# Is there any chance we can get a feature for flipping mesh along one or more of its axes? It would simplify building symmetrical structures and possibly have a positive impact on performance, as you would only need to download one copy of the object (assuming the mirroring is stored as a property of the mesh.)[[User:Cain Maven|Cain Maven]] | # Is there any chance we can get a feature for flipping mesh along one or more of its axes? # When you squeeze any deminsion of a mesh to less than 0.5m, the server secretly switches it's physics shape type to Convex Hull, to avoid huge triangle-based weights. However, When a legacy prim is uses the new accounting syatem because of putting a specular map on it etc. this switch does not vhappen. This can cause astronomical physics weights. Is this omission a bug?[[User:Drongle McMahon|Drongle McMahon]] | # When you squeeze any deminsion of a mesh to less than 0.5m, the server secretly switches it's physics shape type to Convex Hull, to avoid huge triangle-based weights. Revision as of 07:20, 29 July 2013
Come discuss any issues around content creation - its challenges, limitations in the tools, workarounds and successes. Land is provided next to the office build for rezzing example content. Bug reports and feature requests should have JIRA ticket numbers if at all possible, as it makes it easier to collaborate on issues both internally and externally.
Priority will be given to topics that are posted in advance and are relevant to the goals of the office hour. Feel free to include relevant links to JIRA or wiki pages.
Mondays at Noon in Pacific time (SL standard time) at Borrowdale on AGNI
Also see the calendar of public user group meetings.
Agenda
Agenda for the next user group meeting is:
Please add topics below prior to 11:50 AM. Also, please put your SL name down so we can follow up if we have questions. Thanks!
