- [12:01] Dedric Mauriac: Thanks Alexa, I got it.
- [12:01] Alexa Linden: Hey Soft :)
- [12:01] Dedric Mauriac: two of them now. heh. guess SL is a bit slow.
- [12:02] Alexa Linden: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Monday_Agenda
- [12:02] Alexa Linden: is today's agenda
- [12:02] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5147
- [12:02] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-5147] 301 & 302 HTTP Status codes don't work as they should
- [12:02] Asterion Coen: hello folks !
- [12:03] Alexa Linden: hello :)
- [12:03] Tillie Ariantho: Hey Asterion :)
- [12:04] Alexa Linden: test....
- [12:04] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Pong.
- [12:04] Asterion Coen: hop
- [12:04] Alexa Linden: ty :)
- [12:04] Tillie Ariantho: Didnt use those status codes yet.
- [12:05] Alexa Linden: soft?
- [12:05] Asterion Coen: (hopefully it's not raining)
- [12:05] Soft Linden: Yup, this should be imported
- [12:05] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:05] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-16412
- [12:05] Aargle Zymurgy: a test? there's a test?
- [12:05] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-16412] 9.12 ATi Drivers underwater bug and starred clouds
- [12:06] Sahkolihaa Contepomi shivers at ATI.
- [12:06] Soft Linden: Yeah, this should be imported too...
- [12:06] Soft Linden: We probably need to ping ATI about it
- [12:06] Tillie Ariantho: Yes, thats a new bug with the latest drivers, at least the starred clouds.
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: kk
- [12:06] Tillie Ariantho: The bugged underwater was there with previous drivers already.
- [12:06] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5164
- [12:06] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-5164] Transfer from the Teen grid to the main grid breaks scripted objects.
- [12:06] Soft Linden: Ah - Tillie, would you add that in a comment and link it if it's not?
- [12:07] Tillie Ariantho: Sure can do
- [12:07] Soft Linden: Nicely spotted :)
- [12:07] Soft Linden: interesting.
- [12:07] Soft Linden: Let's import, but also ask if someone can name a specific item still in their inventory that we can try it on
- [12:08] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:08] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-15962
- [12:08] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-15962] While searching in inventory, it will erase found items and go to no items found and search has to be started again.
- [12:09] Alexa Linden: looks like a dup
- [12:09] Soft Linden: Weiiiird, I've never seen this before...
- [12:09] Alexa Linden: me neither
- [12:09] [[User:Sahkolihaa Contepomi doesn't seem to understand this one.
- [12:09] Soft Linden: So they're typing in the inventory search bar, a blue toast notification appears, and it screws up the search?
- [12:09] Dedric Mauriac: sounds like items start to be found, and then the list clears itself
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: the only thing I have steal attention is the friends notices when trying to map someone
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: but not with inventory
- [12:10] Soft Linden: Those toasts don't steal focus or anything. They shouldn't have any bearing on the search window
- [12:10] Latif Khalifa: it claims that if you do inv search and an alert shows up like friends notification, search gets screwed up (never seen this myself)
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: right
- [12:10] User:Ardy Lay: Calling card status change triggers it?
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: me neither
- [12:10] Dedric Mauriac: does the item they search for match a calling card name?
- [12:10] Alexa Linden: and I'm still thinking it's a dup as Ellla listed
- [12:11] Latif Khalifa: most probably
- [12:11] Soft Linden: It sure looks like a dupe, or at least releated
- [12:11] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:11] Alexa Linden: dup it is
- [12:11] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-5158] Touch Event takes much more Sim-script time if its touched 1 time!
- [12:11] Soft Linden: Let's import the original though
- [12:11] Soft Linden: On the last one
- [12:11] Soft Linden: The original has fewer votes, no import
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5158
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:12] Latif Khalifa: measuring script time, with top scripts.... is not exactly an exact science ;)
- [12:12] Soft Linden: This one's interesting...
- [12:13] Soft Linden: Nobody touch this box please...
- [12:13] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: 0.073 isn't really much?
