)
  • [15:24] Tiberious Neruda: no
  • [15:24] Rex Cronon: lol
  • [15:24] Tiberious Neruda: dear god, no
  • [15:24] xstorm Radek: lol
  • [15:25] Tiberious Neruda: but if you're going to make llTeleport nothing more than a glorified llMapDestination, for instance, why even bother?
  • [15:25] Jonathan Yap: Because the teleport happens without any UI input
  • [15:25] Maestro Linden: it will TP your avatar, I'm pretty sure...
  • [15:25] xstorm Radek: back to the days of Green Pyramids and how to make Lindens fast
  • [15:25] Rex Cronon: like having a linden visit your sim, and being able to take all their $L:)
  • [15:25] Maestro Linden: once you're in an experience
  • [15:26] Tiberious Neruda: but not without accepting the prompt to join
  • [15:26] Maestro Linden: if a script in that experience does llTeleportAgent(), you'll be Tped
  • [15:26] Jonathan Yap: You are giving control to a script that can send you around, so you need to give permission to do that
  • [15:26] Maestro Linden: you only see the prompt once per session, I believe
  • [15:26] Maestro Linden: We probably need to get Huseby back for some Q&A
  • [15:26] Maestro Linden: or a FAQ
  • [15:26] Tiberious Neruda: and that's where I find the thing neutered
  • [15:26] Maestro Linden: my information is a bit secondhand
  • [15:27] xstorm Radek: will it stop if the user Logs off and back on ?
  • [15:27] Coyot Linden: yes
  • [15:27] xstorm Radek: good
  • [15:27] Tiberious Neruda: like, when we had the griefing Monday... all that we really needed in order to deal with it was the name of the person whose script was teleporting us
  • [15:27] Rex Cronon: i find it kind of hard to believe that people like to give control of their avatars to others
  • [15:27] Motor Loon: and that was not provided °͜°
  • [15:27] xstorm Radek: lol
  • [15:27] Oskar Linden: the experience tools project is being reworked
  • [15:27] Tiberious Neruda: exactly
  • [15:27] Oskar Linden: these are good questions
  • [15:27] Lucia Nightfire: sadly no teleport functions give owner name or object location, not even llTeleportAgentHome()
  • [15:28] Oskar Linden: and I am working to determine the answer to them before it reaches RC next
  • [15:28] Coyot Linden: Rex: nothing humans do surprises me anymore
  • [15:28] Tiberious Neruda: and Motor knows... he was there
  • [15:28] Jonathan Yap: I think there should be a viewer menu entry to revoke the experience; logging off is a bit harsh
  • [15:28] xstorm Radek: Blue i can tell you how to get that name but im told thats a no no under the TOS now
  • [15:28] Theresa Tennyson: Rex, ever hear of RLV?
  • [15:28] Coyot Linden: ^^^ exactly
  • [15:28] Motor Loon: * [12:11] Second Life: You have been teleported by the object 'Object' on the parcel 'Pooley Stage'.
  • [15:28] Rex Cronon: i heard of it. never used it
  • [15:28] Tiberious Neruda: rihgt
  • [15:28] Kelly Linden: I have improved the message already.
  • [15:28] Motor Loon: good good
  • [15:29] Kelly Linden: and improved the logging on the back end as well.
  • [15:29] Motor Loon: someone claimed that being in BUSY mode would prevent being tp'd ??
  • [15:29] Tiberious Neruda: all that we needed to add to that box was "owned by <insert name here>", and then we knew who to AR
  • [15:29] xstorm Radek: kelly thats not script snooping is it ?
  • [15:29] Kelly Linden: xstorm: Is that comment supposed to make sense?
  • [15:29] Jonathan Yap: also think about adding to that message "located at <x,y,z>"
  • [15:30] Rex Cronon: what if i have a script attached that teleports back each time it detects i was teleported?
  • [15:30] xstorm Radek: well when the script tells what people are using what scripts ?
  • [15:30] Kelly Linden: Who said anything about that?
