Content Creation/Mesh Import User Group
Currently topics are focused on anything related to the mesh import project. Feature requests, bug reports, design feedback, questions, comments, or example content are welcome.
Priority will be given to topics that are posted in advance and are relevant to the goals of the office hour. Feel free to include relevant links to JIRA or wiki pages.

- Since mesh materials came to discussion again, instead of dealing with JIRAS that fail to mention which version of which 3D program (or ... text editor) was used, isn't it about time that you finally show some attention to the very real issue of .dae files in at least the 1.4.1 specification? It's already close to a year, for example, that the "2012" versions of Maya, XSI and Max are out there (with "2013" coming soon) and these all cannot make use of the earlier FBX exporter that produces .dae files valid for Second Life, so we still have to rely on the workaround. But how much longer and why should we have to in the first place? (Angel Alphaville)