- [12:13] Dedric Mauriac: need better tools to add watches to scripts
- [12:13] Soft Linden: Yeah, but soooooo many objects have touch events, it adds up
- [12:13] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: True.
- [12:13] Object: Hello, Avatar!
- [12:13] Object: Hello, Avatar!

- [12:14] Aimee Trescothick: :)
- [12:14] Sahkolihaa Contepomi waves.
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: we're on https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-5158 Aimee
- [12:14] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-5158] Touch Event takes much more Sim-script time if its touched 1 time!
- [12:14] Dedric Mauriac: hello Object
- [12:14] Soft Linden: I'm letting that settle a moment...
- [12:14] Aimee Trescothick: thank you :)
- [12:15] Soft Linden: alright, sitting at 0.03 to 0.031 right now...

- [12:15] Soft Linden: Yup. It's staying up at 0.058 meow
- [12:15] Soft Linden: Let's import
- [12:15] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:15] Soft Linden: VERY nice find
- [12:15] Dedric Mauriac: well, in one prim you have 20 scripts - 20 registered events. the other prim only had 1 registered event
- [12:15] Tillie Ariantho: That avatar bopping back and forth when you look at something needs a fix too. ^^
- [12:16] Dedric Mauriac: makes sense why one would take up more time
- [12:16] Soft Linden: Ah no - I set up 20 scripts, and checked times before and after touching it, Dedric.
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: I like my head shake!
- [12:16] Soft Linden: 20 never touched vs 20 after touch - it about doubled.
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13709
- [12:16] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-13709] HUDs are detached upon login or 'detach' after TP
- [12:16] [[User:Latif Khalifa is always suspicios of top scripts instrumentation, never know if the bug is in top scripts or in the script :D
- [12:16] Soft Linden: This makes me a saaaaaad Linden.
- [12:16] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: o_o?
- [12:17] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: I've...never seen this.
- [12:17] Tillie Ariantho: Top scripts is hard to use when it always jumps from a high to a low value. ^^
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: never seen this either
- [12:17] Soft Linden: Hmm.
- [12:17] Dedric Mauriac: Top script would be better if it was an aggregate of the last minute. :)
- [12:17] Soft Linden: I've seen trouble with them not appearing at login with like 1,800 gestures active, because the gestures load before attachments, and the attach potentially times out
- [12:17] Tillie Ariantho: I had some trouble with detached things too, some time, but couldnt identify the cause and I didnt have it for long now.
- [12:17] Latif Khalifa: i've spent a lot of time debugging some script just to find out that top scripts counts script time twice on the seats ;)
- [12:17] Alexa Linden: and normally have around 4 huds min, on at all times
- [12:17] Soft Linden: But not like this.
- [12:18] Soft Linden: Can we NMI this, ask what all they're wearing, or if they'd be willing to set up the avatar so it's having trouble and let a Linden log in?
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:18] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-141
- [12:18] Yann Dufaux: heya, sorry this interupt ㋡
- [12:18] JIRA-helper: [#MISC-141] Private Sim Goes Offline Because Of Non Payment - Tenants Inventory
- [12:19] Soft Linden: I never see this, and between my Restrained Life and griefing HUDs, I'm usually wearing half a dozen.
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: sadly this is expected behavior
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: I know it stinks if you are a renter
- [12:19] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: So much for 'Soft' >.>
- [12:19] Soft Linden: So far as I know, concierge will bring a region back up for a couple days for people to get their things back if requested.
- [12:19] Dedric Mauriac: it would be nice if there was a message sent to all content owners
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:19] Aargle Zymurgy: I had to help a good friend do just that, Soft.
- [12:19] Alexa Linden: so I'm marking EB
- [12:19] Dedric Mauriac: seems more of a feature request
- [12:19] Aargle Zymurgy: sadly, it's awkwardly manual
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: and suggesting to contact support
- [12:20] Soft Linden: The problem is - regions aren't taken offline permanently due to non-payment. The resi might still pay for the region a week or two late.
- [12:20] Soft Linden: It's not always clear when a region is down for good...
