- [12:04] Kona Linden: If you are here for MISC-2736, this is a policy issue and we don't handle them here and this has been passed to the AO team.
- [12:04] Prospero Linden: Oh, not that announcement
- [12:04] Infinity Linden: ossm
- [12:04] Object: Hello,: Avatar!
- [12:04] Xaria Mistwallow: <<<hihi>>>
- [12:04] Bau Ur: looks to see which one that is
- [12:05] Morgaine Dinova: Animation Override team handles that? Odd ...
- [12:05] Kona Linden: So, let's just keep that in mind as we go through today's agenda
- [12:05] Cummere Mayo: whats the differance between 2727 and 2736?
- [12:05] Xaria Mistwallow: hi soft!
- [12:05] Prospero Linden: They're both policy issues, so won't be addressed here
- [12:05] Soft Linden: Rawr!
- [12:05] xstorm Radek: ? what did i miss not seeing this time ?
- [12:05] Xaria Mistwallow: purr
- [12:05] Morgaine Dinova: Hiya Soft :-)
- [12:05] Xaria Mistwallow: =)
- [12:05] Soft Linden: Hey hey hey
- [12:05] Bau Ur: Heheh that is the "ladyboy" error.
- [12:06] Kona Linden: I know a lot of AO issues have come to the forefront, but trust that the AO team will be addressing these issues =)
- [12:06] Kona Linden: Ok, now...
- [12:06] Bau Ur: Please, in whose office hours would that properly be discussed?
- [12:06] xstorm Radek: Cat people not need to worry about that
- [12:06] Kona Linden: Bau, good question
- [12:06] Kona Linden: lemme check real quick
- [12:06] Xaria Mistwallow: ow, i found a interresting bug. I noticed that sometimes on 1.23beta body parts will be come invisible
- [12:06] Cummere Mayo: unfrotuneately theres not anyone really
- [12:06] Morgaine Dinova: Hiya Dessie :-)
- [12:06] Moon Metty: hi Dessie
- [12:06] Xaria Mistwallow: I made a screenshot aswell fot hat
- [12:06] Bau Ur: I have no wish to burden the wrong person with it but I have every intention of burdening the right pwerson.
- [12:06] Xaria Mistwallow: of that*
- [12:06] Xaria Mistwallow: hi dessie!
- [12:06] Cummere Mayo: hey dessie
- [12:07] Dessie Linden: Hi Morgaine, Moon, Xaria and Cummere!
- [12:07] Bau Ur: Thank you Kona.
- [12:07] Dessie Linden: and a big wave to everyone!
- [12:07] Alexa Linden: smiles at Dessie Bunneh
- [12:07] Harleen Gretzky: Hi Dessie
- [12:07] xstorm Radek: i have been watching OZ and the hobo again they have copyright pics in there inventory on the assets server
- [12:07] Dessie Linden: Hi Harleen
- [12:07] Xaria Mistwallow: i see at this moment only partially of Prospero;s and infinity's body aswell
- [12:07] Xaria Mistwallow: if i zoom in, no problem
- [12:07] Dessie Linden: heya Alexa
- [12:07] Bau Ur: INteresting, Xaria.
- [12:07] Soft Linden: Is there a meta jira for contested keywords? If you want to be sure those are under one umbrella and each has rationalle for why it may have non-adult use, we can be sure the AO team knows about it.
- [12:08] Prospero Linden: Are we still having asset server problems?
- [12:08] Xaria Mistwallow: and no, this isnt a problem of settings or anything
- [12:08] Bau Ur: Xaria you are sure it does not simply relate to the number of people here, and your draw distance?
- [12:08] Infinity Linden: mmm.. it might also be viewer issues
- [12:08] Cummere Mayo: there is soft
- [12:08] Harleen Gretzky: There is a JIRA for that
- [12:08] Soft Linden: Even if we can't decide those with the people here, we can pass that to the right people.