  • [15:30] Tiberious Neruda: Jonathan, why would that be needed? If it's a griefer using it, all we need is that name. The location only helps tracking down the object for GETTING said name
  • [15:30] xstorm Radek: well how will it report more info on the object ?
  • [15:31] Jonathan Yap: If I want to find the owner I need to get to the object to look at it
  • [15:31] Kelly Linden: If you get teleported it will tell you the name of the owner of the object that teleported you. I'm fairly sure that doesn't fall under 'script snooping'
  • [15:31] xstorm Radek: oh i see
  • [15:31] Tiberious Neruda: we already have the owner name on objects that use llTeleportAgentHome, so...
  • [15:32] Oskar Linden: like I said this project is back in development now
  • [15:32] Oskar Linden: it's not going on the grid til it gets some working over
  • [15:32] Motor Loon: Good good
  • [15:32] Oskar Linden: when it's ready again we'll put it here and let you know
  • [15:32] Tiberious Neruda: my only concern is that you guys not neuter this QUITE so much
  • [15:32] Rex Cronon: it would be nice if the ave that is teleported is told script/objects/uiid/location of teleporting script
  • [15:32] Oskar Linden: then we can pile on it together
  • [15:32] Motor Loon: will this delay pathfinding?
  • [15:33] xstorm Radek: now that will not stop the orbs that sends people home when on others land will it ?
  • [15:33] Gooden Uggla: huseby had said that permissions revoke when the attachment is detached in the remove clothing dialog, did that not get implemented?
  • [15:33] Tiberious Neruda: 'cause I really like how Linden Realms was rather seamless when it came to entering and moving around
  • [15:33] Lucia Nightfire: llTeleportAgentHome() still works
  • [15:33] Rex Cronon: if u were to mute the owner or object would u still get teleported
  • [15:33] Rex Cronon: ?
  • [15:33] Lucia Nightfire: thats a land owner moderation tool to begin with
  • [15:34] Gooden Uggla: rex will a chair animate you if you mute it's owner?
  • [15:34] Rex Cronon: i don't know
  • [15:34] Oskar Linden: it's being added Gooden
  • [15:34] xstorm Radek: i do not know
  • [15:34] Oskar Linden: this is why it's not in RC now
  • [15:34] Oskar Linden: the questions you raised last week were valid questions
  • [15:34] Gooden Uggla: oskart, it was sposed to be added first, i'm disappointed in Huseby
  • [15:34] Oskar Linden: and prompted us to pull the code off the grid
  • [15:35] Gooden Uggla: *nods*
  • [15:35] Oskar Linden: well, that's what it is Gooden
  • [15:35] Oskar Linden: and that's where we're at with it now
  • [15:35] Oskar Linden: so... :-)
  • [15:36] Oskar Linden: this weekend should be much more boring
  • [15:36] Lucia Nightfire: lol
  • [15:36] Motor Loon: boring can be good °͜°
  • [15:36] Oskar Linden: nothing in the RC's is at a particular risk for exploit
  • [15:36] Oskar Linden: but please feel free to prove me wrong
  • [15:36] Oskar Linden: if you do... file a SEC don't blog it :-)
  • [15:36] Oskar Linden: that's all I ask
  • [15:37] Tiberious Neruda: and I really do give props for getting things under control so quickly when it came to the griefing... hell, I went back there to see if someone would wish me away again on Tuesday, but by then you'd already had it patched
  • [15:37] Oskar Linden: I think we can rest easy until it is time for the exp tools to make their appearance again
  • [15:37] Gooden Uggla: boring is good when it comes to RC's...
  • [15:37] Oskar Linden: I agree Gooden
  • [15:37] Coyot Linden: FYI, folks, when I said 'back to the drawing board', I meant starting the release process over, not necessarily scrapping the code and starting over.
  • [15:38] xstorm Radek: i think it is best to take time ti fix every thing befor its on agni
  • [15:39] Gooden Uggla: Coyot it's wise to move it to the end of the line, the inability to revoke permissions by TPing away is a serio9us step, not to be entered lightly
  • [15:39] Coyot Linden: I agree completely, Gooden
  • [15:40] Oskar Linden: I can open the meeting to a broader discussion
  • [15:40] xstorm Radek: i was reading them jira list was it server freezing or viewer
  • [15:41] Nalates Urriah: SVC-7727 is still a pain...