- [12:20] Alexa Linden: yes
- [12:20] Dedric Mauriac: yea, but content owners have no way to access their content
- [12:20] Latif Khalifa: i hope the return objects is done before the final takedown
- [12:20] Soft Linden: And if we returned things right away, then what happens when the region comes back and people want their parcels back?
- [12:21] Dedric Mauriac: A warning before it's taken down would be beneficial
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: but then we get into privacy issues
- [12:21] Soft Linden: Yeah, I like that, Dedric.
- [12:21] Alexa Linden: it's a tricky situation all around
- [12:21] Aargle Zymurgy: the privacy thing is pretty big...
- [12:21] Soft Linden: Just notifying all parcel owners that a region is pending shutdown would be helpful.
- [12:22] Latif Khalifa: there are many method of renting... will work of the land is "sold"... not for other tennats, but it's better than nothing
- [12:22] Soft Linden: I think NMI on this - it wants more discussion
- [12:22] Dedric Mauriac: You have 1 or more objects located on region "xxxx", which is scheduled to go offline in 1 day. please remove your items before it goes offline... blah
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: I'm skipping the next one - misc-3337 as it's Linden Build related
- [12:22] JIRA-helper: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-3337
- [#MISC-3337] Nova Albion: Various Infrastructure Bugs
- [12:22] Aargle Zymurgy: the time I refer to, I was also an estate manager, friends with the owners.... then, for reasons unknown, they totally pulled the plug. RL phone number gone, e-mail accounts closed, etc.
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: I'll take it and sent it to the right team
- [12:22] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1585
- [12:22] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-1585] libsecondlife clients unable to login, message returned it "Second Life cannot be accessed from this computer", However viewer from same computer with same account information successfully logs in.
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: march 2008
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: needs more info - still a problem?
- [12:23] Robin Cornelius: it was linux clients/mono clients that used a null mac address
- [12:23] Latif Khalifa: no it works fine, you can close it down
- [12:23] Ardy Lay: Hehe... Tell them to use their MAC address.
- [12:23] Dedric Mauriac: i'm pretty sure i've been able to log in with open metaverse since then
- [12:23] Robin Cornelius: monos get mac address returns a null where as on .net it works
- [12:23] Soft Linden: Actually, they should file that on the openmetaverse (was libsl) issue tracker, not ours
- [12:23] Latif Khalifa: Ardy, it's a problem with mon always givinvg null mac
- [12:24] Latif Khalifa: mono
- [12:24] Robin Cornelius: i think the null mac address was unblocked on the SL servers
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1814
- [12:24] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-1814] Trains derail at turns since the latest update. (Havok4 Beta)
- [12:24] Latif Khalifa: so someone does something naughty, gets banned and all linux libomv users get baned
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: this is a dup
- [12:24] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Beta...?
- [12:24] Soft Linden: The libomv guys would get a hold of us if there were a service problem, on that last one.
- [12:24] Alexa Linden: I think we had almost the same one this month
- [12:25] Tillie Ariantho: Blocking MAC adresses is as bad as blocking IP adresses.
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: I'll take this one
- [12:25] Soft Linden: For this, I don't think there would be any havok4 changes to fix havok1 content, as it would risk breaking havok4 content, which is more plentiful than havok1 content at this point.
- [12:25] Dedric Mauriac: Michael Linden didn't mention anything about it last week
- [12:25] Alexa Linden: ya, I'll check on the internal one tied to the dup of this
- [12:26] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: And we have Havok7 coming.
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: so I'll take this
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2012
- [12:26] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-2012] Sim not stable after rollout of 1.20
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: needs more info
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: oldie
- [12:26] Yann Dufaux: not stable?
- [12:26] Alexa Linden: a year old
- [12:26] Aimee Trescothick: off course it's not stable while it's rolling
- [12:27] Dedric Mauriac: why are these bugs still open?
