The world of Second Life is composed of two distinct pieces of software that work together:

Periodically, the Viewer and the Server are each upgraded to a new version, but this does not always happen at the same time. Therefore each has its own distinct Release Notes for the date it was upgraded.
To find the appropriate Release Notes for your Viewer version, just scroll down to the list at the bottom of this page<br />