- [12:08] Infinity Linden: i found a lot of that with the recent RC0
- [12:08] Ellla McMahon: Xaria, [1]
- [12:08] Cummere Mayo: i dont have the number of fthe top of my head but i ran across it today
- [12:08] Xaria Mistwallow: i got 13 years experience with pc's etc, so i know what im talking about :p
- [12:08] Morgaine Dinova: Xaria: that's normal now, been happening for some months. There's some sort of rather close-by clip plane of sorts.
- [12:08] Prospero Linden: Ah, yeah --
- [12:08] Prospero Linden: That's fixed in1 .23 I think
- [12:08] Prospero Linden: Distant avatars would fade out in 1.21 and 1.22
- [12:08] Prospero Linden: You can chagne it with a debug setting
- [12:09] Kona Linden: Ok, so I've pinged someone to get me the info, so in the meantime, let's continue
- [12:09] Xaria Mistwallow: Ella: yeah, looks like that bug. only worse
- [12:09] Prospero Linden: RenderMaxAvatarsvisible or some such
- [12:09] Squirrel Wood: rc0... no go for me... german windows. :p
- [12:09] Cummere Mayo: wasnt rc0 retracted?
- [12:09] Dessie Linden: We removed the download, yes
- [12:09] Kona Linden: Ok folks: [2]
- [12:09] Xaria Mistwallow: I got it just before it went offline i guess
- [12:09] Prospero Linden: RC0 was retracted because it was (falsely) triggering a viurs scanner
- [12:09] Soft Linden: I found the meta issue for AO keywords. I'll pass that to the AO team. Looks like they've already seen it at least.
- [12:09] Ellla McMahon: Xaria, try the links on [3]
- [12:09] Kona Linden: Starting with Patches...
- [12:10] Kona Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13177
- [12:10] Dessie Linden: we're not going to put it back up because RC1 is coming out this week
- [12:10] Kona Linden: Allow XUI to specificy tooltips for combo box list entries
- [12:10] Prospero Linden: thinks Patches sounds like a name for a cat
- [12:10] Moon Metty: hehe
- [12:10] Moon Metty: a cat with sharp claws
- [12:11] Soft Linden: Ah, this is cool
- [12:12] Soft Linden: We don't need to import this though.
- [12:12] Squirrel Wood: yup.. tool tips help
- [12:12] Bau Ur: Thank you Soft. What is the meta issue number for the Adult keywords? And please can we get a different abbreviation than AO? It is ambiguous because of Animation Overrride so commonly being abbreviated AO.
- [12:12] Soft Linden: Robin's going to put it in the open source tree, so you can just mark the date on this one.
- [12:12] Cummere Mayo: since im not entirely sure what this one is trying to do ill abstaine unless someone cares to translate it via im for me
- [12:12] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:12] Aimee Trescothick: oh yeah, Robin kindly did this to support VWR-8008 of mine that just went into http-texture over the weekend
- [12:12] xstorm Radek: :-)
- [12:12] Kona Linden: kk
- [12:12] Soft Linden: Bau - the meta is SVC-4149 - and you could create a JIRA suggesting the name change. But really I don't know that it's going to be in common use after launch. I think it's just a bad development name.
- [12:13] Aimee Trescothick: doesn't need any action unless someone has a weird objection to it :)
- [12:13] Alexa Linden: thanks Aimee :)
- [12:13] Kona Linden: thx Aimee
- [12:13] Aimee Trescothick: :)
- [12:13] Kona Linden: Next up, HOT BY VOTE!
- [12:13] Morgaine Dinova: Bad development names can sometimes stick around :-(
- [12:13] Prospero Linden: Am I Hot or Not?
- [12:13] Kona Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-2736
- [12:13] Kona Linden: Remove "Ladyboy" from the list of Adult keys!
- [12:14] Soft Linden: Was gonna say, Prospero. Hot by vote: ME!