- [12:27] Yann Dufaux: yeah, cause the 1.34 is ok for me ㋡
- [12:27] Soft Linden: For a single region like this, they should really be contacting concierge/support
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:27] Soft Linden: This would be the king of all "support through JIRA slows down the process" issues :/
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:27] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2054
- [12:27] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-2054] llSensor returns duplicate results
- [12:28] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: How many avatars? If it's 16, it'll give weird results anyway, no?
- [12:28] Soft Linden: Well, it would drop avatars, not duplicate them
- [12:28] Latif Khalifa: i have seen this, without a clear repro... i does involve two seated avatars sitting on a two prims near by
- [12:28] Thickbrick Sleaford: heh, TWO_PI arc
- [12:28] Dedric Mauriac: if more than 16, gets only closest ones i think
- [12:29] Soft Linden: This has a nice repro script...
- [12:29] Tillie Ariantho: "when at least four avatars are present" I see
- [12:29] Soft Linden: Yeah. And stop it with the TWO_PI :)
- [12:29] Tillie Ariantho: 5th comment
- [12:29] Aimee Trescothick: one PI should be enough for any avatar
- [12:29] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Hm, never seen this on my MystiTool.
- [12:29] Dedric Mauriac: specifically for HUDs
- [12:30] Dedric Mauriac: she may be putting in a world around until its fixed
- [12:30] Dedric Mauriac: work around
- [12:30] Soft Linden: Let's import this. Shouldn't be too tough to QA.
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:30] Soft Linden: Could make a script that actually checks the detected* list for dupes.
- [12:30] Thickbrick Sleaford: IIRC the TWO_PI causes duplicates
- [12:30] Soft Linden: oh really!
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: another oldie
- [12:30] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2754
- [12:30] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-2754] "When Left-clicked]]: Buy Object" not reset to "Touch/grab (default)" when a No Modify object is bought
- [12:30] Soft Linden: Thaaaat would be interesting
- [12:31] Soft Linden: Yeah, let's import this.
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:31] Soft Linden: I've seen so many homes with $ cursor items all over the place.
- [12:31] Soft Linden: It's like the place is haunted by Ayn Rand :)
- [12:31] Latif Khalifa: yeah
- [12:31] Dedric Mauriac: yea... too many things have "for sale" which are not for sale.
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2955
- [12:31] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-2955] Second Life Server 1.24 | Invalid Locations turn Red and display '(Offline)'
- [12:31] Thickbrick Sleaford: lol
- [12:31] Latif Khalifa: and then you get "this object appeaers not to be for sale" ;)
- [12:31] Alexa Linden: hahahahaha
- [12:31] Dedric Mauriac: love the waka waka
- [12:32] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: LOL, I remember this bug.
- [12:32] Soft Linden: I like the map art.
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: so.....
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: can't repro?
- [12:32] Dedric Mauriac: put as "works as expected"
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: under advisement
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: or yes
- [12:32] Latif Khalifa: lol
- [12:32] Soft Linden: Does this even still happen?
- [12:32] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: It doesn't do it anymore for me though.
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: expected behavior?
- [12:32] Alexa Linden: Hey Ellla :D
- [12:33] Dedric Mauriac: doesn't turn red for me anymore
- [12:33] Soft Linden: Looks like 'Fixed' - and someone can yell if they can still do it
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:33] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3448
- [12:33] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-3448] Texture asset permissions viral to prims
- [12:34] Alexa Linden: is this a bug or feature request
- [12:34] Soft Linden: This is by design. If you un-apply the texture, it should reset. There's one permission that doesn't get reset, but that's set to be fixed
- [12:35] Soft Linden: I think it's no-transfer, which if you apply a texture and then remove the texture, no-transfer doesn't get reset. We covered that in a previous week.
- [12:35] Soft Linden: It's expected behavior
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:35] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4109
- [12:35] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-4109] llLoadURL() maximum URL length problematic with http-in
- [12:35] Soft Linden: Yeah, let's import
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:36] Soft Linden: loooooooooooong urls are common
- [12:36] Dedric Mauriac: i've had this problem as well. I had to use a service such as tiny url
- [12:36] Soft Linden: How long can an LSL string be - is that just memory-limited?
