Agenda 2018-03-15

This Week

  • Rolled DRTSIM-369 to Second Life RC Magnum and Second Life RC LeTigre
    • Internal fixes
    • Logging to help diagnose an issue with in-world HTTP servers returning HTTP 503 (BUG-214702)
    • Adds a new capability to request IMs that were delivered to the requesting agent while the agent was offline
    • Adds a new capability to request the most up to date list of abuse report categories
  • Rolled DRTSIM-340 to Second Life RC BlueSteel
    • Internal fixes
  • We've found a dev who can work on Aditi sync, still no ETA for testing. We'll make sure to call it out when we have something for you all to test
  • Some behind the scenes changes to our CDN, please let us know if you have any problems - or notice any changes - with CDN-served assets (meshes, animations, sounds, etc.)


Next Week

  • We'll have a new version of DRTSIM-369 on RC Magnum and RC LeTigre with a addition to the data provided by one of the new capabilities
  • We hope to have another round of DRTSIM-340 on RC BlueSteel next week as well
  • Continuing to test behind the scenes CDN changes

Soon

  • We have an upcoming OS upgrade to our internal communication servers, larger than any other server OS upgrade we've done in the last year

Open Items

  • NEW BUG-5034 - If an EM restarts a region and then teleports out immediately, the EM will disconnect just after teleport, seemingly only if no other avatars were on the region when it was restarted. - Please can this get fixed before it drives me even more insane Whirly Fizzle (talk) 13:20, 27 June 2017 (PDT)