- [12:14] Alexa Linden: this is going to the AO team

- [12:14] Kona Linden: um, yep[
- [12:14] Dirk Talamasca: How'd it get in there?
- [12:15] RichD Tomsen: did we get an answer as to who heads up that team and their office hours
- [12:15] Kona Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13098
- [12:15] Kona Linden: Touch Text set using llSetTouchText is not displayed in the viewer

- [12:15] Kona Linden: yeah, lemme answer that after this one
- [12:15] Kona Linden: lol
- [12:15] Kona Linden: *multi-tasking*
- [12:15] Soft Linden: Oof, this should get imported.
- [12:15] Cummere Mayo: please
- [12:15] Cummere Mayo: nod nods
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: noted
- [12:16] Soft Linden: This would be a 1-23-mustfix
- [12:16] Prospero Linden: Is this only in 1.23?
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: k
- [12:16] Prospero Linden: That is, are we sure it's a viewer-side issue?
- [12:16] Harleen Gretzky: yes, only 1.23
- [12:16] Prospero Linden: k
- [12:16] Cummere Mayo: 1.22 it works still
- [12:16] Moon Metty: hi Tech
- [12:16] Xaria Mistwallow: hey tech
- [12:16] Morgaine Dinova: Hiya Techwolf :-)
- [12:16] Alexa Linden: Hey Tech
- [12:16] Prospero Linden: is always happy when something is a viewer side issue... he's lazy :)
- [12:16] Techwolf Lupindo: Hi all
- [12:16] Soft Linden: Most likely. I think we would have heard 100db screaming if it were broken in 1.26. :)
- [12:16] Bau Ur: :)
- [12:16] Harleen Gretzky: lol
- [12:16] Kona Linden: no comment

- [12:22] Soft Linden: Oh yeah, saw this issue.
- [12:22] Xaria Mistwallow: i noticed the same problem
- [12:22] Soft Linden: It seems to affect alpha'd layers that are close together in HUDs, like there's not enough precision in the sort.
- [12:22] Xaria Mistwallow: hard to read the symbolic translator if it does not show any text
- [12:22] Soft Linden: This should be imported. If anyone can post the names of other affected items you have, it would be a huge help.
- [12:22] Prospero Linden: details, details
- [12:23] Cummere Mayo: might it be related to all the other alpha layer bugs cropping up in 1.23?
- [12:23] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:23] Kona Linden: kk
- [12:23] Bau Ur: Yes, SImbolic is a good translator and it will be a problem for quite a few if it is not functional.

- [12:26] Kona Linden: yeah
- [12:27] Moon Metty: or use ctrl-printscreen to make a screenshot
- [12:27] Soft Linden: We could take this in and pass it to the AO PM for a decision

- Falados - there was a problem with your SLim account, but I was told it was fixed.

- [12:38] Bau Ur: SO, people show go re-confirm their old reported bugs now and then, in comments?
- [12:38] Bau Ur: should
- [12:38] Ellla McMahon: so that's a later comment than on https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-959
- [12:38] Xaria Mistwallow: I Im peopel offline since i got in SL
- [12:38] Xaria Mistwallow: just by email
- [12:38] Kona Linden: it would often times be helpful to make sure the latest version is affected or not
- [12:38] Dessie Linden: wildflowers, Xaria... :o)
- [12:38] Xaria Mistwallow: yup dessie :p
- [12:39] Kona Linden: SO NMI for SLim?
- [12:39] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:39] Dessie Linden: sorry folks, I've got to run.
- [12:39] Kona Linden: bye Dessie
- [12:39] Cummere Mayo: tc dessie!
- [12:39] Dessie Linden: see you all soon!
- [12:39] Xaria Mistwallow: you can actually email people inword if the email code you use is right
- [12:39] Moon Metty: bye Dessie :)
- [12:39] Kona Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1546
- [12:39] Xaria Mistwallow: if somoene sends you a message while you are offline...