- [12:36] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-598
- [12:36] JIRA-helper: [#SVC-598] No Mod assets can be renamed by dropping multiples into a prim
- [12:36] Dedric Mauriac: URL's i believe, can be 1024 characters max
- [12:36] Tillie Ariantho: what are multiples? ,)
- [12:36] Tillie Ariantho: Is that a heap of singletons? ^^
- [12:37] Soft Linden: I think there's an internal on this one, or it's a dupe...
- [12:37] Dedric Mauriac: i know what this is, but i think it was addressed recently
- [12:37] Latif Khalifa: Soft, I complained to Kelly about header including query string the part that comes after ? in urls being limited to 255 chars, he said it was pretty much impossible to fix due to the way caps server was implemented
- [12:37] Dedric Mauriac: create no-modify object with name 63 characters long
- [12:37] Dedric Mauriac: give 3 to someone. they drop all 3 into a prims inventory and it's renamed 1, 2, 3
- [12:37] Soft Linden: Yeah, this can be linked to DEV-42414 internally
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12682
- [12:37] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-12682] My legs (right above ankles) now have a big bump.
- [12:37] Alexa Linden: Kankles!
- [12:37] Dedric Mauriac: wait, less than 63 chars long
- [12:37] Tillie Ariantho: Dedric]]: ah ^^
- [12:37] Soft Linden: Oh wait no - that's not the one
- [12:38] Soft Linden: Alexa - go ahead and import the last one please - mine was a bad link
- [12:38] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: This happens when feet are set to 0?
- [12:38] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:39] Latif Khalifa: take off the shoes
- [12:39] Tillie Ariantho: One of the many weirdnesses of the shape.
- [12:39] Tillie Ariantho: Er, that bump on the leg is just default avatar, no?
- [12:39] Dedric Mauriac: anorexics only?
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: sometimes it's also how the designer made the pants layer
- [12:39] Soft Linden: Less salty food will solve the swollen ankles. Next!
- [12:39] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: LOL
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: lol
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: it they designer applies an alpha on the bottom
- [12:39] Soft Linden: odd
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: but doesn't adjust the actual pant layer to reflect where the pants should start
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: you can get this
- [12:40] Dedric Mauriac: doesn't look like she's wearing pants
- [12:40] Soft Linden: Can we NMI, ask if they see this on other people too, and if they might be wearing the same underpants layer or foot shape with the different pants they're trying?
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: sure
- [12:40] Latif Khalifa: the displacement (bump) is only calculated from the pants wearable ;)
- [12:40] Dedric Mauriac: says her friends are experincing this
- [12:40] Tillie Ariantho: This is just the ancles, looks like their width is fixed, so if you make the feet thinner, they stick out.
- [12:40] Asterion Coen: if the girl pants not adjusting fine, where is the world going ?
- [12:40] Soft Linden: And yeah, Alexa - good point on flared cuffs with invisible pant legs :)
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: hahahaha
- [12:40] Soft Linden: You could make real elephant ankles doing that!
- [12:40] Dedric Mauriac: maybe she is wearing prim feet
- [12:41] Yann Dufaux: loll Asterion
- [12:41] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13534
- [12:41] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-13534] "Use Selection for Grid" is broken -- can not "snap to grid" in units sized to selected prim; does not create a grid based on reference prim's location
- [12:41] Latif Khalifa: sometimes designers shorte pants just bu shortened texture, this leaves this problem
- [12:42] Yann Dufaux: fixed on 1.23 i think ...
- [12:42] Dedric Mauriac: wierd. i've never used this feature for snapping on selection size
- [12:42] Yann Dufaux: moment i look
- [12:42] Ellla McMahon: does ankle size relate to leg width or feet width ?
- [12:42] Dedric Mauriac: it relates to elbow size
- [12:42] Soft Linden: So if I understand on this - the problem is that the grid size is correct, but that it's not centered on the reference prim?