  • [15:41] Flame of Jira: [#SVC-7727] Aditi grid problem. After changing my password to cause my inventory on Aditi to update, my inventory no longer saves changes made to it from session to session. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7727
  • [15:41] Motor Loon: Might I suggest cleanup in aisle 3 - for Morris and the usergroup 'open jira items' ?
  • [15:41] Motor Loon: both are getting almost equally messy
  • [15:42] Oskar Linden: maestro do you have any news about aditi login issues?
  • [15:42] Maestro Linden: I've heard that there's a fix
  • [15:42] Maestro Linden: I'm not sure that anybody's tested it though
  • [15:42] Maestro Linden: it's in the QA backlog at this point
  • [15:43] Theresa Tennyson: I don't know what the timing of the infrastructure projects that Le Tigre supports but promoting Magnum sooner would help a lot of frustrated people - a lot of them frustrated PAYING people.
  • [15:44] Coyot Linden: Theresa: that's understood
  • [15:44] xstorm Radek: will they not be mad if they have to pay more for bugs then not to have problems ?
  • [15:44] Theresa Tennyson: Kewl.
  • [15:44] Coyot Linden: Sometimes, the unsexy projects need to go out first
  • [15:44] Coyot Linden: to pave the way for the others
  • [15:44] Oskar Linden: we understand Theresa
  • [15:44] Motor Loon: yeah get the unsexy ladies off the stage
  • [15:44] Coyot Linden: haha
  • [15:44] SonicAnd Miles: your DNS is done
  • [15:45] SonicAnd Miles: ahh, wrong IM
  • [15:45] Coyot Linden: heh]
  • [15:45] Oskar Linden: :-)
  • [15:45] SonicAnd Miles: sry
  • [15:45] Oskar Linden: the fixes in Magnum will go out as soon as we can get them out
  • [15:45] Oskar Linden: right now that window is the week after next
  • [15:45] Coyot Linden: right
  • [15:45] Theresa Tennyson: Okay.
  • [15:46] xstorm Radek: is not magnum running on agni ?
  • [15:46] Oskar Linden: magnum is on agni
  • [15:46] Theresa Tennyson: Yes, and it seems to be working fine - I"m not really that affected personally.
  • [15:46] xstorm Radek: oh ok i was thinking i was mix up
  • [15:46] Oskar Linden: and if the rezzing bug is affecting your region you can contact support and request they move your region to Magnum
  • [15:46] Coyot Linden: magnum is a part of agni
  • [15:47] Theresa Tennyson: It's the Linden homes that are really hit hard.
  • [15:47] xstorm Radek: how so ?
  • [15:47] Gooden Uggla: oh?
  • [15:47] Rex Cronon: because they r too many and too close to one another? talking about linden homes
  • [15:48] xstorm Radek: lol
  • [15:48] Theresa Tennyson: You aren't allowed to rezz if the selection ray hits outside of your property onto no-rezz land even if the object itself would rezz in your land.
  • [15:48] Maestro Linden: No, I think it's just because the parcels are small and they're surrounded by a big no-build parcel, Rex
  • [15:49] xstorm Radek: get more land then
  • [15:49] xstorm Radek: rent a region
  • [15:49] Maestro Linden: You see the bug pretty easily if you try to rez objects on an elevated platform above a small parcel that's surrounded by a no-build parcel
  • [15:49] Gooden Uggla: linden homes are occupied by people who actually get into the support queue, i would assume that support would mention a disproportionate amount of tickets on 1 bug
  • [15:50] xstorm Radek: if i was the person on the no build land i will not wish people plopping objects over my land
  • [15:50] Rex Cronon: could be possible to be able to rez if u go higher?
  • [15:50] xstorm Radek: why not rent more land ?
  • [15:51] Rex Cronon: like rez a temp platform at 2k and do some rezzing there, and bring everything down if is ok
  • [15:51] Theresa Tennyson: Normally when you send out your selection ray it's stopped by the walls or floor. With this bug, it goes right through them ONLY when determining if you can rezz or not.