- [12:39] Kona Linden: Group Chat says only participant when there are other participants.
- [12:39] Soft Linden: Yeah, that most recent comment on the other issue linked looks like a different issue.
- [12:39] Xaria Mistwallow: you rechieve a message in your inbox..
- [12:40] Prospero Linden: VWR-1546 is another old issue, last comment was from October
- [12:40] Xaria Mistwallow: the link you recieve is part of the trick
- [12:40] Cummere Mayo: I ahvent seen this in a while but it was mroe recent then oct when i last saw it
- [12:40] Xaria Mistwallow: just delete the part of what the message is about, any re: parts etc
- [12:40] Xaria Mistwallow: even the message
- [12:40] Alexa Linden: this is old
- [12:40] Xaria Mistwallow: then fill in your own message and send
- [12:40] Soft Linden: They may not understand that participants can leave the session, leaving them as the only one even if others are on.
- [12:40] Prospero Linden: There were some fixes to multiagent chat in 1.26
- [12:41] Soft Linden: I'll add a comment to this one explaining how they can check.
- [12:41] Prospero Linden: server 1.26
- [12:41] Prospero Linden: Soft : ah, good idea
- [12:41] Cummere Mayo: no soft, what i was seeing was the group chat never initiallized and this message came isntead
- [12:41] Xaria Mistwallow: found that out by lucky guess when I could not enter SL
- [12:41] Bau Ur: Soft, does that actually work for everyone? I think sometimes when you leave a session, as soon as someone posts something new in the IM it comes up again?
- [12:41] Cummere Mayo: nasreen tested this one throughly and ive seen it too. but it stopped in january
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: I haven't seen it for quite a while
- [12:42] Kona Linden: I used to get this all the time, but I assumed it's been fixed
- [12:42] Soft Linden: Yeah, there is a bug where sometimes the window will reopen if the serer didn't get the message for leaving the chat.
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: NMI? Still a problem>
- [12:42] Kona Linden: so ask if it's still occurring?
- [12:42] Kona Linden: yeah
- [12:42] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:42] Cummere Mayo: I move to ask if anyone still sees it and resolve as nmi. and if no response in a week call it fixed
- [12:43] Soft Linden: Yeah, NMI on this. And I left the comment on how to check for themselves.
- [12:43] Xaria Mistwallow: i never used it, so i dunno
- [12:43] Kona Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3157
- [12:43] WolfPup Lowenhar: this might be related but some time i get and unable to send to group please try again later
- [12:43] Kona Linden: double actions on the avatar, as well as words in chat and IMs
- [12:43] Soft Linden: The unable to send issue would be separate. And annoying as all get out. :<
- [12:43] Kona Linden: Wolfpup, was that recently though?
- [12:43] Soft Linden: oops gesture grr
- [12:44] WolfPup Lowenhar: today twice
- [12:44] Xaria Mistwallow: is this person sure he/she doesnt have each animation activated twice?
- [12:44] Xaria Mistwallow: sounds like a good option to look at :p
- [12:44] Kona Linden: Wolfpup, can you please comment so on that JIRA please?
- [12:44] Moon Metty: i've seen double chat, and also double IM's
- [12:44] Moon Metty: not too long ago
- [12:44] Bau Ur: Yes me too.
- [12:44] WolfPup Lowenhar: ok
- [12:45] Cummere Mayo: im commenting as well
- [12:45] Cummere Mayo: ive expereinced this too
- [12:45] Cummere Mayo: and on eithernet
- [12:45] Bau Ur: It used to be more common but not so consistent as to be reproducible.
- [12:45] Kona Linden: Moon, I've see that too, along with delay postings of comments in group chat...during this hour in fact
- [12:45] Kona Linden: and I'm running the live release
- [12:45] Bau Ur: /wonders how many bugs are actaully going on here.
- [12:45] Soft Linden: Hmm. Our UDP system is supposed to discard duplicate packets.