- [12:43] Thickbrick Sleaford: i htink it stems from confusin what is the original prim when shift-copying
- [12:43] Yann Dufaux: Alexa]]: i think its a dupe like this jira]]: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11640
- [12:43] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-11640] the backside of a prim jitters wildly when resizing
- [12:43] Aargle Zymurgy: trying that now. that seems to be correct.
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: ok, linking to the one Yann threw out
- [12:44] Dedric Mauriac: where is "use selection for grid" ?
- [12:44] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-14507
- [12:44] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-14507] Alpha incorrectly implemented for PNG images
- [12:44] Thickbrick Sleaford: Dedric]]: Shift G
- [12:45] Latif Khalifa: VWR-14507 would be nice feature request
- [12:46] Latif Khalifa: "Discard alpha channel on uploaded images if fully opaque"
- [12:46] Latif Khalifa: i have seen many noob builders get bitten by it
- [12:46] Dedric Mauriac: i've gotten bittin by it and not a noob. i just upload jpegs instead with minimal compression
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: moon toed a feature request to this
- [12:47] Asterion Coen: not only noobs :)
- [12:47] Dedric Mauriac: bitmaps work as well
- [12:47] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Why not use bit...read my mind.
- [12:47] LSL Scientist: and TGA
- [12:47] Latif Khalifa: yeah sometimes i forget to export tga's as 24 bit, and instead upload 32 bit
- [12:47] Latif Khalifa: and then get alpha glitches
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: FR has only 2 votes, but I do like the idea
- [12:47] Dedric Mauriac: yea. it's wierd that you upload an opaque texture and then it's fighting with alpha clipping
- [12:47] Soft Linden: VWR-13534 wasn't a dupe - should be imported
- [12:47] Latif Khalifa: perhaps change summary to]]: Discard alpha channel on uploaded images if fully opaque
- [12:48] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:48] Dedric Mauriac: the problem would be mute if alpha clipping was fixed
- [12:48] LSL Scientist underlines: ________________________
- [12:49] Soft Linden: Yeah, 14507 should be imported
- [12:49] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:49] Soft Linden: Teeeeechnically, it is a violation of spec
- [12:49] Asterion Coen: :)
- [12:49] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-14847
- [12:49] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-14847] voiceclient spams console, voice off, on opensim with]]: region doesn't have ParcelVoiceInfoRequest capability
- [12:49] Latif Khalifa: yeah but empty alpha channel causes all sorts of glitches
- [12:49] Soft Linden: So Beware is right, wins on strict spec wonkery
- [12:49] Asterion Coen: (designer folks r barely technic) :)
- [12:49] Soft Linden: This one is fixed internally...
- [12:49] Soft Linden: sec, I can find it...
- [12:49] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:49] Dedric Mauriac: lets get spec wonkery and get rid of alpha clipping
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: ala snow soft?
- [12:50] Thickbrick Sleaford: The voice spam was already fixed in snowglobe... twice...
- [12:50] Soft Linden: Ah, okay :)
- [12:50] Soft Linden: Then it's fixed thrice!
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: jinx
- [12:50] Soft Linden: Yeah, would someone link it to the snow issue if it isn't? We can just set the date on it.
- [12:51] Soft Linden: Should be rolled out fixed before it comes up again
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: I believe it is but I'll check afterward
- [12:51] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3929
- [12:51] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-3929] Trying to "wear" multiple objects from inventory results in "Cannot complete attachment" message, only first object is worn
- [12:51] Dedric Mauriac: hmm.... expected?
- [12:51] Soft Linden: Naw
- [12:51] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: That happens when there's sim or asset lag.
- [12:51] Latif Khalifa: snoglobe comes with its own bag of bugs, streaming media works depending on the moon phase :)
- [12:51] Dedric Mauriac: seems like they are trying to wear it all in same spot
- [12:51] Thickbrick Sleaford: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SNOW-250
- [12:51] JIRA-helper: [#SNOW-250] Region without Voice Caps Spams the SecondLife.log endlessly
- [12:51] Yann Dufaux: yeap, this is like a lag, or fetshed inventory process .. i think
- [12:51] Soft Linden: Try shift-selecting a pair of boots with shins too - four parts? You'll get it almost every time.