  • [15:51] Kelly Linden: I can give specifics on this bug and fix if you want
  • [15:51] Gooden Uggla: when they went to 64x64x64 default prim max, didn't they add encroachment limits? if so, it's a "feature"
  • [15:52] Gooden Uggla: expected behavior
  • [15:52] MartinRJ Fayray: no xstorm, the bug is: you try to rez something over YOUR land, but the raycast beam (which tries to detect whether you have rights to rez on the spot where you just tried to rez) detects something on the adjacent parcel instead, so that you can't rez anything, although it's your own place
  • [15:53] xstorm Radek: oh i see the raycast has a problem with set limits ?
  • [15:53] Gooden Uggla: ah, ok, nm - that sucks
  • [15:53] Motor Loon: so its a beam-bug
  • [15:53] Motor Loon: °͜°
  • [15:53] Kelly Linden: To address a grief mode of rezing on parcels that didn't allow rez causing enough sim lag to disconnect users or crash the region the check for 'can I rez here' was moved much further up the process, which makes sense. However there was a mistake in that logic which instead of correctly calculating where the rez would happen it used the ray end point sent by the viewer.
  • [15:53] Coyot Linden: Motor: ha
  • [15:54] Rex Cronon: so in theory u could still rez a huge thing, if u use a "moded" viewer?
  • [15:54] Kelly Linden: This means if that end point is somewhere you could rez, even though the rez would have happened where it was allowed, it would get erroneously blocked.
  • [15:54] xstorm Radek: ok i see now
  • [15:54] Nalates Urriah: So, can we rez if we go next door and it rays back to our land?
  • [15:54] Theresa Tennyson: And no-copy items temporarily disappeared when it failet too.
  • [15:55] Theresa Tennyson: *failed
  • [15:55] Lucia Nightfire: if you cam's pos is over your land you should be fine
  • [15:55] xstorm Radek: thats a bit new to me :)
  • [15:56] Motor Loon: agree with the cam thing... I've seen that work on my mainland parcel too
  • [15:56] Rex Cronon: i don't thinkthat the pos of your camera should have anthything to do with this. oh, that is how it determines where u want something rezzed?
  • [15:56] Motor Loon: I shouldnt but apparent it does
  • [15:56] Gooden Uggla: kelly: any idea when it'll be fixed?
  • [15:56] xstorm Radek: what about a script that will center object to any given user land ?
  • [15:57] Theresa Tennyson: It IS fixed on Magnum : )
  • [15:57] Kelly Linden: Gooden: I think the fix is on RC now, right Oskar?
  • [15:57] Maestro Linden: It's fixed in Magnum now
  • [15:57] Motor Loon: yeah all good...
  • [15:57] Kelly Linden: So, when magnum gets promoted it will be fixed everywhere.
  • [15:57] Maestro Linden: or rather, since yesterday
  • [15:57] Gooden Uggla: cool
  • [15:57] Lucia Nightfire: its teh start pos of teh raycast (cam pos) which is referrenced atm instead of the end, which ever way you want to look at it
  • [15:58] Oskar Linden: we're almost at 4 o'clock here
  • [15:58] Oskar Linden: and I know some of you are going to head out to the PFUG
  • [15:58] Nalates Urriah: yep
  • [15:58] Motor Loon: yep
  • [15:58] Oskar Linden: thank you all for coming and for your feedback
  • [15:59] Kelly Linden: It is one end of the raycast instead of whatever it collides with. I thought it was the end that hit the ground, but I could be mistaken.
  • [15:59] SonicAnd Miles: and im outta here guys, see ya next time :)
  • [15:59] Motor Loon: thanks for having us °͜°
  • [15:59] Rex Cronon: tc oskar
  • [15:59] MartinRJ: goodbye Oskar Linden
  • [15:59] Coyot Linden: tc all
  • [15:59] Oskar Linden: have a good weekend!
  • [15:59] Rex Cronon: and glad u guy fixed that tp bug:)
  • [15:59] Nalates Urriah: Thx Lindens