- [12:45] Moon Metty: it seems to happen to certain people. maybe because of their connection
- [12:46] WolfPup Lowenhar: then it might be a sever isue for the group chats then
- [12:46] Soft Linden: This should be SVC, and can go in for core to peek at.
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:46] Alexa Linden: moving to svc and importing
- [12:46] Bau Ur: Sometimes i get an error message saying my IM didn't go through...but then it does, and by then i have typed the same thing again, so it is doubled. I wonder if this is related or not?
- [12:46] Infinity Linden: mmm... delays in group chat is a well known problem, but distinct from duplicates (i thought)
- [12:46] Prospero Linden: (which bug are we on?)
- [12:46] Kona Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-548
- [12:46] Kona Linden: Crash Logger never finishes at all
- [12:46] Prospero Linden: had really hoped that the new multi-agent chat multiprocessor code in 1.26 would fix a lot of this group chat problem :)
- [12:46] Prospero Linden: :(
- [12:46] Prospero Linden: :|
- [12:46] Infinity Linden: yeah.. you're supposed to get the error if the system can't complete the IM transaction
- [12:46] Infinity Linden: but you're not also supposed to see the message go through
- [12:47] WolfPup Lowenhar: i was talking about https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1546
- [12:47] Bau Ur: But then it completes it :)
- [12:47] Xaria Mistwallow: crash logger rather not doing any connection
- [12:47] Soft Linden: This is olllllld - and the crash reporter has been majorly reworked since then.
- [12:47] Xaria Mistwallow: i usually have it off
- [12:47] Soft Linden: I'd NMI, ask if it's still happening.
- [12:47] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:47] Xaria Mistwallow: doesnt help much if it doesnt send :p
- [12:47] Cummere Mayo: it works for me most times now.
- [12:47] Cummere Mayo: thoug
- [12:47] Cummere Mayo: *though
- [12:48] Cummere Mayo: 1.23 takes usually 2 tries before it goes through. and if i use 1.22 it works first try
- [12:48] Techwolf Lupindo: I have had crashlogger hang to infintilly before.
- [12:48] Kona Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-10274
- [12:48] Cummere Mayo: is there any differance in the loggers?
- [12:48] Kona Linden: Video Stream from Quicktime Streaming Server looks pixely and on the windows client has a green bar underneath it.
- [12:48] Squirrel Wood: quicktime version installed? graphics driver version?
- [12:48] Xaria Mistwallow: I used 1.21 aswell from time to time still
- [12:49] Xaria Mistwallow: i dont even get it to work on that due lagg
- [12:49] Soft Linden: It would help if they could point to a parcel or a stream where this happens.
- [12:49] Cummere Mayo: nmi on this
- [12:49] Xaria Mistwallow: on 1.23 no problem
- [12:49] Squirrel Wood: It may be part of the stream
- [12:49] Alexa Linden: ok
- [12:49] Bau Ur: Myfreind who was here earlier and crashed is concerned about this one. All drivers current. Various streams.
- [12:50] Prospero Linden: We'd need a specific stream and parcel, as well as a specific list of driver versions, to repro internally
- [12:50] Alexa Linden: I was watching videos yesterday with no problem
- [12:50] Cummere Mayo: bau can you have them comment with as much info and the links to the streams as possible?
- [12:50] Xaria Mistwallow: could be that the video(s) in particular are too small
- [12:50] Kona Linden: the links would be a great help
- [12:50] Xaria Mistwallow: or too big for that matter
- [12:50] Soft Linden: They -should- scale without a problem. But we'll find out!
- [12:51] Squirrel Wood: screenshot would be top
- [12:51] Squirrel Wood: showcase video would be better
- [12:51] Harleen Gretzky: LifeChurch.tv, Experience Island (116, 171, 42)
- [12:51] Bau Ur: Yes I will tell him to add his comments to the JIRA. I am surprised to see that he has nto done so.