- [12:51] Questar Utu: Multiple objects on different attach points. I've had that.
- [12:51] Soft Linden: The last one was legit, should be imported
- [12:52] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Streaming media on Snowglobe doesn't work on KDE. I even filed this on JIRA this morning. :(
- [12:52] Alexa Linden: 3929 soft?
- [12:52] Dedric Mauriac: yea, but maybe it didn't get the attachment point location yet
- [12:52] Tillie Ariantho: The client should "queue" the list of stuff you want to attach properl and not just block it with a weird message.
- [12:52] Soft Linden: yup
- [12:52] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:52] Tillie Ariantho: properly
- [12:52] Questar Utu: Try wearing a few different objects already set to different locations from your inventory.
- [12:52] Soft Linden: I run into that myself pretty often if I shift-select instead of trying to wear a whole folder
- [12:52] Questar Utu: Not add to or replace outfit, but wear.
- [12:52] Soft Linden: Bane of frankenfurries everywhere.
- [12:52] Latif Khalifa: i got used to wearing one by one
- [12:53] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6421
- [12:53] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-6421] Cannot mute until profile information is loaded
- [12:53] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Heh.
- [12:53] Tillie Ariantho: Soft]]: rightclick attach, rightclick attach... 3 or 4 times and you get it at least once.
- [12:53] Soft Linden: yup
- [12:53] Latif Khalifa: Tillie, do it more slowly :)
- [12:53] Soft Linden: Yeah, I think this is because mutes are done by name. :/
- [12:53] Soft Linden: Let's import this.
- [12:53] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:53] Soft Linden: Man, getting a lot of imports today.
- [12:53] Tillie Ariantho: Latif]]: :P
- [12:53] Alexa Linden: and one more for the day

- [12:54] JIRA-helper: [#VWR-8694] Significant drop in frame rates noticed in 1.21 public nightly vs 1.20.15 on same machine/settings
- [12:54] Latif Khalifa: is there "Too stale" resolution? ;)
- [12:54] Soft Linden: There should be :/
- [12:54] Soft Linden: If someone wants to load up 1.20 and 1.21, bursting open the fast timers and getting snapshots of where time is being spent would help.
- [12:55] Soft Linden: In fast timers, you can expand the different parts to see not just "graphics" but 30 different stages of "graphics"
- [12:55] Yann Dufaux: ok, i add watch on this bugs ㋡
- [12:55] Soft Linden: So I guess NMI if there's a chance of anyone actually doing that? But seems unlikely.
- [12:55] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:55] Alexa Linden: And that's it for today :)
- [12:55] Latif Khalifa: wow
- [12:55] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: Ramzi Linden is assigned to it.
- [12:55] Alexa Linden: Thank you Harleen for the agenda
- [12:56] Latif Khalifa: effiient!
- [12:56] Soft Linden: Thanks for coming, all - this is always really helpful
- [12:56] Dedric Mauriac: ah, so sad. i was hoping you would get to 4900
- [12:56] Alexa Linden: and thank you for all attending and offering your suggestions and insights :)
- [12:56] Aargle Zymurgy: and thanks for taking the time, Soft and Alexa
- [12:56] Tillie Ariantho: When do snapshots get fixed? ,)
- [12:56] Asterion Coen: oh, already finish ? i was just begining to be attentionned :)

- [12:57] Aargle Zymurgy: whee
- [12:57] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: See you.
- [12:57] Latif Khalifa: you too Alexa!
- [12:57] Asterion Coen: happy new year !
- [12:57] Asterion Coen: and lot of good resolutions to LL folks !
- [12:57] Thickbrick Sleaford: about that 1.21 framerate bug - it dropped from 100 fps to 75 fps, with the extra tiem being spent in sleep - maybe it's vsync?
- [12:58] Sahkolihaa Contepomi: They put statistics for frame rates lower than 75 though in the description.
- [12:58] Thickbrick Sleaford: oh