- [12:52] Soft Linden: fwiw - as a temporary workaround, you should be able to adjust the texture scale to clip the green off the bottom.
- [12:53] Soft Linden: But that's certainly suboptimal.
- [12:53] Kona Linden: yep
- [12:53] Prospero Linden: likes the term "suboptimal" and uses it frequently in everyday speech
- [12:53] Kona Linden: ok so NMI for actual links?
- [12:53] Alexa Linden: yup
- [12:53] Kona Linden: kk
- [12:53] Soft Linden: Would help - can import next week if there's juicy data there
- [12:53] Kona Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11874
- [12:53] Cummere Mayo: links, and probably dirver, parcels and system specs kona?
- [12:53] Prospero Linden: yes
- [12:53] Kona Linden: Second Life Viewer 1.18 - 1.22 still slow and glitchy with ati catalyst drivers 7.12 - now 9.4 10-15 max fps (terrible) "STILL NO FIX YET" ;X
- [12:54] Kona Linden: Cummere, yep
- [12:54] Moon Metty: ah, an ATI fan
- [12:54] RichD Tomsen: This broke in 1.23 I was using the 9.3 version of the ATI driver.... I upgraded to 9.4 and that made it even worse.... only by disableing OpenGL will it stop
- [12:54] Squirrel Wood: what card?
- [12:54] RichD Tomsen: I'm using an HD 4800
- [12:54] Prospero Linden: had an ATI fan once -- it got very noisy, and he tried to replace it, and broke the card in so doing
- [12:54] Soft Linden: Yeah - there are major problems in the more recent ATI catalyst drivers. I know we have a promise of a specific fix from ATI, but that it didn't make the last cut.
- [12:54] Kona Linden: Sapphire X1950?
- [12:54] Moon Metty: :)
- [12:54] Kona Linden: it should be adequate
- [12:55] Kona Linden: but ATI drivers are the suck
- [12:55] Prospero Linden: actually got a fanless NVidia card for his desktop... good enough for decent SL performance, and *quiet*
- [12:55] Cummere Mayo: loves my nvidea card....
- [12:55] Alexa Linden: VWR-3258?
- [12:55] Kona Linden: ?
- [12:55] Alexa Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3258
- [12:55] Kona Linden: I thought we were on VWR-11874
- [12:55] Alexa Linden: relates to?
- [12:55] Latif Khalifa: Prospero, 8600?
- [12:56] Kona Linden: ohhh
- [12:56] Prospero Linden: Latif, 9600 actually. It's got a HUGE heat sink on it
- [12:56] Prospero Linden: Eats up an extra slot
- [12:56] Cummere Mayo: i would say its a defiante possibiluity
- [12:57] Xaria Mistwallow: I only use windloght to make pictures, since I dont have the money i dont use it :p
- [12:57] Xaria Mistwallow: way to laggy
- [12:57] Cummere Mayo: smiles at prospero "good choice in cards. "
- [12:57] Xaria Mistwallow: it really 'eats' all memory
- [12:57] Soft Linden: For this one - there's a separate issue for VBO and a set of ATI cards
- [12:57] Bau Ur: WOuld it be too far off topic to ask how often the system requirements for SL are updated? IT might be good to do this quite often. There are people who have the approved equipment yet have a hard time handling SL. Can't use atmospheric shaders without massive lag for example.
- [12:57] WolfPup Lowenhar: < wonders how to know if windlight is on or not
- [12:57] Cummere Mayo: wolf if your grpahics are set to ultra windlight is on
- [12:57] Kona Linden: yeah, VWR-11874 relate to VWR-3258?
- [12:57] Xaria Mistwallow: Memory: 4095 MB,Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2
- [12:58] Bau Ur: Atmospheric Shaders were part of WIndlight.
- [12:58] Prospero Linden: Bau : yeah, that's a good idea. The Doc team is *probably* in charge of that. It might be good also to list which settings are good for which ranges of cards.
- [12:58] Soft Linden: Ack. Lots of issues relating to ATI and VBO, actually :<
- [12:58] Cummere Mayo: and kona, i think its possible they are
- [12:58] Techwolf Lupindo: Or like me and came in after windligh and wonder what the huge halaboo about and how it was lagging system down...
- [12:58] Prospero Linden: e.g. if you turn off atmospheric shaders, you can get a big performance boost on older cards
- [12:58] Kona Linden: ...looking at 3258 more...
- [12:58] Techwolf Lupindo: Advice was "turn off windlight"...I say....How?
- [12:58] Xaria Mistwallow: lately I have everything pretty much on minimum due lag attacks and griefers
- [12:58] Cummere Mayo: turn your grpahics settings to medium tech
- [12:59] Soft Linden: There is SUCH a soup of these VBO issues.
- [12:59] Alexa Linden: so dup or related?
- [12:59] Bau Ur: TEchwold, turn off atmospheric shaders in Preferences, Graphics tab, and you are turning off most of WIndlight.
- [12:59] Cummere Mayo: soft? can we meta them all and import them in one go?
- [12:59] Techwolf Lupindo: Ok. Where is that documated?
- [12:59] Latif Khalifa: Prospero, btw. you should get rid of "preview grid viewers" on [5] confuses the hell out of ppl
- [12:59] Xaria Mistwallow: i can however make great things with windlight, just takes really alot of time tho
- [12:59] Cummere Mayo: knowledgebase tech :)
- [12:59] Moon Metty: (does anyone see Infinity all grey?)
- [12:59] Soft Linden: Yeah. I think VWR-6654 would make a good VBO meta issue
- [12:59] Soft Linden: If someone wants to volunteer to run through and link all the VBO issues to VWR-6654 then we could import that and have something less noisy to work from.
- [13:00] Techwolf Lupindo: I do. All I got is hair and horn on Infinity. Rest is grey.
- [13:00] Cummere Mayo: i could do that later this week if you remind me soft
- [13:00] Soft Linden: VWR-6654 is the nice straightforward "VBO actually reduces performance on some video cards"
- [13:00] Moon Metty: me too, Tech
- [13:00] Cummere Mayo: ill forget if im not reminded ><
- [13:00] Soft Linden: I'll forget to remind if I'm not reminded!
- [13:00] Squirrel Wood: I hereby remind you.
- [13:00] Latif Khalifa: yeah infinity needs a rebake :P
- [13:01] Bau Ur: There are a lot of "folkloric" solutions to dealing with strain on video cards but ultimately if LL gives up-to-date and realistic system requirements people will be able to better know whether problems are buts and glitches or are their own responsibility (their own equipment shortcomings).
- [13:01] Kona Linden: no comment
- [13:01] Second Life: Your object 'Tiny Black Recliner' has been returned to your inventory lost and found folder by Liana Linden from parcel 'Hippotropolis Theater' at Hippotropolis 240, 11 due to parcel auto return.
- [13:01] Techwolf Lupindo: New feature, auto-rebake? :-)
- [13:01] Soft Linden: Bau, the problem is it's not really straightforward. There are some cards that only have problems with some driver versions, etc.
- [13:01] Cummere Mayo: Ive asked for an ability to bake other's avitars >,<
- [13:01] Xaria Mistwallow: Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 just told me that there is a big test for 1.23 coming up this week, for any bugs we can find. I think however this mainly is about the translations tho
- [13:01] Alexa Linden: Thanks all!
- [13:02] Xaria Mistwallow: Thank Youuuuuuuuuu!!
- [13:02] Xaria Mistwallow: all Lindens!
- [13:02] Kona Linden: Gah it's taht time!
- [13:02] Soft Linden: There are literally tens of thousands of permutations thanks to very inconsistent handling of opengl on the Windows platform. Grr.
- [13:02] Moon Metty: :)
- [13:02] Alexa Linden: see some of you one Wednesday :D
